Best Buy Canada: Dyson Absolute Upright Vacuum (DC29) | Was $600 Now $400

Hey there, my fellow deal hunters! Did you miss out on the recent deal on the Dyson DC23 vacuum at Hudson’s Bay? Well, today’s deal at Best Buy Canada is for a Dyson Absolute Upright Vacuum (DC29), which is an even better model of the vacuum (in my opinion). This high-end vacuum normally sells for $599.99, but you can now purchase this Dyson Absolute Upright Vacuum (DC29) for $399.99 – that’s $200 off the regular price! Another nice bonus is the fact that you’ll also qualify for free shipping! Just like the last Dyson vacuum deal, this one won’t be around for very long, so take advantage of this deal while it’s still available!

If you’re looking for a vacuum that you can rely on for many years to come, you should look no further than this Dyson Absolute Upright Vacuum (DC29). It’s an efficient, cost-effective bagless vacuum, and you can easily empty out the dirt that you suck up with it. It’s got plenty of power, too! You can learn more about the specific features of this premium Dyson vacuum by clicking on the link above.

I have an older Dyson vacuum, and it still works great! It’s from 2007, but it still hasn’t given me any problems! It sucks up dirt without any issues, it’s versatile enough for me to move around, and it’s very easy to clean. All I have to do to empty out the dirt in my bagless Dyson vacuum is press a button to unlock the cannister, then I simply release it into my garbage bin. It’s that easy.

If you wanted to buy this Dyson Absolute Upright Vacuum (DC29) from Sears today, it would cost you $599.99. I’ve included a brief review of this Dyson vacuum from a satisfied Canadian Tire customer below:

Great device. We have mostly hardwood floors with some carpet and this unit works great on both. Its pickup power is 2nd to none.

Happy hunting, my fellow deal hunters!

Best Buy Canada: Samsung Bagless Canister Vacuum | Was $300 Now $200

Posted by on November 1, 2014 at 9:00 AM

Best Buy Canada: Samsung Bagless Canister Vacuum | Was $300 Now $200

Is your current vacuum just not as powerful as it used to be? Perhaps it’s time to get a new one – when vacuuming starts to become too tedious (especially when you’re using a machine that requires you to go over the same spots repeatedly due to its age), then you should do yourself a favour and retire your machine. Thankfully, Best Buy is currently having a sale on their Samsung Canister Vacuum today! It normally retails for $299.99, but you can now buy this canister vacuum for $199.99. You’ll also qualify for free shipping – whoo!

This is a pretty nice deal – especially since you’re saving 33% on the regular price! This Samsung Canister Vacuum (model VC12F50HNDU/AC) comes with a 3-in-1 accessory pack, and has some sweet features, like a remote control handle that makes it easy for you to turn this machine on and off, a svelte bagless design, and an advanced HEPA filtration system. It’s also quite powerful, since it has Cyclone Force Multi Technology. You can read more about this bagless canister vacuum by clicking on the link above.

I currently use a Dyson bagless vacuum, and prior to that, I used bags. I can honestly say that you save so much by going bagless! Just think about all the dirt that needs to be removed when you’re vacuuming your home – especially if you’re vacuuming at least once a week, it won’t take long for those bags to fill up!

If you wanted to buy this Samsung Canister Vacuum from Lowe’s, it would cost you $299. I’ve included a brief review of this bagless vacuum from a satisfied Lowe’s customer below:

This Samsung works great. Has 3 levels of suction and you can feel it pulling the carpet. The power button on the wand is a great feature. And very easy to empty the canister. Before purchasing this particular vacuum, I read online reviews and this model seemed to have the least negative reviews.

Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

Lowes Canada: Bissell Power Foot Bagless Cannister Vacuum Only $90

Lowes Canada: Bissell Power Foot Bagless Cannister Vacuum Only $90

I mentioned that Sears is having a Black Friday sale this weekend for the Canadian Black Friday with Thanksgiving weekend here. Well, Lowes is doing the same and they have a few doorcrashers for you. One of the best I saw was on the Bissell power foot bagless canister vacuum cleaner, now only $89, with a regular price of $229, saving you $140.

Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful, but it is also a time that a lot of families get together and eat a turkey together. I’ll be away this weekend with my family, eating turkey and celebrating my and my youngest son’s birthday. I’m thankful that we both made it to another birthday as unscathed as possible! Thanksgiving might also be a time that young couples will have their parents over for a meal, as Thanksgiving doesn’t have the pressure that Christmas does. In doing so, you might realize that your home is not up to mom’s standard of cleanliness and really need a new vacuum. If you have $100 then this vacuum can be yours.

I looked around for price comparisons and found this vacuum selling on Amazon for $169.99. It was also on Amazon where I found six reviews for this product, giving it an almost 5-star rating. It is pretty amazing that you can get a vacuum for under $100 that has the praises that this one has, like this one:

Very efficient and affordable product. Just a little heavy, though. Very satisfied, would recommend it for any kind of small spaces.

One of the reviewers, who has two cats, said that this thing sucks up the hair like nothing. That is definitely something I could get used to as I have two cats as well, plus a dog and three kids. I need a good vacuum. I’m considering just getting this vacuum to have upstairs, while my Dyson stays downstairs and I don’t have to lug anything up and down stairs.

Shipping is free on this item as well, which is nice.

July 3 Hoover SteamVac Power Max with Clean Surge (Now $149.99, Was $299.00)

Posted by on July 3, 2014 at 10:30 AM Hoover SteamVac Power Max with Clean Surge (Now $149.99, Was $299.00)

If you are looking to invest in a deep carpet cleaner, you may want to check out this Hoover SteamVac Power Max with Clean Surge from for only $149.99 (regularly $299.00).

Whether you are the original owner of your home or you have inherited the previous owner’s carpet choice, I think we can all agree that there comes a time when the vacuum is just not cutting it anymore.

We have lived in our home for almost 12 years. We are the original owners. So we can only really blame ourselves for the state of our carpet (and our three boys, it’s really all their fault!). But most times, like pretty much everybody else, I don’t really notice how tired our carpet is looking, or I choose to ignore it, one or the other.  Either way, when I do decide to take my blinders off I can no longer bring myself to turn away. So a few years ago, against my husbands will, I hired a company to come in and clean our floors. My husband begrudgingly moved the majority of the furniture and when it was all said and done moved it all back. It took him a couple of days to truly appreciate it but in the end he admitted that it gave the carpets a much needed facelift.

Fast forward four years and I’ve been dropping hints that perhaps it’s time. However, in the meantime we did invest in a  small steam spot remover that has definitely been beneficial and has served us well. So I’m thinking that investing in a larger steam vac that we could use ourselves would be much more cost effective, plus we could truly incorporate this into our yearly cleaning schedule. Plus, at this price we would be even just after one clean!

This unit has received good reviews for the most part:

I didn’t realize how dirty my carpets were until I used this.
It comes in parts but is easy to put together and use and it doesn’t leave you with a soaked carpet afterwards.

with the only truly disconcerting piece to note, which seems to be prevalent across several different forums is in regards to ensuring the pieces are connected properly to avoid leaking. However I’m sure this is covered in the instructions:

The connections must be connected EXACTLY as directed or leaks will happen. If leaks are happening, reconnect them again. Mine leaked after the second time I used it but it was all user error. It works wonderfully and cleans upholstery and floors with minimal effort!

This item does qualify for FREE Super Saver Shipping!

Dyson Canada: Free Clean & Tidy Kit With Select Vacuum Purchase

Dyson Canada: Free Clean & Tidy Kit With Select Vacuum Purchase

Buy select full-sized vacuums at Dyson and you’ll get a free Clean & Tidy Kit worth $110.97.

I’ve mentioned before that I have a Dyson Vacuum, which we bought about seven years ago when the old Kirby I was lugging around just didn’t cut it anymore, considering I was six months pregnant and it was heavier than me. I was and am very happy with my Dyson’s performance over the years and I love that I don’t have to track down and spend exorbitant amounts of money on bags. I just open, dump and put it back on. We have had to replace two hoses and both were covered by warranty and shipped to me for free. I’d love to get a new Dyson, but unfortunately or fortunately, I don’t have a reason to since mine works great.

The free kit comes with the following vacuum purchases:

  • DC51 Animal
  • DC43 Animal
  • DC42 Multi Floor
  • DC42 Animal
  • DC29 Multi Floor
  • DC46 Turbinehead
  • DC46 Motorhead
  • DC37 Turbinehead
  • DC26 Multi Floor
  • DC23 Motorhead
  • DC23 Motorhead Animal
  • DC21 Stowaway

You’ll also get free shipping on your order, which is nice.

Costco Canada: Neato Robotic Vacuum Only $280 (Was $400)

Costco Canada: Neato Robotic Vacuum Only $280 (Was $400)

Get the Neato XV-12 robotic vacuum with pet and allergy kit for only $279.99, was $399.99.

I have to admit that the dog hair in my home has taken over. It has formed its own colony and is plotting mutiny. I really can’t fight it much longer and I really don’t understand how one dog has this much hair on the floor and is not bald. Vacuuming my entire house would take probably over an hour, and I would need to do it every day to keep up. Santa, please bring me a robotic vacuum for Christmas, pretty please?

This isn’t just any robotic vacuum either, it has the special upgrade kit with a high performance filter that retains more than three times the amount of fine dust particles than standard filters. It also has a special bristle and blade brush that helps to pick up pet hair and dander.

This smart vacuum also knows to avoid furniture. It scans and maps its plot against the hair and then attacks, always knowing where it is going and never hitting the same spot twice. It is the most powerful robotic vacuum available today.

Guess what? Shipping, as always, is included. Want to know what other stores ship for free? Check out our free shipping page.

Dyson Canada: $100 Off Select Vacuum Cleaners

Posted by on August 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM

Dyson Canada: $100 Off Select Vacuum Cleaners

Get $100 off select Dyson vacuum cleaners at Dyson.

I have had a Dyson for over six years and love it. It has truly proven itself to be a workhorse of a vacuum, and in my house that says a lot. I have three shedding animals, plus three of the other kind of animals (kids). My house gets messy! I would love a new Dyson model, but because this thing lasts so long, I have no reason to buy another vacuum.

The DC29 multi floor has Root Cyclone technology, which means it won’t lose suction and won’t clog because it spins the air so fast, it goes straight into the bag-less bin. What I’m missing from my vacuum in the pivoting ball, which makes turning the vacuum totally easy. The extending bar is awesome for getting high-up places and under beds. Was $499.99, now $399.99.

Dyson Canada: $100 Off Select Vacuum CleanersThe DC23 motorhead is more of a carpet machine, with a powerful motorized brush that really digs in to get out dirt and pet hair. It is asthma-friendly and very easy to store. Was $599.99, now $499.99.

You might be thinking buying a vacuum online is going to cost a bundle in shipping, but it is free shipping! You also get a two or five year warranty, which is handy when your hose gets a hole (as I well know).

Walmart Canada: Bissell Powergroom Vacuum Only $89

Posted by on June 24, 2013 at 12:00 PM

Walmart Canada: Bissell Powergroom Vacuum Only $89

Get the bagless POWERgroom PET vacuum for only $89, was $139, both in-stores and online.

I got a puppy earlier this year, and while I’ve had other dogs, they did not shed this much! I also have two cats and there is always hair everywhere. It’s so irritating! A good vacuum is so important and this POWERgroom vacuum is such a great price! With a patented attachment to collect pet hair from carpets and rugs, the Pet Hair Lifter is very unique. The hair collects on the lifter as you vacuum back and when you push forward it gets released into the suction of the Cyclonic system.

It also comes with the Pet Contour tool and the TurboBrush Pet. There are five height adjustments for different surfaces, which is very handy since vacuuming floors is much different than vacuuming carpet. The easy empty container makes it super easy to get rid of the collected dirt and pet hair.

Reviews are basically good on the machine, like this one:

I bought the Powergroom Pet Compact a few weeks ago and was very impressed with it’s performance. We’ve had a lot of expensive vacuum cleaners over the years but this one did the job the others couldn’t do. Our Border Collie and our cat sheds horribly but this little vacuum can clean it right up. Not only the hair but hairballs and spilled cat litter. The best money I never spent!

Shipping depends where you live and may be free.

Costco Canada: Hoover SteamVac Only $144.99

Costco Canada: Hoover SteamVac Only $144.99

Costco Canada is getting ready to do your Spring cleaning with a Hoover SteamVac for only $144.99, regularly $174.99. I couldn’t find it that cheap anywhere else and this price even includes delivery.

This item is definitely something I could use with three boys, including a toddler, a new puppy and two cats. I only have carpets on the upper floors, but after only three years of living in this house, they are already really dirty. We are in the process of starting our Spring cleaning today: moving furniture, dusting, getting rid of things we don’t need and organizing. Once everything is put away, we can get the actual cleaning done! This Hoover SteamVac would do a wonderful job on my carpets and would be a great addition to my household on a daily basis, to keep spills from becoming stains.

SpinScrub brushes clean all sides of the carpet fibre so you know you are getting a deep clean. Incredible suction and heated water get absolutely everything out of your carpets. There are two tanks, one for clean warm water and one for dirty cold water, with a 1L clean water capacity. It even includes a starter detergent.

Online reviews say this machine is amazing, that big messes are completely gone after using it and the carpet looks like brand new. They also say it is easy to use and handles very nicely.

Shipping is included in the cost!
