Tassimo T65 Single Cup Home Brewing System Now $58.88 + Free Shipping @ Walmart Canada

Posted by on June 30, 2015 at 6:15 PM

Tassimo T65 Single Cup Home Brewing System Now $58.88 + Free Shipping @ Walmart Canada

Everyone wants fresh coffee right at the touch of a button, but nobody wants to pay full price for one of the home brewing machines. You may be debating between a Keurig or a Tassimo machine, but the fact that this Tassimo T65 is on sale for just $58.88 may aim your decision in one direction – Tassimo. Walmart Canada last had this Tassimo Single Cup Home Brewing System on sale for $78.88, but now it is priced even lower. Not to mention that this is the best price around and you’ll get free shipping.

While the discounts may appear small at first glance on Walmart.ca, you’ll notice that this is the absolute lowest price around. Walmart.ca had this Tassimo T65 priced at $78.88 prior to putting this brewer on rollback sale, and now you can snag it for $58.88. Other Canadian retailers seem to be selling this Tassimo Single Cup Home Brewing System for about double that price. See what I mean?

Take a look at what other Canadian retailers are selling the Tassimo T65 for:

This compact home brewing unit will make your favourite beverage perfectly every time, without taking up too much counter space. It will look great in your kitchen or in the office. Just put your cup on the appropriate tray, insert your desired T-Disc and press the brew button. If you need to add more coffee to your cup, just press the plus button until you are content with your morning fuel.

I personally own a Tassimo. My complaint? No variety. I love hot chocolate and there are probably only 2 or 3 different types of hot chocolate available easily for the Tassimo Brewer. There are lots of teas, coffees and lattes available – but still not quite the selection that the Keurig offers. Target had the best variety for the Tassimo machine, and now they are gone. I do miss Target Tassimo T65 Single Cup Home Brewing System Now $58.88 + Free Shipping @ Walmart Canada

Walmart.ca banished their free shipping with no minimum purchase, but you don’t have to worry about that right now. Walmart Canada offers free shipping on orders over $50 (unless they are too large), and fortunately enough this item will ship directly to your home for free. If for whatever reason you don’t qualify for that option, you can have the brewer sent to your local Canada Post office for free as well.

Little Tikes Explorer Wagon with Umbrella Only $99 @ Walmart.ca

Posted by on June 30, 2015 at 1:30 PM

Little Tikes Explorer Wagon with Umbrella Only $99 @ Walmart.ca

Walmart Canada is brimming with deals for little ones wanting to play outside. This Little Tikes Explorer Wagon with Umbrella is on sale for just $99 with free shipping at Walmart Canada.

Walmart Canada does not give the original price, but it is much higher than the current sale price. I found the same explorer wagon and umbrella combo for $159.99 @ Amazon Canada. That is sold directly from them, not from a secondary seller. Elsewhere in Canada, this wagon and umbrella are hard to find. I ended up price comparing with several US stores to ensure this was a good deal.

Little Tikes (US) sells their own wagon and umbrella combo for $129.99 USD. I did find the wagon at BJs.com for $110.99 USD but that was the cheapest I could even find it in the USA. If you consider our current exchange rate, the price at Little Tikes itself is even a bit over the Amazon Canada price as it equals $162.19 CAN today.

This set is everything I dreamed of as a kid. My brother had a red wagon that I rode around whenever I had the chance, but I could never use it without him as it was hid (and he made sure I knew it). I prefer the plastic frame as it is cooler in hot weather (metal wagons get burning hot) and the sides are great for packing things, and kids, around in.

One reviewer said:

This is so wonderful for outdoor, park, picnics and beach. You can load your kids and a few bags and on your way you go. The umbrella is a huge bonus!

I have to agree, that umbrella is a very nice addition as it can shade your kids on a hot day and can also shade any goodies you may be carrying that are heat sensitive. Another reviewer said:

My 1 yr old liked this wagon very much and I like the fact that there’s shade. Roomy enough for 2!

There are some other really great deals for children during the Canada Day celebrations. This Little Tikes Outdoor Inflatables Slam ‘n’ Curve Slide is on sale for $298. A quick price comparison shows this upwards of $399 elsewhere. I prefer the Little Tikes Jump ‘n Slide Bouncer for $229. This is at least $20 cheaper than the sale price anywhere else.

FREE General Mills coupon @ Walmart Canada (EXPIRED)

Posted by on June 29, 2015 at 3:26 PM

FREE General Mills coupon @ Walmart Canada (EXPIRED)

Walmart Canada’s coupon section has a sweet coupon for a FREE General Mills product. Try out the new chocolate Lucky Charms and more with this coupon.

This coupon will be mailed to you, thus you need to enter your address to take advantage of it. These coupons usually go like hot cakes, thus I suggest you pick yours up as soon as you see this deal. On my screen, the coupon I am referring to is on the last row to the far left.

FREE General Mills coupon @ Walmart Canada (EXPIRED)

Like the other FREE product coupons we have seen lately, this one is only valid for redemption upon one day: August 7th, 2015. I find these redemption restrictions somewhat annoying but the lack of product restrictions makes up for it.

This coupon is designed to introduce you to some new General Mills products – thus you can use it on cereal, snack bars, and more. The deal finder in me would find the most expensive product from the choices and use it on that. The child in me just wants Chocolate Lucky Charms! It has actually been ages since I have ate any cereal besides the occasional granola or muesli. Usually I am a berry and yogurt girl myself.

Save.ca had the same type of coupon a few weeks ago but that coupon and this one have different redemption days. Thus you can essentially get ‘two’ if these coupons and redeem them on the appropriate days. I assume that this coupon from Walmart has the same value as the previous one from Save.ca: $5.49.

It also does not matter where you redeem this coupon. I will probably end up at Superstore because they usually have the best prices on groceries. While price does not matter for this coupon, I will not be making a special trip for it. i will just use the coupon when I do my regular grocery shopping.

Hey Moosers, what new General Mills products are you most looking forward to trying out? Any recommendations?

NHL Cushions & Throws Just $5 + FS On $50 @ Walmart.ca

Posted by on June 26, 2015 at 2:30 PM

NHL Cushions & Throws Just $5 + FS On $50 @ Walmart.ca

We all have that die-hard NHL fan in our family. Why not surprise them with an appropriate pillow or throw for just $5? Walmart Canada has select NHL throws and cushions on clearance sale for just $5, which is an excellent price if you ask me.

My Dad loves the Toronto Maple Leafs (I know, I know). They have the NHL Ultimate Fan Pillow with the Toronto Maple Leaf logo for just $5. This adorable pillow was originally $20, and would be the perfect item to have on his couch during their games. It is shaped like the foam fingers which is pretty cool. They also have a similar Toronto Maple Leafs NHL Team Jersey Cushion, which is of course shaped like the jersey they wear. I would put one of these at each end of his couch, with the Toronto Maple Leafs NHL Classique Fan Throw in the middle for warmth and something to cozy up to. The throw was originally $15 and is now just $5.

They have these items for other popular teams as well. The teams available are:

  • Vancouver Canucks
  • Montreal Canadiens
  • Boston Bruins
  • Edmonton Oilers
  • Pittsburgh Penguins
  • and more
  • Multi-Team

The throw measures 50″ x 60″, so by no means is this a blanket to put on your bed. But it is a great couch blanket to keep your legs and feet warm while watching the hockey game. The jersey shaped cushion is about 17″ x 17″, which is a great size for this hockey memorabilia. The foam finger novelty cushion is a bit larger at 25″ x 17″. Here are a couple of the Walmart.ca customer reviews:

The NHL Cushion:

This pillow will look great in my husband’s man cave television room. We already have an assortment of Canadians items to decorate the space but this pillow is cute and priced right.

The NHL Throw:

I bought this throw as a gift and the recipient was quite happy about it. It has a nice soft feel to it and it is quite big for a throw. Guests mentioned how expensive it looked and thought I had bought it at an NHL store.

Too bad Fathers Day has already passed, these would be perfect gifts. Walmart.ca also has other NHL items on clearance sale. Their hats, tukes and gloves are on clearance for just $8. Walmart Canada offers free shipping on all orders over $50, but to get that you would have to buy 10 of these items. Hopefully you live in an area that offers the free Grab & Go lockers. I am in the Greater Toronto Area and that is an option for me. You can also opt to have your purchase delivered to your local Canada Post for free if you prefer.

LEGO Classic Creative Building Set Now only $28 @ Walmart.ca

Posted by on June 26, 2015 at 7:00 AM

LEGO Classic Creative Building Set Now only $28 @ Walmart.ca

I love all of the LEGO kits, but I secretly have the most fun when the kiddo and I create our own projects with our imagination. Right now, you can pick up the Lego Classic Creative Building Set now for only $28.

Jumpstart your kid’s creativity by adding a huge set of basic pieces into your kids Lego collection. This large kit includes 580 pieces and should provide hours of fun. Not only will you find the basic bricks in 37 different colours inside, this kit also includes some fun items such as doors, eyes and wheels. Wheels are one of my favourite pieces, I love making Lego cars and other vehicles that can really move. We load up our little 2” character statues on our Lego cars, and Elmo and Tinkerbell race all the time at our house.

Price Comparison

I found a very similar box of Legos available at Chapters Indigo for $59.95. It has all of the same pieces, but also includes a plastic case. Toys R Us Canada has a very similar creative building set with the same number of pieces for $59.99, also including a plastic case. Amazon Canada is carrying the same set including the box for $59.95. Lego Canada has a smaller box available that includes only 484 pieces for $34.99. The next larger box has 790 pieces for $59.99.

Shipping

Shipping at Walmart is cheap, only $4.97 for your order. You could also receive free shipping if your order is a minimum of $50. That minimum for free shipping is easy to achieve if you buy two of these boxes. If you only need one for your kiddo, stow one away for your next birthday party you are invited to. You also have the option to send these Legos to any Canada Post location for free shipping. If you are in Ontario, you also have the option to stow this in the free lockers at Walmart.ca for free shipping.

A little bird told me these sets are a special item that will only be around for a limited amount of time. It may seem early for Christmas gifts now, but these kits do stow away easily for holiday gifts. I have a birthday party my daughter is going to in a few weekends and I think this will be our present.

Walmart Canada: Up to 50% Off Patio Furniture

Posted by on June 21, 2015 at 5:30 PM

Walmart Canada: Up to 50% Off Patio Furniture

Walmart Canada is hosting a patio clearance sale with up to 50% off tables, benches, seating, fireplaces, and more.

This hometrends 7-Piece Wicker Dining Set is one of the best deals for a patio dining set that will accommodate larger families or guests. The set includes six wicker chairs with cushions and a glass-top table.  The cushions are a burgundy-red and fit perfectly on each wicker seat for extra comfort. The entire set, apart from the cushions, is weatherproof. This set is also designed to be UV, weather, and colour fast fade resistant. Originally $798, the seven-piece set is on sale for $400.

Next, this Bond Petra Outdoor Gas Fire Pit is the excellent substitute to a real fireplace. Many cities have a fire ban on during the summer months when the ground is so dry. I know that Alberta and British Columbia have not got the rain they should have so far this year. Rather than BBQ-ing without a fire, purchase this gas fire pit instead. Originally $298, the fire pit is now on sale for $150. It has a natural stone finish, and is designed to look like a camp style fire pit. With 50,000 BTU output, this fire will keep you toasty warm.

This hometrends Rushreed Faux Wood Top Patio Side Table will give you a place to rest your drink when you are not around the patio dining table. Regularly $54 each, these side tables are now on sale for $25.

The GREY Round Hand Made Terrazzo Garden Burner will make an excellent accent for your dining room or side table. They will also provide extra light when night falls and you are having fun in the backyard. Originally $29.96, the burners are now on sale for $14.99 each. These are actually hefty little burners made out of rock as they weigh in around 11 lbs fully assembled.

If you only need a small dining set, then purchase the hometrends 5-Piece Dining Set With Padded Sling Chairs on sale from $534 down to $275. The set includes four chairs and a tiled mosaic table. One reviewer said:

The patio set is beautiful although it took 3 hours with 2 people to put together.  The table top is quite heavy so won’t get knocked over by the wind, hopefully.  Chairs took the longest to put together.

Enjoy free shipping on all orders of $50 or more except to remote locations.

Walmart Canada: Xbox One Halo Masterchief Collection & Bonus Game Was $419 | Now $349

Posted by on June 18, 2015 at 4:30 PM

Walmart Canada: Xbox One Halo Masterchief Collection & Bonus Game Was $419 | Now $349

Walmart Canada has bundled together the Xbox One Halo Masterchief Collection with three different games! Each bundle would cost you $418.98, but they are discounted to $349.01 with free shipping!

There are three bundles to choose from in this Father’s Day promotion. These deals are pretty hot as you receive the Xbox One Halo: Master Chief Collection edition, which includes The Master Chief’s entire story with Halo Combat Evolved: Anniversary, newly remastered Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4. Then you get a free game (three different choices).

I price compared with Amazon Canada, which always tends to be Walmart’s biggest competitor. To buy the console and each game at Amazon Canada would cost:

  • Xbox One Halo Masterchief & Mortal Kombat X | $349 + $65.81 = $414.81
  • Xbox One Halo Masterchief &  The Witcher 3 | $349 + $67.78 = $416.78
  • Xbox One Halo Masterchief & Batman Arkham Night | $349 + $69 = $418

As the Xbox One Halo: Masterchief edition retails for $349 alone at either Amazon Canada or Walmart Canada, you are essentially receiving the additional game for free.

The only thing left to decide is what game you are going to pick from the collection. If you are buying an Xbox One, then you most likely do not own any of these games for that console yet either. I am torn between Mortal Kombat X and Batman Arkham Night. My geek side is all “let’s go Batman” but I remember playing Mortal Kombat type games in the arcade when I was younger – they were so much fun. I think I would prefer Mortal Kombat X myself.

I checked out other websites but could not find a deal like this anywhere else. For your money, this is about the cheapest way to pick up the new Xbox One console and a few games at the same time. I think I have seen slightly cheaper refurbished consoles, but not by much. This bundle has the added bonus of including the hard-copy edition of the game you choose (Batman, Witcher, or Mortal Combat) instead of just a redemption code.

Walmart Canada: Free WiiU Game ($45 Value) with Wii U Purchase

Posted by on June 12, 2015 at 3:30 PM

Walmart Canada: Free WiiU Game ($45 Value) with Wii U Purchase

Purchase the Super Mario 3D World Deluxe Wii U Set at Walmart Canada for $299 and receive one game (from two choices) for free. Each game is valued at $45, thus the games are pretty solid value for a freebie.

This bundle includes Black Wii U Console, Black Wii U GamePad Controller, Super Mario 3D World, Nintendoland U game, HDMI Cable, Wii U GamePad Cradle & Stand, Wii U Console Stand, and more. Thus, this bundle already comes with two games and now you will receive a third bonus game. Choose from the following two games:

This offer was mentioned in their flyer but there appears to be little sign of it advertised online. However, I tested the deal and it works just fine. You can see my screenshot below:

Walmart Canada: Free WiiU Game ($45 Value) with Wii U Purchase

You can see that the game is discounted automatically when you go to checkout. I actually added the game first and the console next – it doesn’t seem to matter in what order you add the items to your cart.

This is a pretty solid offer. If I purchased a portable gaming console again, then I would pick up WiiU. The games they make for this console are pretty awesome and I have been dying to play Mario again for some time. It was the first game I ever played (except for solitaire on the computer) and really is a riot.

I price compared the console to ensure that you are receiving a fair price. The deluxe console package itself costs $299.99 @ Toys R Us Canada, $299 @ Chapters Indigo Canada, $299.99 @ Best Buy Canada, $359.99 @ Costco Canada, and $299 @ Amazon Canada. Essentially, the console is the same price or higher at anywhere else so the free game thrown in is quite a bonus.

The game you choose depends on your personal tastes. Kirby ranks 73/100 on the Metacritic scale. Captain Toad scores a bit higher with 81/100 and an even higher score with personal reviewers – an average of 86/100. I would lean towards Captain Toad because I like the visuals better and the metascore is higher.

Receive free shipping on your order as it will be over $50.

Walmart.ca Clothing Clearance: Items from $1! (& Many Items For $3)

Posted by on June 5, 2015 at 8:28 AM

Walmart.ca Clothing Clearance: Items from $1! (& Many Items For $3)

I got an email from Walmart.ca which advertised the fact that they are selling some clothing on clearance from only $3. When I clicked through, I actually saw that there were a few items for only ONE DOLLAR!

I was having a little difficulty with the shopping cart on this one. From the above search page, if one of the items has a green “add to cart” button, it usually means that item is available to buy in one of the sizes. But in some items, I just couldn’t find anything available – such as on this George Girls Graphic Crewneck for $1. However, I did find some stock in things for a dollar, such as this George Boys Long Sleeve Graphic Tee also for $1. It’s available in 0-3 and 6-12 months in red.

You will have to do a bit of hunting around to get the best deals in the bunch and find which items are in stock. On the above search page, you can narrow the results a little bit using the filters on the left, for gender or size. Here are a few more low-priced that are in stock as I write this:

As you can see, there are a lot more items around the $3 mark than the $1. But I am encouraging you to buy fast – many items could sell out soon.

Shipping Fees

If you spend $50 or more, you can get free Canadian shipping to your home. If you spend less than that amount, you can actually order online and collect the parcel for free at a Canada Post location near you. This could be very useful if you are placing a low-value order with just a few items in it.

A Few Father’s Day Ideas, Deals & Coupons

Posted by on June 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM

A Few Father’s Day Ideas, Deals & Coupons

Father’s Day is coming up on the 21st June 2015. Here on Bargainmoose, we’ve already been throwing some gift ideas at you, naturally all with a budget in mind. I know it’s still a few weeks away, but it’s always worth preparing for these events in advance, making sure you’re not paying over the odds by buying a gift at the last minute. Here are a few ideas to get you going:

How About Some Tickets?

If the dad in question is a fan of any particular artist, comedian or sports team, why not consider buying some event tickets? There are a number of venues that you can browse to check this out, and some also have coupon codes to get a bit of a saving. Here’s a list to get you started.

And here’s a tip – if you order the tickets online but cannot get the physical tickets in your hand in time to present them for Father’s Day, do this instead – cut out or print out a picture of the artist/team and pop it into the Father’s Day card.

How About a Massage?

To me, going for a massage always seems a lot more of a feminine thing to do, or a Mother’s Day gift. But this is just silliness inside my head – there’s no reason why dads shouldn’t have professional massages too. Margarita wrote this post about Wayspa gifts cards from Costco with digital delivery – you can get $100 in Wayspa gift cards for only $74.99. Then, the Father can choose where to get a lovely treatment.

How About His Mug on a Mug?

I’ll not repeat the whole deal, but the other day I wrote about personalised mugs. You can pick these up for only $10 from either Walmart or Blacks. Slap a photo of the Father on there, and gift it!

How About Something to Eat?

If the Father in question is a chocaholic (like my partner!) then he might appreciate the gift of something along those lines. When it comes to chocolate, you’ve got a few choices here:

Chocolate of the Month Club via Amazingclubs.ca – you can go for a 3 month subscription for $134.85, but if you go for a 6 or 12 month, you can use the coupon code DAD1525FD for an extra $25 discount. Shipping is free from these guys. Obviously this isn’t the cheapest deal in the world… but it all depends on how much you are willing to spend on the Father.

Purdys have a special section on their site dedicated to Father’s Day items, but sadly there are no special offers or coupon codes on those. I’d recommend signing up to email updates on our Purdys coupon page and you will be instantly alerted if we find a coupon for these.

But if they’re not a chocolate lover, how about some fruit? We’ve got a number of coupons on the go for Edible Arrangements, including one for totally free shipping.

What are you planning on getting for Father’s Day? Or have you already made your purchase?

Walmart Canada: Adult & Kid Bikes Were $98 | Now $88 & Free Shipping

Posted by on June 3, 2015 at 2:00 PM

Walmart Canada: Adult & Kid Bikes Were $98 | Now $88 & Free Shipping

Walmart Canada has discounted a few bikes from $98 down to $88. That is a $10 savings, which works out to just over 10% off a bunch of basic bikes. Receive free shipping on each of the bikes as they cost over the $50 shipping minimum.

Choose from two different size men’s bikes. The 24″ High Peak Mens is good for most heights. This bike has 18-speeds, a steel frame, and comes with knobby tires. If you are a bit taller, then you should purchase the Huffy Granite 26” Men’s Bicycle instead. It is also an 18-speed bike.

For boys, you can purchase the Huffy Granite™ 24” Boys’ Bicycle. The only reviewer for this bike purchased in in store and was critical of the colour options and way it was assembled. She said the colour online is red but in store they did not have the red version. The reviewer also said it would have been better to self-assemble (like when you buy online) instead of in store as the assembly in store was not quite up to spec.

Lastly, women can purchase this 24″ High Peak Womens bike for just $88. This bike features:

  • Steel frame
  • 18 speeds with twist shifter
  • Knobby tires
  • Linear pull brakes

It also has the best reviews of all four of these bikes. One reviewer offered a very detailed review including what tools you will need to assemble this bike. You will need an adjustable wrench for the pedals and front wheel, as well as two different sized allen keys (hex keys) for the seat and bike handles. You will also need a Philips screwdriver for installing your front reflector. The reviewer also said:

I bought this bike for my wife and she likes it. We do basic riding around the neighborhood. One thing to note, The seat is extremely hard on your butt. It takes some getting used to. Setting up took about 15 minutes. Over all this bike is ideal for casual riding.

These are great bike options for Moosers on a budget. There were two other bikes offered for the same sale price, $98 down to $88, but they have already sold out. With free shipping on each of these bikes and simple assembly, I think this is a good deal. I like that you can still purchase bikes for under $100 tax pretty much included.

$9.99 Father’s Day Photo Mugs & Free Collection, Walmart or Blacks!

Posted by on June 3, 2015 at 7:00 AM

$9.99 Father’s Day Photo Mugs & Free Collection, Walmart or Blacks!

If anyone is still on the hunt for a good Father’s Day gift, consider the creation of a personalised photo mug for your dad/hubby/partner/gramps. I was comparing prices from a few places and I found that both Walmart and Blacks have the best pricing for a basic personalised 11oz photo mug. You can get one for less than $10 at both of these stores, and both also offer free collection from your nearest location!

Free Collection or Pay Shipping?

If you order online via Walmart and want to have your mug shipped, shipping would cost an extra $9.97 so that’s not really worth it. $9.99 Father’s Day Photo Mugs & Free Collection, Walmart or Blacks!

You can get free shipping to your local Blacks store or also to select Telus locations, if you order online @ Blacks.ca. If you don’t live near a Blacks store or Telus location and cannot take advantage of the free collection service, then you might want to pay extra for shipping. Again shipping will cost an extra $9.99 too, so it doesn’t make sense for this option. Free collect at store is the way to go, with this deal!

Price Comparison!

Let’s have a little price comparison and see what we can see elsewhere, in terms of the cost for similar items.

  • Over on Snapfish.ca, basic photo mugs start at $13.99 and shipping from Snapfish is an extra $4.99 on that.
  • At Vistaprint.ca, personalised mugs start at $14 but there’s a coupon code (FIRSTORDER) for 20% off your first order, then shipping is extra on top of that too (E.g. $7.99 to ON).
  • You could buy from London Drugs Photolab, where the cost would be $17.99 with free collect-at-store in this case.
  • Over at Photobox.ca, personalised mugs start at $9.99 too, but shipping is an extra $3.95 on those.
  • From Shoppers Photo, personalised photo mugs start at $14.99.

As you can see, the $9.99 with free collection from either Blacks or Walmart is a great price for this item. And could make an idea Father’s Day pressie.

(Blacks coupon expires 10th June 2015, Walmart deal is ongoing AFAIK)

5 Drawer Tool Tower With Bulk Storage Was $80 | Now $48 (FS @ $50) @ Walmart.ca

Posted by on May 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM

5 Drawer Tool Tower With Bulk Storage Was $80 | Now $48 (FS @ $50) @ Walmart.ca

Quick Bargainmoosers, the 5 drawer Tool Tower with Bulk Storage just dropped in price at Walmart Canada. This large tool cabinet was $80 but has now dropped to only $48. This deal will probably not stay in stock long!

My husband’s tools are a wreck in the basement. He has a bench, and few shelves and several tool boxes, but good luck finding anything. When we first got together, I had my own set of screwdrivers. I tried for a long time to keep them separated so I could do basic repairs around the house. I have had to let go of that. I have no idea where those screwdrivers are now.

If you are in a similar spot, you should grab this tool tower today from Walmart. This tool bench includes five separate drawers to organize all of your smaller tools, screws, and other items to repair your home. This also has a bulk storage bin to keep larger items such as a power drill. This storage container is 22 inches across and 36 inches tall once assembled.

Around the web, tool storage drawers are much more expensive than this tower. The most inexpensive tool storage I could find similar in size was at Home Depot Canada, the International 5 drawer Combo with Storage Compartment for $99.  At Sears.ca I found a Toolmaster 5-Drawer Tool Chest Combo that is retailing for $149.99. Over at Canadian Tire, the cheapest tower I could find that was similar in size is a Mastercraft for $269.99.

I would not expect this tool storage box to hold everything in you garage. It will do the trick for an at home enthusiast who needs to organize a bit. The reviews all seem to reflect this sentiment. Here is one happy reviewer who is using this tool tower.

Tool cabinet was everything I expected. I am not using it as my main storage but as a secondary storage unit for misc. tools and it works fine. Assembly was easy and instructions clear.

Here is another happy reviewer who is glad they bought this tool tower:

It is not a professional toolbox, but regardless it does the job of keeping your tools organized just the same as a more expensive one! I am so glad I bought it…now all my tools are in one place and easy to find! It was so worth it for the price.

I do not expect this price to last long Bargainmoosers, so grab yours quick if you want one. Shipping is free if you spend $50. You can also have it shipped to a Canadian Post location for free, if you wish. Save yourself the hassle and throw a box of Oreos in your cart as a filler to qualify for free shipping. These Oreos were $3.97 but are now $2.98. Your tool chest and Oreos will be headed to your house soon.

FoodSaver Accessory Starter Kit Was $50 | Now $25 + FS On $50 @ Walmart.ca

Are you looking to start saving more food? Start preserving your fresh items, frozen food, or pantry foods with this FoodSaver Accessory Starter Kit from Walmart Canada. This kit would have normally cost you $50, but is on clearance sale for just $25. If you spend $50 or more you can have this item shipped directly to your home for free.

In my household it is just my son and myself. Often food is wasted because between the two of us, we just don’t eat it fast enough. I would love to have something like this FoodSaver Accessory Starter Kit that is on sale for 50% off at Walmart.ca right now. For just $25 you will get the Fresh Adapter and other accessories like the Heat-Seal rolls. Take a look at what is included in this FoodSaver Accessory Starter Kit for just $25:

  • 6 FreshSaver Quart Zipper Bags
  • 6 FreshSaver Gallon Zipper Bags
  • 1 Fresh Adapter
  • 1 Bottle Stopper
  • 1 – 8″ x 20″ Heat-Seal roll
  • 1 – 11″ x 16″ Heat-Seal roll
  • 1 Lunch & Leftovers Container

The accessories sound great. I drink wine, but not by the bottle. The Bottle Stopper can replace the cork from your wine bottle. It also vacuum seals your wine to keep it fresh. I imagine this Bottle Stopper could work on expensive oils and such as well. The containers and zipper bags are great for deli meats, cheese and anything else really. They even prevent freezer burn which is so annoying. I hate taking a food out of my freezer to find out that it has been freezer burnt. Actually, it looks like the Heat-Seal rolls are even safe to throw in the microwave or simmer. I am impressed.

I could not find this FoodSaver Accessory Starter Kit for any less than $25 at other Canadian retailers. Take a look at the prices I found during my price comparison search:

It really is sad that Walmart.ca took away their free shipping with no minimum purchase, but if you spend $50 you can still enjoy free shipping right to your door. Perhaps a friend or relative could use one of these FoodSaver Accessory Starter Kits as well? If you purchase two, you will have hit your free shipping threshold. Otherwise you could have it sent to your closest Canada Post office for free. If you are in the Greater Toronto Area you can opt to pick up  your purchase at a Grab & Go Locker in a Walmart Canada store near you.
