Walmart Canada: Hot Wheels Wall Track Just $25 (was $59.95)

Walmart Canada: Hot Wheels Wall Track Just $25 (was $59.95)

Walmart has a great deal for anyone that has little ones that are into cars.  Get a Hot Wheels Roto-Arm Revolution wall track for just $25 when the regular price was $59.95!

My boys are obsessed with Hot Wheels and to be honest so is my husband.  It is one of those brands of toys that you really can never have to many of because there are just so many to choose from.

This particular set is a Hot Wheels Wall Track, which means it can actually go on the wall. I am a little jealous because they didn’t have the wall tracks when I was kid and they are so much fun. It is called the Roto-Arm Revolution track because it  features a motorized lift to move cars up the wall.

It has a bright green claw that grabs a descending vehicle, then the rotating arms lift it up and drop it off on a higher track.  Pretty cool when you think about it!  This set includes one die cast car and safe-for-walls command strips, all for just $25 right now.  I suspect at that price, they will be selling out quick.

Something like this would make a great gift idea for Easter or a birthday.  It suggests it is appropriate for ages 5 years old and older but I have a 3 year old and 4 year old and they have a few of these wall tracks already and love them.

As for the cost of shipping, it will be absolutely free, which is a huge bonus! They still have some left online and select stores have them in store, as well, so you have a few options as to where and how to shop.

Walmart Canada: Radio Flyer Ready To Ride Trike Only $48 (Was $65)

Walmart Canada: Radio Flyer Ready To Ride Trike Only $48 (Was $65)

If you little toddler or preschooler is ready for a bike, a trike is the most fun way to start. Walmart has a fantastic deal on this Radio Flyer Ready to Ride trike, now only $48, was $64.86 and it will ship for free.

When I was young I lived in an apartment building, so I don’t remember having a trike. I do remember having big wheels at school and that was probably my most favourite thing to do. I think I still have the quads from those days pedalling my big wheel.

Radio Flyer is a good name in kid’s bikes and we’ve had three Radio Flyer bikes here and they are good quality, not to mention they look good with their distinctive styling. This bike is red, but they also have the same sale on the pink one. I think the red is much more versatile as a pass-me-down bike for boys or girls.

The byline says that this bikes grows with your child, but no other information is provided, so of course, I researched this for you. What I found was that this bike is a good stable bike, with an adjustable seat that also folds up for easy storage. I only found good reviews for it and it is recommended for kids from age 1 to 3.

During my research, I also price compared and while I only found the exact bike at Radio Flyer, it was $60 US there, and elsewhere similar bikes were $60 or more.

Walmart Canada: Scrubs As Low as $3

Walmart Canada: Scrubs As Low as $3

If you are in a profession where you need to wear scrubs to work like a nurse or vet assistant or work in a lab, you’ll want to not spend a lot of money, but still look fashionable. Walmart has a fantastic clearance deal on right now on women’s and unisex scrubs as low as $3 with a regular price as high as $20.

Walmart seems to be having quite a few clothing clearance deals out lately and if you watch closely, you can take advantage and pay a mere few dollars for the item. What I love the most is that Walmart ships free, no matter what you spend, so you can just buy one item for a few dollars and not worrying about meeting a minimum spend that is so much more than you wanted to spend. You can literally spend $3 and that be it.

These unisex solid scrub pants are perfect for anyone and come in all sizes from XS up to 2XL. The blue are the best deal at only $3, and the black are $9, both regularly $14. This would be a great time to stock up on a few for those weeks when laundry is your last priority.

If you like to have a print top because you are fun and whimsical, the Fall 2013 tops are on clearance, from $18 down to $11. These don’t have to be worn just in the fall as the patterns are great for year-round.

A better deal is actually on the solid colour tops. This time, the black is the cheapest at $3, with other colours being $9. You could pick up an entire scrub outfit with coloured bottoms and a black top for only $6!

Walmart Canada: Kids Pyjamas Only $3

Walmart Canada: Kids Pyjamas Only $3

Walmart has put a number of kids pyjamas on sale for only $3, was $9. Unfortunately, they are selling like hot cakes, so you must get them immediately if you want them.

Like I said, many of the pairs of $3 pyjamas are sold out, but I did find these Disney 2-piece flannel pyjamas with Lightning McQueen all over them. They only have the grey available in sizes 4-6.

I had a bit more luck with the girls, and found these Disney 2-piece flannel pyjamas in the purple with Tinkerbell on them in sizes 4 and 5. As well, I found these Disney toddler girls 2-piece flannel pyjamas in three colours and patters – pink princesses, purple Tinkerbell and blue Ariel. All of these are in size 2.

So if you have children in those sizes, this is a great opportunity to pick up $3 pyjamas for next winter so could also stock up for next year. These are also great for cool nights camping.

Because Walmart offers free shipping, you could just pick up one pair and feel good about your $3 purchase!

Walmart Canada: Black & Decker Gas Grill Only $400 (Was $650)

Walmart Canada: Black & Decker Gas Grill Only $400 (Was $650)

I found a super fantastic clearance deal at Walmart, that is perfect for Spring. Get the Black & Decker Signature series 6500 LP gas grill for only $398, was $646. That is almost $250 off the original price!

With 855 square inches of cooking area, your whole family can enjoy grilled ribs, chicken, vegetables and so much more with this grill. You don’t even need to turn on the stove when you’ve got the side burner for any boiling or other cooking you need to do. It even has a stainless steel warming rack in case you need to cook large meals or to warm those soft hamburger buns.

With Summer just around the corner, I’m already dreaming of hot Saturdays spent in the backyard, grilling food, my feet in the kiddie pool, some coolers by my side. Our BBQ was purchased on clearance as well, but quite a few years ago and is getting on its last legs. I’d love a larger grill, since as my boys are getting older, we need to cook more food. I can’t imagine what I’ll need when they are all teenagers!

Walmart offers free shipping on everything, so buying online actually saves you the hassle of getting this sucker into your car. It will be right on your doorstep in no time.

Walmart Canada Movie Madness: Select Movie & TV Shows From $5

Walmart Canada Movie Madness: Select Movie & TV Shows From $5

Walmart’s Movie Madness is now on and for a limited time, you can save get select titles starting at just $5.

There is nothing like kicking back after along day at work and watching a good movie or TV show and since circumventing the law by downloading or streaming these is illegal, then you might as well save a bit of money by acquiring these titles the right way. Boring, I know, but at least you won’t risk getting a fine!

Here are just a couple of titles that you can get for less during Walmart’s Movie Madness:

Although the vast majority of these titles are significantly lower in price, make sure to price compare with Amazon and Best Buy because I found that the first season of the American Horror Story is more expensive by one penny on Amazon (it’s with French subtitles but those can easily be turned off). I know a penny isn’t going to break the bank but in the spirit of frugality, the point here is that it’s not a deal per se, despite being labelled as such.

Don’t forget that Walmart also ships everything for free with no required minimum!

Walmart Canada: Huggies Club Pack Wipes Only $10

Walmart Canada: Huggies Club Pack Wipes Only $10

Walmart has a fantastic offer in their clearance section, with a 504 count box of One & Done baby wipes for only $9.97, was $16.87.

If you buy baby wipes often (and you most likely do if you have a baby or even a small child), this is a fantastic deal that needs to stock up on wipes. If I still had a baby in diapers I’d be getting quite a few boxes, because we went through these like wildfire. Huggies is my brand of choice for wipes because I find they are thick, rub smoothly along (nothing worse than a wipe that gets “caught” and your hands go further than you’d want!) and sometimes only one will do it. The One & Dones are just that – they allow you to clean up the mess in one go because they are extra thick. These are also perfect for spills, face washing and even for cleaning on the fly! It looks like it is the “refreshing” scent, which would also give you that clean smell on whatever these wipes touch.

I wouldn’t wait too long to get this deal as something like this could ultimately sell out quickly. There are eight packs in the one box and they are the refill packs, which will go into the wipes container you already have. I do find that you can use them right out of the package but they dry out faster.

I’ve got another great bonus for you, and that is that Walmart also ships for free. So buy one, or buy ten, you’ll only pay for the cost of the wipes.

Walmart Canada: Twin Pine Bunk Bed Only $178

Posted by on March 29, 2014 at 12:00 PM

Walmart Canada: Twin Pine Bunk Bed Only $178

Walmart has a fantastic and frugal deal for those with many children who need to conserve space and sanity. Get the Dorel Twin Over Twin Pine bunk bed for only $178, originally $248. While the original price is already low, getting the price down below $200 is even nicer!

When my older boys, who are barely a year and half apart, were little, we decided to let them sleep in the same room to make an office out of the third bedroom. We needed a better solution for sleeping since their room was small. We actually found a bunk bed just like this for free on kijiji! We scooped it up but then found out it was broken so we couldn’t do the bunk bed thing. Fortunately there was enough room to do the beds side-by-side and they looked nice because they matched. We still have these beds, but my crafty and handy husband has painted them to match the theme in their own bedrooms. They look really great. So, although this is a bunk bed, you could also use it as two separate beds now, or when the time comes and you are paying less than $100 a bed!

The bed is quite simplistic, but I like that. It has some detail at the head and foot boards, and there is a safety rail on the top bunk and a four step ladder for getting up there. You might like this bed for a kid who has a lot of sleepovers too, and it would be perfect for a cottage where you might get a lot of overnight guests. At this price, you can’t fail.

Because this is Walmart, this item will also ship for free.

Walmart Canada: 25% Off Corelle Dishes

Walmart Canada: 25% Off Corelle Dishes

If you are looking for a new set of dishes because yours are broken or missing, Corelle is a great brand. Walmart has 25% off sets of Corelle dishes right now.

Corelle is known as the unbreakable dish. My grandmother told me this when I was at her house one Thanksgiving, but I told her she didn’t know my kids well enough. For some reason, I do think they proved her wrong and a Corelle dish broke, but it could have been an imposter. I actually have a few pieces of Corelle and so far so good – they have lasted longer than the wedding dishes I got as a gift that were beautiful, but totally breakable.

If you are a foodie, you know that white is the best colour to show off your food. This winter frost white 76 piece dinnerware set has everything you need and is just a simple white. Was $179.93, now $158.

If you don’t need a full, large set like the one I just mentioned, check out the Corelle Square simple lines 16 piece set. I actually have this set and it looks nice. The black lines and square plates add just a little bit of detail, but not too much that you are overwhelmed. Was $62.97, now $49.84.

If you love whimsy, then the Corelle Square happy days 16 piece set is for you. Was $62.97, now $49.84.

Shipping is absolutely free!

Walmart Canada: LeapPad 2 Barbie Bundle Only $60

Walmart Canada: LeapPad 2 Barbie Bundle Only $60

If you haven’t yet made the dive into the LeapPad world, now might be the time with this deal from Walmart. Get the LeapPad 2 for only $50, was $ Get the LeapPad 2 Barbie bundle for only $60, was $80 at Walmart.

As I’ve blogged many times before, my kids have LeapPads. They actually have the first ones, and I spent well over $100 for each one, so this deal on the LeapPad 2 seems really good to me. Since it is the Barbie bundle, I’m going to assume mostly girls will want this one, or boys who love Barbie. Not only do you get the LeapPad, but you get so much more like a fashionable glam carrying case, eight glamourous wallpapers, rhinestone stickers, nine apps plus a $20 app card! That means you really only pay $40 for the tablet and case, which is seriously a phenomenal deal.

It looks like any other LeapPad 2s are sold out, and I see why, since they were only $50. This is your next best deal, and actually probably even a better deal with the addition of the bonus items and the app card, which you will inevitably use.

Read the review, which is very comprehensive and talks about how the reviewer’s girls use the pad for school work and even for their French Immersion homework and learning.

Shipping is always free from Walmart, just as it is at all of the other stores on our free shipping page.

Walmart Canada: Disney Minnie Mouse Quad Just $45 (Was $68)

Walmart Canada: Disney Minnie Mouse Quad Just $45 (Was $68)

Walmart Canada has an amazing deal on the Disney Minnie Mouse Quad: originally priced at $68, it’s now on sale for just $45!

Did you know that quads for kids can actually be really quite pricey? Well all kids’ toys are expensive, so I guess that shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, but the thing that really made my mouth drop is the fact that Walmart has plenty of other motorized riding toys at prices you wouldn’t believe. Take for instance the Fisher-Price Power Wheels Cadillac Escalade EXT: its price is a whopping $479.93! With that same amount, you could easily get a pretty good tablet or even the new iPhone 5s!

Granted, the Escalade one can go up to speeds of 8 km/h and the Minnie Mouse one has a speed maximum of 2.4 km/h but it really makes no difference at that price, especially since I doubt any parent would want their little princess riding at crazy speeds! Walmart Canada: Disney Minnie Mouse Quad Just $45 (Was $68)

This is exactly why even though my bun is still cooking in the oven, I’m actually extremely tempted to get the Disney Minnie Mouse quad now and to stash it away until she’s old enough to ride it. Notwithstanding the amazing price, the comments are all pretty convincing as well with a resounding 4.5 stars out of 5. In fact, here’s what one reviewer commented on it:

I bought 2 of these for my granddaughters and they are wonderful. Just the right size for little ones to handle. Very good value and cute as anything too!

Walmart Photo Centre Freebie: Free Catching Fire Poster Or Mug With Purchase Of 60 Prints

Walmart Photo Centre Freebie: Free Catching Fire Poster Or Mug With Purchase Of 60 Prints

Can’t get enough of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire? We don’t blame you as neither can we! In fact, neither can the Walmart Photo Centre since they’re giving away a Catching Fire mug or poster absolutely free when you print 60 pictures sized 4×6″.

The great part about this freebie is that if you have been meaning to print pictures for the longest time, then now is definitely a great opportunity to do so since free stuff makes everything better!

Personally, I would definitely go for the Catching Fire mug with the mockingjay pin but if you’re a fan of Jennifer Lawrence and really, who isn’t nowadays, especially with her ever growing funny moments, then one of those with her standing next to Josh Hutcherson is definitely one worth picking.

As for anyone with kids, especially teenage daughters, then the poster of Jennifer Lawrence as Katness Everdeen in the wedding dress would surely be a welcome addition to any decor.

Simply print 60 prints sized 4×6″, which start at $0.19, and pick them up at your nearest Walmart PhotoCentre to then choose and receive your freebie in-stores.

Walmart Canada: LeapPad Games Only $20

Walmart Canada: LeapPad Games Only $20

Walmart has a ton of LeapPad Explorer games on clearance, now only $20, was $29.96.

If you have a LeapPad or are thinking of getting one, now is the time to stock up on games. These aren’t just the old games on sale, even some of the newer ones are only $20. My older kids now have tablets so they don’t pay attention to their LeapPads, but my youngest is right into it.

Here is just a taste of the games on sale:

While my older kids aren’t that interested in their LeapPads anymore, I do think it is still suitable for older kids, especially the games like Sponge Bob that are geared towards 6+. The LeapPad is also a lot more durable and kid-friendly for a child than any tablet. You can feel good about your child playing with it alone in his/her room, whereas with a tablet you have to take quite a few more precautions.

Walmart Canada: Steel Fire Pit Only $43 (Was $68)

Walmart Canada: Steel Fire Pit Only $43 (Was $68)

Think about fires on your back deck, cold beers, marshmallows and good friends. Now think of saving $25 on the cost of a steel fire pit at Walmart, paying only $43.

This item is not huge, which I think is perfect.  You don’t need a raging fire in your backyard, choking out all the sleeping neighbour kids in their bedrooms. I say this because this is what happened to me when one of my neighbours had a giant fire in their backyard, a mere 12 feet from my bedroom and way too close the fence too! Besides that, having a nice, small fire on your porch is a treat. There is something about sitting around a fire to make people calm, open up and have fun.

This one is 30-inches, with an antique bronze finish and steel legs. The porcelain grate to keep the fire in and fingers out is fire-resistant and the poker is also included.

Walmart always offers free shipping, which is a really nice bonus. If you like that kind of a bonus, you need to check out Bargainmoose’s free shipping page, with more stores who offer free shipping with no minimum spends.

Walmart Canada: Cat Litter Deals

Walmart Canada: Cat Litter Deals

Walmart Canada has a bunch of cat litter on sale and clearance that will save you money on scooping up after your furry friend.

I found the following deals:

I’m currently using the MAXX litter for my cat and this is a pretty good price since it seems like one is always going through litter. I have never tried the Fresh Step litter which seems like a higher quality litter given the original price. 20lbs converts over to around 9kg so you are getting a slightly better price on the MAXX but the quality of the Fresh Step may be better. I included the deal on the natural litter in there. I know several people who use natural litter. I admire them because it is a higher expense but much better for the environment.

Shipping is free from Walmart Canada.
