The case is aluminum and very durable.  Like I said earlier, I got this exact case the last time WagJag Canada offered it and I can’t imagine using my iPad without it.  We use it as our regular case now as well because we have little ones and they like to play with our electronics.  With this keyboard/case, our iPad is well protected if they get a hold of it.
