Shoppers Drug Mart: $10 Tim Card With $50 Spend (15-16 Oct)

Posted by Jodie on October 15, 2011 at 12:00 PM

Shoppers Drug Mart: $10 Tim Card With $50 Spend (15 16 Oct)

Today and tomorrow spend $50 or more at Shoppers Drug Mart and get a $10 Tim’s Quick Pay Card.

    The usual restrictions apply:

Excludes prescriptions, products that contain codeine, tobacco products (where applicable), stamps, passport photos, lottery tickets, event tickets, transit tickets and passes, electronic gift cards, Life Experiences® packages and pre paid phone cards.

Your Tim’s Card can be used on your next purchase at Tim Hortons. What I like about these Tim’s cards is they don’t expire so you can use them up right away, save them for a rainy day or even give away for Christmas.

There is a limit of one Tim Card per transaction. However, at times when I have spent $100 in one transaction as opposed to 2 separate $50 transactions, I’ve asked for two gift cards and have been given them without a problem.

    Expiry: 16th, October 2011

Tim Hortons Smile Cookies: Support Your Local Charities This Week

Smile cookies are back this week at Tim Hortons. Grab a cookie or two and help support your local charities. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the Smile Cookies will go to help your community!

A little more about the Smile Cookies:

Enjoy a Tim Hortons Smile Cookie and help make a difference in your community.  From September 19th to 25th, 2011, the entire proceeds from the sale of our Smile Cookies will be donated to local charities, hospitals and community programs from coast to coast.  What began as a way to help raise funds for the Hamilton Children’s Hospital in Ontario way back in 1996, has grown into a major fundraising event across North America.  So why not indulge your sweet tooth for a good cause? After all, Smile Cookies are only available for one week, but the difference they make will last forever.

We’ll be there a few times this week I’m sure! Tim’s has yummy cookies and of course the kids think it’s pretty cool with some added icing!

Get your cookies until 11:30 am on 25th September, 2011.

Get a free $10 Tim Horton’s Quick Pay Card with a $50 purchase from Shoppers Drug Mart on 6th August, 2011.

This is my favorite promotion from Shoppers! I’ll pick up some groceries at Shoppers and get free coffee from Tim’s all week. Usually there is no expiry on the Tim’s card either, which is a real bonus since you can use it or save it. Sometimes I do like to save these cards and slip them in with teacher’s gifts.

Shoppers $50 Spend, Free $10 Timmies Cards

Posted by Anna on June 12, 2011 at 2:00 PM

Shoppers $50 Spend, Free $10 Timmies Cards

Here’s one for fans of both Shoppers and Timmies. This week, if you spend more than $50 in-store at Shoppers Drug Mart Canada, they will reward you with a free $10 gift card for Tim Hortons.

There are the usual exclusions on Shoppers behalf, such as prescriptions, tobacco, etc. You can see the full details at the above link.

It’s easy to spend $50 at Shoppers. I just buy a couple bottles of my fave shampoos, shaving gel for my other half, maybe a little make-up treat for me. My total is over $50 before I know it. Even if you don’t usually spend that much at Shoppers, consider buying and stock-piling a few of those extra items, and put them away until you need them.

Sadly, it says that this offer is not available to those Moosers in BC – I have no idea why!

    Tim Hortons: Camp Day

Posted by Avigayil on May 31, 2011 at 10:00 AM

    Tim Hortons: Camp Day

Once in a while I do a post that has nothing to do with a ‘deal’ per-say: so feel free to ignore or glaze over this post as you see fit. Tomorrow, June 1st, is Camp Day. Camp Day is the 1 day a year when us Canadians buy a Tim Horton’s coffee, and all the proceeds go to charity: the charity of sending kids who couldn’t otherwise afford it… to camp.

I like charity, and I like big companies that do decent stuff like this. I don’t consider it buying a coffee: more making a donation and getting a coffee in return. In that way, it is a deal to me… and then I will give the coffee to someone who drinks that stuff Tim Hortons: Camp Day

So I am hoping our Moosers remember Camp Day tomorrow, Wednesday, and buy coffee! Lets send kids to camp!

Tim Hortons Canada: $0.69 Bagel Deal Tim Hortons Canada: $0.69 Bagel Deal Tim Hortons Canada: $0.69 Bagel Deal

From 25 April to 8 May 2011,  buy any beverage at Tim Horton’s and get a toasted and buttered bagel for $0.69 ($0.79 in Canmore and $0.89 in Fort McMurray, NWT and Yukon).

    The fine print:

At participating restaurants in Canada for a limited time. One bagel per beverage purchased. Not valid with any other offer or on bulk beverage purchases. Promotion not applicable to combos.

Tim Hortons Free Holiday Ice Skating! (BC, AB, NB, NF, NS, ON, PEI)

Posted by Avigayil on December 7, 2010 at 4:00 PM

Tim Hortons Free Holiday Ice Skating! (BC, AB, NB, NF, NS, ON, PEI)

It’s that time again! Grab your skates and check out Tim Horton’s free skating schedule to find your way onto some sweet ice! This is happening in the provinces of: British Columbia, Alberta, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario and PEI. Which if memory serves is much more than last year!

It is cool how Tim Hortons is active in the community and tries to do things like this for the kids and their families. I’m not sure where you would rent skates if you don’t have any, you might want to check with your local community halls, or check with a local rink.

Tim Hortons: 99 Cent Small Iced Coffees All Summer Long!

Posted by Avigayil on June 9, 2010 at 3:00 PM

Tim Hortons: 99 Cent Small Iced Coffees All Summer Long!I’m not a fan of coffee. I’m really not. So it never was one of the factors that could explain how I ended up stuck at 5’3. However, a couple years ago I discovered the glory of Tim Hortons’ Ice Caps. But by then I had no hope of growing even a millimetre taller, so why not coffee up?

For those of you not fond of the adverse effects of the Ice Caps… say the major sugar high, and large amout of calories packed into one little unassuming drink, Tim Hortons offers an Iced Coffee… which is ice, and coffee, and some amount of sweetness (or is that a rumour?) According to Tim Hortons:

“It’s our premium blend coffee poured over ice, served sweet and creamy. It’s a refreshing way to enjoy your Tim Hortons coffee. Try a small for just $.99 cents this summer. * At participating stores. Prices may vary by region.”

I think the average price of a small Iced Coffee (correct me if I’m wrong) is around $1.29 so if this is your daily fix, hey, it just became a bit cheaper! If not, maybe give it a try this summer as a cooler way to get your caffeine.
