Baby-Vac: The Most Effective Nasal Aspirator - EVER!

Baby-Vac: The Most Effective Nasal Aspirator - EVER!

Have you heard of the Baby-Vac? It is said to be the best nasal aspirator - ever. It definitely looks easier to use than those handheld squeeze-type aspirators. What do you think?

I posted a video below to show you how this thing works, but basically you hook up the Baby-Vac Nasal Aspirator to your vacuum and have at 'er. It is said to be the most effective nasal aspirator - ever. I am sure when you have a congested infant, you will thank me for telling you about this genius invention.

Warning: Video contains booger footage. If you are not a mom, you probably have not been submitted to graphic images like this and should refrain from watching.

You can order this Baby-Vac from two places in Canada. Amazon.ca has it for $29.99 with $9.99 shipping, but there are only a few left. BabyVac.ca has it for $23, plus $9.99 shipping. So that is your best bet - but they only accept PayPal.

The only complaint I have read thus far, is that it may make some vacuums make a whining noise (like select Dyson models). Mostly because it doesn't allow much air flow to come in.

So, do you think you would use something like this on your little one?

We had one of these when my daughter was a baby. I made sure to try it out for myself to make sure the suction wasn't going to be intense. Let me tell you that it really worked!

I use to worry so much when she was tiny and had a cold. Babies are unable to blow their nose and the poor thing could not breath. I would place her to sleep in her bouncy chair (so she wouldn't be laying flat) and I would sleep on the floor beside her.  But this aspirator helped clear the nasal passage so she could breath.

That is awesome to hear. I did the same with my son when he was sick as an infant. He slept in his bouncy seat or swing and I would sleep right beside him. Scary when they can't get air through their nose for sure! Glad this actually works!
