Walmart Canada: Diablo III Reaper Of Souls For PC $29.94

Posted by on August 27, 2014 at 5:00 PM

Walmart Canada: Diablo III Reaper Of Souls For PC $29.94

If you’re a fan of Diablo or any of the highly rated games produced by Blizzard Entertainment, then this deal will certainly please you! Today’s deal for Bargainmoosers can be found at WalMart, and they’re offering Diablo III Reaper Of Souls for the PC for the low price of $29.94. This game normally retails for $44.99 at big box locations like Staples, so this deal will help you save approximately $15.05!

As a nineties/millennial kid (don’t worry, I was able to enjoy a small taste of the eighties as well), it was hard not to hear about the critically acclaimed PC game series known as Diablo. Usually uttered within the same sentence as other PC classics such as Myst, Doom, and Command And Conquer: Red Alert, the Diablo series began back in 1996, when CD-ROM drives in computers were actually considered a luxury. I didn’t end up getting a PC with a CD-ROM drive until 1998, when I was lucky enough to share a Pentium 1 computer with the rest of my family. I mean, listening to music while using your computer at the same time was a novel yet thoroughly enjoyable concept at the time!

Anyway, the Diablo series really exploded by the time its sequel, Diablo II was released in the year 2000. Everyone and their cousin seemed to be addicted to this game, and it was easy to see why – game review magazines and websites raved about it, and it even ended up having a slew of expansion packs released for several years.

Diablo III Reaper Of Souls normally retails for $44.99 at Best Buy and Future Shop, so you’re saving $15.05 in total. Not bad at all! It’s also getting some high praise from reviewers like Metacritic, which has the game ranked at 87 out of 100. Here’s a snippet of a review from Gameblog:

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls is a great experience and an excellent add – on to Diablo III. With the Adventure mode and Nephalem’s Rift, Blizzard erases almost perfectly every inherent problems of Hack’n Slash games. It’s actually quite difficult to find real defects in this add – on.

I always preferred the Diablo series over Blizzard’s other franchises such as World Of Warcraft and Starcraft. However, I still have to say that my favourite game of theirs is The Lost Vikings, an oldie but a goodie for the Super Nintendo. Regardless, this is one heck of a deal for Diablo fans, so grab it while you can!

Back to School Stationery Deals Roundup

Back to School Stationery Deals Roundup

I was shopping yesterday for some groceries and ended up finding some great back to school stationery deals that I thought I would share with you. This is the perfect time of year to get back to school supplies for your kids (or yourself maybe) because there are so many sales happening.

Here is a look at some of the awesome deals you will be able to get right now:

Walmart:

I have already found and bought some incredible deals from Walmart Canada for myself and my kids. Quite possibly the best deal I found was this Crayola coloured pencils that were $4.97 and are now on sale for just $0.97 each.  I ended up grabbing about 10 of them.  Why would I grab so many you ask?  Simple, grab bags for birthday parties for my son in a few months.  I always try to think ahead at what I can use these deals for.

Another awesome deal I found was this pack of Crayola crayons that were $2 each and are now on sale for just $0.25!  That is a crazy deal!  It is so good in fact I grabbed 20 of them!  I got enough for birthday parties, school, Christmas stockings and shoe boxes for Christmas for donations.

If you are looking for pens, you can get these Paper Mate Write Bros pack of pens for just $1 when the regular price was $1.97.  It is 10 pens in total. All of these deals will get free shipping so you wont have to leave your house to shop and you won’t have to pay for shipping.  It is a win/win situation.

Staples:

They have a lot of back to school deals on right now and they have actually made shopping online even easier.  They have categories for ages groups and the school supplies they will need.

You can get these BIC permanent markers that were $8.49 and are now just $5.49. They also have pencil boxes that were $2.96 on sale for just $1.92 each.

As for the cost of shipping, it will depend on how much your order is.  Staples offers free in-store pick up and free shipping on orders over $45. Orders under $45 are shipped at $15. If you are just grabbing some small supplies, I would suggest the in-store pick up.

Michaels:

For Michaels, the first place to start is actually on the Bargainmoose coupon forum.  You can click through and see all of the printable coupon offered each week.  You will want to shop in store for them and when you pair some of their deals with their coupons, you can save huge.  This week, their printable coupons are worth up to 65% off the regular prices.

What back to school deals have you been finding?

Walmart Canada: Athletic Works On Clearance (As Low As $3)

Walmart Canada: Athletic Works On Clearance (As Low As $3)

It looks like Walmart is clearing out a number of women’s, men’s and boys Athletic Works items with prices as low as $3.

Recently, I was commenting to my husband about how worn out my Lululemon pants have gotten. They are balled up and yes, chafed on the inner thigh area. I paid a steep $98 for those pants and really would have expected more from them. Meanwhile, I have Walmart brand pants for working out that I’ve had for years that still look perfect. And I probably paid less than $20 for them. I have a number of Athletic Works items and think they are great for myself, my boys and my husband.

Starting with the $3 items, this melange tee is just $3, with a regular price of $9. This is a self-cooling tee that will keep you dry. Another $3 item are these boy’s soccer shorts. Regularly $6, it looks like green is the only colour available.

Another notable item in this clearance sale is the woven running jacket for women. Available in four colours, with plenty of sizes still in stock, this jacket is now only $11, with a regular price of $16. I’m personally not a fan of the teal or turquoise as I don’t like the yellow accents with it, but the black and pink is classic.

The Eclipse tank is very cute. In pink or blue, this one is for those of us who are extra small or extra large (those people always get the best deals!). It was $16, now only $7.

For the men, this Canada Tee is now only $3, with a regular price of $5, but only available in red or white in larger sizes. I love the proud hosers styling.

Walmart always ships for free, which is very cool for this deal, where you might only spend $3, but it will still be delivered right to you for no additional cost.

Back to School Backpack Deals Roundup

Back to School Backpack Deals Roundup

I can’t believe that kids will be heading back to school in just a couple of short weeks. Instead of doing our regular weekly printable coupon roundup this week, I though I would let you know about all of the great back to school backpack deals. Backpacks are an obvious must for students young and old and they are something that usually only last about a year with all of the use they get.

Walmart Canada

One of the first places I check for back to school is always Walmart Canada, not only are they one stop shopping with supplies, lunch food, clothing and shoes, they are also very affordable.  Additionally, when you shop for items at Walmart Canada online, you will get free shipping as well.  You really cant beat that!

Right now, they have backpacks as low as just $5. How cute is this Disney Princess backpack for just $7? I also think this Athletic Works backpack priced at just $5 is a really incredible deal. It comes in a variety of colours to choose from.

Staples Canada

I was actually surprised to see how great the backpack deals are at Staples right now because they are rivaling all of their competitors with some great prices.  Their backpacks start at just $4.98 on sale which even beats Walmarts prices! Staples offers free in-store pick up and free shipping on orders over $45.

I love this High Sierra Impact backpack that was $20 and is now on sale for just $17.  As you are looking through the rest of the deals, you will want to be aware that some of the backpack deals at Staples Canada are only available in stores.

Sears Canada

Sears has a lot of backpacks on sale right now that would suit preschoolers all the way up to college students.  Make sure to check out the individual expiry dates because some of the deals are  only valid this week only.  Some of them are on sale up to September 4th 2014 so you will have to pay attention to the details.

One of my favourite backpack deals that I found at Sears Canada would have to be this Roots girls backpack.  It was $39.99 and it is now on sale until August 21st for just $23.99.

When you are looking at all of the backpack deals, keep in mind that most backpacks will only last your child the one year.  Even if they are great quality and last longer, they will most likely want a new one the next year anyways.  Make sure they are big enough for your kids school supplies, extra clothes and lunches and whatever else they may need to bring to school.

Walmart Canada: 6-Piece Dinnerware Set Only $10

Posted by on August 16, 2014 at 10:30 AM

Walmart Canada: 6 Piece Dinnerware Set Only $10

Sending someone away to school and don’t want to give them pieces of your dinnerware set? For only $10, you can get a six piece dinnerware set from Walmart and it will land right on your doorstep (or theirs) for free, too.

While this set isn’t on sale, I thought it was a fabulous price and made so much sense for someone going away to college or university. You really don’t want to have more than four plates or two bowls, or they’ll just end up piling up in your sink. Eating for one means that you don’t need a whole set of expensive dishes. You could even invite a friend over for dinner with this set. Heck, you could invite them for breakfast too if you like them that much.

The set comes in white or black. Most chefs will tell you to eat off of white plates as it displays the food best, but if you are eating ramen noodles again, black might be better. These bowls and plates are also highly indestructible. They won’t wear, chip or break, which is also important, since you only have two.

You’ll get two cereal bowls, two dinner plates and two side plates. They are okay in the dishwasher or the microwave too, so don’t worry about reheating that chinese takeout from last night.

If you want the whole set, you can get it for not much more. I found this Mainstays Ivory Square 16-piece dinnerware set for only $17.94, which is on sale from the regular price of $22.97.

Don’t forget about the flatware, like this 48-piece Mainstay set with organizer for only $9.94, with a regular price of $14.97.

Walmart Canada: 84% Off Boy’s Dressy Suits – Now $3

Posted by on August 8, 2014 at 7:30 PM

Walmart Canada: 84% Off Boys Dressy Suits Now $3

Too cute! While supplies last, you can get boy’s dressy suits on clearance for $3 each instead of their regular price of $18. That’s an 84% discount!

Each suit comes with dress pants, a shirt, a vest and either a bow tie or neck tie. There are three different dressy suits to choose from:

Plus, they are nearly all available in every size with the exception of the last one, which is sold out in the 18/24m size. Other than that, you can get sizes from newborn all the way up to 24 months. If I had a little boy, I would totally get every size in every suit, simply because you never know when the occasion might call for it. Even if the occasion doesn’t call for it, you could still dress up your baby in these adorable combinations. The bow tie one in particular would definitely look too cute for words on any regular day.

For those of you getting married or planning to attend a wedding soon with a little boy in tow, then the black one would definitely be a great pick and a budget-friendly one at that. Your little one is sure to get loads of attention too! In fact, although Walmart.ca’s website doesn’t have any reviews for either ones of these outfits, I did find a review on a very similar suit on Walmart.com:

It is hard to find stylish dressy attire for little boys. I was thrilled when I saw this outfit.

These dressy suits are made by the brand George, which is definitely a brand I like and have been buying clothes from for my baby girl. Unfortunately the material consistency isn’t listed, but my guess would be that these suits are 100% cotton as clothes by George typically are. Another major advantage is that you can use the pieces separately as well. For instance, have your little guy wear just the dress shirt with a pair of jeans one day and as a suit the next day.

Just for the heck of it, I calculated how much it would cost to get each suit in every available size without the discount and the total came all the way up to $252. With the discount, you would be looking at just $42 for a total of 14 suits. How amazing is that?

Even better is that Walmart offers free shipping, even if you get just one suit!

Walmart Canada: LEXAR Micro SDHC Class 10 32GB Only $13.98

Posted by on August 7, 2014 at 6:00 PM

Walmart Canada: LEXAR Micro SDHC Class 10 32GB Only $13.98

Micro SDHC cards are versatile memory storage devices. Pick up this Lexar Mobile Micro SDHC Class 10 32GB High Speed Memory Card on sale for only $13.98 at Walmart Canada.

We price compared with a few other retailers to ensure that you are getting the best deal on this SD card. I did find this exact card on both Future Shop and Best Buy for $27.95, but both come with the card reader so it is not a fair comparison. The Walmart version does not come with the card reader or with the adapter. Adapters are easy to come by. If you have another microSD card, chances are you can use its adapter to read this card as well.

Even if we were to compare with the cheapest SD cards of the same size and speed, Walmart’s price is the best. Future Shop Canada’s has a RetailPlus 32GB Class 10 microSD Card priced at $19.99. It is their cheapest 32GB, class 10 card. Amazon Canada has many cards of equal size and speed to choose from; however, they are all priced around $20 for the unknown brands. Even considering that the Walmart version does not come with the card reader, it is essentially 50% off the price of the cards at Future Shop and Best Buy and $6 cheaper than the cheapest other cards of the same quality out there. Thus, we agree that this is a good deal.

I sent this deal off to my husband because he recently bought himself a Dell Venue 8″ tablet. Anyone who is familiar with the tablet knows that it comes with 16 GB of built in memory and the ability to expand the memory if you so choose via a microSD slot. The microSD slot can hold up to a 32GB SDHC card, and I highly recommend getting a Class 10 if you are going to be using it on a tablet. Give the price that some companies charge for getting a tablet with more memory, $14 is peanuts to pay to expand his tablet memory from 16GB out to 48GB.

These microSD cards can also be used in cell phones and other electronics. Some cameras use a microSD card, and others can use a microSD card as long as you have the adapter, which makes it take the physical form of a full size SD card.

Receive free shipping on all orders at Walmart Canada.

Walmart.ca: Gordon Ramsay Everyday Digital 6 Slice Toaster Oven Only $59 (was $99.98)

Posted by on August 6, 2014 at 10:00 AM

Walmart.ca: Gordon Ramsay Everyday Digital 6 Slice Toaster Oven Only $59 (was $99.98)

Tired of having to make toast 2 or even 4 slices at a time?  Here’s a great deal to help you out:  The Gordon Ramsay Everyday Digital 6 Slice Toaster Oven was $99.98 and is now only $59 at Walmart.ca!

There are 4 people in my house, and usually the adults eat 2 slices of toast.  While not a huge deal, this means that even with my 4 slice toaster, I am making toast in batches.  It is one of those little things that threatens to send me over the edge on some particularly hectic mornings.  Problem solved with the Gordon Ramsay Everyday Digital 6 Slice Toaster Oven, which can happily handle 6 slices at a time.

This toaster oven can also accommodate a 12” pizza!  I appreciate this feature quite a lot as I am very conscious of my hydro consumption.  I would much rather use a little toaster oven to make a pizza than to use my regular oven, not to mention how in the summer it would heat up my house less, giving my air conditioner a little break.

Gordon Ramsay’s toaster oven disappointingly won’t yell or curse at you, but it does have settings to toast, bake, broil, defrost and lock.  There are 2 rack locations so you can choose the best for your application, and it comes with a bake rack, broil pan, and slide out crumb tray to keep all those little messes under control.

It looks like there is a little learning curve to using this oven, but I think hanging on to the user manual should help with that.  Here’s what one reviewer had to say:

I am loving my Gordon Ramsay digital oven.  It took a bit of practice to figure out the settings, and that it is set in Fahrenheit.  I wish you had the option to change that to Celsius.  I find the fan quiet, which is nice compared to some others.  So far it has worked great!

Price Comparison

As far as price comparing is concerned, I couldn’t find another Canadian location that even retails this item.  For comparison sake, Amazon.com has it for $149.59 and Sears.com sells it for $212.42.

Shipping

No worries here, Walmart.ca offers FREE shipping to your home!

Walmart Canada: 3-in-1 H2O Mop Only $48 (Was $119)

Posted by on August 4, 2014 at 8:00 PM

Walmart Canada: 3 in 1 H2O Mop Only $48 (Was $119)

I found a fantastic deal on at Walmart on the 3 in 1 H2O mop ultra. It was $119, now only $48. It will also ship for free to your home.

I actually have this mop and although some reviewers were not fond of it, I found it worked great. I also did not get it for this price and I think I paid around $100 for this mop! Less than $50 for a steam mop is a very good price and this might make a nice gift for a student going away to college or university or getting their own place for the first time. I know when I was in my 20s, washing my floors was the last thing on my list after studying and partying, so why not make it easy for them to wipe up all the booze that will inevitably be spilled on the floors?

Not just a steam mop, the H2O mop can also be converted into a carpet steamer. So, if you get spills or dirt on those carpets, they can easily be steamed away with your steam mop. You could also use it to clean and deodorize fabric. That stinky chair your aunt gave you for your first place? Use this baby on it to get out some of that musty smell and you’ve got yourself a nice little seat for your studio apartment.

One of the cons that the reviewers reported included that there wasn’t a hook at the bottom to wrap the cord around to put it away. This would be annoying, unless you are like me and really only drape the cord around anyway. You can still wrap it around the top hook, it just wouldn’t have a tight fit like you’d seen on other appliances like this. Another is that it can clog and my mom told me that using distilled water can prevent your steam mop from getting clogged. My mom is very smart about these things, so I’d totally listen if I were you.

Another is that the cloth gets dirty very quickly when mopping. Well, that will all depend on how dirty your floor is. I wouldn’t think it is a bad thing that the cloth gets dirty, as that tells me the mop is doing its job. If you need to change pads while mopping your floors, you might want to think about mopping a little more often.

Walmart Canada: $20 Off Sealy SweetPea 2-In-1 Maternity & Nursing Pillow – Now $15

Posted by on August 3, 2014 at 3:30 PM

Walmart Canada: $20 Off Sealy SweetPea 2 In 1 Maternity & Nursing Pillow Now $15

Walmart has a great deal on a nursing and maternity pillow! For a limited time, you can get the Sealy SweetPea 2-in-1 maternity and nursing pillow on clearance for just $15. It was originally priced at $34.97.

I have a very similar pillow to the Sealy but it’s the Jolly Jumper Boomerang nursing cushion and I actually paid $59.99 for it. I was pretty desperate for one at the time, and didn’t do much price comparing. In hindsight, I would have definitely preferred to get the Sealy because not only is it cheaper, but it also looks very similar. It would also seem that people tend to have a love hate relationship with this pillow. While it has great reviews like this one:

This pillow is a VERY comfortable pillow. I am a 5″4 thin woman and this pillow technically is too big for me but it’s flexible so you can wrap it right around you no matter what size you are. I sleep with it and use it for everything including back support.

…there are also a couple of negative ones stating that it’s not as comfortable as they would have liked, or not as long as on the picture. In either case, for $15, I’m rather certain it will get the job done, especially if you don’t plan on using it for long. For nursing, curved pillows like this one are definitely the best as they make it that much easier to have the baby nursing while you have your hands free to do something else, like play Candy Crush on your phone! Walmart Canada: $20 Off Sealy SweetPea 2 In 1 Maternity & Nursing Pillow Now $15

Price Comparison

Although there are only a couple left, I found this same pillow at Amazon for as high as $67! Toys R Us doesn’t have this one and doesn’t even have any in stock right now that are both maternity and nursing. They have the Babies R Us nursing pillow for $29.99 and the Leachco Snoogle total body pillow for $69.99. From personal experience, I can tell you that it’s definitely worth having a pillow that can be used for nursing after pregnancy because unless you have a lot of storage space, you simply won’t know where to store your old maternity pillow for the next time you get pregnant and if you don’t plan on having any more children, then you will have no use for it after labour.

Even better is that shipping is absolutely free as well! You won’t have to worry about having to add anything else to your order to reach any ridiculous shipping minimum.

Bikini Bits From Only $3 @ Walmart.ca & Free Shipping!

Bikini Bits From Only $3 @ Walmart.ca & Free Shipping!

The summer is creeping onwards, but I know that some of you have yet to hit the beach or go on vacation. If you’re a female looking for some swimwear for the occasion, you might want to check out these clearance bikini prices online at Walmart Canada. They have pieces starting at only $3 each. Technically you could pick up a whole bikini set for $6… and they all come with free shipping too.

The above link should show you the items priced from low to high – if not, just hit the sort by “price,” then you can see everything available in the ladies clearance swimwear range. There are 92 items to choose from!

The bikini top that I have pictured in the image above is this Maple Leaf Triangle Bikini Top which is priced at $5.94. Are you canuck enough to wear this on the beach? If so, you’ll probably want the matching maple leaf bikini bottoms, also $5.94.

Examples of tops:

Examples of bottoms:

Examples of matching sets:

  • Solid Side Tie Bikini Bottom & top – $3 each – $6 total
  • Solid Bandeau Bikini Top & tie-side bottom – $3 each – $6 total
  • I Love Canada Bandeau Top & bottom – $5.94 each – $11.88 total

Remember, free shipping on everything above!

I’ve bought cheap bikini separates like this in the past and their lifespans have been both short and long. Some have fallen apart within a few months. But I’ve also got some cheap bikinis which have lasted for many years. I like purchasing neutral sets that can mix and match, such as a plain black set of bikini panties which can be paired up with any colour of bikini top.

When I was in Spain last month, that’s exactly what I did. I brought 3 bikini tops and one set of black bottoms. I just changed the various tops if I was swimming, or heading out for the evening; with the bikini usually under my beach dress or sarong. It was very handy!

Have you had your vacation yet? Need any bikinis?

Walmart.ca: Back to School Supplies from Less Than $1 & Free Shipping

Walmart.ca: Back to School Supplies from Less Than $1 & Free Shipping

I just got an email from Walmart which mentioned some back-to-school offers starting at only $1. Upon checking out the site, I see that some items are actually under the $1 mark, so I thought I’d do a blog post for those of you which are currently looking to get ready for that time of year.

When you click through to the above page, click “price” and you will be able to sort the items from lowest to highest price, showing you the cheapest bargains at the top of the page. There are 1352 items to choose from, I don’t think you’re going to be able to view all of them! If you spot anything at a particularly good price, please drop us a comment below and share the information with your fellow Bargainmoosers.

I’m going to have a quick scan through and see if I can highlight a few back-to-school bargains for you:

Remember, all the above come with free shipping to your home. Sit there in comfort, order your back-to-school supplies, relax and wait as they’re shipped to your door with the minimum of fuss.

While you’re over on the Walmart pages, check out their weekend web crashers too, there are a few bargains to be seen.

In Heather’s recent money-saving article about back-to-school supplies, “What to buy & when” she wrote about when to stock up on school supplies. This sale from Walmart is exactly the right time to buy – check it out and see if there’s anything there that you need.

My daughter is starting grade one this year, it’s so exciting! She doesn’t really need a ton of this type of back-to-school supplies. Anything she does need, we’ve already got it in the stationery box. She only needs to bring her lunch bag, a pencil case and a few pencils, she will be all set. I know that year on year I’m going to need to purchase ever-increasing amounts of school supplies… countless pencils, pens, and erasers… eventually moving on to things like protractors, compasses and more complicated equipment. I’m looking forward to it!

Walmart Canada: Bettona 10-Piece Sling Dining Set Now $200 (Was $498)

Posted by on August 1, 2014 at 1:00 PM

Walmart Canada: Bettona 10 Piece Sling Dining Set Now $200 (Was $498)

Walmart Canada has launched a plethora of web crasher deals for the long weekend. While you may know this weekend by one of many names like BC Day, Saskatchewan Day, Heritage Day, or civic holiday, it does mean you can save a little extra on things you may have been eying up. Pick up the Hometrends Bettona ten piece Patio Set for only $200 at Walmart, saving yourself nearly $300 off the original price of $498.

This deal is pretty awesome. You are getting a full ten-piece set for only $200. That works out to only $20 apiece, which is unheard of for patio furniture. The set comes with:

  • Six chairs
  • One round dining table with smoked glass tabletop
  • One side table with matching smoked glass tabletop
  • Two ottomans

All the smoked glass is tempered for safety. The chairs are made of weather-proof, PVC-coated polyester sling fabric for comfort and durability. The frame is black and made of powder-coated steel so it is rust resistant. However, if you get scratches in the powder coating, it may rust as the outer shell has been penetrated. The fabric itself is a beige/grey colour, which fits in with most decor. I am not sure back yards even have a decor, but this set is simple enough to not compete with anything else you might have going on.

The chairs have a three-position back (adjustable!) so you can use them to sit up at the table, lean back a bit, or recline and stick your feet up. From the upright position, the chair backs recline 18.5cm in total. With six chairs, you can have a couple friends over without having to drag out your kitchen chairs for people to sit on.

There are many positive reviews of this set on Walmart.ca with most of those reviews coming from customers who bought this set for a higher price. This customer said:

Love it, best 300 bucks I ever spent, and it was shipped on time

Well, now this set can be the best $200 you ever spent. With free shipping to your door on such a large set, you most certainly won’t be regretting this deal.

As this is a web crasher deal, I do not expect it to last very long. Thus, you should order soon before it is no longer available and you have ‘sold out’ regret. I have experienced that a few times myself.

Walmart Canada: Sesame Street Flying Super Grover – Just $5 (EXPIRED)

Posted by on July 30, 2014 at 9:00 PM

Walmart Canada: Sesame Street Flying Super Grover Just $5 (EXPIRED)Swoooooosh! Sesame Street Flying Super Grover 2.0 is on clearance for just $5 at Walmart! It was originally priced at $15, which puts its reduced price at a 67% discount.

UPDATE on the 31st JULY – Out of stock!

Even though the first episode of Sesame Street aired as long ago as 1969, this show has turned into a world-wide sensation with millions of kids around the world still playing with toys inspired by the show. Designed to be picked up and flown around, the cool part about this version of Grover is that he raises his arms depending on the direction he’s flying in. See him in action at Time To Play’s review on YouTube.

On top of a number of catch phrases and Grover letting kids know the direction he’s going, Grover can also sing a song, for which lyrics are included in the box. Plus, it already comes with the two AA batteries needed, so you won’t have to worry about those. Keep in mind that although he looks plushie on the picture, Grover 2.0 is actually a hard toy but don’t worry as according to the many reviews, he can withstand just about any emergency crash landing (i.e. drops and throws at the mercy of little hands).

Although there are no reviews of this toys on Walmart’s site, there are, however, 80 reviews on Amazon with a total consensus of 4½ star out of 5 with positive reviews like the following:

My 3 year old and 1 year both LOVE Sesame Street, so this toy was a HUGE hit! Grover stands up by himself and talks not only when you push his buttons, but he makes a fun flying sound when you raise his arm above his head or swoop him around like he’s flying.

Speaking of which, Grover 2.0 is actually as high as $27.90 on Amazon, which definitely makes this deal even sweeter, especially when you think about how expensive toys are getting nowadays. My little one is still too young to hold anything properly but even though she’s a girl, I’m definitely considering taking advantage of this deal while I still can as I’m sure she will love all the sound effects when she is just a little bit older!

Even though it’s only $5, you also won’t have to worry about any pesky shipping fees if you get this toy on its own as Walmart always offers free shipping with no minimum spend!
