Staples Canada: Nexus 7 Tablet (Refurb) For Only $175 & FREE Shipping!

27 March 2013

Staples Canada is bringing you one of the best Android devices out there for a pretty much unheard of price. Pick it up, it will not last long! It's the Nexus 7 (refurb) for only $175 with free shipping...

There are not a lot of things that Google Nexus Android and Apple iOS devices have in common. One thing that they do have in common is that you do not see sales very often. For iOS devices it's because Apple can pretty much charge whatever they want for their devices and make money off of them. For Google Nexus Android devices it's because Google isn't making any money off them. They make their money when you use the Internet and giving you a $200 tablet is a great way to get you on the Internet. Apple doesn't discount because they don't have to, Google doesn't discount because they can't sell the device for less than it costs to make, market, ship and support.

That's why this is such a great deal! The 16GB Nexus 7 is usually $209 plus shipping and, from what I can gather on Staples' website they usually sell the refurbished ones for $199.96. Right now though, Staples has increased its HUGE $9.04 discount to $34.04 off the new price. On top of that you get free shipping. So all-in-all where shipping, for me, is about $17 and taxes would be lower on this one, you're saving somewhere around $50 on the device. On top of that you're getting it at a store that likely has a location near you so if you have any problems, bring it to the store. No shipping it back to Google.

Just on an ending note, the Nexus 7 is one of the best Android tablets out there and the 7" f0rm factor is hugely popular right now. This tablet gets all the Android updates as soon as they are available and, for the price, doesn't have much real competition.

Not sure that's it's worth it as u LOSE16GB of memory and 9 mths of warranty. I'd rather spend $239 and get 16GB more of memory and 21 mths more of warranty with a gold credit card.

What do you think?
