Town Shoes: Lacoste Athali 2 Sandal Was $90 | Now $27

Town Shoes: Lacoste Athali 2 Sandal Was $90 | Now $27

I am all for buying designer products at way less than designer prices. Currently, Town Shoes is offering up to 70% off in their clearance sale. I found these men’s Lacoste Athali 2 Thong Sandals on sale from $90 to $26.98!

The best part of this deal, besides the price, is the selection! The white sandal currently has all sizes, from 7 up to 13, in stock. The Lacoste sandal in black is only out of stock in size 7, all other sizes are available.

This sandal features a canvas thong strap that goes between your toes in order to keep the thong on. The foot bed is actually made of leather, thus it will mould to your own foot shape over time. Leather is extremely durable and makes an excellent, all-be it more expensive, foot bed choice. A rubber outsole pads your foot fall. Slip on sandals like these are perfect for summer! Pick your husband up a pair for around the yard and on the beach.

I really like the way Town Shoes Canada’s website works. Select the colour you desire (choose from the links above) and then pick your size. Once your size is selected, the website will give you an update on total inventory available. For example, there are 34 pairs of the size 10 black sandals currently in stock.

When it comes to shipping at Town Shoes, there are four options really.

1) Request your order be shipped to your nearest store. Shipping to your local store is free on all orders, thus you would not incur shipping fees.

2) Join the Town Shoes ‘Shoe Lover’s Rewards Club’ for free shipping on $35 or more (free to join). These shoes take you almost all the way there, and you might just want to get one in each colour. Shoe Lovers Rewards VIP members receive free shipping with no minimum!

3) Pay an $8 flat shipping rate.

4) All orders for non-reward members ship for free on purchases of $70 or more.

I couldn’t price compare these sandals very well as I could not find them elsewhere in Canada! Therefore, I just looked at price for other Lacoste men’s sandals. At ShoeMe Canada, Lacoste sandals retail around $115. I did find these Athali sandals at ASOS (UK/US) and the price was $108.37 CA (out of stock). Given the regular price for Lacoste sandals, I consider this a great deal.

The Shoe Company, Town Shoes, DSW & Shoe Warehouse – Up To 84% Off Plus An Extra $10 Off $40! (EXPIRED)

Posted by on May 30, 2015 at 10:50 AM

The Shoe Company, Town Shoes, DSW & Shoe Warehouse Up To 84% Off Plus An Extra $10 Off $40! (EXPIRED)

If you need new shoes (and even if you don’t), there is a fantastic deal going on right now at sister stores – The Shoe Company, Town Shoes, Designer Shoe Warehouse and Shoe Warehouse – that will get you up to 70% off, plus $10 off $40, plus free shipping on $35! Use coupon code THANKSFROMSHOECO to get your discount.

Town Shoes has an extra 20% off that you will see in your cart on any items sitewide. Just to make sure you are confused, once you’ve added an item from Town Shoes to your cart, your entire cart, even ones from the other stores will get an additional 20% off. But, you can’t use the coupon and the 20% off at the same time. When you add the coupon, it removes the extra 20% off it was showing you. You might have to play with your cart a little bit to see which promotion gives you the best discount. If you aren’t shopping at Town Shoes, the $10 off will be your best bet and it also will be if you are only spending $40. But, if you are planning on getting something from Town Shoes, the 20% off extra discount in your cart is the best deal. The code is really finicky and I found you sometimes had to take items out of your cart for it to work.

I did find an item that is on sale for 50% off, plus got that extra 20% off. These very unique Royal Canadian Grizzleez boots are available in the brown colour in quite a few sizes with an original price $120. They are on sale for $59.98 and come down to $47.98 in cart.

The only exception to the 20% off at Town Shoes is on Toms. Because you aren’t getting 20% off of these, you might as well use the coupon to get these classics for $45 instead of $55!

My favourite shoe store, hands down, is The Shoe Company. We get all of our shoes from there for the whole family. They have up to 70% off in their sale section right now. Interestingly enough, I found some great prices on Town Shoes on The Shoe Company site. These high back contrast Town Shoes are an amazing deal at 84% off. Regularly $195, they are only $31.98. Made in Italy with a leather lining in a yellow colour (black is sold out) with a 4″ heel, these are your go-to sexy shoes for that first date.

Because the cart is shared, you can buy from any of the other stores in order to get your total up to $40 to get the extra $10 off with coupon code (just remember what I said above about Town Shoes).

Designer Shoe Warehouse has a large clearance section, which is where you’ll find the best deals. I found these Pumas, regularly $79.99, now $47.88 and the site says compare at $100. Add the $10 off and you’ll get them for $37.88!

The last store on this list is Shoe Warehouse, which looks very similar to The Shoe Company to me. The items look very similar. I did find these youth girls Max great studded flats that were $24.99 and now $19.99. They might be perfect for adding to your cart to get your cart up to that $40 for the extra $10 off to use the coupon code.

Unless you want to pay $8 for shipping, why not sign up for the free Shoe Lovers reward program? It gives you free shipping on $35. If you don’t like rewards programs, you can get your total up to $70 and get free shipping that way.

Shoe Lovers Rewards: Totally Free Shipping From Shoe Warehouse, Town Shoes, The Shoe Company Etc

Shoe Lovers Rewards is the loyalty program from the Town Shoes group, which includes The Shoe Company and The Shoe Warehouse, brands with which I am sure you are familiar. You can sign up to Shoe Lovers rewards for free, and in return, there are a number of perks. First and foremost, it means you get to totally free shipping with no minimum required from all their sites!

As an example to show you the free shipping deal, I had a pair of these sale shoes in my shopping cart – the men’s Wilson Velcro Wide Wm 10290V-01 which were down from $49.99 to $29.98. After signing up to the Shoe Lovers rewards and proceeding through checkout, it showed zero cost on the expedited shipping fees. Nice!

A secondary bonus of the Shoe Lover rewards program is that you also can stock up on “shoe lover points” when you join and place orders. By joining, you automatically get 500 free points, then more points as you place orders. For every 2000 points you collect, you get a $10 reward certificate to use in-store. And then once you accumulate 6000 points, you become a Shoe Lover VIP which then entitles you to further perks, such as VIP in-store events, and a higher amount of points per dollar spent.

Here are some more deals to get your teeth into, sourced from the various companies across the range:

For Women

For Men

For Kids

If you’re interested, have a good browse through the sale sections on the various sites. There’s a lot to choose from with quite good sizing availability too. As it’s free to sign up to the Shoe Lovers Rewards, you might as well take advantage of the free shipping while you can!

Town Shoes Canada: BOBS By Skechers Now $30 (Save $25)

Posted by on October 29, 2014 at 2:00 PM

Town Shoes Canada: BOBS By Skechers Now $30 (Save $25)

Purchase a pair of Bobs Heart Espadrilles or Bobs Heart Tag Alongs by Skechers for just $29.99, originally $55 at Town Shoes Canada.

I honestly have no idea how Sketchers ever got away with this line of shoes. They use the classic espadrille style for which Toms is famous. The name BOBS is a similar three letter simple masculine name followed by a ‘s’ to mimic Toms. In addition, for every pair of shoes that is sold, “Skechers will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need.” Seriously? While I am all for charity, this is such a blatant fan-boy attempt on Sketcher’s part to mimic Toms. WOW.

Putting that aside, this is a good price for a pair of shoe. You are saving $25 and almost all sizes are still in stock. Bobs features a good size range: women’s size five and up to size 11 including most half sizes. Bobs are not all mimicry either: the Heart Tag A Long features elastics near the back and front of the foot for a better fit and more flexibility. This is not a feature you will see in a pair of Toms shoes.

I have tried Toms shoes and they failed me miserably. The top of the espadrille cut in to the top of my foot so badly that after 15 minutes of wearing them the mark they left would take over an hour to disappear. They were painful and unpleasant. I have worn Sketchers before and found the stretch Skechers puts into their shoes a pleasant reprieve for my feet. I would be willing to try espadrille style shoes again, from Skechers, as they are a different company, thus the fit would be different.

Both shoes have canvas uppers and rubber soles for comfort. They feature a woven natural fiber mid-sole trim for that carefree summer look.

Town Shoes offers free shipping on orders of $70 or more. For orders under this minimum, shipping is just $8. You can also receive free shipping to your local store. There are also two other shipping offers. Shoe Lovers Reward Members receive free shipping on $35. If you are a Shoe Lovers Rewards VIP member, you will receive free shipping on any order with no minimum. You can learn about the programs here.

Town Shoes: Hush Puppies Strappy Wedges $39.99 (Was $100)

Posted by on September 28, 2014 at 9:30 PM

Town Shoes: Hush Puppies Strappy Wedges $39.99 (Was $100)

Town Shoes Canada has a couple pairs of the Strappy T Wedge by Hush Puppies on sale for only $39.99. That is 60% off the original price of $99.95.

I know you are not shopping for summer sandals at this moment but right now is the best time to buy summer footwear. It is end of season as we just hit fall a few days ago. This is the best time to buy sandals, flats, wedges, and bright coloured heels.

The shoe comes in two colours. The multi-coloured pair features a black/white speckled heel strap and lavender, white, and beige straps across the foot and ankle. The black pair is pretty much a plain black upper with a more colourful wedge.

Hush Puppies are known for their comfortable shoes, and I am sure these are no exception. The multi-coloured pair features a nubuck upper, 4″ cork wedge heel, and a rubber outsole for durability. That outsole is pretty thick too, which acts as a shock absorber when your foot lands on pavement.  The adjustable ankle straps provide a tailored fit to your foot. The black pair is different. They feature a leather upper with what looks like a thatched wedge heel.

Sizing in these wedges is just amazing. If you are a woman and have feet, you can pretty much buy a pair. Both colours are in stock in all their sizes. The size range starts at size 5 and goes up to size 11. Half sizes are included for most the sizes excluding 10 and 11.

Honestly, Town Shoes was sort of a neglected web store for a few years on Bargainmoose. I do not know if we just forgot about them or if they did not have that great of sales until recently. However, since I rediscovered them a few days ago in my wanderings, I found out they have some pretty awesome sales going on and should definitely be on your radar.

Town Shoes: Original Tall Two Tone Hunter Boots $98.98 (Was $165) – HOT-

Posted by on September 26, 2014 at 2:30 PM

Town Shoes: Original Tall Two Tone Hunter Boots $98.98 (Was $165) HOT

I found another stellar deal on Hunter boots I just have to share with you. Instead of a deal on the short wellies, I found these beautiful Original Tall Two Tone Hunter Boots. At Town Shoes Canada, the boots are on sale from $165 down to $98.98.

Limited quantities are available and I expect these to sell out quickly. As an added bonus, all orders of $70 or more receive free shipping from Town Shoes, so your Hunter rain boots will ship free as well.

These boots are a matte black on the bottom portion and a stunning golden orange on the top. They are very much a fall boot and the orange reminds me of the leaves of a maple tree when it turns colour in the autumn. Town Shoes tells us exactly how many pairs of these boots are still available online – per size – so I can tell you this deal will not last long. Here is the rundown:

  • Size 7: 3 in stock
  • Size 8: 5 in stock
  • Size 9: 4 in stock
  • Size 10: 8 in stock

I wear a size 7 in Hunter Wellies, as they are wide enough to accommodate my wider foot. I can still fit the fleece sock in my wellies as well – they are such a good fit. If only I could fit my calf in these taller boots, I would have bought them the second I saw this deal. I love the colour combination and this price is AWESOME!

One always needs to price compare when buying anything.  However, none of the other Canadian retailers that carry Hunter boots are selling the two-toned versions. The closest I can come for a comparison is to compare other tall boots.

The cheapest Tall Hunter boots at The Hudson’s Bay are $123.75 for a pair of blue gloss on clearance. Little Burgundy’s cheapest pair is $160 for the Hunter matte black. Softmoc Canada has a few pairs of the tall glosses on sale for $119.99. Either way, Town Shoes beats all three of these retailers by a good $20 (and free shipping) with a better-looking boot.

Hunter boots will last you your entire life if you take good care of them. That is a $100 investment for 20+ years of wear. You will probably get bored of them before they ever have a problem. Seriously, pick up a pair because this is an amazing deal.

Town Shoes Coupon: Free Barbie Keychain On $50 Spend

Town Shoes Coupon: Free Barbie Keychain On $50 Spend

I’ll add this little Town Shoes coupon to the blog. It’s for a free Barbie keychain if you are spending $50 or more in-store.

Obviously, it’s not worth going out of your way to spend $50 just to get this keychain.

But if you were going to buy some new shoes there anyway, then you might as well bring the coupon with you to claim your little freebie.

I’m not quite sure what makes it a Barbie keychain though – maybe it’s branded on the back with Barbie?

Expires 15th October 2009.

Town Shoes Canada: Free Shoe aholic Tape Dispenser!!

Awww isn’t this really cute!? If you try on any shoes in-store @ Town Shoes Canada, make sure you bring this coupon with you. If you do, they will reward you with a free shoe-aholic tape dispenser. Isn’t that a really cute freebie?

The coupon is valid until the 30th of April 2009. I’m not going to take advantage of this one, because I know if I set foot in that store, I’ll walk out with at least 1 pair of shoes, and a lighter wallet. The curse of shoe stores!

P.S. Thanks to frugal-freebies.
