You can make pureed baby food easy and quickly with this blender. With my first child, I was so excited to buy those little jars of food with all the selections, but after an incident where my child ate a 3-day-old open jar of food and didn't get sick, I had to wonder what kind of preservatives were in those jars! I made all of my own baby food after that, although I didn't have such a simple tool as this blender.
