We did a little snooping and found out if we went to both the Gap Canada and Banana Republic Canada websites to sign up for their newsletters too, they would also grace us with coupons.

The Gap coupon is good for 10% off your next purchase in the next 3 months. The Banana Republic Coupon is good for 20% off your entire purchase of $125 or more. Both are in-store coupons, so print off and use.

Note: All of these coupons got sent to the Moose, however I personally only receive the Old Navy one, so this has been tested. This I believe is due to my having previously signed up to Banana Republic and The Gap newsletters. I am not a current subscriber to Banana Republic however, but perhaps my previous newsletter subscription exempts me from this coupon again.

Groupon looks to be having a Canada wide deal, and its awesome! Just sign in to Groupon (or sign-up an account) and pick your city. If they have your city on their list, you can buy a $50 coupon for the Gap for only $25! The Gap has emailed it’s subscribers with an extra 40% off discounted items coupon, for JUNE 25th ONLY. Hey, they sent it to us at 3 am this morning so we couldn’t post it yesterday!

Now, I know there is controversy about these being posted because of them being thought of as ‘one time use’ coupons.

However: The Gap does not have a country wide database that all their computers are hooked up to that record and register what coupon codes have all been used when they are used.

Thus: I can use this coupon in Gap Store #1 in West Edmonton Mall, and you can use this coupon in St. Johns, and they both will work until the Gap upgrades their system.

Often with these types of coupons I will print of one for myself and one for my fiance and then we pay for our purchases separately and so far haven’t had any difficulties.

Basically if you buy a pair of 1969 jeans (which is their main brand of jeans) you get a scratch card that gets you $15, $20 or $25 off the said pair of jeans.
