I have to admit that I’m really not a big reader unless it’s reading to my grandchildren so I tend to look in the children’s section. Children love to have a story read to them and if they can learn something, that’s a huge bonus.
I love this title, I’m Boredthat was $19.99 and for a member price is now $14.43. I can’t begin to count the amount of times I’ve heard this phrase from a child. This is a cute little story of a little girl, who’s bored and meets a potato who believes children are boring. As you can guess, the little girl sets out to prove that she is anything but boring. The author is comedian Michael Ian Black along with illustrations by Debbie Ridpath Ohi.
I’ve obviously been missing out as I look at this ninth novel of Captain Underpants and the Terrifying Return of Tippy Tinkletrousers. Just reading the title makes me giggle. After reading a little about this, I think I have to find the first eight to get the whole story and my grandson will love it. This was $10.99 and is listed at member price for $9.50.
This book will surely spark a childs imagination. The Land of Stores: The Wishing Spell was $19.99 and is only $14.43 member price. This book combines our modern day world with the fairy tale realm and would be an awesome bedtime story book.
