Subway Canada: Buy a $25 Cash Card & Get a Free Sub

Subway Canada: Buy a $25 Cash Card & Get a Free Sub

Subway Canada is celebrating back to school with a cool offer giving you a free sub. Buy a $25 cash card and you’ll be awarded with a free 6″ sub.

This deal is good in all sorts of ways. First, if you are a student who might be on a budget and getting all your money upfront (like your OSAP or a lump sum from a parent), you might want to get this so you know you’ll still be able to eat in November. I remember friends in university who had meal plans with a set number of funds eating very little towards the end of the term. In fact, I didn’t have a meal plan as I didn’t live in residence, but I relied on my two OSAP payments to get me through the year and help me with rent and food. I had quite a few dinners of popcorn and oranges around exam time. I even once ate tuna right out of the can before a lecture as my dinner. I really don’t get the freshman 15 as I lost 15 pounds with having little to eat! Subway Canada: Buy a $25 Cash Card & Get a Free Sub

So, if you think this might happen to you, you might want to get yourself a free sub for lunch today while buying your emergency dinner plans. Technically, if you love subs, you could go in each day this week (or until the deal ends) and pick yourself up a card a day and get your lunch or dinner free each day. There is no limit to how many free subs you’ll get. The only downfall is that you can’t get yourself a lobster sub for free. Put those caviar tastes away, you’re a student!

As a parent, I think this deal is also a good one to get for your high school or post-secondary student. You could go in, get yourself some lunch and get them a cash card for their lunches. When my mom gave me lunch money in high school, it usually went to chips, candy or something else that probably wasn’t acceptable as lunch (like beer for Friday night), so if you don’t want your kid spending their lunch money on something other than lunch, a cash card hopefully stops them from doing that. Plus you know that they’ll be eating something a lot healthier than pizza or a hamburger.

Subway Canada: $22 Supper Deal

Subway Canada: $22 Supper Deal

For only $22, you can feed your entire family tonight and you won’t have to cook! Get any two footlongs, two six-inch subs, two soups or a dozen cookies any day after 4pm for only $22!

I really love good dinner deals! My family is very busy after school with extracurricular activities and such and we often don’t have time to eat before we go and once we get home everyone is exhausted and the last thing I want to do is cook dinner. Subway is such a good choice for a healthy dinner as you get the protein, the vegetables and of course that yummy bread too. My family will not eat soup, so the dozen cookies would be our treat. What I also love is that I have two very picky eaters in my family, but they would definitely eat a sub if it was just meat and cheese and just cheese for my younger one.

Each location might have different pricing, but I think that each footlong sub is probably in the $7-8 range and the six-inch is about $5. Add just the subs up and you get $25 worth of food right there, plus the bonus soup or cookies. And this is just a rough guesstimate.

My favourite go-to sub is the Subway Club with lots of extra pickles, plus tomatoes, lettuce, black olives, peppers and italian dressing. I like the cookies with the m&ms in them. Mmm…. I think I know what we are having for dinner tonight. Bargainmoosers, what is your favourite sub?

Subway Canada Free Sub with Gift Card

Posted by on December 3, 2013 at 4:00 PM

Subway Canada Free Sub with Gift Card

There is an awesome deal happening at Subways across Canada for a limited time only. When you load a Subway gift card with $25 or more, you will get a free 6 inch sub of your choice.

You will be able to choose any 6 inch sub of any kind on any bread.  If you would like extra meat or cheese, those will be extra just like any other day.  Other than that, your sub will be free!

This event was very popular last year and I suspect it will be again this season. There is a limit of one free sub per purchase per card.  I did this last year and got a few free subs.

What I did was I went in four separate days and got four gift cards for $25 each on the separate days.  Every time I did it, I got a free 6 inch sub.  Basically I got four free lunches which was awesome!  I used the gift cards as gifts for my kids teachers for Christmas and they loved them! I plan on doing the same thing this year.

Canadian Freebie: Subway Cookie on Valentine’s Day

Posted by on February 12, 2013 at 7:00 AM

Canadian Freebie: Subway Cookie on Valentines Day

Subway Canada is giving away free cookies for Valentine’s Day with no purchase needed! Simply go to their Facebook page and claim the offer, which will be sent to your email. Print the email or show it on your smartphone at your local Subway Canada restaurant on Valentine’s Day and get a free cookie.

Why not brighten your day or someone else’s with a free cookie from Subway? It is so easy and all you need is a Facebook account. I especially love the no purchase necessary part.

If you’ve never had Subway’s cookies, they are dreamy. Soft, flavourful and basically melt in your mouth, I can never resist their pull when I order my healthy sub. I’m not sure which is my favourite from the chocolate chip, white chocolate macadamian or the oatmeal raisin. These cookies are fresh-baked, just like Subway’s bread, so you know they are really good.

I don’t know the expiry of the deal, but I would claim it as soon as you can just in case. Getting your free cookie is only available on February 14th, 2013.

Subway: Free 6″ Sub When You Buy $25 in Subway Gift Cards

Posted by on August 15, 2012 at 12:30 PM

Subway: Free 6 Sub When You Buy $25 in Subway Gift Cards

I love to get and give Subway gift cards as gifts because it is just about the only fast food restaurant that I can have a really healthy meal at.  Right now for a limited time only, you will get a free 6″ sub with the purchase of $25 in Subway gifts cards.

This is a great deal if you like to eat at Subway or would like to pick up some gift cards as gifts. To get this deal you must either buy a $25 Subway card or pre-load your existing one.  There’s a limit of one free sub per gift card purchase or reload.  You will get the free sandwich in store at the time on gift card purchase or reload so when you go make sure you are hungry.

This offer is valid at most Subway locations across Canada.  My advice is, if you want to get a few gifts cards, make sure you do it on different visits so that you will get the free sub every time.

Subway Canada Free Breakfasts!

Posted by on August 17, 2010 at 1:00 PM

Subway Canada Free Breakfasts!

Bargainmooser Mary Jo has emailed us with a deal about Subway Canada. She saw it advertised on TV, and noticed that it is also mentioned in a tweet.

On the 19th of August 2010, from 7am to 10am, Subway Canada are giving out free breakfasts!

The twitter feed says that this is Canada  wide, not just for Ontarions.

I’ve no idea what their “free breakfast” includes. It’s likely that it will be totally free, and not a “freebie with purchase” type of offer – so I’m sure you can expect huge queues.

Let me know what you get!

UPDATE – Bargainmooser Christianne tells me that it is an egg breakfast sandwich!

Shoppers Drug Mart: Free $10 Subway Cards!

Shoppers Drug Mart: Free $10 Subway Cards!

Every weekend, Shoppers Canada seems to have some sort of deal on the go. This weekend, it’s one that I am particularly taken with – free Subway gift cards! If you spend $50 or more in-store @ Shoppers Drugstore between the 14th and 15th of March 2009, you get a free $10 Subway cash card, which is valid until the 5th of April 2009.

As usual, your Shopper’s purchase must exclude prescriptions, tobacco, stamps etc. But it would still be easy to spend $50 on your regular items, shampoos, face creams, Trojans (!) etc.

Then you can head to Subway and stuff yourself silly with gorgeous sammiches, like the hungry cat in my picture. Steak and Cheese for me! MMMMMmmmm pickles.

Rexall Canada & Free $10 Subway Gift Cards…

Posted by on February 19, 2009 at 6:43 PM

Between the 21st and 22nd of February 2009, you can get yourself a free $10 gift card from Rexall, to spend at the Subway location of your choice!

What’s the catch!?

Unfortunately you have to spend the whopping sum of fifty five bucks in the Rexall drugstore to qualify for the offer. That’s not so bad though… just buy 19 bottles of $3 shampoo.

Clicketh here to peruse some more exciting details about this Rexall/Subway offer. Rexall Canada & Free $10 Subway Gift Cards…

OM NOM NOM NOM as they say on the internets. Translation: My, how yummy this is. It’s easy peasy to spend $10 at Subway. Give me a lovely steak and cheese sub (obligatory pickles) or a nice mouth-watering meatball melt… yum! And I do so love their soggy cookies!

When I first had a subway, I only had a 6 incher. But I was determined to make it all the way up to a footlong, but my poor little belly just couldn’t take the strain. Over a gruelling period of months, with fierce training and absolute determination, I trained that belly to be able to cope with more and more, until eventually I was able to eat a whole footlong sub in one sitting. I trained daily, sometimes on the steak and cheese, sometimes on the chicken onion teriyaki… but I finally managed to reach my goal. Now it’s time to set my strategic goals… eating 2 footlongs in one sitting. I can do it!
