The Source: Fujifilm JX660 Camera Only $65 & Free Shipping

The Source: Fujifilm JX660 Camera Only $65 & Free Shipping

The Source Canada is offering the basic Fujifilm JX660 16 MP Digital Camera for only $64.99 with free shipping. After this promotional period, the cost of the camera will go up to $129.99.

I consider this a basic camera at a good price. While many people are not buying cameras as they are built into their smart phones, I still think a dedicated camera is a good choice. If your kids are into photography, it is far better to give them a $65 camera than a $650 smart phone. If they drop the camera in water, off a cliff, in the toilet, or smear it with peanut butter and try to feed it to the dog – you are not going to mind as much with a $65 item. In addition, cameras are quite resilient whereas when I drop my smart phone a couple feet, it threatens to shatter.

When price comparing this unit, I discovered this is a bit of an older model that many stores no longer have in stock. However, here are the prices from other retailers in Canada:

  • $89.95 @ Best Buy Canada
  • $89.95 @ Future Shop Canada (OOS)
  • $90.99 + $12.06 shipping @ Newegg.ca (OOS)
  • $94.99 @ Shop.ca (OOS)

Secondary sellers are trying to sell these cameras for $111 or more at Amazon.ca. It is easy to see that The Source Canada has the best price by nearly $35.

The Fujifilm JX660 camera has all you need for a simple but useful camera. The 16MP sensor captures good quality images. For video, enjoy HD 720p recording. There is a dedicated movie recording button and you can edit the videos as well (trimming, joining). With 5x optical zoom, you will get closer to your subject without having to shove the camera right up close.

In addition, see everything through a large 2.7″ monitor. I find monitor size integral to good quality images. If I cannot see the picture I am shooting, my photo composition will suffer. Even the width of a hair of movement can turn a good quality picture into so-so if your lighting is not right or you catch the edge of something you do not want in your picture.

This camera comes with a rechargeable lithium ion battery that charges through a USB cable. A two-year warranty from FUJI will give you peace of mind.

As the camera retails for over $20, free shipping to your home is included.

Today Only: 50% Off Fujita Xtreme HD Lite Sports Waterproof Camera @ The Source – Now $60 (Expired)

Posted by on February 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM

Today Only: 50% Off Fujita Xtreme HD Lite Sports Waterproof Camera @ The Source Now $60 (Expired)

Want another way to capture your life? The Fujita Xtreme HD lite sports camera is on sale for just $59.99 today only at The Source. It was originally priced at $119.99, which puts it at a $60 discount (50% off).

A friend of mine recently mentioned to me that he has been looking into getting a GoPro camera but that his budget just wouldn’t allow it. Those cameras are extremely popular at the moment and with due reason but shelling out a couple of hundreds on one just isn’t possible for everyone.

The Fujita action camera is definitely a great compromise, especially if you take advantage of today’s sale to get it for 50% off. Here’s a quick round-up of its specs:

  • 720p, 30 fps & 5MP
  • Mountable to a helmet, dashboard or bike handle bar
  • Waterproof up to 33′

It’s also very easy to use as all you need to do is press one button to operate it. At The source, there are 9 reviews for it and a total of 4/5 stars, which is quite surprising for an affordable action camera like this one that won’t break the bank. Here’s what one reviewer had to say about it:

Calling this “a poor man’s GoPro” doesn’t come close to doing it justice. This thing shoots absolutely crystal clear video at almost any distance, even right up close. (Think “a few inches.”) My only gripe would be the sound; there’s a tiny pinhole in the back through which sound reaches the built-in condenser microphone, and even when I’m only a few feet from someone, you can barely hear their voice at all, and even mine is somewhat muted. Still, this camcorder represents GREAT value for the money, even at full price.

As for the sound, it can definitely be a hit or miss in that department. Even for a highly reputed action like the GoPro, you could have sound that’s not 100% clear depending on the activity you are performing and the weather outside.

Shipping

With regards to shipping, a $4.99 standard fee will apply at checkout but make sure to enter The Source coupon code TS4411 before you check out to get free shipping. Alternatively, you could also have your order shipped to your local The Source store for free.

The Source Canada: $50 Off Garmin Nuvi 66LM GPS – Now $140 & Free Shipping

Posted by on February 1, 2015 at 12:00 PM

The Source Canada: $50 Off Garmin Nuvi 66LM GPS Now $140 & Free ShippingDon’t get lost ever again with the Garmin Nuvi 66LM GPS. Originally priced at $189.99, it’s now on sale for $139.99 at The Source.

With a 6″ LCD screen, the Garmin Nuvi 66LM GPS is super easy to use and comes with maps of Canada, the US along with a lifetime supply of maps. The last part means that you can update your device  up to 4 times per year at no extra charge. Plenty of other GPS devices have a tendency to stop working after a couple of years but you can rest assured that this one won’t.

In terms of a price comparison, both Future Shop and Best Buy have this same GPS for $189.99. Although The Source’s site doesn’t boast any reviews, here’s what one reviewer had to say about it at Future Shop:

I like Garmin. I had Lifetime Maps on my last Garmin and they still pumped out updates for that model after almost 8 years. I respect that. My Dad got a different brand and map updates were cancelled on his model after a few years. My older Garmin did have a password option, this one doesn’t. Also worth mentioning that there is no “split screen” view as is shown in all the advertising pictures… the image on the right does not seem to be an actual option… just an artistic rendering.

The lack of a split screen that the reviewer mentions is actually a downside that many other reviewers have echoed as well but it’s not really a negative point per se as this isn’t a feature that would usually be available on a GPS anyways. The reviewer goes on to praise the touch keyboard for its ease of use, especially for anyone who travels a lot for work.

Although it’s not available at Canadian Tire anymore, I found 18 reviews on their site with a general consensus of 4.6/5 stars. That’s definitely pretty amazing, especially with comments like this one:

After going through the other top brands, I have finally settled on Garmin. Easy to use, great accuracy, and free updates makes this unit a top buy that won’t get you lost.

Usually, a flat $4.99 shipping rate applies to every order but make sure to enter the Source coupon code TS4411 at checkout to get free shipping. If you prefer, you can also choose to have your order shipped to your local The Source store for a free pick-up as well.

The Source Canada: 50% Off JBL Duet2BLK II 2.0 Speaker System – Now $70

Posted by on January 29, 2015 at 11:30 AM

The Source Canada: 50% Off JBL Duet2BLK II 2.0 Speaker System Now $70

Need new speakers? The JBL Duet2BLK II 2.0 speaker system is on sale for just $69.99 at The Source right now. They were originally priced at $134.99, which puts them at half off!

These speakers come in a pack of two and feature Phoenix transcuder technology with a great bass. They’re easy to set up and as you can see on the picture above, can easily be placed on just about any surface.

Reviews

Although there are no reviews for these speaker on The Source’s site, I did find a couple of very useful reviews at Amazon, where it’s currently sold out. With 19 reviews thus far, these speakers have generated a general consensus of 4/5 stars with reviews like this one:

So first impressions: the Duet II is easy to set up and easy to use. Basically, there are only three pieces to the unit; the adaptor, the left speaker, and the right speaker.

And here’s another one:

For someone who listens almost exclusively to classical music, I would recommend these reasonably priced speakers to listeners who do not need the exaggerated base response one hears in rock and rap music.

The reviewer further goes on to say that it’s nothing against other musical genres but in his opinion, the speakers are simply better suited for classical music. This is a fact echoed by a ocuple of other reviewers as well, who have praised the JBL speakers for listening to jazz, blues, vocalist music, etc.

$20 off $100+ code

Last week, Avigayil blogged about a The Source coupon code for a $20 discount when you spend over $100. While this code can’t be applied if you only get this speaker, you could, however, apply it if you add a filler item and reach the $100 minimum threshold. Check out your local The Source flyer for inspiration or there are also hundreds of deals in the clearance outlet section.

This Samsung NX1000 20.3 MP camera, for instance, is on sale for just $399.96 (reg. $699.99) and is actually as high as $759.98 on Amazon (in a white colour though).

Shipping

Shipping is at a flat rate of $4.99 per order but if you don’t use the coupon code mentioned above, then you can instead use the Source coupon code: TS4411 to get free shipping on any order.

Alternatively, you can also choose to pick up your order in-stores for free without the use of any code.

The Source Coupon Code: $20 Off $100 Purchase & Free Shipping on $25

Posted by on January 21, 2015 at 4:30 PM

The Source Coupon Code: $20 Off $100 Purchase & Free Shipping on $25

If you missed our exclusive coupon code for $20 off $100 (for 100 people), then you are in luck. The Source Canada has released a new coupon code for $20 off $100.

Click here to shop @ The Source Canada now

  • Coupon Code: AIRMILES100
  • Discount: $20 off $100
  • Expiry: 31st January 2015

The promo code excludes usual items like gift cards, cellular cards, and the like. However, there are some very good deals if you play your cards right. This Xbox One 500GB console with Kinect and Ryse: Son of Rome is currently on sale from $399.99 down to $349.99. This matches Boxing Day prices we saw at other retailers selling refurbished Xbox One consoles. However, after coupon code you can buy the refurbished console with kinect and game for just $329.99. That is the cheapest I have seen it anywhere. The console will come with a three-month manufacturer’s warranty, but you have the option of extending the warranty through Advantage.

Bose is one of those brands that rarely ever goes on sale. However, they are not excluded from this coupon code so you can pick out some small shiny Bose sound system or pair of headphones to receive $20 off. I chose the new Bose SoundLink Color Bluetooth Speaker that retails for $139.99. After coupon code, the SoundLink came down to $119.99 in my cart. This speaker is full price ($139.99) at both Best Buy Canada and Future Shop. Personally, I have wanted the BOSE Soundlink Mini Bluetooth Speaker for a coon’s age but was never willing to spend over $200 on it. The classic Bose speaker retails for $219.99, and comes down to $199.99 after coupon.

I am afraid I do not know much about tablets these days, but there is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 SM-T210 7″ dual-core 8GB tablet on sale right now as it is open box. The sale price is $129.96, and the coupon brings this tablet down to $109.96. I may not know much about this brand of tablets, but just over $100 for a brand name tablet with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean seems like a good deal. The product is ‘open box’ so the box may be damaged but the product is in perfect shape. The tablet comes with a full one-year warranty as well.

I think all of these are very good tech deals and worth looking at if you are in the market for any of the products mentioned above. Receive free shipping on orders of $25 or more. For this and future Source coupon codes, visit our forum.

The Source Canada Promo Code: Exclusive $20 Off $100 For the First 100 Customers

If you are up early this morning and checking our blog, you’ll be one of the luckier ones who can take advantage of this exclusive coupon code from The Source. You can use it to get $20 off $100 on any purchase of sale or regular priced items. It has the regular exclusions of gift cards, rate cards and cellular. This coupon is only valid for 100 people, so you won’t wait to wait to use it.

Click here to shop @ Thesource.ca now

  • Coupon Code: BMOOSE100
  • Discount: $20 off $100
  • Expiry: 100 uses

Like I said, you can use it for absolutely anything on site (exclusions apply). As long as your total hits $100, your $20 will be discounted.

One of the hottest deals you’ll get with this coupon is on the Apple iPod Touch 5th generation 32GB. It is regularly $269.99, but is on sale for $259.99. Add the coupon code and pay only $239.99. Looking around, I see it only as regular price at stores like Walmart and Best Buy. If you’ve been waiting for a sale on an iPod Touch, this is going to be your best bet.

Similarly, if you are looking for an Apple iPod Nano 7th generation 16GB, your best deal will be with this coupon from The Source. Regularly $149.99, you’ll get it for $119.99. The cheapest I saw it elsewhere was $144 at Walmart.

If you’ve also been waiting for the Beats Solo 2.0 on-ear headphones to go on sale, by using this coupon at The Source, you’ll get them for $179.99, with a regular price of $219.99. Looking around, the cheapest I see them for is $189.99.

This coupon will no longer work once it gets to 100 uses, so if you’ve tried and it doesn’t work, feel free to let us know in the comments below.

I’ve also been told that The Source is going to have a huge overstock sale today, but at time of writing this morning, I don’t see that on their site. Hopefully it will come up in time for you to make a great deal on an overstock deal that much better.

Since you’ll be spending over $100, your shipping will be free, as The Source has a low threshold of $25 for free shipping. You’ll want to keep an eye on the coupon page for The Source and even subscribe to find out when their next coupon will be out as you never know when this deal will be repeated.

The Source: JBL 10W Charge Bluetooth Speaker Was $160 | Now $89.99

Posted by on January 1, 2015 at 5:15 PM

The Source: JBL 10W Charge Bluetooth Speaker Was $160 | Now $89.99

The Source has yet again discounted the JBL Charge 10W Bluetooth Stereo Speaker with Built-In Bass Port for just $89.99, originally $160. This was one of the Black Friday door-crasher deals at The Source, so it is nice to see it making a comeback.

I price compared the JBL Bluetooth speaker with Best Buy Canada where it was on sale for $129.99 and is now sold out. They listed the original price of the JBL speaker, model number JBLCHARGEBLKAM, as $199.99 (thus $70 off). This is quite obviously a markup to make the discount look better at Best Buy than it really was. I also found the same JBL 10W unit (in black) at Amazon Canada for $112.99. It is important to use model numbers when price comparing as different models or years may look very similar.

This speaker has a high-capacity 6000mAh Lithium-Ion battery for up to 12 hours of playback time on a single charge. You can also use this power bank to charge your MP3 player, smart phone, or other devices while on the go. There is a built-in USB port to accommodate any charging cable.

The speaker itself features dual stereo speakers with 10W total output power and a built-in bass port. The unit sounds very good according to reviews:

I just got mine today and I love it so much I haven’t stopped using it! It gets so loud and it’s so clear! For the price it’s way better than Jambox mini or even the Beats Pill. Pill killer for sure! Must have for portable music lovers!!!

Connect your device to the JBL speaker wirelessly with Bluetooth. The only negative appears to be that the speaker does not work with laptops. I never use my external speaker system with my laptop, so that is not a deal killer for me. This JBL 10W speaker is meant to be ultra-portable so I would see pairing it with my cell phone most often.

I am excited this deal has made a comeback. When this was a door crasher for Black Friday, Mooser Stephanie decided to pick one up. She said:

Just ordered the JBL charge speaker on sale. I can’t wait to get it. I’ve heard the sound out of this thing and it’s fantastic!

I hope the speaker is everything you wanted! The Source Canada is currently offering free shipping on orders of $25 or more, thus this speaker will ship for free.

The Source: $35 Off Sony Cyber-shot Camera – Now $65

Posted by on December 30, 2014 at 12:42 PM

The Source: $35 Off Sony Cyber shot Camera Now $65

The Source Canada currently has the best price on a simple point and shoot Sony Cyber-shot DSCW800B Digital Camera. Originally $99.99, purchase the camera for just $64.99 with free shipping (on orders over $25).

While this camera is on sale at many places, The Source does have the best price. Here are the price comparisons I dug up to ensure that you are getting the best deal.

  • $69.55 @ Staples Canada (in-store only)
  • $69.99 @ Best Buy Canada
  • $75.99 @ Sony Canada

Amazon Canada did not have the camera in stock themselves, but a secondary seller was selling it for $99.99. I also did find the camera ‘cheaper’ at MTC Factory Outlet but it was refurbished, cost $59.99, and you would have to pay for shipping on top of that so it really wasn’t a better deal. Overall, The Source has the best price especially with free shipping.

This camera comes fully loaded with 20.1MP, 5x Optical Zoom, 10x Digital Zoom, 720 HD Video, and a 2.7″ LCD Screen. Your camera also comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery so there is no need to go out and purchase a pack or two of batteries to keep your camera going. Internal memory, as per usual, is quite small so you will need to purchase an SD card if you do not already have one.

I like the shooting features on this camera; it reminds me of my DSLR. You can shoot pictures in high sensitivity, night scene, night portrait, landscape, portrait, beach, snow, gourmet, or pet mode. I have to admit, while the first few shooting modes are quite common, the last few are rather different. I have never heard of gourmet or pet mode before.

The reviews are very positive for this little camera:

I had been searching for a good little camera for a decent price and bought this camera. I got it on sale and it was the best purchase I have made in a long time The Source: $35 Off Sony Cyber shot Camera Now $65 Pictures are clear and it loads crazy fast.

I remember when you could rarely find a decent point and shoot digital camera for under $100. The Sony Cyber-shot is an amazingly camera that gives you a lot of clarity, depth, and richness for such a small unit.

Kindle 6″ Wi-Fi eReader with Touchscreen Only $59.99 Today @ The Source Canada (EXPIRED)

Posted by on December 26, 2014 at 1:08 PM

Kindle 6 Wi Fi eReader with Touchscreen Only $59.99 Today @ The Source Canada (EXPIRED)

Personally, I love to read. The Kindle seems like a convenient way to get all of your reading done on one device. Today, The Source Canada has the Kindle 6″ Wi-Fi eReader with Touchscreen for only $59.99. This awesome little eReader would have normally cost you $79.99.

I always love getting into a good book for long bus rides, but to be honest with you it can become a hassle lugging books around with me for travels. That is why having a Kindle would be excellent if you love to read. You can have so many books available right at your fingertips, even if you finish a book half way through your travels you can just select another and keep on reading.

During the Boxing Day sale at The Source Canada, you can purchase the Kindle 6″ Wi-Fi Reader with Touchscreen for only $59.99. This Kindle is the black version and would normally cost you $79.99. I did a little price comparison on this Kindle eReader. The next best price I was able to find was $64.00 @ Amazon.caIt was also regularly $79 at Amazon Canada.

This Kindle eReader is touchscreen and also has an anti-glare screen to enable you to feel like you are reading off real paper. You will be able to read in any light settings with no problem. I really do hate glares on my devices. The battery life also seems fantastic. If you read for only half an hour each day, the battery is estimated to last you up to 4 weeks. Realistically if I get into a good book, I can read for several hours each day so the battery won’t last me that long.

If you connect to Wi-fi, you will be able to download from millions of books. This is an excellent device if you love to read. If you stumble across any words in your book that you don’t quite understand, you can just pop up the dictionary function to get it all figured out. Here is one of the reviews I found on Amazon.ca:

I was a little surprised at how easy to use this was. The first time I turned it on, it asked me a couple of questions and was ready to go within a few minutes.
Alright, it does not have the romance of a book. But then, it does not close on you unless you stick your thumb right into the spine. You can read it with just a thumb! And you can change the font and text size, and make the same book different when you get bored.

You can purchase the Kindle eReader at this price both online and in stores at The Source. You will even get free shipping with this purchase since it exceeds the minimum spend threshold to get shipping included from TheSource.ca.

Nexxtech Portable Colour Scanner Only $19.96 @ The Source Canada (EXPIRED)

Posted by on December 25, 2014 at 12:30 PM

Nexxtech Portable Colour Scanner Only $19.96 @ The Source Canada (EXPIRED)

I usually bring my laptop wherever I go, it would be so convenient to have a portable scanner as well. If you are in the same boat, you can save $70 off of the Nexxtech Portable Colour Scanner’s original price and pay just $19.96.

While the expiry date for this deal from The Source Canada might say 28th January, I highly doubt that stock will last that long. If you are in need of a portable colour scanner, act now. This Nexxtech Portable Colour Scanner is available at this price online at TheSource.ca only.

This portable colour scanner is particularly ideal to have as a travel companion. It has features like OneTouch Scan as well as PDF buttons. You will never have an issue scanning business cards, photo or important documents again. The maximum document scan size is 8.5″ x 36″ so this might even be great for scanning long receipts.

The Nexxtech Portable Colour Scanner comes with a wall mount, software CD, USB Cable and even a travel pouch. This scanner seems to have pretty great reviews as well. One of the reviews reads:

This is a GREAT little scanner, once I figured out how to turn on the color scan function. It is very fast. I find that keeping your finger beside the photo as it goes through keeps it going in straight, as some pictures turned as they went through. So nice and small, very portable, took it home on the holiday and scanned all of my family’s old photos, now everyone wants me to come do their pictures. I LOVE THIS SCANNER!

The price is pretty excellent as well. I could not find this specific product at other retailers, but other portable scanners of this size sell for between $90 and $120. This specific Nexxtech Portable Colour Scanner would normally cost you $89.99. For example, the Hipstreet Handi-Scan Portable Scanner has the same qualities and sells for $89.95 @ BestBuy.ca.

This offer is part of the Boxing Day sales at The Source; you can view more Boxing Day deals in our forum here. If you add something else small to your shopping cart, you will also attain free shipping. The free shipping minimum threshold from TheSource.ca is $25.

$20 Off Xbox One Wireless Controller – $39.99 @ The Source

Posted by on December 24, 2014 at 12:55 PM

$20 Off Xbox One Wireless Controller $39.99 @ The Source

The Source Canada has discounted the Xbox One Wireless Controller from $59.99 down to $39.99 with free shipping! This is just one of their many Boxing week sales and one of the best offers in my opinion.

I price compared this controller with the competition right now:

  • $59.99 @ EB Games
  • $49.99 @ EB games (recycled)
  • $44.98 @ Amazon Canada
  • $59.99 @ Microsoft Canada
  • $58 @ NCIX Canada
  • $59.99 @ Newegg.ca (OOS)
  • $49 @ Walmart Canada

I cannot price compare with Best Buy or Future Shop right now as their websites are down preparing for the launch of their Boxing Day deals. However, I price compared with a ton of other stores including the legendary cheap giants (Walmart and Amazon), and The Source has by far the best price.

What can I tell you about this controller? I have never owned an Xbox so I am useless on the whole “it features this that and the other” presentation. This Xbox One controller is pretty much like the one before it (for the Xbox 3600 with slight modifications to make it more ergonomic and user friendly. Here are a few reviews:

I Love this controller. Its similar to the old one but they had changed it just slightly so it fits in your hands better.

and…

The xbox one controller is the best controller yet. one reason is easy to hold other reason is vibrate is perfect can even feel it in the triggers

I also do not expect this deal to hang around for long. It is a great discount and everyone who buys a new console knows you only get one controller in a console bundle and you need at minimum two if you are going to play with friends. Sure, you can be the lone gamer, but I find it much more fun to rant and rave and curse with a good friend.

Because the controller costs over $25, it will ship for free. For more great Boxing Week deals from The Source, check out Brooke’s post about The Source’s flyer.

This sale only seems to extend to older models of phone cases, so for instance, the Otterbox for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus aren’t part of the equation. So if you have an “older” phone, then now is definitely a great time to get a new phone case or maybe even get one for someone as a Christmas gift.

If you tend to drop your phone a lot, then the Otterbox Defender case is a very good choice. The one for the iPhone 5C, for instance, is on sale for just $35.99 (reg. $59.99). It comes with a screen protector, a sillicone outer layer and a polycarbonate cover. Both the outer layer and the cover are designed to absorb impact, which means that no matter how many times you drop it, it should keep your phone safe. Of course, there are always exceptions but for the most patter, you can rest assured that the Otterbox will get the job done.

After cracking the screen of one phone and dropping the other in the toilet, my hubby immediately bought an Otterbox case when getting yet another phone and let’s just say that he’s already had it for over a year — so far, so good!

In fact, The Source’s sale doesn’t only extend to Otterbox phone cases, but also to other accessories like the Otterbox utility latch. It’s on sale for just $23.99 (reg. $39.99) and is essentially a set of straps that you can use to secure your tablet to either any flat surface or your hand. It also comes with an accessory storage bag. I love that it can be used to secure a tablet to your hand as I tend to use my tablet in bed the most and it would super handy to watch movies without having to hold the tablet awkwardly and uncomfortably. At Amazon, this same product is actually $54.97 right now.

Usually, a $4.99 shipping charge would apply to any order but right now, you can use either The Source coupon code:  TS499 or TS4411 to get absolutely free shipping on any order.

The Source Canada: Total Chef Double Chocolate Fountain Was $120 | Now $80 (EXPIRED)

The Source Canada: Total Chef Double Chocolate Fountain Was $120 | Now $80 (EXPIRED)

If you are looking for a unique gift for friends or family or a fun way to entertain at a party, The Source has a great deal for you. Get the Total Chef double chocolate fountain in stainless steel for only $79.99, with a regular price of $119.99. This item will also ship for free as it is over the $25 minimum. It will also get to you before Christmas, as detailed on the shipping page for The Source, who has super fast shipping. You will be able to use it for your Christmas dessert!

I’m thinking of getting one of these chocolate fountains for my family for New Year’s Eve. The kids would absolutely love it, because really, who says no to flowing and delicious chocolate? You can dip fruit and other snacks into the chocolate, which is sort of like fondue, but so much better. Considering fondue machines run into the $50 price range, this item for $80 seems like so much a better choice.

If you are getting married soon, this would also be a fun way to do dessert. Just keep the bride far away from it as I once saw a photo of a bride splattered in the chocolate fountain that another guest knocked down. I don’t think that is a possibility if everyone is careful, but if you’ve got bad luck like I do, keep your white wedding dress far from the flowing dark chocolate!

This would make a unique gift for a new bride and groom or at a wedding shower.

You can melt 2lbs of chocolate per side, which doesn’t sound like a lot of chocolate – I could eat that in one sitting. Ok, I’m not being serious there, but 4lbs of chocolate should definitely feed all of your guests!

You could do one side dark and one side milk or one side white chocolate or one side dark chocolate. The bowls are also heated so your chocolate stays melted, because there is nothing worse than half-melted chocolate for dipping, which is the problem I sometimes get with fondues.

Home Depot sells this for $119.95 and Best Buy sells it for $91.98.
