Chapters Indigo Canada: Roku 3 2015 Just $87.96 With Visa Checkout (Reg. $109.95) (EXPIRED)

Looking for a new and better way to watch TV? Then grab yourself the Roku 3 as right now, you can get it for just $87.96 when you use Visa Checkout at Chapters Indigo. It’s usually priced at $109.95, so it’s a 20% discount. Shipping will also be free after Chapters Indigo ships orders over $25 for free.

It’s not the first time that we blog about the Roku but if it’s the first time that you hear about it, then all you need to know is that it’s basically a device that will allow you to stream TV shows and movies.

With it, you can completely get rid of your cable TV and subscribe instead to numerous channels that the Roku offers. In fact, there are more than 1400 to choose from but just keep in mind that some of these are paid subscriptions. For all of you hockey fans, you will be happy to know that there is even an NHL Gamecenter channel with live games, replays, and much more to keep you entertained throughout the year.

There are no reviews for the Roku 3 on Chapters Indigo, but PC Mag gave it a 4/5 stars rating with the following pros, cons and bottom line:

Chapters Indigo Canada: Roku 3 2015 Just $87.96 With Visa Checkout (Reg. $109.95) (EXPIRED)

As you can see from the pros, the Roku 3 includes a remote with a headphone jack for private listening and this is an exclusive feature to this generation of the Roku. The previous versions don’t include this and also don’t include the following features, which the Roku 3 now has: voice search, a remote that you can use to point anywhere and motion control for games. The other features are nearly identical to the Roku 2 but it’s the Roku 1 that appears to be the most outdated, so if I were you, I would definitely invest in the most recent one! Chapters Indigo Canada: Roku 3 2015 Just $87.96 With Visa Checkout (Reg. $109.95) (EXPIRED) Check out Roku.com, for a quick reference as to all of the features between the available versions of the Roku.

What’s cool about the Roku though is that you can watch nearly all of the latest movies and TV shows really easily. There are of course plenty more, but to give you an idea, you could watch movies like Step Brothers, Hitch, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, X-Men Days of Future Part, Taken 2 or even Hangover II! Amongst others, you can watch TV shows like Family Guy, Hell on Wheels, The Shield, How I Met Your Mother etc.

The cheapest I  have found the Roku 3 anywhere else is actually at Staples, where it’s currently on sale for $99.97 and it’s sold out! So Chapters Indigo’s deal is definitely the best but just make sure to pay using Visa Checkout to benefit from the 20% discount.

DramaFever: Free 7-Day Trial Of Premium Membership

Posted by on March 10, 2014 at 10:00 PM

DramaFever: Free 7 Day Trial Of Premium Membership

During 7 whole days, you can try DramaFever’s premium membership absolutely free! Unlike a regular membership, which has ads and content is interrupted with commercials, a premium membership offers HD viewing with no pesky ads and exclusive access to the newest shows.

For those of you wondering about what exactly DramaFever is, it’s basically a video streaming service similar to Netflix but with a focus on international movies, TV shows and documentaries, all of which are available with professionally transcribed subtitles. The vast majority of their content is Korean and Spanish, but they do also offer other language origins such as French, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese and a couple of others.

They even have popular English titles available for watching such as Waiting for Godot, Taste of Asia, The Kokology Game, etc.

A neat feature is that on top of offering the chance to sort DramaFever’s content by genre (i.e. action/ thriller, children’s, daily drama, historical, etc.), titles may also be searched by themes like: book/ manga, bromance, first love, Kpop, rags to riches and a couple of others.

Even better is that DramaFever is available for use on just about any device, whether one with iOS (iPhone or iPad), Android and even a Kindle Fire, Google TV or Roku.

Since billing information is required to start the free 7-day premium membership, make sure to cancel if you don’t want to be billed for the first month once the free trial expires. But even then, the monthly fee just $4.99 per month!

Have you ever tried DramaFever? Let us know your thoughts on this streaming service in the comments section.

SiriusXM Internet Radio: 12 Months For $48

SiriusXM Internet Radio: 12 Months For $48

Get a full year of SiriusXM Internet radio for only $48!

First thing to know is that this is Internet radio not satellite radio. So this won’t work with your car’s satellite radio system but rather with your computer, smartphone or tablet. It’s basically the same service except it’s delivered over the internet as opposed to a satellite.

Normally the service is $95.88 but you save $47.88. It’s yours for $48! Pretty sweet deal.

Now, last time I wrote up a deal for SiriusXM, someone mentioned that they are pretty slimy with trying to keep you using their service. Well, I signed up for a free trial just to try it out. I knew I wasn’t going to use it because I don’t really like music all that much and I am always listening to podcasts and audiobooks in the car. So even though the service is great, I cancelled before my free trial was up. Then I got billed by SiriusXM. I was looking towards a fight to get my money back but when I called them up the lady who helped me refunded my money immediately and I saw the transaction come through my bank three days later! Other than the initial issues it was a great experience.
