Walmart Canada: Wolf Children [Blu-Ray + DVD] Only $19.97 & Free Shipping

Walmart Canada: Wolf Children [Blu Ray + DVD] Only $19.97 & Free Shipping

Walmart Canada has a special deal on a recently released Japanese anime title: Wolf Children. The Wolf Children [Blu-Ray + DVD] set is on sale for just $19.97 with free shipping.

Many people might wonder why I chose to write about this movie. Well, it is a very popular anime movie that has garnered a lot of attention and a lot of awards already. Among the awards, Wolf Children has won:

  • 2012 Mainichi Film Award for Best Animation Film
  • 2013 Japan Academy Prize for Animation of the Year
  • 2013 Animation of the Year award at TAF
  • 2013 Audience Award at New York International Children’s Film Festival

That is just a start; the film has won several other awards as well. On Rotten Tomatoes, Wolf Children has an amazing 93% rating, which is akin to Studio Ghibli’s masterpiece: My Neighbor Totoro.

The story line is simply beautiful. a young college girl falls in love with a man, who is part wolf. She accepts him as he is and they have two children together. The rest of the story is the heartwarming tale of a mother trying to raise two part-wolf cubs on her own. It is absolutely endearing and you will probably cry once or twice during the movie (or at least sniffle a few times). This is one of the most popular anime films out right now, and the price is the best I have seen in months. As one reviewer said:

A beautiful story for all ages. Delivery was really fast and since this was not readily available anywhere else, I was thrilled to be able to purchase from Walmart on-line.

I price compared the Wolf Children [Blu-Ray + DVD] set to other retailers. Future Shop and Best Buy both have the film for $26.99 and it is sold out on both sites. I did find Wolf Children at Amazon Canada for the same price as Walmart, but the free shipping minimum of $25 makes it not as good of a deal. Right now, Walmart Canada has limited stock so I suggest purchasing sooner rather than later.

I would be remiss to blog about a movie like this without including the trailer for it. Below, you can watch a synopsis of the story line and see the beautiful art that accompanies it.

You can also watch the full movie on Youtube, to see if it is a movie that you wish to add to your collection. Here is the link to the full film. I am going to watch it later today to see if I am going to buy the film.

Walmart.ca: Eureka Rally 2 Canister Was $60 | Now $39 & Free Shipping

Posted by on February 26, 2015 at 5:16 PM

Walmart.ca: Eureka Rally 2 Canister Was $60 | Now $39 & Free Shipping

Did your vacuum cleaner just hit the dust instead of suck it up? Look at the Eureka Rally 2 Canister that is on sale from $59.96 down to just $39 with free shipping.

Price comparing this unit was very difficult, as I could not find it many places in Canada. I looked the product up on Eureka’s website where the Rally 2 retailed for $79.99. McHardy Vacuum Canada sells the same unit for $69.97 with free shipping on $99 or more.

This vacuum cleaner has been discontinued, but it is still a great little unit for cleaning up around the house, the car, or the garage. The Eureka Rally 2 Canister is lightweight (less than 12 lbs) and has a long cord for versatile cleaning. The cord automatically rewinds for quick storage. It is also a fairly small unit for those with limited storage space.

For cleaning up high, the telescopic wand and on-board tools give you an extra-long reach so you can clean the corners of the ceiling or vacuum the tops of your curtains. According to Walmart Canada’s website, there is a bonus Power Paw included. I have no clue what that is!

Reviews of the unit are very positive – from the price to the suction. As this reviewer says:

Lightweight, easy to move, with strong suction and an excellent tool for sofas and such. Picks up cat hair well. Very inexpensive, especially for its quality and capabilities. The two downsides are its rather loud somewhat high-pitched ringing noise and a rather stiff hose attachment at the front that doesn’t (yet, anyway) swivel easily.

Another reviewer also mentioned that the vacuum is rather loud. The person was startled at the sound but quickly grew to love the cleaning power associated with the unit. The price most certainly helps. It has been on sale before (as I can tell by the comments), and people were super pleased with the quality for the price.

This is a bagged unit, so you will need to pick up some bags for it. The manual will let you know why style of bags is compatible with the unit. As you can get a pack of bags pretty cheap these days, I think this unit is well worth the price. I also rather love the shocking yellow colour.

Walmart Canada: 50% off Stanley Screwdriver Set – Was $20 | Now $10 & Free Shipping

Posted by on February 25, 2015 at 1:00 PM

Walmart Canada: 50% off Stanley Screwdriver Set Was $20 | Now $10 & Free Shipping

Walmart Canada is offering 50% off a couple Stanley Tool packs. We mentioned the Three Tool Combo pack before, but now the Stanley 40pc Screwdriver Set – STHT60105 is on sale from $19.98 down to $10 with free shipping.

This set has everything you need to screw things into a wall, to assemble a shelving unit, or to assemble furniture. The set includes 10 screwdrivers, six-piece precision screwdriver set, two curved screwdrivers, one multi bit screwdriver, and 21 bits. That is probably more screwdrivers than you will ever need, but you cannot beat the price.

The entire set comes with the standard limited lifetime warranty from Stanley. Stanley is a household name in tools so I was surprised to see such a good deal on a set of their screwdrivers.

While you may think that you do not need a screwdriver, these things come in super handy. I was assembling a barbecue one day and would have really liked one of those curved screwdriver extensions. Sometimes screws are in the most annoying places to reach. In addition, it is nice to have multiple screwdrivers so you can assemble a bookshelf or more with some help. These tools are good for the job site and fit in right at home in your garage or home tool drawer.

It is amazing how many times I reach for a screwdriver when I really didn’t think I would use mine much. The last time was to replace the entire smoke detector in our apartment. The detector was screwed into the ceiling so I had to fish out the proper bit to get it down and put the next one up.

I price compared this screwdriver set with a couple other retailers. Amazon Canada has the set on sale from $41.99 down to $10 but you would have to pay for shipping or get your cart up to $25. Thus, Walmart’s deal is better as it includes free shipping. I also price compared with Lowe’s, where the set is on sale from $19.99 down to $14.99. Lowes.ca only offers free shipping at $49 now.

If you are buying this set, then I highly recommend picking up the Three Tool Combo Pack that Eva blogged about as well. That set includes a measuring tape, interchangeable screwdriver, and a Quickslide knife. Together, both these sets will flesh out your tool kit.

Cadbury Crème Egg Was $1 | Now 37 cents & Free Shipping + Assorted Easter Candy Reduced @ Walmart.ca (Expired)

Cadbury Crème Egg Was $1 | Now 37 cents & Free Shipping + Assorted Easter Candy Reduced @ Walmart.ca (Expired)

Quick, grab yourself a treat! Do some bunny shopping early and score single Cadbury Crème Eggs at a steal. These eggs were $1 but now are only 37 cents per egg. These treats will be delivered directly to your home free with no minimum for shipping.

**That was a hot deal that went fast! All prices have returned back to the original retail values.

Walmart has their Cadbury Cream Eggs on clearance now, long before the first hard boiled egg hits the dye. Perhaps this is an error to have a discount this low still this far before Easter. It means you need to grab some sweets for your basket at a steal of a deal quickly. I do not expect this deal to last long, so if you want them grab them now.

If you were to walk into almost any drug store or grocery store right now, you would most likely pay between $1.10 and $1.50 per Cadbury egg. I was at my local store earlier this week and noticed the displays were purposely blocking me getting easily to the cash. If you were to buy these eggs online, Well.ca sells them for $1.48 per egg. The minimum for free shipping is $25, and that will take quite a few eggs to ship them free. Amazon.ca will sell you 12 eggs for $25 with free shipping, or $2.09 per egg. Buy these at Walmart quick before you end up paying full retail for your treats.

You can choose between several other discounted Easter treats for your basket. Browse all the chocolate if you are doing some seriously quick bunny shopping. Make sure to browse further down, as there are some other hidden goodies. Here are the steals I am seeing that you might consider throwing in your cart:

Do your bunny shopping before these deals are gone. With free shipping and no minimum, you can even send yourself a little treat from the bunny himself in the mail.

Walmart Canada: 3-Tool Combo Pack Was $20 | Now $10 & Free Shipping

Posted by on February 23, 2015 at 9:14 AM

Walmart Canada: 3 Tool Combo Pack Was $20 | Now $10 & Free Shipping

After Kristy wrote about the last tool deal for the cordless drill, I found another great tool deal that suits almost anyone! Get the Stanley 3-piece tool set from Walmart for only $10, with a regular price of $20 and you’ll also get free shipping on top.

I think this set is truly for anyone. Everyone could use a tape measure, screwdriver and utility knife. I have not used many tools in my life, but I’ve used all three of these! This would make a great addition to your trailer, your garage, your shed, even in your vehicle. You just truly don’t know when you might need to use one of these important tools. If you have a kid moving out on their own or going to university in the fall, they’ll probably need all of these in their first week moving in.

Stanley is a good name in tools as well, so you know this isn’t a bargain basement toolkit. The screwdriver is actually a multi-bit screwdriver with a kind of built-in storage system. It has spring-loaded and magnetic mechanisms so you can change your bits easily.

The tape measure is a 25′ leverlock tape with a blade lock and the knife is a QuickSlide general purpose knife. You might also want to call it a box cutter.

If you are moving soon, this is probably something you’d want to have on hand and easily accessible. Just ensure you open the package before you go because it would suck having the box cutter inside the package and not being able to get it out!

Price comparing is difficult as I didn’t see this exact set anywhere, but this Stanley screwdriver at Rona looks similar and sells for $14.98 on its own. A similar tape measure from Stanley sells for $12.74 on Amazon. I also found a similar knife at Home Depot that sells for $5.88. So while the $20 price is a good deal for the set, the $10 price tag is pretty amazing. Consider as well, buying each item separately from the above stores will also cost you shipping too.

Walmart Canada: Supergate III On Rollback For Just $20 & Free Shipping

Posted by on February 21, 2015 at 6:00 AM

Walmart Canada: Supergate III On Rollback For Just $20 & Free Shipping

Got a baby, kids or maybe even a dog? Then you need a gate! The Supergate III is currently on rollback at Walmart and can be yours for just $19.88 instead of its usual price of $29.94 — that’s 34% off!

Going, going, gone! That’s exactly how I feel now that my baby is crawling all over the place and cries as soon as I try to keep her entertained within a superyard in the living room. Having her crawling around is definitely great in of itself but sectioning certain areas would help to make my life as a mommy much easier but since I don’t exactly want to shell out loads of money on gates and baby products in general, getting them on rollback is the best way!

The Supergate III is a gate produced by North States in a vanilla colour. It can easily fit openings from 25.5″-42″ wide and is 26″ high.

As for a price comparison, I found this same gate at 2 others stores:

Reviews are largely mixed for it as well. Users either totally love it or totally hate it, so the fact that it’s currently on rollback is definitely a huge advantage, especially if you don’t have the biggest of budgets to spend on a gate. Here’s what a reviewer on Walmart had to say about it:

I bought the Supergate III and I am happy with it.

And here’s another review.

If you are trying to mount it- watch the YouTube video. Instructions are a little confusing. I put this gate up last night and its kinda hard for me to open let alone my kids (its for the dog). It only closes if its in a groove properly which is quite frustrating because my proper length is right in between. Good enough for the price but like others have said..spend the extra money if you can…

The YouTube video in question is the North States Supergate Classic, which clearly demonstrates how to install it.

If you don’t have a car or are just feeling lazy because of the cold and snow outside, then you will be happy that this gate will also be shipped absolutely free. That is a major advantage as getting large items can be a pain sometimes, even with a car.

George Women’s Ugg Style Boot Was $39 | Now $19 & Free Shipping @ Walmart Canada

Posted by on February 19, 2015 at 10:37 PM

George Womens Ugg Style Boot Was $39 | Now $19 & Free Shipping @ Walmart Canada

Looking for an Ugg style boot but don’t want to pay Ugg style prices? Walmart Canada has these cute George Women’s Boots on sale from $39 down to $19. Even if these boots only lasted you one Winter season, they would be well worth the money. Walmart.ca also includes shipping on all online orders with no minimum purchase. These boots are only available in the tan colour.

I personally own a pair of Ugg boots as well as a pair of these George Women’s Boots. If the weather is wet enough that I am too scared to wear my Uggs, I throw on these boots to do the job. The George Women’s Boots have the Ugg style to them, and won’t empty your wallet. You can pay just $19 to keep your feet warm in these stylish boots.

These George Winter Boots for women are pull-on style. They have a faux fur lining to make sure the cold doesn’t reach your toes during these crazy cold temperatures. The rubber outer sole is pretty durable, compared to other Ugg knock offs of the same quality. I bought a pair of Ugg look-a-likes from Ardene’s and they didn’t hold up half as well as these George boots. You also won’t cry every time your boots get wet, like I do with my Uggs.

To get the best life expectancy out of these boots, I suggest spraying a couple coats of a Winter boot protector or suede protector before really wearing them. This applies to all sorts of Winter boots made of leather, suede, or any fabric really. Canada really does have horrible Winters, it is hard to find boots that can live up to the expectations.

While these boots are cute, stylish, and look similar to Uggs, I would not suggest them for any extreme outdoor activities. Once they get wet enough, the water does seep through and you will become very cold. For $19 these boots are great for walking the dog, hitting the mall, or even something simple to slip on if you want to do a Tim Horton’s run.

The great thing about shopping at Walmart.ca is that you get free shipping no matter how big or small your purchase is. Mr. Noodles? Free shipping. Huge new TV? Free shipping. I also find that Walmart’s shipping is rather fast, which means you can still get some use out of these George Boots this year.

Walmart Canada: Monster High Freaky Fusion Dolls $14.97 & Free Shipping

Posted by on February 18, 2015 at 1:58 PM

Walmart Canada: Monster High Freaky Fusion Dolls $14.97 & Free Shipping

Walmart Canada is selling Monster High Freaky Fusion dolls for just $14.97 with free shipping. This is a recent rollback on the doll’s original price. While Walmart does not show the original price, these dolls usually sell for around double that price.

As I was writing this up, the Monster High Freaky Fusion Frankie Stein Doll went out of stock so I know this deal is quite popular. There are two other characters left for you to choose from.

Monster High Freaky Fusion Inspired Ghouls Scarah Screams: This is a really cool Monster High doll with whited out eyes and luminescent green skin. But don’t let that fool you… there is a cat on the inside just ready to pounce. Scarah Screams is the Daughter of the Banshee and has gone through a werecat fusion. The doll includes cat ears, a cat tail, and tiger stripes through her hair. Her outfit is just perfect for the fusion with black, orange, and white really matching her hair well. Now, Amazon Canada has the same price for the doll but you would have to reach a $25 cart minimum for free shipping.

Monster High Freaky Fusion Operetta Doll: Operetta fuses fashion sense with Frankie Stein to bring you this awesome freaky fusion doll. Enjoy your Operetta doll with a lightning bolt headband, nuts-and-bolt necklace, and a purse with silvery Skullette decal. This doll still has her famous half-face mask and a music inspired wardrobe. The doll retails for $29.97 at Amazon Canada. This person sure had fun with their review:

Operetta has no problems reaching the rafters with her screaming awesome style. She doesn’t hide behind any fashion trend. Instead she steps out with her double strap mary-jane heels and electrifies wherever she goes.Be like her and freak out with all her friends!

I think Scarah Screams is my favourite out of these dolls. I am not one for black/pink so Operetta’s fashion sense just is not my own. However, the beautiful green lips and whiteout eyes of Scarah are really cool. I also love her ears and tail.

Each doll with ship for free to your home as Walmart Canada Has free shipping with no minimum. Quantities are limited.

Select Wallpops Zoology Animal Wall Appliques Was $18 | Now $9 & Free Shipping @ Walmart.ca

Posted by on February 12, 2015 at 5:00 PM

Select Wallpops Zoology Animal Wall Appliques Was $18 | Now $9 & Free Shipping @ Walmart.ca

Check out the Wallpops Zoology Animal Appliques on clearance @ Walmart.ca. All three of these applique sets were $17.88 each, but are now only $9 each. Choose between Antoinne the Monkey, Riley the Giraffe and Betty the Lamb. Free shipping with no minimum is always included with Walmart.ca purchases.

I really like these repositionable wall appliques from Wall Pops. Each kit comes with a full page of designs. Each of these three applique sets was $17.88 but is now only $9 per kit. Several of us saw an original price of $24.98 so something glitchy is happening there. Either way the final price is a solid $9 per kit.

These designs easily peel and stick. If you change your mind and decide to put the monkey on the opposite wall, it is simple to remove and your paint will be intact. You can choose between three different animal designs including:

I did a little price comparing with Antoinne the monkey. These appliques will be more pricey if you choose to order them elsewhere. I found this same decal set at Home Depot.ca for $29.99. I also saw a third party seller on Amazon was carrying these decals for $37. Antoinne, you are a much better price at Walmart.ca.

Use one of these sets, or maybe even all three. I could see the monkey and giraffe going well together. For the same price, you would purchase one applique elsewhere, you could purchase all three at Walmart. Then when your toddler suddenly hates anything with lambs for no reasonable reason, you can surprise them with some monkeys.

No one seems to be reviewing this product. I would try it for this inexpensive price. I recently blogged another Wallpops design and someone mentioned the decals were difficult to peel from the paper and to take your time with that part of the project. They also said once the decals were removed from the backing, the decals easily peeled up and down off of the wall for repositioning, which is the more important part to me!

Everyone around me seems to be having babies lately. That means many different rooms are being redecorated. Some are for the new baby arriving, and often a second room for the bigger sibling is freshened up to reflect a big kid status. A fresh change of decorations can really brighten up your mood and make you feel ready for the new arrival in your family. For me it was a big mix of being excited and terrified. You could also easily use these for a playroom or some other type of play space… I know our basement play space could use some freshening up.

Save 50% On The Fujifilm EF20 TTL Flash Was $200 | Now $98 @ Walmart.ca (Expired)

Save 50% On The Fujifilm EF20 TTL Flash Was $200 | Now $98 @ Walmart.ca (Expired)

Photography lovers can save 50% on the The Fujifilm EF20 TTL Flash. This flash was $200 but is now only $98 @ Walmart.ca. Free shipping with no minimum is included with all orders at Walmart Canada.

I have often considered upgrading my photography equipment to the next level. I currently have a glorified point and shoot that is a step above an iPhone. I like to take pictures of the snow, my garden, my kid and all of the other fun adventures we have as a family traveling. I find that in the wintertime I can never have enough light inside for my pictures. My living room has currently five different light sources to attempt to curb this issue so I do not miss memories.  I still end up with a few dark pictures.

Maybe it is time I invest in something a little more efficient. Check out the Fujifilm EF20 TTL Flash that was $200 and is now only $98. This flash has a neat little design that allows it to fold back into itself. The description mentions that it fits easily into a pocket. I know I am no pro, so a beginner slim fit flash is a good option for me. This flash is powered from 2 AA batteries and has a recharge time of four seconds. While not instant, that is a quick turnaround to ensure you do not miss the shot.

This flash is compatible with the following camera models. The list is pretty long!:

  • FinePix SL280
  • SL240
  • SL1000
  • HS30EXR
  • HS25EXR
  • HS20EXR
  • HS35EXR
  • HS50EXR
  • X10
  • X20
  • X-M1
  • X-E1
  • X-Pro-1
  • X100
  • X100S

Checking around the web at the competitor’s prices, this flash is a great deal. Whether you are buying from a bigger retailer or a retailer that tailors to photographers, Walmart has the winning price with this flash.

  • $174 @ Amazon.ca
  • $179 @ Camera Canada
  • $189 @ Aden Camera
  • $199 @ The Source

Reviews are good everywhere I price checked this flash. Most people are rating it five stars and say it is perfect for the beginner or intermediate photographer on the go. Here is one reviewer on Walmart.ca who seems pretty happy.

Save 50% On The Fujifilm EF20 TTL Flash Was $200 | Now $98 @ Walmart.ca (Expired)

If you are considering a flash for your Fuji Camera, or considering buying one of the Fuji cameras on the list, I would grab this flash. It is so useful to have a little extra light when you need it. I hate when I miss the shot because it was just too dark. In addition, with the small size of this flash you do not need to reconsider your whole camera bag setup. The flash can just slip right in your pocket and your camera can go around your neck.

Bargainmoosers, are there any photography accessories you have been eyeing?

Take 50% Off The Little People Disney Jolly Trolley for Just $15 & Free Shipping @ Walmart.ca

Take 50% Off The Little People Disney Jolly Trolley for Just $15 & Free Shipping @ Walmart.ca

Do you have a little boy or girl in your household? One of the most popular toys for children under 5, is the Little People collection. The Fisher Price Little People toys range from princess and castles all the way to super heroes and farm animals. If you want to get a Fisher Price Little People collection started for your kiddos, why not start with a Disney theme? Right now Walmart.ca has the Little People Disney Jolly Trolley on sale from $29.94 down to just $15. You will even get free shipping.

Now your child can bring the included Little People characters Koby and Goofy on a fun and magical ride in the Fisher Price Little People Disney Jolly Trolley. By purchasing this toy from Walmart Canada now, you will take 50% off the original price and pay just $15. Not bad, right?

Your little one can pretend to be a tour guide for hours. They can simply push down on the drivers seat to hear a few different fun tunes and sounds. Where will the next stop be? Maybe Cinderella’s castle or to meet Bambi. You can drive this trolley to more of the Little People Discover Disney play sets for even more adventures. For more amusement,  your little one can turn the key on top of the trolley to get that classic clicker noise that all children seem to love. Judging by the design and features of this toy, I would say it is best suited for children 1 – 3 years of age but Walmart.ca suggests this Little People toy for children under 5.

Customer reviews on this Fisher Price Little People set inform us that the set is durable, cute and entertaining. However, if your child is over 3 years of age they may quickly become bored of this toy. Personally, my son love Fisher Price Little People for so long. Now he is quite obsessed with Thomas The Train, but if he still loved Little People I would snag this deal for sure. There are other cute Mickey Mouse characters in other Disney sets too if you want to get a little nostalgic.

The shipping policy at Walmart Canada online is great. I can’t think of anywhere else that provides free shipping on all items big and small, even if you pay just $0.01. So of course, you get free shipping with this purchase for your kids too.

Walmart Canada: Tonka Trucks Were $40 | Now $20 & Free Shipping

Posted by on February 5, 2015 at 2:01 PM

Walmart Canada: Tonka Trucks Were $40 | Now $20 & Free Shipping

Tonka trucks really bring me back to my youth. My brother had one that I loved to use to ride my barbies in. Barbie didn’t want the dream convertible, she wanted the 4×4! Walmart has a great deal on right now, with three Tonka Titans on sale for $20, with a regular price of $40. Of course, you’ll also get free shipping.

Christmas has been over for a month and a half so my ban on new toys in the house might have to be lifted for this sale. All of my boys love trucks and cars, and they’d love to get these as gifts, just because. I also think these would be great to buy and store as gifts for birthday parties that my kids will inevitably be invited to in the near future.

There are three styles of truck available. The first is the titans car carrier. Like it says, it carries cars. I know my boys are fascinated by the car haulers we see on the road, like how is it possible to tow all of those cars on one truck? I used to work at a car dealership so I’m not as fascinated since one of those car carriers hit my parked car. But, its all about the fun for the kids.

The second one is the garbage truck, which is another type of truck that my kids are fascinated with. Every time that truck makes its way down my street, my kids stare in awe as it “eats” the garbage. It even has a very good review:

My son ordered this truck for himself with his christmas money. He absolutely loves it and was so happy yo add it yo his garbage truck collection.

The third is the most fascinating type of truck – the fire truck. My kids actually have this fire truck and it gets played with often. We have a few firetrucks, and I find it much more durable than the Playmobil one that I paid about $50 for! It also has fantastic reviews:

My toddler loves this toy. He plays with it all the time. Happy to have it.

Like most of the best deals at Walmart, this is bound to sell out as fast as I have written this post, so don’t wait and ask your kid when he/she gets home if they’d like a new truck.

The Disney Baby Winnie the Pooh Dreamy Stars Soother was $53, but is now only $25 @ Walmart.ca. Free shipping with no minimum is included every day at Walmart.ca.

Imagine it is time for everyone in the house to drift off to dreamland. The sun has set, the house is quiet and you are rocking a sweet bundle of toddler to sleep in your arms. Sounds like a nice scene until the sweet bundle starts screaming their lungs out at 2 am. When the wee hours of the morning hit, distraction techniques are your best friend for convincing your sweet angel that is bedtime.

Check out the Disney Baby Winnie the Pooh Dreamy Stars Soother. This sweet baby, toddler and preschooler toy could be that distraction technique you need so your kid goes to sleep. The Winnie the Pooh Dreamy Stars Soother toy is designed by a well-known company, Cloud B. Cloud B is an award winning company that has made many bedtime products for young children such as the Tranquil Turtle, The Sleep Sheep and the Twinkling Firefly Frog.

The Winnie the Pooh Dreamy Stars Soother is similar to the famous Tranquil Turtle toy. With the push of a button, the Winnie The Pooh toy projects stars all over the ceiling and includes a sweet Mickey Mouse constellation as an extra bonus. My daughter has a tranquil turtle that she loves. She has spent many nights falling asleep while staring up at the stars. The Winnie the Pooh Dreamy Stars Soother switches the colour of the stars between blue and green at the push of a button. It also comes equipped with a 45-minute timer so it shuts itself off after your child falls asleep. This toy is intended to help your child ease any fears of the dark. I personally like that it gave my daughter something to focus on. I found that sometimes she needs something to fiddle with until she can relax enough to fall asleep.

I do not see this product for sale currently at any of the major retailers in Canada except Amazon.ca where it is listed for $73. A comparable product to purchase is the original Tranquil Turtle. The Tranquil Turtle will cost you $40 at Walmart. The same turtle will also cost you $40 @ Well.ca or Toys R Us.ca. $40 seems to be the base price at every major retailer right now, no matter what colour turtle you choose.

Avigayil blogged about a similar sound soother back in December, but this one has the starry night ability that the others don’t.

I might just grab this item and stash it away for a baby gift. I know how much my daughter enjoyed her turtle, and this Pooh Bear would work for a girl or a boy. Shipping is free at Walmart with no minimum, making it a great time to snag this deal before it is sold out.

Canadian Freebie: Free Box Of Revlon ColorSilk @ Walmart Canada (EXPIRED)

Not too long ago, Walmart rolled out a coupons section with deals that can be either printed or mailed. Usually, there are discounts on food and other skincare products, but today, you can get a mail-in coupon for a free box of Revlon ColorSkin hair colour product!

This offer is undoubtedly going to disappear very soon so don’t delay in getting it. Although you won’t be able to go redeem that coupon right away as there is no printable option, it will, however, be mailed straight to your order within a couple of weeks.

Once you receive your Revlon coupon, it’s only redeemable in-stores at Walmart and won’t be appliance towards an online purchase.

It’s also only valid on Revlon’s ColorSilk hair colour, which is a permanent hair colour product that is ammonia free and offers 100% grey coverage.

In case you have never tried this one before, I looked up reviews and found that it receive 4/5 stars on MakeUpAlley.com. To give you an idea, here’s what one reviewer had to say about it:

Honestly i have tried all different brands in the past an none have done the job like this has. it’s cheap, it’s permanent and the choice of color is outstandingly pleasing. it has never damaged my hair and i will keep using this for the rest of my life.

The fact that it’s a great product despite being cheap is also pretty awesome. I can’t even begin to tell you how much money I have wasted at a salon when I could have achieved the same results at home!

Here’s another review:

The medium golden brown does a nice job of covering my white roots and it blends very closely to my previous salon coloring. It has no ammonia, which is a big plus. My hair came out very silky after using the included conditioner. It is not (too) messy if I’m careful.

Speaking of which, if you like ColorSilk, then you can then get more boxes for just $6.96 but in-stores only as it doesn’t seem to be available online yet.
