I experienced the joy of using Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Sheer Shine Lipstick when I visited my friend for the weekend. She had an unopened replacement tube because she had just purchased one, and wanted me to try it out. I used a clean Q-tip to apply it so she could use it again; I don't like 'sharing' lipsticks because it's not sanitary. I was very impressed with the quality of this product! It felt moisturizing, not sticky, which I always dislike, and it had a soft, lightweight feel. The staying power was really good, too. I found that it wore off fairly evenly and stayed 'true to colour' without changing too much as time passed. The rouge unlimited sheer shine collection lipstick is available in 12 different shades, and sells for $36.
Now that Shu Uemura is offering a free limited edition KYE pouch makeup bag with a purchase of over $60, I think this will be a good time to purchase their gorgeous sheer shine lipstick along with something else to spend the required minimum. If you spend just $20 more, ($80 total) Shu Uemura will also include with your free limited edition KYE pouch, 4 samples: a deluxe sized sample of porefinest anti-shine cleansing oil, tsuya bouncy-fine cream sachet, tsuya youthful radiance generator essence (sachet), and lightbulb foundation.
I have my items in my cart ready to go through checkout, and I see that they offered me one more free deluxe sample. This is a great way to try out the products that Shu Uemura makes. It is a more expensive brand than some others, for sure, but the superior quality shines through and that makes it worth it. I often find that the higher end cosmetics tend to last longer in the tubes and containers, often many months. (Mascara is the only exception to that rule, you don't want to keep one for longer than 3 months, due to bacteria that builds up inside the tube after you use it the first time.) I don't have experience with the skin care products myself, but am sure looking forward to trying them out when I receive my samples!
Shipping is free on orders over $75, so if you order only over the $60 to receive the limited edition KYE pouch, otherwise, will cost $7.95
