Free Ubisoft Game With Purchase Of Select GeForce Graphics Cards Or Notebooks

Whether you’re planning on building your own computer, know someone who is or are maybe even looking to buy a notebook, then there’s a chance that you could also get one of the following Ubisoft game for absolutely free: The Crew, Far Cry 4 or Assassin’s Creed Unity.

What makes this freebie even more incredible is that none of these Ubisoft games have even been released yet, which means that you will be getting a newly released game for free and will avoid paying the usual $69.99 price tag! They’re scheduled to be released on the following dates:

  • Assassin’s Creed Unity: November 11th 2014
  • Far Cry 4: November 18th 2014
  • The Crew: 2nd December 2014

Although this GeForce freebie is only valid on the following select graphic cards and notebooks, it’s still a really awesome one to take advantage of:

  • GTX 980
  • GTX 970
  • 980M notebook
  • 970M notebook

The complete list of retailers from which you can get these is available on GeForce’s site, but here are a couple of the major ones:

Each retailer also has a dedicated page from which you can easily browse the products eligible for the freebie but keep in mind that a couple of these will ship from the US and may incur higher shipping fees than their Canadian counterparts. For instance, although we frequently post and blog about Newegg.ca, this promotion only applies to Newegg.com, which may involve a higher shipping rate along with the possibility of duties and custom fees.

As such, I suggest that you price compare among the different sites to see which one would yield the lowest shipping rate. To avoid yourself the headache, first head over to either Canada Computers, Memory Express or NCIX as all three of these ship from Canada.

Once your purchase is complete, you can redeem the special GeForce coupon code that you will receive on their redemption page, which will then allow you to choose your free game.

Personally, I would totally opt for either Far Cry 4 or Assassin’s Creed Unity, both of which are highly anticipated games. Although both fall under the action/ adventure category, Far Cry 4 is a first person shooter game. So if you’re not too keen on first person shooter games, then definitely opt for the latter! WalMart Canada: South Park The Stick Of Truth For Xbox 360 | Was $40 Now $20

WalMart Canada: South Park The Stick Of Truth For Xbox 360 | Was $40 Now $20

If you’re a fan of South Park, a show that has surprised everyone (including its creators) by sticking around for the past 17 years, then chances are you’ll get a kick out of this video game. South Park The Stick Of Truth is a hilarious RPG – style adventure that features most of the characters from this long running TV series, and it has gotten heaps of praise since it was initially released earlier this year. For a limited time, you can get a chance to snag South Park The Stick Of Truth for a cheap price for the Xbox 360 system – as a part of WalMart’s anniversary sale, you can get this game for just $19.99 - it’s normally $39.99! Plus, you’ll get free shipping!

Role playing games tend to take more time to complete than your average platform game. In South Park The Stick of Truth, you start off the game by creating your own custom character, and you join Cartman in his quest to battle for the almighty Stick Of Truth. Yeah, the plot isn’t very deep, but all of the dialogue is pretty hilarious, and it feels like you’re actually playing through an episode of South Park – the graphics are spot on!

I played the PC version of this game when it was just released earlier this year, and I had a lot of fun with it. I didn’t find it very challenging (you can also change the difficulty level), but that didn’t really matter to me – I just wanted to see how the story unfolded. It was that intriguing. I wanted to see what easter eggs and little surprises that Ubisoft tucked away in this game. For longtime fans of the show, this game is highly recommended for the jokes and references to older episodes alone.

Currently, South Park The Stick Of Truth for the Xbox 360 costs $39.99 at Best Buy and Future Shop. I’ve included a snippet of a review of the game from a satisfied Best Buy customer below:

If you are a fan of the show you’ll love this game. So many references to events in the show all over the game. Only down side for me is that the fart jokes get stale quick, but the rest is great. The actual gameplay is really fun and the graphics are great in that you feel like you are really in the cartoon.

If you’re a South Park fan and you’re looking to laugh during your video gaming experience, you should try out South Park The Stick Of Truth. If you’re not a fan of the show, perhaps you should pass on this one. Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

Future Shop Canada 4 Day Sale: $70 Off PS4 Watch Dogs Bundle – Now $453

Future Shop Canada 4 Day Sale: $70 Off PS4 Watch Dogs Bundle Now $453

Still waiting to upgrade to a PlayStation 4? Then you might want to check out Future Shop’s four day sale, because during the next couple of days, the PlayStation 4 Watch Dogs bundle is down by $70 to just $453.49 (reg. $523.49).

On its own, the PS4 with one remote retails for $453.49 at Future Shop and $449.99 at Walmart. The Source has it on sale for $429.99 right now, but since you’re going to be needing a game to play anyway, then a bundle is the way to go. Costco has the Infamous Second Son bundle with two remotes for $564.99 and while it’s definitely worth it because it brings the price of the console down to just $363.22 ($65.89 regular price for each remote + $69.99 for the game), if you have no need for the second remote or don’t see yourself enjoying the included game, then the Watch Dogs bundle may be the way to go.

Since at Future Shop, Watch Dogs retails for $69.99, this means that with the bundle, you will actually be paying just $383.50 for the console on its own. Even better is that this is a highly acclaimed game with an average rating of eight out of ten. It basically revolves around the adventures of Aiden Pearce, a hacker who seeks to avenge the death of his niece. The cool part about the game is that you can choose to either perform the missions as a law-abiding citizen or in antagonism of the law. Here’s how one reviewer quickly summed up this game:

Two words: Awesome game!

Xbox fans will also be delighted to know that the Xbox One 500GB Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag bundle is also on sale for $503.49 (reg. $563.49). From the four day sale, there are also reductions on a couple of TVs, a washing machine, a laptop, speakers, cell phones etc. If you’re in need of headphones, then you might want to check out the Sony over-ear MDRZX310APB headphones as they’re now just $30.39 (reg. $50.39). They’re $49.99 everywhere else and can be used with a smartphone for hands-free use, have an integrated microphone, and the ear cups can even swivel! Another feature I particularly like is that the cord is a Y-type, which typically helps to reduce tangles.

Shipping is free or you can also reserve it in-stores to pick it up as soon as possible.

GameFly: Up to 75% off Ubisoft Games Including 50% off Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag

GameFly: Up to 75% off Ubisoft Games Including 50% off Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag

RayMan, Far Cry, Assassin’s Creed, Anno and Rocksmith for up to 75% off from GameFly!

Ubisoft really is one of the premiere game makers of our day but I feel somehow that they don’t get the credit as a company. Maybe it’s just me or my circle of people but it seems like everyone knows EA for their games, everyone knows SquareEnix for all their games but when you think Ubisoft you might just think of one specific series. When I think of Ubisoft, I think of Assassin’s Creed. But they have so many other games! Some of the great ones are on sale right now at GameFly:

Everyone knows (and most people love) Assassin’s Creed, FarCry and RayMan. The are great series that are established. I think the outliers here, Anno and Rocksmith, deserve your attention too, though. Anno is like a futuristic ecodystopian Civilization/SimCity mash up. Besides some fairly heavy propaganda, it looks and sounds like an awesome game and, although I’ve never played it, it’s definitely on my list. The other game kind of is but isn’t a game. Rocksmith basically lets you plug a guitar in to your computer and learn to play guitar. You can also learn bass. It’s like a real life Guitar Hero!

These are all PC digital downloads so there is no shipping. Prices are in USD.

Steam: Call Of Juarez Gunslinger + Far Cry 3 – Blood Dragon For $13 (Save 50%)

Steam: Call Of Juarez Gunslinger + Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon For $13 (Save 50%)

Get two awesome games for less than $15 from Steam!

I haven’t played either of these games, but I’ve heard great things about the Call of Juarez series. Actually, I heard the third installment, the one before Gunslinger, was pretty bad. Thankfuly this time they’ve gone back to the old west. I guess the previous one, The Cartel, was western themed, but in modern times. Anywho, we’re back to the old west and I’m cool with that.

Now, for Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, I’ll use the same quote as I used in a previous article. It’s from the Book of Knowledge, Wikipedia:

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is set in a dystopian 2007. Players control a ‘Mark IV Cyber Commando’ named Sergeant Rex Power Colt. Ubisoft describes the game as “an 80s VHS vision of the future” where the player must “get the girl, kill the bad guys, and save the world”. The game’s villain is Colonel Sloan, who commands the Omega Force, a cyborg army.

Mark IV Cyber Commando Sergent Max Power Colt fighting Colonel Sloan and the Omega Forge cyborg army? How can that be a bad thing?

These are normally $14.99 each, so $29.98 for both. You’re getting them both for $12.49. You end up saving $17.49 off the two games. Alternately, if you don’t want them both, you can get the individual games for 50% off their regular price. That’s $7.49 each.

These are digital download PC games, so no shipping.

Steam: Assassin’s Creed 3 for only $12 or Deluxe Edition for $24 (USD)!

Steam: Assassins Creed 3 for only $12 or Deluxe Edition for $24 (USD)!

Assassin’s Creed is better than you. Learn to be a better human being by picking up a copy of Assassin’s Creed 3 for only $12 from Steam!

I haven’t even picked up Assassin’s Creed 3 yet (a fact of which I am very, very ashamed) but it is the only PS3 game I have left on my “list of PS3 games to play before I get a PS4 for Christmas.” I just need to finish up FFXIII-2 first. Anywho, the whole Assassin’s Creed series is amazing. Like seriously top of the line games. This $11.99 price tag is an absolute steal. That is $17.99 off of the original $29.98 price. The deluxe edition is $23.99 and, unlike a lot of “deluxe edition” games this one actually seems like it’s worth it. From the book of knowledge:

The Digital Deluxe Edition features a retail copy of the game, George Washington’s notebook and the official Assassin’s Creed III soundtrack. In-game content included is three exclusive single player missions, two skins (The Captain of the Aquila’s uniform and The Colonial Assassin outfit) and two additional multiplayer characters (Sharpshooter and Redcoat). It also includes the Benedict Arnold DLC previously exclusive only to the PS3.

This edition is normally $59.98 even after it’s been out for almost a year. You’re saving $35.99. Fantastic deal! This is a PC only release so getting a PS3 exclusive DLC is cool.

Assassin’s Creed fan? Let me know in the comments below!

GameFly: 66% off Assassin’s Creed III + Other Ubisoft Games! (PC)

Posted by on June 29, 2013 at 7:30 PM

GameFly: 66% off Assassins Creed III + Other Ubisoft Games! (PC)

Assassin’s Creed is one of the most critically acclaimed video game series ever created and you can have its latest iteration for less than $14 from GameFly!

The game is normally $39.99 but you get it for only $13.59. That’s $26.40 off!

I love Assassin’s Creed. It’s one of my favourites and, for me, is in the same league as Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid. But even after all that praise I must ashamedly admit that I still haven’t played Assassin’s Creed iii. Actually, I’m right at the end of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and I want to finish that before I get Assassin’s Creed III. And of course Assassin’s Creed IV is coming out in later this year. I’m hopefully going to have a PS4 for Christmas and I have to imagine the PS4 version will be coming out around then.

This, of course, is the PC version of the game and it isn’t the only game available. There are a bunch of other Ubisoft PC games available so make sure you check those out too!

These are all PC downloads so there is no shipping.
