Canadian Freebie: Green Tea HP Samples

Canadian Freebie: Green Tea HP Samples

I love freebies! It is even better when amazing companies are willing to send them right to my door. Right now, you can grab a free sample of Green Tea HP. Fill out the form, and your sample that pours and mixes with any cold water will soon be on its way.

In the summer months, I am much more prone to drink higher calorie drinks. I find it so much more tempting to grab an icy cold sweet beverage when it is hot outside. I grabbed this portable, low-calorie healthy freebie for myself for the upcoming summer months. This healthy tea mixes in with any cold water for a refreshing beverage on the go.

Getting this freebie is simple. Click on the link and you will be taken to an information form. Enter in your mailing info and your e-mail. There is also a comments section, which you could leave blank. I wrote that I could not wait to try the tea in that box. Make sure to input the correct code to prove you are not a robot at the very end. Once you hit submit, the form just says your request will be given to the owner of the store. I did not receive a confirmation e-mail confirmation for this freebie.

Green Tea HP is promoting itself as a healthy option to replace high-calorie soda and coffee drinks. These teas are in a small dissolvable pack, and you simply add them to water for your drink. Your tea is then portable and single serving, making it easier to help you achieve any wellness goals you may have. This seems like it is particularly a good option for those of you who like to drink syrupy sweet Nestea or other cold sweet drinks.

Green Tea HP does not specify what our sample will include, but this worldwide company has many flavours to choose. There are several different lines of teas and flavours. An interesting looking cream line includes flavours such as banana, coconut, orange, key lime and more. I wonder how they would taste blended with ice. I am also eyeing the Mocha product line, as I am a coffee addict. There are flavours such as vanilla cappuccino and mocha that would be a good substitute to my morning Keurig coffee. They also have a beauty line, a muscle line, a caffeine free line, and the original green tea product line, which are all fruit flavours. With so many choices, I am sure to find an awesome flavour that will be a great cold drink on a hot summer day. I cannot wait for my freebie to arrive.

Canadian Freebies: Free Sample of Numi Organic Tea K-Cup from RealCup

Canadian Freebies: Free Sample of Numi Organic Tea K Cup from RealCup

Happy Earth Day, let’s drink some tea! Check out the free three-capsule sample of Numi Organic Tea from RealCup. Sign in through Facebook from the link below and share with your friends the simple change you will make to make the world a better place. After sharing, your free capsules will be on their way to your house in the mail. These capsules are compatible with all Keurig K-cups brewers.

I found this freebie to be a little bit confusing, but do not worry we can walk you through it for some free tea! In the promo on Real Cup’s Facebook page, Numi Organic Tea would like to help the world be a better place and is asking participants to commit to one of the nine ways to be more eco-friendly.  Pick one – I chose to practice turning off the water when brushing my teeth. I am still trying to teach my daughter to turn off the water while brushing.

If you do not like broadcasting information about this Facebook promo, you could always try hiding the post after it is on your timeline. Click to your profile, find the post and change the privacy settings on the post to whatever you like. You could also tag your friend so they get free tea too.

After you share, you are given a form to fill out your shipping information and are given more details about flavours in the sample pack. Your sample pack includes three K-cups including:

  • Jasmine Green Tea
  • Morrocan Mint Tea
  • Aged Earl Grey Tea

After registering, you will receive a promo code for Numi Organic Tea. Numi Organic Tea does not ship their products to Canada from their website, so unfortunately the promo code only works for those of you in the U.S. Numi Organic Tea mentions on their website that you can now buy their delicious teas from Amazon Canada.

Your free sample will take 4-6 weeks to arrive. There is one additional flavor available for these capsules, a Rooibos Chai that sounds delicious. Unfortunately, this flavor is not included in the sample pack. If I decide to purchase this tea, that flavour will be in my order for the next round.

Numi Organic Tea also mentioned their capsules are recyclable! Recently I was reading about how no K-cups were recyclable and mentioned it in this post about upcycling K-cups. If these new capsules that are compatible with the Keurig K-cups truly are recyclable, I hope the technology takes off in the K-cup market. Until then, I will continue using my refillable K-cups I mentioned in my post and upcycling K-cups.

Teavana: 75% Off Spiced Apple Cider Rooibos Tea + No Minimum Free Shipping This Weekend Only (EXPIRED)

Teavana: 75% Off Spiced Apple Cider Rooibos Tea + No Minimum Free Shipping This Weekend Only (EXPIRED)

Bleeeh, this winter has been a particularly cold one for Canada, hasn’t it? Heck, even Montreal is on the verge of breaking a record for having the coldest weather! Warm up with a cup of spiced apple cider rooibos tea from Teavana without having to step a foot outside. It’s now a whopping 75% off and you can get it shipped absolutely free this weekend only with the coupon code: SHIPSPRING.

Here are the sale prices for the spiced apple cider rooibos tea depending on the amount you get:

  • 2 oz: $2.25
  • 4 oz: $4.49
  • 8 oz: $8.98
  • 16 oz: $17.96

After setting out to write about this deal, I became skeptical as to whether or not the free shipping offer would truly apply to Canada because the promotional banner on Teavana’s homepage specifies that it’s for “U.S. orders only”. However, I plugged in my address at checkout and am happy to report that it does indeed apply! In fact, once you input the code and enter your information, the “shipping method” drop-down menu at checkout will switch to: “Canada – Free!”

Just to be extra sure, I fished out my credit card from my wallet and was still offered free shipping on my order, even until the very last step of checkout.

Here’s a screenshot of my cart after I entered the Teavana coupon code mentioned above:

Teavana: 75% Off Spiced Apple Cider Rooibos Tea + No Minimum Free Shipping This Weekend Only (EXPIRED)

As you can see, any order also comes with a free sample of the Maharaja/ Samurai chai tea blend with rock sugar.

With regards to the spiced apple cider rooibos tea, it actually has nearly 70 reviews with a total likeability score of 3.8/5 stars. Here’s what one tea drinker had to say about it:

I absolutely love this tea! I received a 5-oz tin of this tea as a gift from a friend and now I am all in. Like all food and drinks we consume, personal preference plays an important role in which products we gravitate towards and for me, the gravitational pull is strong with this tea. The combination of spices work so well together and this tea has never turned out bitter for me (I just followed the directions).

The fact that this reviewer points out that this tea has never been bitter is a good point to note because a couple of other reviewers gave this tea a lower score because of the bitter aftertaste. In my own experience, I have found rooibos tea to be slightly bitter but perhaps as the reviewer above pointed out, it all depends in how you prepare it.

No worries if you don’t like rooibos or spicy tea in general. There are plenty more tea to choose from, even other ones on sale, including a couple of teapots, tea tins, carafes etc. Usually, shipping is only free on orders over $50, so the free shipping code mentioned above is a great way to try something new.

This Weekend Only: No Minimum Free Shipping @ Teavana With Promo Code

Love Teavana’s tea? Then you will be delighted to know that this weekend, you can secure absolutely free shipping on any order, with no required minimum purchase!

Click here to shop @ Teavana.com

  • Coupon Code: WINTERWKND
  • Discount: free shipping on any order
  • Expires: 25th January 2015

Do you ever just not feel like leaving the house, especially to get something so trivial as tea? I love tea and I drink a lot of it but I’m not the biggest fan of wasting gas just to go grab myself some tea.

With this being said, I love no minimum free shipping offers for this exact reason. There aren’t very many items on sale right now at Teavana but if you have a favourite tea and don’t want to leave the house to go get it, then this promotion is for you.

Browsing around Teavana’s site, I was looking for a new tea to try and stumbled on the Wild Orange Blossom Herbal tea. Although it’s one of the cheaper teas that you can get as it’s $6.98 for 2oz, the description makes it sound absolutely delicious with its hibiscus flowers, rose hip peels and citrus slices. Here’s what one happy tea sipper had to say about it:

Wonderful way to start the day with loads of energy! Great to get the stomach working after meals!

When I mentioned Teavana’s coupon code for free shipping to a friend of mine who loves their teas, she recommended the Moroccan mint green tea. It’s $4.98 per 2oz and features a refreshing spearmint flavour. I have to admit that I would normally not even consider trying a green tea with a minty flavour but according to my friend, it’s not too overpowering and is a tea that her entire office has been obsessed with recently. A happy reviewer had this to say about it as well:

I was hesitant to order this tea because I’m not a big fan of green tea. I know it has huge health benefits though so I though I’d give it a try. I LOVE THIS TEA! I drink a cup every evening and it just sets the mood for a relaxing evening. It is quite smooth and the spearmint is just the right level – not too strong but still present. I’ve recommended this to everyone who will listen.

Moosers, what is your favourite tea at Teavana?

Black Friday Sale On Now @ Keurig Canada! 24% Off All K-Cups

Black Friday Sale On Now @ Keurig Canada! 24% Off All K Cups

Love the convenience of k-cups? As part of their Black Friday Sale, Keurig is now offering 24% off all of their k-cups!

I go through k-cups like there’s no tomorrow as both my hubby and I are absolutely addicted to the convenience of these. Whether you already have a Keurig machine or are planning on getting on during the Black Friday craze going on right now, you’re going to need k-cups! Even if you already have a pantry full of these, I suggest taking advantage of this deal because it’s always better to take advantage of a deal now instead of paying full price when you need it in the future.

Not sure which k-cups to try? The Donut House collection is a very popular choice and it’s on sale for just $14.35 (reg. $18.88) for a bo of 24 k-cups. I tried buying it last year around this time and by the time that I got to the check-out, it was already sold out! It looks like the packaging has been changed though as it used to be a bright pink instead of the brown that it is now. It’s a very delicious and addicting coffee. In fact, out of 20 reviews, this coffee has generated a total consensus of 4.6/5 stars with reviews like this on:

Usually I find light roast lacking in flavor and tasting almost watery but that was not the case for this one. The taste is strong but extremely smooth with almost none of that dark roast bitterness

Another one I would recommend is the Van Houtte French Vanilla. It’s a light roast coffee with vanilla flavouring that you can now get on sale for $14.35 instead of $18.88. You can also get an iced coffee version on sale for $17.73 (reg. $23.32). It even has better reviews than the hot alternative.

Speaking of which, a couple of days ago I blogged about a deal on the new Keurig Rivo. You can currently get it on sale for $179.99 along with a free pack of Rivo packs and a free carousel. This promotion is on until November 27th and the best part is that if you wanted to pick up an extra pack of Rivo cups, you could get them on sale right now for just $11.39 instead of $14.99.

Shipping is free on orders over $45.

I haven’t tried very many of Teavana’s teas but I have tried the Earl Grey creme black tea as per a friend’s recommendation and it’s definitely a must-try for anyone who loves Early Grey and black tea in general. It’s $4.98 for 2oz, a price that comes down to $3.49 with the discount. In fact, here’s what one happy reviewer had to say about it:

I’ve always loved Earl Grey teas I like how strong they are and this tea makes me feel like I should be in London sipping on it. It tastes Fancy! Especially with that little vanilla crème flavor in the background. I love it!

For all of you big time tea drinkers, you will be happy to know that this code is stackable with the discount that is automatically applied when you buy either 1lb, 2lb or 5lb of tea. Although this offer excludes the Oprah chai, you can get the following discounts on top of the code:

  • 20% off 5lb of tea
  • 15% of 2lb of tea
  • 10% off 1lb of tea

Even if you’re not a big time tea drinker, this could actually be a great office Christmas gift idea. It can be hard shopping for a bunch of people, but with Teavana’s discounts, you could buy one pound or more of tea and divide it into little pouches. Add a personal message and voila — Christmas gifts without breaking the bank!

This Teavana coupon code may also be used on sale items but there aren’t any teas to choose from at this time. However, if you’re shopping for Christmas gifts, then there are a couple of really nice gift sets that you can get an ever bigger discount on such as these ones:

A free sample of Maharaja/ Samurai chai blend with rock sugar is also included with any order. Shipping is free on orders over $50 and although Teavana ships from the US, it is highly unlikely that you will be charged any duty or customs fees.

Teavana Promo Code: Free Shipping With No Minimum

Get free shipping with no minimum at Teavana this weekend with promo code. The great thing about this is that they ship from the U.S. and you may have to pay duties and fees at checkout. But, with no minimum to worry about to get free shipping, you can keep your purchase under $20 to avoid these fees.

Click here to shop @ Teavana.com now

  • Coupon Code: Daylight14
  • Discount: Free Shipping
  • Expiry: 2nd November 2014

Normally, you’d get free shipping when you spend over $50. Personally, $50 worth of tea sounds like a lot to me! I know you can also get products from Teavana, but if you just want tea, this is a big spend.

Speaking of products, I did find this Care Asia tea tumbler, that is on sale now for only $14.48, now 50% off. While this tea tumbler is perfect for tea on the go, it also has a feel-good vibe to it as Teavana donates $3 for every sale to Care, which is a great organization. There are also Africa and India tea tumblers available, all with their own styles. As I said, these are all under $20 so no duties! If you want to get more items, simply do separate orders.

I am a white tea type of tea drinker and I love the sound of most of the flavours that Teavana offers. The snow geisha sounds heavenly. I’ll get 2oz for $14.98 and again, no shipping or duties.

Chai is also a favourite of mine, especially in the winter when you want that spice to get your through the cold days. Although, I’d much prefer a sweeter type of spice like the caramel chai offers. This one is only $8.98 for 2oz or get 4oz for $17.96. While 2oz sounds like not very much, tea is pretty light, so it probably adds up!

For more free shipping deals, you should check out all of the stores that offer it with no minimum. Also, keep yourself aware of all the tea-licious coupons offered by Teavana.

Starbucks Canada Promo Code: Free Shipping On Orders Over $50 (+ Free Taster Cup With Purchase)

There is still time to take advantage of a free shipping offer on orders over $50 at Starbucks! Shipping is usually only free on orders over $75, so promotion like these are definitely great, especially for all you Starbucks lovers. Plus, you can also receive a taster cup for free with purchase of a 1lb bag of the Anniversary Blend.

Click here to shop @ Starbucks.ca now

  • Coupon Code: FALLFREESHIP
  • Discount: free shipping on $50+
  • Expiry: 7th September 2014

At first, I figured that the free taster cup included with purchase of a pound of the Anniversary blend is the Anniversary Siren’s Tail mug, but as the name implies, it really is a taster cup. Valued at $4.95, the taster cup closely resembles it’s larger counterpart in that it features Starbucks’ iconic siren on a blue background, but unlike the mug, it’s handleless. Also, while the mug can hold 355ml (12 fl oz), the taster cup can only hold 90ml (3 fl oz). Since the mug is both microwave and dishwasher safe, I can also assume that the taster cup is also. I have a very bad habit of taking hours to drinking my coffee, so any mug that is microwave safe is ideal for me as I often re-heat my coffee!

The Anniversary Blend is definitely one of Starbucks’ more popular blends for its boldness and spicy notes. Aged for three to five years, the Anniversary Blend’s beans lend a bold and spicy taste to one of Starbucks’ most popular blends. I have had the opportunity to taste this coffee a number of times and every sip has been delightful. At $18.95 per pound, it’s definitely a great coffee to give to anyone as a gift, especially in combination with this taster cup. Either that or you could also bust out the cup for guests to try! The only hitch is that if you want more than one taster cup for free, you’re going to need create seperate orders as the number of taster cups don’t increase with the number of Anniversary blend coffees added to the basket.

Since you do still need to reach a $50 minimum threshold for the above Starbucks promo code to work, I suggest you also check out the Summer Sale. I spotted a number of great deals like these ones:

What is your favourite Starbucks blend? Let us know in the comments section!

Keurig Canada: 15% Off All K-Cups

Posted by on September 2, 2014 at 5:30 PM

Keurig Canada: 15% Off All K Cups

Need K-cups? Then head over to Keurig right now because you can now save 15% off all Keurig brewed beverages during their Labour Day Sale.

Since I’m a huge coffee addict, I am always on the look-out for a good deal on k-cups because paying full-price for them is not only extremely not worth it money-wise, but it’s also completely useless. As I mentioned during the last promotion that Keurig ran, I always calculate whether any given deal is worth it by dividing the total price of the box of k-cups by the amount of cups inside. In this case for instance, you’re looking at paying about $0.55 per k-cup, which is actually even better than during their last promotion. In fact, the last time that they were offering a similar discount was back in celebration of Saint-Patrick’s Day, during which you could save anywhere from 5% to 20% off your purchases. So, if you’re out of k-cups or are about to run out, then now is definitely a good time to save.

If this is your first time buying from Keurig.ca, then keep in mind that you will automatically be considered a member and you will benefit from the member price immediately.

For all of you Starbucks fans, you will be happy to know that Keurig has recently added Starbucks k-cups to its long list of k-cup varieties with the following popular brews to pick from:

All four of these are priced at $18.35 per box of 24 k-cups and although it’s more expensive than Timothy’s or Van Houtte coffee, which is on averaege $13.35 per box, it’s nevertheless cheaper than if you were to buy directly from the Starbucks Stores. To give you an idea, 24-count boxes of Verona or Veranda coffee are $22.95 at Starbucks.ca.

If you haven’t already, then I definitely suggest you give Timothy’s Morning Blend coffee a try. It’s $13.35 for 24 k-cups and here’s what one reviewer had to say about it:

Gentle, non brassy coffee. I was very prone to drinking Timothy’s Breakfast Blend but this far surpasses it for flavour, smoothness, general taste. This will be my morning coffee of choice from now on.

K-cups of coffee aren’t the only ones on special as you can also save on a variety of teas like the Lipton Refresh Iced tea. A box of 22 k-cups in down to $13.35 as well.

Shipping is free on orders over $45.

Starbucks Store Canada Promo Code: 25% Off VIA Refreshers or Iced Coffee

Posted by on July 18, 2014 at 1:00 PM

Starbucks Store Canada Promo Code: 25% Off VIA Refreshers or Iced Coffee

Starbucks fiends rejoice! This weekend only, you can save an additional 25% on all Starbucks VIA Refreshers or Iced Coffee, including those that are already on sale.

Get VIA Ready Brew products @ Starbucks.ca now

  • Coupon Code: 25OFFICED
  • Discount: 25% off VIA Refreshers or Iced Coffee
  • Expiry: 20th July, 2014

What is VIA?

Starbuck’s VIA product line basically features a line of ready-made tea or coffee pouches that you pour over either hot or iced water. No other equipment is necessary, just: a glass, the pouch, water, ice (for Refreshers) and voila, instant refreshment!

Which products qualify for the code?
Although the Starbucks promo code above isn’t applicable towards the VIA line of Ready Brew or Latte coffee, you can use it on these products:

  • VIA Refreshers Very Berry Hibiscus: reg. $6.95 / $5.22 with code
  • VIA Refreshers Cool Lime: now $4.95 (reg. $6.95) $3.72 with code
  • VIA Iced Coffee: reg. $7.95 / $5.97 with code

While the iced tea packets come with five pouches, the iced coffee one comes with six instead. As I’m a self-proclaimed coffee addict, I’m most excited about trying out the iced coffee one, especially since it has a general consensus of five stars out of five with positive reviews like this one:

I go to my local Starbucks for iced coffee’s every other day and this is really close to what I get in the store….Just love it!!!

It is naturally sweetened with cane sugar, though you might need to add your regular cream or milk if that’s how you normally drink your coffee. Since ice has the terrible effect of diluting your drink, you could also make a batch of this coffee ahead of time (or maybe even brew it regularly), pour it into an ice cube tray and use those coffee ice cubes to then pour your next drink over.

I used to be a Starbucks addict and I know how crucial it can be to get that fix of your favourite drink, so I can definitely see these pouches coming in handy for a dark Starbucks-less day. These could also be a great substitute for those of you who don’t have a Starbucks store near you, or maybe even for taking to work.

Shipping is free on orders over $75. For all purchases that don’t meet that threshold, a $4.95 shipping fee will apply. You can also try checking out the online exclusives category for more Starbucks merchandise to save on. Simply hover over “gifts & extras” tab at the top of any Starbucks page and click on “online exclusives”. You could, for instance, get 18 Veranda Blend portion packs of coffee on sale for $37.95 instead of $49.50.

Moosers, have you tried Starbucks’ VIA Refreshers or Iced Coffee? What did you think?

David’s Tea Canada: Free Tea For Kids On Sunday!

Posted by on July 12, 2014 at 8:00 AM

Davids Tea Canada: Free Tea For Kids On Sunday!

Head to a David’s Tea store this Sunday and your kids can get their tea on! All kids under 12 get a free tea. Yippee!

I’ve been trying to get my kids to drink tea for a while now. They guzzle the juice I buy them, which is full of sugar and pretty much nothing else, even though I buy the organic, 100% fruit juice. It gets expensive and I worry about their teeth and all the extra sugar they really don’t need. Tea, on the other hand is healthy and while not completely inexpensive, probably cheaper than juice. They love Nestea iced tea, which is of course full of sugar, so I didn’t think the switch would be this hard. But, I think taking them to David’s Tea this week, where they’ll be served a free tea might make them open their minds a little. And, if they try it and don’t want it, yay, free tea for me!

This isn’t just any tea, either. With flavours like magic dragon, cotton candy, root beer float and cherry snocone, the kids are bound to love them!

I noticed this really cute kids’ iced tea mug, which, if your kids happen to love the tea they try, you could get to make drinking tea even cooler for them. I love the little lemon guy on the side as it is childish, but mature enough that my older kids would use this cup.

Imagine days of sitting on your porch swing, drinking iced tea with your kids. I can’t wait for Sunday!

  • Coupon Code: CHOOSE25
  • Discount: $25 off $100
  • Expiry: 13th July 2014

I love Teavana’s main banner text on their homepage: “sippin’ sunshine” in reference to their new iced tea cups. Available in a variety of styles and colours, they range from $7.95 to $24.95. I’m particularly tempted to get the yellow sorbet tumbler because of the delicious memories the name brings up for me. Just yesterday I bought and tried the Island Way sorbets, as per my dad’s recommendation, and ohmygosh are they ever delicious! They come in six main flavours like mango/orange, pina colada etc, and each comes in a natural shell (i.e. a coconut shell, half of an orange etc.).

To get back on topic though, the yellow sorbet tumbler is $14.95 and can hold up to 12 ounces (330ml) of tea or any other liquid of your choice. In fact, it can even be used for hot beverages, though it might be a little weird drinking coffee from a yellow tumbler. It’s BPA-free and the lid is made to avoid spills, which is a main feature I look for in a tumbler because I can’t even begin to tell you the amount of spills my purses have endured over the years. This same tumbler is also available in other colours like blue, berry, or green.

The good news is that these codes are also applicable to sale items, which you can find by clicking on tea products from the overhead menu on Teavana’s site. In fact, the Tropical Nut Paradise rooibos tea that I wrote about a couple of days ago is still available at 75% off for just $1.95 for two ounces.

This could also be a great opportunity to get a cast iron teapot, especially since these are the best for tea brewing. They’re more expensive than regular teapots by a long shot, but the important thing to know about them is that they enhance the flavour of tea, especially over time, and they also hold heat much better. I have been eyeing the Imperial Dragon cast iron teapot for a while now because of its lovely design, but since it’s regularly-priced at $189.95, the code above would definitely bring it down to a much better price of just $164.95. A more affordable cast iron teapot would be the Dragonfly one as it’s just $69.95 (or $64.95 with the code) and it features as lovely of a design.

Shipping is free on all orders over $50. For more Teavana coupon codes, be sure to keep an eye on the Bargainmoose forum.

Normally, you’d have to spend $50 to get free shipping, which in my opinion, is a lot of tea! You might just want to restock your favourite flavour or try a new one and not have to spend that much money in the process. I recently read this article in Oprah magazine about how the world has gone tea crazy. Everyone from MMA fighters to children to Oprah herself drinks tea. I recently began a little obsession with tea, although I don’t go for anything with caffeine. I think switching to tea is great for those who drink sugary juices, pops and the like, because tea is so healthy for you and basically deplete of calories. I read that just by switching to tea, you can really lose some weight, which makes total sense. For me, I only drink water anyway, so this is just like fancying up my water.

I would really love to find a tea flavour that I can chill and that my whole family will drink and love. I’ve tried a few and they find the actual tea taste too strong, even if I add sugar, but I’m still looking.

This blackberry mojito green tea is probably not best for my kids with caffeine in it, but it sounds so delicious and green tea is so healthy for you. You can get as low as 2 oz. for $7.98 and still enjoy your free shipping.

Their infuser tumblers are also a great way to take your tea with you. They look good and are durable made with double wall plastic. These are $19.98.

Always check for Teavana coupons before ordering anything.

David’s Tea Canada: $1 Iced Tea Of The Day Refill With One Time Purchase Of Iced Tea Mug

Davids Tea Canada: $1 Iced Tea Of The Day Refill With One Time Purchase Of Iced Tea Mug

How do you feel about sipping on an iced tea every day of the summer for just one dollar? That’s right! David’s Tea’s $1 iced teas of the day refills are back, which means that if you bring one of their iced tea travel mugs, then you can get the iced tea of the day for just one dollar.

The iced tea travel mug is $14.50 and is surprisingly good quality. I have it and I have to admit that I was somewhat iffy about its effectiveness but it definitely keeps my iced drinks cool. What I like the most about it is that it has yet to leak in my purse, even though I have found it turned upside down countless of times.

It comes in a 160z (473ml) and features a silicone grip to ensure that you won’t drop it if too much condensation builds up on the outside. Even better is that you can also use it for hot drinks. I haven’t yet tried it out on anything hot, but judging by how good it is with cold drinks, I imagine it would be just as great at holding a hot drinks hot.

Although the description claims that this mug can handle anything thrown its way, I wouldn’t advise throwing it into the dishwasher. I have had one too many tumblers break because of the high heat from the wash cycle.

You can also get a kids’ iced tea mug for just $9.50.

Every week, David’s Tea releases a list of their tea of the day for the week on their Facebook page, so be sure to check it out to plan your week! Davids Tea Canada: $1 Iced Tea Of The Day Refill With One Time Purchase Of Iced Tea Mug

Shipping is free on orders over $50, so it would be a good idea to grab a couple of teas while you’re getting your mug. My favourite is the hot tropic tea, which just so happens to be their tea of the month right now. It’s the perfect tea to brew over ice as its main ingredients are mango and coconut, which provide for a refreshing blend. Although you can get 50g for $7.50. if you get 100g for $15, then you will also get a free tin.Plus, each order also qualifies for 3 free samples of tea.

Starbucks Canada: Bring in Your Own Reusable Mug, Get a Free Tea or Coffee for Earth Day

Starbucks Canada: Bring in Your Own Reusable Mug, Get a Free Tea or Coffee for Earth Day

Happy Earth Day from Starbucks Canada! Visit a participating location today and get a free tea or coffee when you use your own reusable mug.

It’s Earth Day today. I’ll probably be commemorating the day doing Earthy crafts with my young son, or maybe digging out our garden plot if it doesn’t rain (c’mon Earth, don’t rain, I want to plant my garden on your special day!). But these activities require energy, and I could use a little more of it. Luckily for me, there’s a Starbucks at the end of my street and they’re offering free coffee for Earth Day.

To get your free coffee (or tea) all you have to do is bring your own reusable mug or tumbler into a Starbucks location. This freebie is only valid on Starbucks’ brewed coffees and teas, so you won’t be able to get anything fancy with caramel sauce or whipped cream or whatever else you like to throw into your beverage, just good old-fashioned basic coffee or tea. Which works out well for me, as that’s all I ever get from Starbucks.

The promotion mentions that this free offer is only available at “participating locations,” so hopefully it’s valid at mine. They’ve posted it to the Starbucks Facebook and Twitter accounts so it should be pretty widespread, but you can always call ahead to check if you don’t want to be disappointed. You can find contact information for Starbucks Canada locations with the store locator on their website.

You can take advantage of this offer all day today for Earth Day (April 22).
