Microsoft Office For Students

6 September 2010

If you weren't already aware, people in education can purchase Microsoft Office at discounted prices! Microsoft offer the full Office Professional Academic 2010 suite for only $89.

In this Microsoft office package, you will get:

  • Word 2010
  • OneNote 2010
  • Excel 2010
  • Publisher 2010
  • PowerPoint 2010
  • Access 2010
  • Outlook 2010

To know if you are eligible for this deal, you must have a valid email address from one of these educational establishments.

I use Microsoft Office 2007 on a daily basis, mostly Word and Excel. I find it useful and I do recommend the products for their ease of use. However, some people I know prefer Open Office, basically because it does the same thing, but it is free.

Thanks to Bargainmooser Frank for emailing me this deal!

Looks like this is just for a Windows version (not Mac), eh? Bummer.

You can still get the discount price if you order from apple.ca. Make sure you order from the education store and not the regular apple store. Here is the link http://www.apple.com/ca/education/store.
