McDonalds Canada has lowered the price of their happy meals and they are now only $3.99. The nugget happy meal used to be $5.
Although I am a huge proponent of natural and clean eating, I've been known to be seen in the drive-thru at our local McDonald's. Life is busy and although I'd love to put a hot, healthy dinner on the table every night, it just does not happen. My kids love McDonalds, especially my oldest who loves the cheeseburgers. I also have to admit that the fries are to die for. I do like that it now comes with a yogurt and a smaller fry, so it is a best of both worlds situation. You can also choose apple slices if you are against fries. I also find the toys to actually be of good quality and they are always something trendy at the time, like a character in a movie that is now playing. McDonald's Happy Meal toys are great for keeping in the car to keep the kids busy on longer trips.
