This is not a full sized dining table, rather it is a slim (18") table that can be used as a sideboard table in your dinning room. if you are single or just a couple then this table might work as a dinning table as it does measure 47" long. I think it would be ideal for a bachelor living in a small apartment. The table is 29" high - which is the same as my dining room table.
The slim profile makes this a versatile table. Use the table in your hallway or front entry for plants, gloves, hats, pictures, and more. As this is a 'console' table, put your TV on top of it while keeping a clean profile. I suggest using cable organizers so the area underneath the table does not look cluttered.
If you cannot pick up in store, then shipping is your only option. Shipping prices vary depending on where you live. To Vancouver Island, I was quoted $53.14 for Purolator Ground (cheapest option). Even with shipping, the table was still under $300.
