Are you looking forward to the new Mario Kart 8 game? I know the men and boys in my house definitely are! Simply buy any version of the Mario Kart 8 game, register your game, and you'll get a code to get your free downloadable Nintendo game.
Until July 31st, buy your game and register it and you'll get a code for your choice of one of the following games:
- Super Mario Bros. U
- Pikmin 3
- The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Walker HD
- Wii Party U
Those games each have a $39.99 value.
You can buy any version of the game to get your free downloadable game. If you buy the packaged version, find the Club Nintendo insert inside the game and enter the registration code on the Nintendo website. If you are buying the game from the Nintendo eShop, link your WiiU console to Club Nintendo before you buy Mario Kart 8 to get your free game. If you buy the Wii U console that includes Mario Kart 8, simply link your new Wii U console to your Club Nintendo account to register the game. As you can see, you'll need a Club Nintendo account.
Once you've registered, login to your Club Nintendo account and select "select your free game" in your to-do list before August 31st, 2014. Once you get the code for that, enter your download code and play!
My boys have all of the games above except Zelda, which I think they would love. We are definitely going to take advantage of this offer as soon as possible. If you don't have any of the games above, I highly suggest Wii Party U. It is a game I love playing with my family, with fun mini games that are easy enough for little kids, but difficult enough for adults.
I have also heard that Target is the best place to get the Mario Kart 8 game, as you'll get a free wheel with your purchase. Mario Kart (the original) was my favourite game to play with my family as a kid and I can't wait to play it with my kids now.
