The Bay Canada: B2G1 Free Men’s Underwear

Posted by on February 11, 2014 at 9:30 PM

The Bay Canada: B2G1 Free Mens Underwear

The Bay Canada has a great selection of men’s underwear and thermals where when you buy two you get one free. That is a 33.3% savings so certainly worthy of your attention.

Enjoying a long cold winter? Pick up some thermals. This Thermal Long Sleeve Shirt is priced at $29 and you can grab a matching pair of Thermal Longs  for $29 – both from Stanfield’s. If you buy those you can then get a Joe Boxer 2-Pack Loose Cotton Boxers that costs $29 for free.

You have a lot of choice in this sale. There are fitted boxers, boxers, briefs, boxer briefs, trunks, tank tops, crew necks, thermals, athletic shirts, and more. There is also a much greater selection than black and white to choose from: there are some fantastic electric colours and fun patterns for those who enjoy brightening up their wardrobe from beneath.

I added things of unequal value to my cart to see which item it took off and it appeared to take off one-third the price of the cart instead of just the lower priced item which is the best way these things can happen.

Shipping is free on orders of $99 or more.

Kallone Canada: 50% Off Blush Lace Chemise – Now $34

Posted by on February 11, 2014 at 7:30 PM

Kallone Canada: 50% Off Blush Lace Chemise Now $34

Kallone is a Canadian lingerie website new to Bargainmoose. They are offering 50% off this lovely Lace Chemise by Canadian lingerie designer Blush. Originally $68, the Chemise is on sale for $34.

The semi sheer lace chemise is made of layers of floral allover lace. It is is 31″ long and  is available in sizes from extra-small all the way up to extra-large.

The chemise is available in teal (my favourite) or grey. The deep ‘v’ front is very flattering with a little bow highlighting the center gore. This piece comes from the Sweetest Sin collection. The unlined, unpadded cups are lined with a 1/4-underwire along the side slope of the breast and partway below to support the bust. The straps are slim but adjustable so they do not slide off your shoulders.

I couldn’t find a set shipping rate on the website so I stuck this chemise in my cart and put in my address. To get it shipped to Vancouver Island would cost $10. The price may vary depending on the destination. Even with the shipping fee I am still saving $24 off the original price of this lovely chemise. It would make a very nice Valentine’s Day gift too.

Chapters Canada: 50% Off Select Books

Posted by on February 10, 2014 at 10:30 AM

Chapters Canada: 50% Off Select Books

Normally I’d tell you Chapters has a sale on a specific book or genre of books, but in this case, they have a few different titles and types of books on for 50% off. I price compared these books as well, because often, Amazon’s price will already be as low or lower than Chapters 50% off price. Not this time.

Two of the most notable books on sale this week are only on sale for Monday and Tuesday. These are:

Love Sense: The Revolutionary New Science of Romantic Relationships. This books tells us that people are meant to mate for life and our romantic relationships are an attachment bond, not unlike that of mother and child. It outlines how to keep your love relationship for life. This sounds like a great read for any married or attached couple. Was $30, now $15.

Hold Me Tight: Seven Conversations for a Lifetime of Love. This books sounds much like the one above, with a bit of a therapy element to it, probably best for those couples whose relationship is experiencing some trouble. Was $29, now $14.25.

Both of these books would make fantastic Valentine’s gifts for those who want to get the conversation started again.

On top of those deals, Chapters also has 50% off select Final Fantasy titles and select Black History titles.

Shipping is free once you’ve spent over $25, so grab yourself a few titles. Winter is here to stay.

Costco Canada: $30 Off Anika Dresser Top Jewellery Box – Now $69

Posted by on February 9, 2014 at 9:30 PM

Costco Canada: $30 Off Anika Dresser Top Jewellery Box Now $69

It’s kind of funny seeing this jewellery box on special no later than a month after buying it for a friend on her birthday, and yet, here it is, bigger and cheaper! For a limited time, you can save $30 on this fabulous Anika dresser top armoire and get it for just $69.99 at Costco Canada instead of its regular price of $99.99.

With a java finish, this lovely jewellery box features a total of 5 drawers (3 small and 2 large), along with compartments on either side of it for necklaces and a lift top lid with a mirror. The top portion also has built-in padding for rings and overall, the entire jewellery box is made with a soft beige lining to keep your jewellery scratch free.

To give you an idea of the awesomeness of this deal, I searched around Sears for a jewellery box and those that I found simply did not compare in size and price to the Anika. Take for instance, the Traditional 3-drawer clear-top one: while it’s certainly elegant, it’s not nearly as spacious and is actually much more expensive ($39.99). Along the same lines, there is also the Traditional 2-drawer lift-top box but again, it’s much smaller and more expensive, at $79.99.

I have to admit that although I just bought a smaller version of this jewellery box for a friend, I most likely will be taking advantage of this deal for myself because it’s just too good to pass up — assuming you have the counter space to put it on! But rest assured that even then, it doesn’t require all that much room. Not to mention the fact that this would make for an awesome Valentine’s Day present as well!

Plus, shipping and handling fees are free, so you get what you pay for with no hidden fees!

iNetVideo Canada: Up to 70% Off Essential Chick Flicks

iNetVideo Canada: Up to 70% Off Essential Chick Flicks

If your Valentine’s plan is to snuggle up with your man or lady or your cat and watch chick flicks, then you are in luck. iNetVideo has essential chick flicks on for up to 70% off.

While I would never call myself a chick flick aficionado, I’ve pretty much seen and loved every movie on this list. I guess I am a closet romantic. Valentine’s Day is the ultimate time to have a chick flick marathon whether you are paired up or alone. Get all your single girlfriends to come over and watch these, pig out on popcorn and chocolate hearts and believe in the power of pure romance. I’m going to have to believe single people believe more in romance than married people, but these are still nice movies to watch and at such a discount, he’ll be begging you to get them.

My favourites:

  • Dirty Dancing – I’ve probably seen this one about 30 times because Patrick Swayze’s pained and innocent looks kill me. Although I always wondered why we couldn’t take the whole summer off to spend a cottage resort like this – was $15.58, now $7.49
  • The Bodyguard - when Whitney sings, you shut up and when she falls in love, you get out that ring – was $9.93, now $8.49
  • Knocked Up – because its seriously hilarious, although no one gives birth like that – was $30.99, now $7.99
  • The Wedding Planner/My Best Friend’s Wedding double feature – I have watched My Best Friend’s Wedding about a million times with my mom and we’ve been known to break out in “The moment I wake up…” on occasion – was $14.59, now $11.49

Shipping is $2.75 an item.

Forever 21 Canada: Valentine’s Day Offers 30% Off

Forever 21 Canada: Valentines Day Offers 30% Off

In honour of Valentine’s Day, Forever 21 Canada has a great deal happening.  Save 30% on both intimates and jewellery all the way until February 14th, 2014.

You will know which items are discounted because they actually already say the new prices in red.

You will notice that the intimates selection is pretty big including bras, underwear, pajamas, and even lounge hoodies. The jewellery selection is equally as big including rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces.

I like to update my jewellery often because it is an inexpensive way to update a look.  Instead of spending a ton of money on a new outfit, you can get a new chunky necklace or accessories and change the look of an older outfit instantly at a fraction of the price.

How awesome is this dreamy curb chain bib necklace that was $15.80 and is now just $11.06. This is the perfect example of a piece of jewelery that can completely change the look of an outfit.

I would suggest spending at least $60 on your order.  When you spend $60 or more, you will get free shipping on everything.

NewEgg Canada Marketplace Now Open – Shop For Watches, Household Items, Automotive & Tons of Other Items

Posted by on February 7, 2014 at 10:30 PM

NewEgg Canada Marketplace Now Open Shop For Watches, Household Items, Automotive & Tons of Other Items

NewEgg Canada isn’t just for technology anymore! Check out the Marketplace!

Usually we write deals here. We’re a deals website after all. But from time to time a new store pops up that we want to tell you about. This time it isn’t a new store per se but rather a new service offered by a store we know and love: NewEgg Canada. NewEgg Canada has launched their Marketplace. It’s similar to Amazon’s Marketplace and let’s other retailers sell their wares on a platform you trust. Sure you can go to the “Big Jim’s Downstairs Medical Supply Shop” website. But wouldn’t you feel better getting Big Jim’s quality tinctures from NewEgg? Yeah, me too.

The best thing about this whole setup is that the Marketplace is curated. You don’t have to just wander around a website, NewEgg is going to curate pages for you. For example, right now you can shop for watches, jewelry, appliances, electronics and even a scooter on their Valentines Page. I’m not 100% sure but I’d have to assume they are going to have a Christmas page, summer page, Canada Day page, etc…

Like I mentioned, the best part about this is that it all processes through NewEgg Canada, a company we here at BargainMoose love on a disturbingly deep level. Shipping will vary like it does through NewEgg, payments go through your NewEgg account, it all just works.

Keurig Canada: $120 For a Brewer + 27 K Cups + Carousel (& 20% Off Site Wide)

Piling on the savings, Keurig Canada has combined three amazing products into one delicious combo. Dubbed Cupid’s Tempting Trio, it includes a K60 Special Edition brewing system, 24 Van Houtte House K-Cups and a K-Cup carousel for just $119.99 (reg. $206.38). This deal is valid until February 25th, 2014.

If bought separately, the brewer comes up to $159.99, the carousel to $25.95 and the k-cups to $20.44 — so, at $119.99, you’re saving over 40% off! Heck, at this price, even I’m tempted to get this trio even though I already have a similar brewer and a pantry full of k-cups.

But I guess I’ll just have to contend myself with taking advantage of another super awesome Keurig promotion going on right now: 20% off all K-Cups and accessories, which expires February 17th 2014.

Not only can you stock up on your favourite k-cups and take immense pleasure in knowing that you’re saving loads, but you can also get an accessory, such as this Keurig stainless steel travel mug to make sure that your morning cup of energy stays piping hot all the way to work. Originally priced at $19.99, it can be yours to either enjoy yourself or give to a loved one for Valentine’s Day for just $14.39.

Even more exciting is that free shipping is also available on all orders, with no required minimum.

Are you a K-Cup fan? What is your favourite beverage to have in the morning?

7 Inexpensive Valentine’s Treats

Posted by on February 7, 2014 at 8:00 PM

7 Inexpensive Valentines Treats

As experienced Moosers, we all know that Valentine’s chocolate and goodies will go on sale on February 15th. This means you’ll pay full-price for any box of chocolate or heart-shaped gummies you might want to get your beloved(s). Moosers don’t pay full price! Instead, get out your apron and make your sweetie some treats. Your kids will love these recipes too. I mean, who doesn’t love heart-shaped ooohey-goodness.

7 Inexpensive Valentines Treats

What treat is simpler and more inexpensive than popcorn? Liven it up by adding white chocolate, heart sprinkles and even some candy hearts. I’d seriously swoon over this and you can get the recipe from Give me some oven.

7 Inexpensive Valentines Treats

Sugar cookies are not just for Christmas, thankfully. This is a task the kids will love to do, cutting out all those hearts and sprinkling all those sprinkles and the recipe from Smart School House is only eight ingredients long.

7 Inexpensive Valentines Treats

If popcorn and cookies isn’t your thing, give your head a shake and take a look at this cereal and pretzel mix that is unbelievably Valentines-ish. This treat is good enough to send with your kids to school, but also to give your secret admirer at the office. Pixels and Playbooks has the crazy simple instructions.

7 Inexpensive Valentines Treats

How about cupcakes? You like cupcakes? Seriously, who doesn’t? These very simple cupcakes can be made in any flavour (even get a boxed cake mix if you wish) and then decorated with any red candy or cinnamon hearts in an XO pattern, which if you didn’t know, is hugs and kisses. Special. Martha Stewart gave me this idea. We’re tight like that.

7 Inexpensive Valentines Treats

Cookies and milk – the quintessential treat – so simple, yet so good. Add a little love to it by making these really cute heart ice cubes made from milk and food colouring. I don’t always advocate food colouring, but in this case, it really adds a special touch. A Subtle Revelry has the instructions.

7 Inexpensive Valentines Treats

I am a sucker for a Rice Krispie square and one with pink hearts and icing are even the better! So easy, so tasty and so special. Cooking on the Side takes you there.

7 Inexpensive Valentines Treats

These red velvet cheesecake hearts will probably only be inexpensive because of the small portions you can serve them in and totally get away with it! Beautiful, no doubt delicious, thank The Novice Chef for this one.

Bargainmoosers, are you a fan of heart-shaped treats? Let me know in the comments below!
