Hape Under The Sea Pretend Playset Was $11 | Now $5 @ Amazon

10 September 2015

Amazon Canada has a nice deal on this Hape Under The Sea Pretend Playset. Originally $11.19, this playset is now on sale for $5. Receive free shipping if you are a Prime Member or receive free shipping on orders of $25 or more.

This set includes twelve aquatic-loving creatures with a convenient tote. Your child can practice colours, numbers, and names when they play with these toys. I originally thought that these were toys for playing with in the tub, but they are actually wood-based toy creatures that your child can enjoy anywhere. They are designed for ages 12 months old to three years.

The wooden creatures are all non-toxic and child safe toys for your young one to play with. I was recently talking to a colleague about cheap wooden toys from China and we both agreed that - while they are nice and cheap - we would worry about the paint and sealant as we would not know if they use non-toxic products.

These aquatic style creatures are just adorable and the perfect gift for a child ruled by their imagination. You can mix and match with other Hape play sets for a larger variety of creatures in your collection. Now, I did find this bag on sale at Chapters from $9.95 down to $5 but they are completely sold out (and have been for a week now).

You can see the cute little creatures you will get in the above image. I like the hammerhead shark and the turtle best, but all of them are so cute. These toys are also an excellent way for your child to learn about the creatures in the ocean. It would even be fun to watch some children's nature shows on the ocean while your child plays with his or her toys.

Given the great price for this set and the fact that when Chapters had the same deal it sold out quickly, I figured this would be a nice little deal for our Moosers. If you do not have Prime, you can get a trial for 30 days or six-months if you are a student.
