Today only, get 25% off one item of your choice in store when you show H&M that you follow them on Twitter.

We rarely blog about H&M because they do not have an online presence and they do not often offer sizable in store promotions either. I ran across this one while on Twitter, and thought i would mention for all you H&M fans. This offer is for today only, so hurry down to your local H&M.

While you cannot buy from H&M online, you can view many of their products. If there were a store near me, I would probably buy the Long linen top in black. This top checks many boxes for me - surprisingly - as I usually avoid big stores like H&M. The top is made out of 100% organic linen, which is both a natural breathable fabric and organically farmed. I also love the drop hem in the back that is longer than the front. It is perfect for pairing with leggings. The 3/4 sleeves are also my favourite length. The shirt retails for $34.95, but in store, I could buy it for just $26.21.

They have a whole conscious - sustainable style category that I never knew existed! This section certainly elevates my opinion of H&M by many degrees. These Jersey tops with buttons are indispensable basics. Every wardrobe requires basic tops that match with everything. Choose from purple, white, or teal. They cost just $12.95 each, but one will only cost you $9.71 in store.

With a deal like this, some women like to maximize their savings. This navy blue Coat in a wool blend retails for $99, but will cost you $74.25 if it is your one item in store. While not organic or entirely natural, the 50% wool portion of this coat is recycled. The 50% 'other fibers' are unspecified - not a characteristic I particularly like.

I have been shopping in H&M a grand total of once. They have a location in West Edmonton Mall that I visited shortly after it opened. It was an absolute zoo in there and I remember there being lineups to get in and shop even days after it was open. They had to have security and a 'people limit' so they did not exceed fire regulation standards for shoppers. What a mad house. I did not find much!

There are H&M locations throughout most the provinces with the notable exclusion of Saskatchewan.
