75% to 80% Off Select Dresses @ Zara Canada (Prices From $13!) & FS on $50+

75% to 80% Off Select Dresses @ Zara Canada (Prices From $13!) & FS on $50+

I caught a glimpse of the dresses @ Zara Canada and knew I had to post. Right now, select dresses are on sale for up to 75 to 80% off with prices ranging from $13 to $23. Shipping is free for orders bigger than $50 or a flat rate of $4.95 for all orders under $50.

Zara has a few great choices for dresses right now on deep discount. A few of them would make a beautiful splash for Valentine’s Day. Sizing is a little spotty but it is worth digging a bit for some of these beautiful dresses.

I was peeking around some of the dresses at Zara and I found this beautiful Black Draped Back Dress. This dress was $60 but is now on sale for only $16. I absolutely love the draping on the back of the dress. I would not normally pick a dress with such a low back as I can only tolerate the alternatives to wearing a bra for so long. This dress however, is simply stunning and I would make an exception. If you have any big events coming up or simply want something romantic and sexy for Valentine’s Day, this could be your dress. The sizing is a bit spotty and it is only available in a small or medium. Ladies if you have it, you should flaunt it. I would probably pick a different pair of shoes than the black low cut Doc Martin style shoes with the silver toe the model is wearing.

Check out this flirty Satin Dress. This dress was $59.90 but is now only $15.99 and comes in a beautiful bright magenta colour. This time of year, I would probably wear this dress at home for my sweetie. I do not know how I could wear this beautiful dress out of the house in Canadian Winter without freezing. Once summer hit, this dress would make its way to the front of my closet. I love the crisscrossing straps in the back. I hope my strapless bra would cover well under this one.  I could see this dress working well if you have a Spring Break vacation in the works. This dress is currently available in sizes medium and large.

Take a second look at this Yellow Jumpsuit With Straps which was $39.90 Now $12.99. While a jumpsuit usually is not my thing, I bet I could pull this one off since it looks and swings like a shorter maxi dress. The yellow is a soft pastel that is perfect for summer or that Spring Break trip to Cuba you are now have planning in your head. This dress only comes in size small. I would throw this on over a bathing suit for walking along the beach. You could also wear it for dinner out later that evening with the right accessories and shoes.

As I mentioned up top, shipping is pretty reasonable. There are other items available in the sale section for Ladies, Men and Kids sections. It may not be too hard to reach the $50 minimum to qualify for free shipping. If you just want just that perfect black draped back dress, shipping is a flat rate of $4.95 for all orders under $50. You could also choose to pick up your items in store for free.

I do not personally own any of Zara’s clothes.  Please tell me if you order that black dress, I really love it but it is not available in my size. Bargainmoosers, are you a fan of Zara?

Forever Yours Lingerie: Up to 70% Off & $14 Off $50 Coupon

Posted by on January 29, 2015 at 4:00 PM

Forever Yours Lingerie: Up to 70% Off & $14 Off $50 Coupon

Forever Yours Lingerie has a massive sale with up to 70% off bras, panties, babydolls, slips, bustiers, and more. On top of that, you can use the following $14 off $50 coupon code that was just released!

Click here to shop the clearance sale @ Forever Yours now

  • Coupon Code: LOVEYOU
  • Discount: $14 off $50
  • Expiry: 5th February 2015

Together the coupon and the clearance sale will make all your Valentine’s Day wishes come true. You cannot help but come away with an armful of beautiful lingerie for yourself or your lover at these prices. Here is what I combined in my cart.

This Ohlala Cheri Floral Chemise is a winning piece. The teal piping, ribbon at the waist, and accenting flowers pop out on the black background. The back of the chemise is completely see-through so pair this beautiful chemise with a gorgeous pair of panties. Originally $74.99, the Cheri Floral Chemise is now on sale for $29.99. As a woman that loves lingerie, I would enjoy receiving this for Valentine’s Day myself. It is a beautiful piece. Sizes small, medium, and large are still available.

For something a bit frillier, you cannot pass up this Coquette ‘Pink Bow’ Bustier in pink with black bows and ruffles. The underwired bustier provides support. Boning around the body accentuates your curves and the black boning channels also visually accent the pink bustier. The cute bow print, velvet, lace, bows, and ruffles will have you giggling and bouncing in girlish joy. Originally $89.99, the Pink Bow bustier is now $29.99.

Now, I placed both the chemise and the bustier in my cart. $29.99 plus $29.99 comes to $59.80. However, after I applied the coupon code my total came down to $45.98. That works out to approximately $22.99 apiece.

You can score so many incredible deals with this combination of sale and coupon code. Valentine’s Day is often thought of as the ‘red holiday’ so buy some red lingerie for your lover. This Coquette Corset with Lace comes in a black/red combination. Originally $119.99, it is now on sale for $39.99 in a size small. The black/blue version has a few other sizes available. Throw in a pair of Dreamgirl Red Fishnet Panties on sale from $14.99, down to $5.99.

Shipping is free on orders of $199 or more. However, I would not worry about that because flat rate shipping is only $8. With the deals you are getting it is well worth paying $8 for shipping.

Looking around deals for the Toronto area, I found a massage aromatherapy session for 2 reduced to $129 with a value of $240. With the code, it further comes down to just $103.80 or essentially $51.60 per person. That is an absolutely amazing price to pay for a massage, especially since it also comes with a pedicure, wine, fruit and a cheese platter — wow! Surprisingly, this price actually covers a stay for 2 in a standard double-queen or king bedroom. Plus, up to 3 kids under the ages of 17 can stay for free. Hudson’s Bay: 424 Fifth Jewellery & Accessories up to 60% Off

Posted by on January 28, 2015 at 5:00 PM

Hudsons Bay: 424 Fifth Jewellery & Accessories up to 60% Off

If you are still looking for a special Valentine’s Day gift for your beloved, visit the clearance on 424 Fifth jewellery and accessories at Hudson’s Bay. Many jewellery pieces are up to 60% off and they would make lovely gifts for a significant other.

This Stacked Crystal Cuff first caught my eye because I tend towards the gothic look – a lot of black – in my daily wardrobe. The cuff is finished with Swarovski crystals for brilliant shine. Originally $159, the crystal cuff is on sale for $63.60.

The clear bracelets are my favourite line from 424 Fifth by Lord & Taylor. The invisible Crystal Bracelet looks glamorous with decadent jewels in a gold-coloured setting. Yet the bracelet itself is clear so it simply disappears on your skin allowing the jewels to shine. Originally $79, the bracelet is on sale for $31.60.

My favourite bracelets are actually cheaper (so rare)! The Crystal Cluster Clear Cuff Bracelet in White is just lovely for someone who wants a little bling without making a huge statement. However, I just adore the Crystal Cluster Clear Cuff Bracelet in Red and it would make the perfect Valentine’s Day present. Originally $49, these bracelets are now $19.60 each. I am not alone in my preference for the red, this one reviewer said:

This bracelet is very nice the stones are well design and the ruby red is pretty. I would use it for a night out in the town or semi formal occasion.

As I mentioned above, there are accessories for sale as well. The Cable Knit Cashmere Blend Infinity Scarf was $129, and is now on sale for $51.60. The oversized cable knit design looks sophisticated enough to wear to the office. In addition, cashmere is a wonderfully luxurious fabric that will not only keep you warm but it also feels really soft against your face.

424 Fifth jewellery is exclusive to Hudson’s Bay as it is made by Lord & Taylor. I think the jewellery looks nice and for the clearance price, is a good buy. With Valentine’s Day approaching, a nice new piece of jewellery or an accessory might make a good gift if your loved one likes this sort of stuff.

Hudson’s Bay Canada offers free shipping on orders of $99 or more or on orders of $49 for HBC cardholders. Orders under the free shipping minimums start at $5.95 for shipping and go up from there.

7 Inexpensive Ideas To Spoil Your Sweetie This Valentine’s Day

Posted by on January 27, 2015 at 8:00 PM

7 Inexpensive Ideas To Spoil Your Sweetie This Valentine’s Day

Love is in the air and it is easy to let your pocketbook be caught in making some magic for Valentine’s Day. Receiving a dozen long stemmed roses or a piece of expensive jewelry is a lovely gesture and generally well appreciated but there are other ways to surprise your sweetie. Sometimes little gestures can mean just as much as the traditional expensive gifts. Here are some ideas to get you started in creating a fun day for your valentine.

Make Love Messages in the Snow

Grab your boots and coat and head outside early in the morning. You could also make your message the night before if there is no snow forecasted overnight. Then stomp out a heart or I love you message in the snow to your sweetie under their window. This is such a sweet gesture and does not cost anything except a little time. Alternatively, you could spread something colored on the snow such as rose petals or birdseed so your message is even clearer on the white snow. Another option if it snowed overnight and you park outside is to write the message on your sweetie’s car in the snow.

Grab A Coffee or Tea

This is one my hubby surprises me with once and a while and is always appreciated. He knows about my coffee addiction and will every now and then surprise me with my favourite coffee on his way home. Pick something your sweetie loves but may not order all the time for a real treat. For only a few bucks your sweetie will be impressed at your thoughtfulness. Just be careful not to drop the beverage on the way, ouch hot!

Go Ice Skating

Surprise your Valentine with a trip to a city rink and lace up your skates. Ice Skating is a great romantic couples date. If you are uncoordinated and wobbly, your sweetie help to keep you balanced. If you are a skating pro, hold hands as you enjoy the ice. Either way you are sure to have a few laughs and make some memories. If you do not already own a pair of skates consider borrowing a pair from a friend.

Bake or Make Your Sweetie a Treat

One year for Valentine’s Day I made my husband these inexpensive no-bake Oreo and raspberry cheesecakes in mason jars from Max and Me. This recipe made only 8 mini cheesecakes which was perfect to have one now and a few later. I do not typically make cheesecake at home so it was a big treat for him. The best part is it did not require much effort from me since they were no bake. The recipe calls for homemade whipped cream but I cut down on time with Cool Whip. We often will make homemade heart shape pizza for Valentine’s Day in our house and pair it with a movie night for a special treat. You can also go more traditional and make some heart cookies or other treats. Another fun idea would be to get a little flour on your nose, put on some cheesy music and decorate your treats together. If you are not the cooking type, stop by the bakery and pick up something tasty in a size just for two to enjoy over candles.

Print Some Photos

I have a ton of photos on my phone and 98% of them stay right there on my phone. The other 2% goes mostly to Facebook and other social sharing sites. It is likely your sweetie also has a phone full of photos that they only rarely look at. Grab some current photos and print them off. I am a fan of Costco’s printing for the combination of decent prices and good quality. Frame one or two for a simple and quick thoughtful gift. If you are ambitious and have a little more time, consider putting together a photo book or busting out the scissors and tape to make an old-fashioned collage. Whatever you choose, your Valentine will be thrilled at your thoughtfulness.

Clean The Car

This one is a bit more practical but very thoughtful. Steal your sweetie’s car and give it the full clean treatment. Wash the outside, clean the windows inside, wipe down the console and vacuum it. If it were me I would probably combine this gesture with something more romantic from above also, but a clean car is always appreciated. Leave a love note on the dash for an extra surprise when you are finished!

Top 10 List

Create a top 10 list of reasons why you love your sweetie and share it with them. This could include some of your favourite memories from over the course of your relationship. Also make sure to include qualities you love about your Valentine or nice things that they do to take care of you.” Need a place to start? Check out this list of “365 reasons why I love you” from Advicenators for inspiration.

Up To 70% Off Valentine’s Gift Sets @ StrawberryNET (US) & Free Canadian Shipping!

Posted by on January 24, 2015 at 1:00 PM

Up To 70% Off Valentine’s Gift Sets @ StrawberryNET (US) & Free Canadian Shipping!

Here on Bargainmoose, we’ve got a dedicated email address signed up to various companies from all over the world, and we keep our eyes peeled for good offers for Canadians. I spotted one this morning from StrawberryNET, the US based site which sells cosmetics, beauty products and more. Just now, they’ve got a pre-Valentine’s sale on their gift sets, in which they are offering up to 70% off select items. PLUS, there is free worldwide shipping on all of these items!

StrawberryNET offers free shipping worldwide on all orders that are not fragrance-only orders. So, even if you order a small, low-value gift set such as this Cath Kidston Star Collection Lip Gloss Set (44% off) which is $11, that would get you free Canadian shipping – sweet!

In the gift set sale, you can choose from various categories such as skincare, make-up, perfume and men’s cologne.

Fragrance Discount & Shipping Surcharge

There’s a catch if you are ordering any of the fragrances though, and it gets a little complicated. Any fragrances get an extra 10% discount which is automatically applied at checkout. However, fragrance sets incur an extra $10 shipping surcharge at checkout. If you add any skincare, makeup or hair care product and your cart totals $35+, then free shipping will apply, once again. Keep that in mind when choosing your items!!

Example Deals

Customs & Duties Etc

If there are a few items you are interested in buying, split them into individual orders. That way, you will have less chance of your order getting stopped by customs and having to pay extra fees at your door. Technically, any order over $20 is liable to get hit… but as we all know here on Bargainmoose, you aren’t always picked on by customs and you can receive many items without any extra fees or trouble.

StrawberryNET Volume Discounts

StrawberryNET has a volume discount program, in which you get a little extra discount when you add more items to your shopping cart. E.g. Add 2 items, get a 1% discount on the order total. However, if you’re buying more items in one order, then you’re taking a higher risk of getting stopped by customs, as I mentioned above. I’d probably recommend you keep your orders small, as getting hit by customs would be a greater cost than the savings of the volume discount.

Chapters Weekends 15% Off Coupon is Back & Free Shipping Today!

Chapters Weekends 15% Off Coupon is Back & Free Shipping Today!

* Bump – the 15% weekend coupon is back this weekend, and today only (Friday), it overlaps with the free shipping promotion from Chapters! ***

Chapters Indigo has brought back its 15% off regularly priced toys, decor and fashion items coupon that is valid this weekend and could be valid on recurring weekends. This is your chance to get a discount on all of what’s new and hot at Chapters Indigo. I took a look and I’m very excited to make a few purchases myself!

Click here to shop @ Chapters.Indigo.ca now

  • Coupon Code: 15OFFWEEKENDS
  • Discount: 15% off
  • Expiry: 25th January 2015

I am a huge fan of Chapters Indigo and not just because it is full of my favourite thing – books – but because their toy and decor section is always stocked with fun and beautiful stuff! It is my go-to place to get gifts for family and friends and my oldest son loves it more than Toys R Us.

Although I’m telling you about this pillow, I really don’t want you to buy it, as I don’t want it to go out of stock on me before I buy it! The Alphabet pillow is completely my style and I actually used to have wallpaper in the home office of my old house very similar to this. Since I couldn’t bring that beautiful wallpaper with me, I could compensate with this gorgeous pillow in my new home office. While $49.50 is a bit steep even for this stylish pillow, I’d pay the $42.07 it comes down to after coupon.

There are some exclusions to this coupon and I’m sad to say Lego is one of them. But, there are lots of other new and exciting toys for kids in case you need one for a birthday party or just because your kid might not have enough toys after Christmas. We got my middle son a Snap Circuits kit for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. You should all of the projects he can make with it, from an alarm to a microphone and more. I’d recommend this Snap Circuits Jr set for any kid who likes putting things together and you want an alternative to Lego. It was $29.95 and is now on sale for $25.46 with the coupon.

As always, get free shipping on orders over $25 and get all your Chapters Indigo coupons straight from the forum.

7 Easy Inexpensive Valentine’s Day Decor Ideas For Your Home

7 Easy Inexpensive Valentine’s Day Decor Ideas For Your Home

Mi amore! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner including all of the hearts, sparkles and kisses that goes with it. The stores are already starting to tempt us with candy hearts and giant stuffed dogs professing their love. I like to spruce up my house with a few decorations for the holiday. While you can find plenty of shiny heart tinsel, I prefer to spend my cash on treating my sweetie instead of elaborate decor. Here is a great roundup of cute and easy ideas that you can put together to spruce up your holiday decor for Valentine’s Day while still keeping things cheap and chic.

1. Valentine’s Day Heart From Wine Corks

7 Easy Inexpensive Valentine’s Day Decor Ideas For Your Home

This cute upcycled craft will not cost you anything if you are already a wine drinker. This cork heart from Sand and Sisal looks amazing and is super simple. Grab a hot glue gun and some leftover wine corks and you are ready to create. Draw a heart on a piece of paper as your guide. Then place corks along the line making sure they touch. Once you have enough to create the edge of your heart you can start gluing. Another alternative would be to fill in the entire heart with corks on the inside also. You could then hang the filled heart on the wall and use thumbtacks to stick little love notes into it for your sweetie. I love that this craft looks expensive without very much effort.

2. Free Valentine’s Day Printable

7 Easy Inexpensive Valentine’s Day Decor Ideas For Your Home

I love free printable pictures to change up the look in my house for any holiday. All you need is a picture frame and a printer. Check out these free printable pictures from Soho Sonnet. Included are 7 cutesy printable pages with lots of hearts, flowers and modern prints and one cheeky one that says “I love you like a fat kid loves cake.” Add these to a picture frames with multiple slots and see if your friends notice the cheeky one. These freebies are available in three different sizes so they should fit whatever frame you already have in your house.

3. Melted Crayon Word Art

7 Easy Inexpensive Valentine’s Day Decor Ideas For Your Home

I really like this cute word art from Pieces By Polly. This blogger used trivets for the decoration above but you could use canvas, wood or even cardboard as your base. Paint a base coat if necessary on your chosen canvas. Then cut out the letters and trace around it on to your canvas. You can choose to spell love, another word or even pick shape such as a heart. I would keep my shape or letters somewhat simple to keep the piece looking clean and modern. Melt the tip of the crayons in a candle then press the melted wax onto your surface around the outside of your shape. Repeat the process until your entire surface except for the letter or shape is covered. I like that this technique can be created on pretty much whatever you have already laying around the house. This would be so sweet for a little kid’s playroom spelling out their name also.

4. Candy Filled Vase

7 Easy Inexpensive Valentine’s Day Decor Ideas For Your Home

It is time to raid the candy section at the bulk store for this sweet craft. I love how simple this conversation heart vase is from A Day In My Life. All you need is two vases, one large that is clear and one small in any colour plus any small Valentine’s Day candy. Place the smaller vase inside the larger vase. Fill the space in between the two vases with candy. Viola!

The smaller vase in the center allows you to put water in for real flowers that your sweetie gives you. You could also throw in fake flowers for effect. If you are trying to give a hint you want flowers for Valentine’s Day, this might be a way to do it subtly. My husband is overall observant but I would probably throw a few flowers in it myself to finish the look. This craft also tastes as delicious as it looks.

5. Coffee Filter Valentine’s Day Wreath

7 Easy Inexpensive Valentine’s Day Decor Ideas For Your Home

Check out this beautiful heart wreath from Soccer Mom Style. I always seem to have cardboard laying around the house so that makes this project super easy. You can buy coffee filters for only a buck or two if you do not already have some. Simply create your shape out of cardboard and cut it out. You can poke holes to put in the coffee filters as this blogger has done or you could hot glue the coffee filters to the cardboard. I like how she painted the tips of the coffee filters red but you could really choose any colour. I will probably add a layer of glitter to mine with some leftover spray adhesive.

6. Paper Heart Garlands

7 Easy Inexpensive Valentine’s Day Decor Ideas For Your Home

If you can staple and cut, you can make this sweet heart garlands from Posed Perfection. This is another versatile idea because you can use any kind of paper and string you already have handy. Solid red, pink and white paper looks great in this garland, but you could easily jazz this up with pages from an old book or leftover scrapbooking paper. For an alternative version of this garland, check out this curlier version at How About Orange that is strung on clear thread.

7. Valentine’s Day Countdown

7 Easy Inexpensive Valentine’s Day Decor Ideas For Your Home

Add a little suspense and excitement to the holiday with a countdown. This decoration idea serves double duty as treats and decoration, my kind of home decor! Click on over to this easy advent calendar style countdown from The House of Smiths. Paper bags, doilies and glitter are all inexpensive to pick up if you do not already have them on hand. The countdown numbers on the bags are made of vinyl, but you could easily write the numbers on yourself with a marker or some glue and more glitter. Fill the bags with whatever treats will excite your favourite sweetie.

Skip the flimsy cartoon hearts this time. Instead use these ideas to create your own decorations. Without a ton of extra effort you can have fun decorations that will look chic in your home.

Birks Canada: Up to 50% Off Jewellery & Free Shipping

Posted by on January 22, 2015 at 6:16 PM

Birks Canada: Up to 50% Off Jewellery & Free Shipping

Birks Canada is offering up to 50% off beautiful jewellery during their Winter Sale. Save on necklaces, earrings, bangles, rings, and more. These make wonderful Valentine’s Day presents.

In the sale, there is jewellery for every budget. I will pick out something from a few different budgets to highlight some of the items for sale.

Under $100

While this is one of the hardest budgets to keep to when at a nice jewellery store, you do have a few options. I recommend the Sterling silver and round peridot ring size 5 that is on sale from $145 down to just $57. The Large sterling silver dog charm will look lovely on a charm bracelet and celebrate our love for man’s best friend. Originally $175, it is now on sale for $88.

Under $250

Perhaps my favourite price category, $250 gives you some wiggle room. These BIRKS MUSE™ Amethyst earrings in rose gold were $325 and are on sale for $195. I love the deep purple stone with the gold lattice back.  The Di Modolo Medallion Ring with Black Topaz was $425, and is now on sale for $213. While the description says the ring features a black topaz, it looks rather blue to me.

Under $500

This Ceramic White Gold For Her watch truly is a must have and is over 50% off. The watch originally cost $1,040, but is on sale for $416. If a necklace is on your wish list, this Di Modolo Lolita Necklace with Aquamarine is on sale for $525 down to just $262.50.

Over $500

You could really buy a lot in this category. Trying to keep it still reasonable, I found this Tahitian pearl and diamond ring on sale from $1,650 to $990. The ring is made of 18 kt white gold and has one 9.0 mm to 10.0 mm Tahitian pearl in the center. I like Tahitian pearls because they are black.  There are 18 diamonds accents with a total carat weight of 0.17 ct on this ring.

The BIRKS watch with anti-reflective sapphire crystal is also a very good deal. Originally $1,250, the watch is on sale for $625. There are several more watches in the sale and they are all at very good discounts, most 50% off or more.

Shipping is free across Canada at Maison Birks. While they mention something about duty, I do not believe that applies to Canadian orders as my cart had GST and PST charged on it as is normal for a Canadian order. Perhaps if you are getting something custom made, it would apply.

Today Only- Take 40% Off Everything Sitewide @ Shutterfly (EXPIRED)

Posted by on January 21, 2015 at 1:04 PM

Today Only Take 40% Off Everything Sitewide @ Shutterfly (EXPIRED)

Shutterfly has a sweet deal right now where you can take 40% off every order. This order is good through today only, so now is the time to create! Shipping varies drastically depending on the item you create so watch your cart carefully.

Click here to order awesome pictures @ Shutterfly now

  • Coupon Code: LUV40
  • Discount: 40% off everything
  • Expires: 21 January, 2015

I have seen codes at Shutterfly before but it is not generally on the entire site. This code can be an amazing deal when you start considering some of the personalized gifts that are not normally on sale. If your sweetie drinks coffee or tea at a desk or at home then snag a Love ceramic mug was $18.99 now $10.19. What a great Valentine’s present, especially if you fill it full of your sweetie’s favourite hot beverage. Eva also mentioned the stainless steel travel mugs were a great value when she blogged about another deal Shutterfly had last fall.

This is also a great time to get some photos up on your wall in style. Take for instance this Pictogram Collage Canvas print in 8X10 or 12X12 format. This canvas print was $69.99 but using the code is now only $41. I would love to put some winter and family pictures from the holiday on this canvas and update my walls a bit. I always like the look of photos printed on canvas but usually cannot justify the additional cost.

When I ordered from Shutterfly in the past, I generally ordered photo books. When I create a photobook, it usually generally takes me more than one day to put one together. By the time you finishing customizing and tweaking, it can take a while to get it to look just right.  Shutterfly does give you an option to auto fill the pages using your photos, which is helpful to speed up the process. I found the quality of Shutterfly’s books was overall very good.

There are many different options for photo books. The lowest price one I see starts at $12.99 and ranges to $74.99 for the starting price depending on the size. With the coupon code, you can score a photo book starting from $7.79 to $44.99 depending on the size you choose. Shutterfly also gives you many opportunities to customize along the way. These upgrades can drastically change the look of the finished product but will add to your cost so tread carefully with add-ons.

If you are a new Shutterfly customer, you can receive fifty 4X6 prints free. This deal stacks with the 40% off promo. The prints would normally cost you $7.50 so a great little value. This promo is added automatically to your account if you are a new user and you have a month to use it. If you are already ordering then throw your free prints in at the same time.

Unfortunately, Shutterfly does not let you stack most coupon codes. There are other coupon codes available in our forums including SHIPCAN that gives you free shipping off any order to Canada over $70.  I would consider the free shipping coupon for my photobook that I did not manage to finish today.

Shutterfly is a bit hazy if they charge duties and fees at the door in Canada. I have never had a problem personally with being charged duty or fees at the door. They do have a disclaimer up that you might have a fee but I think it is because they ship to over 100 different countries.

Bargainmoosers what do you like to personalize with photos?

Skittles & Starburst Fun Size Packs (50 Count) | Was $9 Now $5.37 @ Amazon.ca

Skittles & Starburst Fun Size Packs (50 Count) | Was $9 Now $5.37 @ Amazon.ca

Yum, Skittles and Starburst! Check out this 50 pack of fun size Skittles and Starbursts. Originally $9 you can now score a box for only $5.37. Free shipping is available if you spend a minimum of $25 on your final order @ Amazon.ca.

On the horizon are several holidays that would be perfect excuses to taste the rainbow and pick up these Skittles and Starbursts. This box includes 50 fun size treats perfect for Valentine’s Day. They would easily stuff into Valentine’s Day goody bags or can be attached to paper hearts to give to your friends.

I will make it even one step easier for you. Here is a free printable for a Skittle’s Valentines from Kreations By Kara. For the Starbursts, here is a free printable to make Starburst Valentine’s from it’s Always Autumn. Look at that! You can click, print, tape and have those Valentine’s done in no time at all. Everyone will think you are so clever. If you and your friend both show up at a party with the same Valentines, you can have a great laugh about how much you both love Bargainmoose.

Alternatively, if you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with any kind of event or party this pack of candy could come in handy. Since both candies are in rainbow colours, they make a natural pairing with leprechauns, rainbows and pots of gold for St. Patricks Day. Or you can eat some candy yourself while you have a nice green beer.

These are a bit tricky to price compare. I did find a similar sized box of Starbursts and Skittles at Walmart for $8. The kicker is the candy is only available in store and you will still pay more.

I think this is a great deal on candies that can be used for multiple holidays. I find that often the only individual fun packs that go on clearance or sale are packs geared to a specific holiday, making it difficult to give out later. You look a little strange giving out green and red Christmas candy on Valentine’s Day.

Eva, one of our long-time Bargainmoose bloggers, recently posted about M&M’s on Amazon that were at a great price. While the M&M’s on that post sold out quickly, I noticed the 130 gram 12 pack Snickers Bites Eva mentioned are an even better price today. The pack of Snickers Bites was $34.68, dropped to $17.45 the other day and today has dropped even lower to $14.21.

If you do have a taste for M&M’s check out the M&M’s 48 gram 24 count box was $30.96 now $9.88. I would probably stash these away for sliding into my bag when I go to the movie theatre. They will be a great treat unless the kid finds them first!

Free shipping is available for orders over $25 every day at Amazon. Throw a couple different candies in your cart and your sweets can be headed to your house with free shipping in no time. Or pair it with that Valentine’s Day gift you have been meaning to order.

Bargainmooser,s what is your favourite candy to give with Valentines?

Get a Free V-Day Card Shipped To You Free From Kulapix With Promo Code

Get a Free V Day Card Shipped To You Free From Kulapix With Promo Code

Want to make a custom card for your beloved and get it absolutely free? Use the coupon code below to get a free custom Valentine’s Day card from Kulapix and you don’t even have to pay shipping!

Click here to make your card @ Kulapix.com now

  • Coupon Code: SENDLOVE
  • Discount: Free card
  • Expiry: 6th February 2015

What’s too cool about this card is that you can get it sent right to your recipient, rather than have it sent to you. There is a limit of one per household, so I wonder how that would work if you are sending it elsewhere? I think I’m going to send one to my own family (my husband and kids) and if it allows I’m going to send one to my mom from the kids.

You have your choice of a 5×7 portrait style card or 5×7 folded portrait card. It also includes the envelope. The folded card is regularly $2.90 and the portrait card is regularly $2.75 plus shipping, so while the card isn’t a huge savings, just getting one card and not having to pay the shipping is.

There are quite a few styles to choose from for designs for your card, or you can design your own. I like that I can upload my photos right from Facebook as I don’t have all my photos on the computer I use most regularly.

You can also choose the colour of envelope you want, with every colour of the rainbow represented.

I have to admit, I did have some troubles getting the card to work with a photo from Facebook. But, I went to my other computer and used a photo from the computer and it worked like a charm. The card looks very cute and I picked the elephant themed one. I’m sure my husband will appreciate it.

Kulapix also has 30% off all products and free shipping right now, so if you wanted to get something else for your beloved, this is the time. You still have lots of time to order before the deadline for shipping to get it by Valentine’s Day. Check for all the latest Kulapix coupon codes in the forum.

Hudson’s Bay: Up to 50% Off Swarovski Jewellery

Hudsons Bay: Up to 50% Off Swarovski Jewellery

Hudson’s Bay Canada is offering up to 50% off Swarovski brand jewellery. Also this weekend, pay with your HBC Master or Credit card to receive an extra 15% off your order for most things – unfortunately this does not apply to Swarovski. See the fine print here.

Swarovski is one of the most sought after brands for jewellery. The brand themselves never offers sales, though you might occasionally find a gift promotion during the year. Thus, a sale like this is welcome and very rare. I own several Swarovski pieces myself and have always been quite pleased with the quality, sparkle, and beauty. For my wedding, I wore a Swarovski necklace and earrings as well.

Valentine’s Day is approaching in less than a month. If you have not bought your lover a special gift yet, then may I suggest this Ties Of Love Pendant. It features a red heart with a knot tied at the top. I think it is a lovely piece and certainly a step above the usual red heart jewellery. Knowing Swarovski, this heart will sparkle like mad when the light catches it. Originally $120, the pendant is on sale for $62.99. .

Now, if your partner is anything like me, they might want something in a different colour. I rather hate red so the coming holiday’s fascination with that colour always has me looking for alternatives. This Sensible Necklace is white and clear, yet no less beautiful. In fact, I prefer this dangling heart adorned with clear crystal pave to the simpler red crustal above. Originally $175, this necklace is on sale for $91.87.

The sale also includes plenty of bracelets and earrings. I have a pair of pink Swarovski earrings that I purchased in New York. Each time I wear them, it seems that someone complements me. I could see these Lunar Earrings also being a very big hit. The Indian Sapphire Crystal comes in a water droplet shape that will sparkle and shine. I think I like these better than my own earrings! Originally $85, the earrings are now on sale for $44.62.

Receive free shipping on orders of $99 or on orders of $49 with your Hudson’s Bay Card. If you do not already have the HBC card, now is a very good time to sign up.

Thanks to Lenny for posting this on the forum.

Harlequin Canada Coupon: 40% Off Site Wide

Go ahead and judge books by their covers at Harlequin because that is probably one of the only ways to truly find your next read! There’s no denying that you can, of course, read the description, but that isn’t nearly as fun. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Harlequin has released an incredible promotion for 40% off all of its books, but hurry because this amazing offer won’t last long!

Click here to shop for books @ Harlequin.com now

  • Coupon Code: SWNB214

  • Expiry: 17th February 2014

Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day or Single’s Awareness Day makes absolutely zero difference because Harlequin’s wide selection of books and short stories can be enjoyed under any relationship status!

If you need any inspiration as to what to read, then be sure to have a look at Harlequin’s Valentine’s Day Central page, where you can pick between categories such as Sexy Heroes, An Affair to Remember Sale or a couple of others.

On top of its wide and renown array of romance books, Harlequin also offers a variety of non-fiction books such as cooking, food and wine, crafts and hobbies, family and parenting and many others. So be sure to check those out as well for a chance to save.

Even better is that this coupon code is also valid on all eBooks… in case you would prefer to read your book in private without anyone peering over at the cover.

Groupon Canada: Get The Perfect Last Minute Valentine’s Gift

Posted by on February 14, 2014 at 2:30 PM

Groupon Canada: Get The Perfect Last Minute Valentines Gift

Looking for the perfect last minute Valentine’s gift? Groupon has it.

What’s great about Groupons is that they are mostly just print and go, so you can get them up until 10 minutes before your date. They have some really cool ones, which are perfect as Valentine’s gifts.

This Mystery Date Groupon really struck me as such a fun idea. For only $35, you’ll get two dinners and two alcoholic beverages with a value of $55. I think that is quite the steal and takes the grunt work out of planning the date. If the place sucks, you’ll have a good laugh and won’t have spent more than $40. This Groupon is available in the Ottawa area.

I’ve always wanted to do boudoir photos and am considering it for my next big birthday. This gift is for both of you, so you really can’t go wrong and price is out of this world. For only $75, you get a one-hour photo session and a $25 credit towards prints worth $250. This one is available for all the Vancouverites.

In Toronto, I found this painting party Groupon, which is held at bars and restaurants in the Toronto area and makes quite the unique date idea. It is only $27.50, but worth $45.

Take your date on a race car adventure in Halifax with the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience. For only $64 (value of $129), you’ll get 1 hour of laps in a ride-along experience.

These Groupons all make unique and thoughtful gifts for your loved one if you waited until the afternoon on Valentine’s Day to decide you wanted to get something.

There are plenty of other great ideas, so see what’s available in your city.
