    WagJag Canada: 40% Off xBox 360 & Kinect & 2 Games! (Now $199)

    WagJag Canada: 40% Off xBox 360 & Kinect & 2 Games! (Now $199)

With this superfantastic deal from WagJag, there is no reason not to own an xBox 360 anymore!

That intro was a lie. Maybe you just don’t want an xBox 360. I’m okay with that. I understand. Especially if you already have a PS3 or an xBox 360. For those of you who want one, this is a great chance to get one for super cheap. Also, Superfantastic is a word. Look it up. No, don’t. That was also a lie.

This is what the deal includes:

    • 4GB xBox 360
    • Kinect Sensor
    • Two games – Kinect Disneyland Adventures and Kinect Adventures
    • One controller

The games included aren’t the best things out there but they are fun enough to toy around with and to test the Kinect. The retail price of this package is $338 but you get it for only $199. You save $139! This deal is limited so if you’re gonna get one, get one now. Shipping is included in the price.

EB Games Canada: $25 Gift Card w/ Purchase Of Select xBox 360s + 30% Off xBox Accessories

Posted by on April 14, 2013 at 5:30 PM

EB Games Canada: $25 Gift Card w/ Purchase Of Select xBox 360s + 30% Off xBox Accessories

Late to the xBox game? Well, now is the time to pick one up! And if you’re picking one up anyways, you might as well get it at EB Games and get a $25 gift card with it!

They have two different xBox 360s sets available. One is the xBox 360 Elite 250GB and one is, from what I can tell, the same console but with two games. I feel like I must be missing something but it is what it is. Shipping will be around the $10 mark for the consoles and $5 for the accessories and games.

It’s hard to do an article about the xBox 360 because I feel like everyone who would buy one already knows about it. The xBox is just a great console with great games. You can’t say much else about it. It has awesome games, a great online experience and it can be used as the center of your living room’s media setup.

The main part of this deal, for me, is the $25 EB gift card. That in itself is enough to make it a good deal, but EB just won’t quit! They are also offering up to 30% off the xBox 360 headset, the xBox 360 controller or a twelve month xBox Live plan. You can even get a deal on Halo 4!

Since I don’t really have much to say about the xBox 360, how about you tell me about the xBox 360? Is this your first xBox 360 or have you had one for a while? Why do you love it? Is it the games? The media stuff? Maybe you just love Kinect! Whatever it is, let me know in the comments below!

    WagJag Canada: xBox 360 4GB w/ Kinect + 2 FREE Games Only $200 (Save $100)

WagJag Canada is bringing the serious gaming love with the great xBox 360 Kinect bundle!

If you are so inclined, you can actually use your Kinect to control other stuff. There are tons of projects out there, some easy DIY stuff, some more complex projects, that allow you to use the Kinect as an interface for other things. This video has some neat Kinect based projects. Even if you aren’t technologically inclined, people have written programs that let you do some neat stuff. You can just install them on your computer like any other program.

Amazon Canada: XBOX Street Fighter IV now $5.32 (Was $49.99)

Posted by on October 29, 2012 at 10:00 PM

Amazon Canada: XBOX Street Fighter IV now $5.32 (Was $49.99)

So pretty much you get a kick ass game, Street Fighter IV, for only $5.32. The original retail price was $49.99. You do the math, this deal is AWESOME!

Just to give you an idea of how CHEAP this deal is… EBgames has Street Fighter IV, new, for $24.98 and even the used version is $14.95.

So what can I say about a game I have never played? Well, it has a Metascore of 93/100, which is pretty darn high. Gamesrater gave this review:

It will be like playing “SFII” for the first time all over again, only with the years of love and experience you’ve since gained already built in. To long-term Street Fighter fans, everything old is new again. To the new players, we simply say welcome to the party. You’re going to have a hell of a good time.

So enjoy the good price and the great game!

Gamestop Canada: Nintendo Wii Bundle $99.99 + Power Sale

Posted by on July 10, 2011 at 5:00 PM

Gamestop Canada: Nintendo Wii Bundle $99.99 + Power Sale

Gamestop Canada is now offering the Nintendo Wii Bundle of a Nintendo Wii, Wii Sports, Wii Remote and Wii Nunchuk Controller for only $99.99 (save $80). Also they are having a Power Sale, which great discounts on a load of games for the Wii, xbox and PS3.

There are no Wii bundles as mentioned for $99.99 available online that I can find, so I am guessing this is an in store offer, I suggest you check out a store near you and get one fast if you want it.

The game deals are not bad: anywhere from $14.99 – $49.99. They have some good trade in deals as well for extra credit, and extra discounts on buying used consoles. The Power Sale goes through July 24th, 2011.

Dell: Xbox 360 4GB Console Bundle with Kinect and Kinectimals (Save $50)

Posted by on January 31, 2011 at 6:00 PM

Dell: Xbox 360 4GB Console Bundle with Kinect and Kinectimals (Save $50)

Dell is offering the VERY popular Xbox 360 bundle with a 4GB Xbox, Kinect, and the games Kinect Adventures and Kinectimals for only $299.99, $50 off the retail price of $349.99. This deal is on Jan 31st and Feb 1 only, so if you fancy some no controller game playing, check it out. Not bad deal really, nearly 15% off.

I watched one of these being played in Best Buy a couple months ago and it is really cool. You need a room big enough to do so, but it is just so cool how it detects your body and then whatever you do with your body shows up on the screen. You raise your arms.. so does the character on the screen, balance on one leg.. so does it.. etc. The ultimate in freedom. I think this is the way of gaming in the future.

Ebay Big Deals: Blue Dragon XBox Game

Posted by on October 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM

Ebay Big Deals: Blue Dragon XBox Game

One of ebay’s big deals worth mentioning is this Blue Dragon Xbox game. It is only $9.99 with free shipping! The game is brand new, sealed.. etc.

I did a price comparison with amazon.ca and it costs $34.99 on there, and the cheapest in the marketplace was $18 with shipping.

This game is RPG style and here is a little bio on it:

Famed game producer Hironobu Sakaguchi of Mistwalker game studio and developer Artoon present the highly anticipated Xbox 360-exclusive Blue Dragon. Featuring the character design of Akira Toriyama (who designed Dragon Ball Z) and music by Nobuo Uematsu (the composer for Final Fantasy), Blue Dragon is an epic RPG centered on a young boy named Shu and several of his friends. These unlikely heroes possess miraculous strength and magical power to control phantom shadows that mirror the actions of their masters.

Shu and company must use their shadows as weapons as they battle the evil forces and an antiquated human race of people who command a magical power thought to have perished long ago. Shu and friends must wield their skills to save their world from impending doom. Encountering various people on a planet with numerous ancient ruins, the characters and their shadows travel through a world full of mysteries and illusions, where the slightest touch can cause reactions of unparalleled magnitude.

Sounds cool. Wish it was for PS3!

    Xbox 360 Game: Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts $20 @ Amazon.ca!!!

    Xbox 360 Game: Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts $20 @ Amazon.ca!!!

Great deal for those of you with an Xbox 360! For a mere $20, you can order Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts for your Xbox 360 from Amazon Canada!!

If you collect games for the kids to pass away their idle hours, this would be perfect. It’s a nice little family game that doesn’t break the bank. IGN give this game a rating of 6.5/10. They call that “passable” but it’s not astonishing.

I’ve never played any in the Banjo Kazooie series – have you or your kids?

Remember to use the Jungleninja free shipping tool if you are trying to find a filler item to bring your order total up to the $39 free shipping threshold!
