LuvMyBox was kind enough to send out a box for my perusal, and it was 50 Shades of Grey themed. The contents included black rose restraints, a satin blindfold, Sliquid lubricant, and a playful tickler. Retail price for the 4 items would be $42. You can actually check out what I got here.
What I liked:
The Black Rose Rosie Restraints are rather nice and of a good quality. I have also wanted to try out the Sliquid brand for a while, and this is a great chance to try it out. The box was nicely put together. I like that the box encourages people to experiment. Sometimes I feel we lack imagination and such packages can be quite inspiring. I truly think this box will make an awesome Valentines Gift as well. I also love the little card shaped like a door-hanger telling people to not disturb while you explore the package!
What I didn't like:
The tickler seemed rather cheap to me (and didn't match the restraints). Also, there were no instructions with the restraints on how to use them. I had to find them online and study the image to see how they did it. Simple after you know. I also would like the box to be of a little higher value. Though you are already saving money, I like mystery packages to be of a value that it doesn't hurt me if I find one item not of use.
Final Verdict:
This is a pretty cool idea. If you need to spice up the old bedroom activities, or merely treat a loved one to something fun; this is a great idea. I also think you should keep this in mind for Valentines Day. Forget the cliché chocolates, teddy bear, or roses... this box makes a much better gift!
