Hudson's Bay Canada: 50% Off Flannel Nighties Now $27

23 October 2014

My mother requested a 'sexy flannel nightie' for her birthday mid-November, so I have been spending many an hour trying to find the impossible. Along the way, I did find some pretty flannel nighties that might just do the trick. The Bay Canada has 50% off Jasmine Rose Scalloped Pintuck Sleep Gowns with Ribbon Trim. Originally $54, they are now on sale for $27 each. Choose from two different fabrics styles.

I have arbitrarily given these two designs names just to keep them separate. The paisley design is warranted as the nightgown has paisley prints on it in accenting colours. The flannel sleep gown comes in blue flannel with purple paisley print or purple flannel with blue paisley print. Sizing ranges from small through extra-large with all sizes are currently in stock.

I have dubbed the second design branch because it looks like a whole bunch of branches and tiny leaves are on the gown. There might even be berries on those branches, I cannot tell. I think this design is my favourite, and it comes in pink or blue. The blue is very different from the above blue. This one is more of a teal in my opinion (if the pictures are in any way accurate). Again, all sizes are currently in stock and this flannel nightie shares the same size range as the previous one.

Both styles have lace framing the neck and at the cuffs. There are also rows of lace and ribbon decorating the décolletage area for a lovely accent. While I would not exactly call these 'sexy' flannel nighties, they are quite pretty. Flannel serves a practical purpose: warmth. Living in and around Edmonton for most of my life, I am all too familiar with winter. Sometimes sexy can take a siesta in favour of warmth. Sure, I want to look nice while staying warm, but it is very hard to feel amorous when you start to turn blue.  These nighties look cute and they will keep you warm.

My mother's favourite colour currently is pink, so I might buy her that one. Purchase two and receive free shipping with your HBC Card (minimum of $49). For orders without an HBC Card, there is a $99 minimum for free shipping. However, shipping costs under that start at just $5.95.
