If you are a baker (or eat treats made by a baker) you better read this. Robin Hood brand All Purpose Flour has been recalledfor possible E. coli contamination.

The recalled flour is the 10 kg bag of original flour that was sold in stores in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Other Robin Hood flour has not been recalled.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued the recall as the result of an investigation into an outbreak of foodborne illness. They reported that one person has been sick after eating the flour.

Food contaminated with E. coli doesn't appear to be unsafe, but the CFIA reports that it can still make you sick. Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, mild to severe abdominal cramps and diarrhea. If you have consumed the affected product and are feeling unwell, you should contact your doctor.

The affected Robin Hood Flour products have removed from grocery stores until the investigation is complete.
