The Source Canada: Canon Vixia HF R400 Camcorder Bundle | Was $330 Now $200

The Source Canada: Canon Vixia HF R400 Camcorder Bundle | Was $330 Now $200

There are many occasions during your life where you’ll want to use a video camera. Sure, you can use your smartphone’s video camera, but chances are that the video and audio quality just wouldn’t be good enough for certain events, such as weddings, celebrations, and other significant moments that you want to capture on video. Thankfully, The Source has a great deal on the Canon Vixia HF R400 – an HD video camera that’s high in quality and low in cost! For a limited time, you can get this high definition video camera for just $199.96 – the regular price for this bundle is $329.99! Plus, this item also qualifies for free shipping – whoohoo!

The Canon Vixia HF R400 camcorder bundle comes with a 4GB SD card, an HDMI cable, and a Canon camera bag. This high definition video camera has a 32x optical zoom, 1060x digital zoom, and a 53x advanced zoom.

I still have an older Canon camcorder that I purchased 7 years ago, and it still works great! However, unlike the Canon Vixia HF R400, my older camcorder uses MiniDV tapes, which makes the transfer of videos to my computer an exceptionally lengthy process.

The Canon Vixia HF R400 makes it easier to transfer your videos to your computer, since the videos are stored on an SD card instead of a MiniDV tape (like older camcorders). I would have loved to use a digital camcorder like this when I used to make movies with my friends, since it would have made the process so much easier for me (especially when I had to edit the videos on my computer).

The Canon Vixia HF R400 retails for $288 at WalMart, and it’s $379.99 on Amazon. I’ve included a snippet of a review of this camcorder from a satisfied Amazon customer below:

The video quality on this model is excellent. The performance in low light is slightly grainy but very good and better than usual for a camera in this price range with a small sensor, and as good as some far more expensive ones I’ve used. The audio quality from the built in mic is very good.

If you need an affordable camcorder, you can’t go wrong with this Canon Vixia HF R400 bundle. Get it while it’s still available, Bargainmoosers! I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend!

The Source: Canon Powershot D20 Waterproof Digital Camera | Was $380 Now $200

Posted by on September 12, 2014 at 10:00 AM

The Source: Canon Powershot D20 Waterproof Digital Camera | Was $380 Now $200

If you’re seeking an affordable waterproof digital camera that’s been manufactured by a trusted and respected brand, this is it. For a limited time, you can save big by getting a Canon Powershot D20 12.1 MP waterproof digital camera for $199.96 at The Source – the regular price for this particular model was $379.99, so that’s $180.03 that you’ll save! This also qualifies for free shipping, so that’s not too shabby!

This camera has it all – it has a GPS tracker built in to it, is temperature resistant (from 14°F to 104°F), shockproof (up to 5 feet), and waterproof (up to 33 feet). You can also record HD 1080p videos with this Canon Powershot D20 waterproof digital camera, making it a very versatile device.

Speaking from personal experience, if you plan to visit a location that’s hot, I’d recommend bringing a waterproof digital camera. Even if you plan to be extra careful with your camera while you’re lounging at a beach, you never know what could happen. A friend of mine brought their camera near the water to take a picture of my friends and I, when she accidentally fumbled the device and it landed in some water. Even though it just touched a bit of water, the camera would no longer turn on. There were no more pictures taken during that trip!

This camera can withstand up to 33 feet of water – that’s a nominal amount of water! Plus, the reputable Canon name has been associated with cameras for decades, so it’s not like this is some no name digital camera that you can get for a cheap price on eBay.

Currently, the Canon Powershot D20 costs $318 at WalMart, and $279.99 on Amazon. I’ve included a brief review of this waterproof digital camera from a satisfied WalMart customer below:

This camera has done great. We have used it 20 + times under water fresh and salt water and even more than that on land. The pictures are remarkably clear. We loved having this with us while gone to Panama on our family trip.

Take advantage of this deal while these cameras are still in stock! Happy Friday, Bargainmoosers!

The Source Canada: Parrot Zik Wireless Headphones (refurb.) $240

Posted by on September 11, 2014 at 11:30 AM

The Source Canada: Parrot Zik Wireless Headphones (refurb.) $240

I am currently having a heart attack over this deal. The Source is having a refurbished sale with my dream headset in it. Pick up the Parrot Zik by Starck Stark Wireless Headphones – refurbished – for just $239.98 with free shipping. These headphones usually retail for $429.99.

Massive fan girl moments occurring right now. If there was one headset in the world I could get my hands on, it would be the Parrot Zik by Starck (if the Sennheiser HD800s were not available). First and foremost: this is a wireless headset that connects to your phone via Bluetooth. The cups are touch sensitive and respond, much like a tablet screen, to swipe motions you make with your fingers. Swipe forward to play jump forward a track. Swipe up to increase the volume and swipe downwards to decrease the volume. When you remove the headset from your ears, it will pause automatically.

The Parrot Zik has a run time of approximately eight hours. Unlike many other headsets, it can still be used once the battery has run out. Just plug in the 3.5mm jack and you are good to listen to your tunes for countless more hours. You must know about so many other features! Like pairing: pairing your Parrot Zik with your simple when you just touch your phone to your left ear cup (for NFC devices). The headset also has active noise cancellation as well as four microphones and a jawbone sensor for call clarity. The Parrot App will allow you to adjust the acoustics and sound-space right from your phone.

Here is what a reviewer at The Source had to say:

I got a refurbished set of Parrot Zik headphones so I can only speak about the gently used pair I got and I have to say, they are awesome! The sound quality is good, the frequent firmware / software updates are apreciated and the touch controls work great. I’m also really impressed by the active noice cancellation. The battery is also giving me 8 hours of playback with the features like noice cancellation and I would recommend this product to anyone looking for bluetooh headphones with noise cancellation.

This headset is currently $399.99 at Future Shop and $429.99 at Best Buy Canada.

This set of headphones includes a USB charging cable and a case.

The Source: iPod Touch 5th Generation 16 GB (Damaged Box) Was $230 Now $160 (Expired)

Posted by on September 9, 2014 at 9:30 AM

The Source: iPod Touch 5th Generation 16 GB (Damaged Box) Was $230 Now $160 (Expired)

In today’s Apple – centric society, many people desire iPhones and iPods. Even I’ll admit that I was late to join the bandwagon, but once I finally purchased an iPod Touch several years ago, I realized just how useful these mobile devices are. Getting a decent deal on Apple products can be a rarity due to their massive popularity, but this particular deal at The Source is really hot, so take advantage of this while you can! At The Source, you can order a 5th Generation iPod Touch with 16 GB of storage space (listed as a display model, and it has a damaged box) for just $159.97! It normally retails for $229.99, so you’re saving $70.02 in total! It also qualifies for free shipping – whoo!

There are many apps that you’d find useful on an iPod Touch. Whether you’re looking for word applications, video players, recipe e-books, or games, the iPod Touch will consistently keep you entertained. Its bright retina display and Facetime capabilities are also very cool!

I found that the iPod Touch helped me improve my productivity. When I first got one of these devices, it allowed me to check my work related emails (I was strictly freelancing at the time) when I was away from my home office, or when I was visiting friends. This was when mobile internet plans were less affordable than they are currently, so I found the iPod Touch incredibly useful (obviously, if I was on the road or at a store, I couldn’t check my emails with the iPod Touch, since a wireless internet connection is required).

This is the latest edition of the iPod Touch (5th generation), and 16 GB of room for your songs and apps should be just enough space for most casual users. It’s currently selling for $219.99 at Future Shop, but they’re all out of stock at this time. Surprisingly, Best Buy is actually having a sale on these at the moment for $179.99, but they’re all sold out according to their website.

Here’s a snippet of a review for the 5th gen iPod Touch from a satisfied Best Buy customer:

Simply said, Apple has always done an amazing job on their flagship iPod device, the iPod Touch. With a stunning retina display, it makes even watching movies worth it (which normally wouldn’t be on a small screen). With the processing power they fill it with, I can play games on it that not even my cell phone can play properly!!

This deal won’t last long, so get this while they’re still in stock at The Source! Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

The Source: Etron Soulra Solar Powered iPhone iPod Speaker Dock (Refurbished) Was $250 Now $63

The Source: Etron Soulra Solar Powered iPhone iPod Speaker Dock (Refurbished) Was $250 Now $63

I love the smell of new deals on Monday mornings! In this case, The Source is offering online bargain hunters the opportunity to save big on a solar powered speaker dock! For a limited time, you can pick up a refurbished Etron Soulra Solar Powered iPhone / iPod Speaker Dock for just $62.97 - it normally retails for $249.99 brand new! By purchasing this unique speaker dock, you’re also eligible for free standard shipping, which is always a nice bonus.

Splash proof and solar powered, the Etron Soulra Speaker Dock is something that can really come in handy when you’re going to a beach, or are going on a camping adventure. Hey, it can even be useful during a lazy day in your backyard! However, for days that aren’t too sunny, there’s no need to fret – this solar powered speaker dock also comes with an AC adapter that you can plug into the wall.

Whether you plan to use this dock strictly indoors or outdoors, it really is an interesting unit. Even if you don’t have an iPhone or an iPod, you shouldn’t have any problems playing music from your smart phone or portable audio device on this speaker dock, since it has a built in audio line input.

At this time, there are many speaker docks flooding the market, so it can be tough to stand out from the rest – especially when there are so many familiar brand names available. On the other hand, this speaker dock’s solar capabilities really make it intriguing to me.

On Amazon, the Etron Soulra Solar Powered Speaker Dock sells for $141.62, and it retails for $199.95 at Best Buy. I’ve included a brief review from a satisfied Amazon customer below.

We took the Soulra to the beach and I loved the idea of not worrying about battery life! It’s so nice to finally see an ipod player out on the market that is solar powered. As a mother on the go, having a place to charge my ipod and play it makes my life so much easier!

There tends to be limited quantities in stock for refurbished items that are available at The Source, so if you’re looking for a new speaker dock, act quickly and order this while it’s still available. Here’s to hoping that you all have a great, productive Monday!

The Source Canada: Aviator Turntable Wooden Music Centre (Refurbished) Was $137 Now $40 (Expired)

We all know how refurbished and clearance items at The Source don’t last for very long. After all, making an informed decision as fast as you can is key to scoring a great deal – especially if it’s online. If you act quickly, you can nab this refurbished Innovative Technology Aviator Turntable Wooden Music Centre for just $39.98 – the regular refurbished price is $137, and it’s normally $250 brand new! You’ll also be able to get free standard shipping with your order. This isn’t your average music centre – read below to learn more about this fantastic device!

Not only is this device visually pleasing and a great throwback to simpler times – it also has some exceptionally useful features. This product from Innovative Technology has a 3 speed turntable, cassette tape deck, AM/FM radio, and even a recordable CD player. It would be a great gift for anyone that still rocks a vinyl collection.

However, I didn’t even mention the best feature yet – I just think that it’s so cool! With the Aviator Turntable Wooden Music Centre, you can also record your vinyl and cassette tapes directly to a CD! No computer is required, you just simply do it all on this device! This is a really useful feature for those that treasure their record collection, yet want to listen to some of them while they’re driving their vehicle without buying the CD. You can also plug in your iPod or music player to this device if you want to listen to it through its built – in speakers.

When looking for this product online, you can find brand new ones on Amazon that range between $259 to $404. It’s also on sale at Kohl’s for $175. Listed below is a review from a satisfied Amazon customer:

Excellent stability! Excellent sound fidelity! Simple to operate. Make CD’s from your old vinyl recordings and from your cassettes, then use your computer to rip the CD’s into formats for your iPod. The Aviator is a must have if you need to convert a special collection of music that you cannot download. Naturally, digitized downloads are superior, but this machine is for you if you don’t mind an occasional snap, crackle and pop in your copy.

These deals don’t stay in stock very long at The Source, so get one while it’s still available! Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

The Source Canada: Silverlit Sky Eagle R/C Helicopter (Refurbished) Was $100 Now $14 (Expired)

The Source Canada: Silverlit Sky Eagle R/C Helicopter (Refurbished) Was $100 Now $14 (Expired)

Now this deal is smoking hot! Whether you’re an R/C helicopter fan or someone who just loves interesting gadgets, this deal from The Source should pique your interest. Normally priced at $100, you can order a refurbished Silverlit Sky Eagle R/C Helicopter for only $14! You read that right – that’s 86% off of the regular price! You’ll also have to pay an extra $4.99 for standard shipping.

With a span of 33 cm, this Sky Eagle R/C Helicopter can steadily ascend thanks to its unique roto blade system. It even comes with a 27 mHZ wireless remote control, so you can enjoy piloting this R/C helicopter from a distance.

I think that R/C helicopters are pretty cool. You can surprise unsuspecting friends out of nowhere, and in this case, it’s very affordable! I never had one of these when I was younger, since they were just too expensive at the time (and many of them were wired, so you didn’t have the freedom with them that you do nowadays). At $14, you really can’t go wrong with this purchase.

When it comes to deals, The Source can really be hit or miss. Though it can be challenging at times to find an especially thrifty deal from them, this Silverlit Sky Eagle R/C Helicopter is certainly a hit! It’s tough to find this particular R/C helicopter in Canada anywhere besides The Source, but I did find an Ebay listing where it’s listed for the outrageous price of $193, and it’s listed on the UK version of Amazon for the equivalent of $125 Canadian dollars.

Here is a brief review from a satisfied customer that purchased this Silverlit Sky Eagle R/C Helicopter from The Source:

Easy to use. This is my first R/C Helicopter. It was a very good deal. Instructions are easy to follow and it’s quite easy to fly. Nice to have a few extra parts. The Helicopter doesn’t feel cheap. Very well made.

I hope this deal perked up your Thursday morning! Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

The Source Canada: Free Printer With Laptop Purchase ($80 Value)

The Source Canada: Free Printer With Laptop Purchase ($80 Value)

Receive a free HP Deskjet 2542 all-in-one printer worth $79.99 when you purchase any laptop at The Source Canada for four days only.

This older model printer is no longer available at the majority of the stores I looked at when I was attempting to price compare. However, companies bring out new printer models several times a year so it does not surprise me that a perfectly good printer is no longer on vogue. My nearly four-year-old HP Touchsmart printer was no longer sold mere months after I bought it, and yet it still functions perfectly well (except for the odd digested paper).

You do not need to add the printer to your cart; rather it will be automatically added for you with a qualifying laptop and then discounted to $0.

The Source Canada: Free Printer With Laptop Purchase ($80 Value)

Let us talk about inexpensive computers. Face it, not everyone has the money to go out put down half a month’s income on a new connection to the mythical land of Facebook and  planet Twitter. In addition, as most honest computer technicians worth their salt will tell you, the computers that people own far exceed their requirements. It is like getting a Lamborghini to go grocery shopping: overkill. Thankfully, The Source has several base models that will cost you under $250 and take care of your basic needs.

Acer Aspire AOD270-1892 10.1″ Netbook – Was $349.98 | Now $199.96

This netbook is the ultimate laptop for portability. The 10.1″ screen is still big enough to function for decent word processing, and the attached keyboard and following stats make it far better than a tablet that costs tons more. The stats are:

  • Intel Atom N2600 Dual-Core Processor
  • 1GB DDR3 SDRAM Memory
  • 320GB 5400RMP SATA hard drive

Acer Aspire One AO725-0691 11.6″ Netbook – Was $399.95 | Now $219.96

Get a slightly bigger screen, faster processor, and a bigger chunk of memory with this Netbook for only $20 more. Your screen also upgrades to LCD for superior viewing of HD films. The features are:

  • AMD C-60 Processor
  • 2GB RAM
  • 320GB Hard drive
  • Microsoft Office software

Both are open box models with full manufacturer’s warranty. The free printer offer can also stack, so if you buy two laptops you will receive two free printers. I do not think anyone needs two printers, but you might be able to sell the second one to cut down your overall costs.

Receive free shipping on orders of $30 or more.

The Source Canada: Acer Iconia 32GB Tablet Only $150

Posted by on August 21, 2014 at 1:00 PM

The Source Canada: Acer Iconia 32GB Tablet Only $150

With back-to-school sales in full swing, it’s that special time of year where education is paramount, and some parents are eagerly anticipating the start of the school year for their kids, whether they’re in elementary school, high school, college, or university. One way that they can make this transition easier for their summer-loving kids is with a massively discounted Acer Iconia tablet that’s being offered by The Source. For only $149.96, you can enjoy the benefits of a tablet for a fraction of the normal cost (a savings of 58% off of the regular price). According to The Source, it’s a display model of the tablet, that’s in mint condition and comes with a full manufacturer’s warranty. It also comes with free shipping to your door, or even a 3-5 day store pickup option- whatever accommodates your needs the most.

Normally retailing at $359.96, the  Acer Iconia 32GB 8.1″ tablet comes with Microsoft Office Home & Student. Since it comes with a full manufacturer’s warranty, I think it’s a great deal that you shouldn’t miss out on- especially when you see what it retails for at other locations. At, you can find it brand new for $388.04 and refurbished for $249.99, while at, they have one with an open box for $314.25.

At first, I considered a tablet to just be a gimmicky device that I didn’t need- after all, I already have a laptop, and my smart phone can also use a wide variety of apps. However, once I was lucky enough to receive a tablet as a gift, I haven’t been able to spend a day without using one (unless, of course, I’m out of town for the weekend). They’re very efficient- you’ll likely find yourself using it to check your emails, browse websites, check out TV shows and movies on Netflix or Youtube, or even write ideas or work on projects (especially handy on this device, since it comes with Microsoft Office Home & Student).

Laptopmag has a great review online about this tablet and there is a great review on Walmart’s site:

I own a W3 for two weeks now and I am very happy with it. This is real, fully functional Windows computer in your pocket. It runs real Windows 8 (not RT) and it has full MS Office already installed, you just have to activate it. Amazing for this price! Interface is very smooth, no lags and glitches. Very convenient tools for meetings, can be connected to projector, recognizes hand writing etc. The screen is not bad, but can be better. Also it lacks some features like compass and GPS, but those is not very essential.

The Source also has several other tablets on sale, including the ACER Iconia Android Tablet – 8GB for $169.96, ACER Iconia Android tablet – 16GB for $129.96, and several other tablets that are all massively discounted due to them being display models.

The Source Canada: Kindle Fire 7″ HD Tablet 16GB Only $129.99

Posted by on August 15, 2014 at 3:30 PM

The Source Canada: Kindle Fire 7 HD Tablet 16GB Only $129.99

The Source Canada has a sweet deal on a 7″ HD Kindle Fire Tablet of the 16GB size. This open box tablet is on sale for $129.99, originally $214.99.

I price compared with They no longer have the 16GB 7″ HD Fire, but the 8GB tablet costs $149. I checked it out on and despite the confusion over with special offers and without special offers, this tablet retails for $184 USD = $200 CAN before shipping/duty. This means that The Source Canada is offering a fantastic deal on the Fire tablet.

This tablet is open box. That means it is a display model that comes with a full manufacturer’s warranty because they guarantee the quality of display models the same as closed box models. If anything should go wrong, then you can invoke the warranty just like you would with a brand new, never been used model.

The Fire tablet comes with 16GB built in memory, a 1280×800 HD display, dual-band dual-antenna Wi-Fi, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and a Micro HDMI port to hook your tablet up to a larger display.

You will receive approximately ten hours of life on a single battery charge with mixed use. If you are watching solid HD videos, then expect the battery life to be much lower. The device weighs in at 345 grams.

I have been reading many reviews of this tablet. Many people in Canada are disappointed because there is no way to integrate Kindle books or Audible (both Amazon apps) onto the Canadian Amazon Fire Tablet. Trust me; there is a lot of ranting about this. For those who bought this tablet specifically for the pleasure of those two apps, they are sorely disappointed. Otherwise, people have said that this tablet is quite good and a very good buy for the price. This commenter on Amazon is a perfect example:

I would have given 5 stars for price and quality from that short experience with it but after much frustration discovered that I can not have all the benefits promised when you purchase audio books from Audible and Kindle books.

For those whose do not care about those two apps, they generally have good things to say about the tablet:

User friendly! Great bang for your buck entry level tablet. Reading is slick, Facebook and games work great.

Overall, I think this is a great buy at this price. The Source offers free shipping on orders of $30 or more.

The Source Canada: Ti-83 Plus Graphing Calculator $99.99

Posted by on August 10, 2014 at 10:00 AM

The Source Canada: Ti 83 Plus Graphing Calculator $99.99

Just in time for back to school shopping, The Source Canada has discounted the Ti-83 Plus Graphic Scientific Calculator from $149.99 to only $99.99. As the calculator costs over $30, which is The Source’s threshold for free shipping, the calculator will ship free of charge.

I never take a deal at face value (well, rarely), thus I conducted a few price comparisons to make sure this was the best deal. is selling the Ti-83 Plus for $108.99, Staples Canada is selling the Ti-83 Plus for $124.96, and BestBuy is selling the Ti-83 Plus for $129.99. Therefore, The Source Canada currently has the best deal on this calculator.

It is a funny thing that high schools and universities are still using this calculator, because this is the same calculator I used in high school. Seriously! Now you might be totally thinking ‘old school’ but it also goes to show what a beast this calculator really is. Trust me, you would much rather input your X and your Y coordinates, and all the various other info you have and let this calculator graph it out for you than do it by hand. In geometry and algebra, this calculator was an absolute lifesaver! This graphing calculator:

…handles calculus, engineering, trigonometric, and financial functions and can display graphs and tables on split screen to trace graph while scrolling through table values.

I still own my Ti-83 Plus. It is sitting on the table right now as I finally had to strip out the old batteries (so dead), and am charging up some spare triple AAAs I had lying around. The calculator takes four AAA batteries and they last for many years. It also has a flat battery that resembles a quarter hidden inside the back. This is your backup memory battery, which I have only had to replace once in 12 years (estimating here). This calculator is also super durable with the slipcase. I have no idea how many times I have dropped, sat on, lost, or bashed mine.

My absolute favourite feature of this calculator is the eight line by 16 character display. You can put in an entire equation and see it all on the screen. Thus, if you made a mistake in one input you can find where you went wrong instead of sitting there puzzled or wondering if it is right. I loved this calculator for double-checking my equations.

The Source Canada: $120 Off Samsung Galaxy Gear Fit Smartwatch – Now $100

Posted by on August 2, 2014 at 11:00 PM

The Source Canada: $120 Off Samsung Galaxy Gear Fit Smartwatch Now $100

Get with the times and get the Samsung Galaxy Gear Fit smartwatch for a $120 discount at The Source. Instead of its regular price of $219.99, it can be yours for just $99.99!

  • 1.63″ super AMOLED screen
  • Dust & weather resistant
  • Alarm notifications for messages, e-mails, phone calls etc.

It also comes with the required lithium ion battery, which is then rechargeable with the Samsung charger that is included. The watch also comes with a charging cradle, which should be perfect for placing on the night stand or anywhere else in the house.

Even cooler is that you can actually also place and accept calls with the watch. Although my initial reaction was to think that this would be useful for individuals in a work setting, I actually do think it could also be useful for just about anyone, but especially moms and dads who are constantly on the go. There is nothing more challenging than trying to located your phone amongst a pile of dirty laundry or with hands full of groceries.

Gear Fit only alerts you to calls. You must take the call on the phone. Can also reject calls from the Gear Fit. Pretty much just alerts or notifies you, so you don’t need to dig for your phone everytime.

I constantly misplace my phone, so the fact that this watch could alert me when I’m out of range of it is definitely a nice feature to have.

Price Comparison

The only other place I found this watch is at B&H Photo Video for $149.95 along with duties and customs as it would ship from the US.

As for the Samsung Gear 2 smart watch, the next model in the series, the cheapest I have found it anywhere else is at Amazon, where it’s on sale for $164.99 from a regular retail price of $249.99. Both Best Buy and Future Shop also have this smartwatch for $199.95. If you’re wondering which watch to get, then Mike Plant’s “Gear 2 versus Gear Fit – which is the top gear?” should be helpful. Essentially, it really comes down to what you’re looking for. While both watches can be used for fitness, the Gear 2 has additional features like a camera and voice recognition, though personally, I would never see myself using the former as I prefer to use my iPhone’s better camera.

Shipping is at a flat rate o $4.99 per order but to avoid this charge, you can have your order shipped to your local The Source store for free instead.

The Source Canada: $25 Savings Card With Purchase

The Source Canada: $25 Savings Card With Purchase

The Source Canada is giving out $25 savings cards with any purchase online or in store this week. It says savings cards are limited, so make sure you see it in your cart before checking out.

The $25 savings card can be redeemed on orders of $100 or more between August 14th through 27th. As this is a busy back to school time, they expect it will be easy for customers to spend that minimum and thus save an extra $25 off their order.

You can get this $25 savings card with any order. I was looked at the Xtreme Xfit Bluetooth Fitness Band that is currently priced at $49.99. This is a special promotional price, and after the 13th of August it will go up to $89.99. The Xfit comes with a bonus fitness band. This device tracks your total amount of calories burned in 24 hours, steps taken, distance traveled, and quality of sleep. My quality of sleep is non-existent, or maybe into the negatives if I think of it on a scale of one to ten. I would like a device to track how I actually sleep and then I could show my doctor the proof that my sleep cycle doesn’t exactly cycle, it more hobbles around.

If you need a new printer, then toddle over to The Source Canada to view the Canon PIXMA MX512 Wireless Color Photo Printer with scanner, copier, and fax machine. Do people still use fax machines these days? Either way, this stellar all-in-one printer is on sale from $129.99 to $69.96.  Printers usually come with two ink cartridges (one colour, and one black), which are worth about half the cost of the printer itself. The wireless feature allows you to print from any tablet or phone at the click of a button.

The HP Officejet 6600 e-All-in-One Wireless Color Photo Printer is also a great deal. Originally $149.99, The Source has it on sale for $69.99. I price compared this unit with and they have it listed at $74.98. Out of nine reviews on The Source’s website, it ranks a 4.7/5. As one reviewer says:

This printer is great for a home office! Very easy to set up the wireless feature and also easy to use. The printing, scanning, faxing and copying features so far all work well and I think this is a great value for the dollar, especially if you get it on sale but even at regular price. Great job HP!

The Source Canada offers free shipping on orders of $30 or more.
