Starbucks: Half Price Tea Lattes (11-20 Feb)

Posted by Jodie Wilson on February 8, 2011 at 11:00 AM

Starbucks: Half Price Tea Lattes (11 20 Feb)

Half price Tea Lattes are coming back to Starbucks this month. From 11-20 of February 2011 between 2-5 pm, you can pick up any size and flavour of tea lattes for 50% off!

Last time Starbucks had this offer, I tried the Tazo Vanilla Rooibos Tea Latte, and I didn’t like it. The nice thing about Starbucks is that they let me exchange it for a Tazo Chai Tea Latte at no extra charge. I think I’ll just stick with the Chai Tea Latte this time around, it’s my absolute favourite. I might just have to visit more than once to get both the hot version and the iced one.

    Tazo Tea Time At Starbucks

Posted by Jodie Wilson on January 4, 2011 at 4:00 PM

    Tazo Tea Time At Starbucks

Starbucks wants you to enjoy 50% off Tea Lattés from the 7th to the 16th of January 2011 from 2-5pm only.

I am a committed Tazo Chai Latte drinker. Without a doubt, this is my favourite beverage from Starbucks.  I haven’t tried the Tazo Vanilla Rooibos Tea Latte yet. It’s described as, “An infusion of rooibos, steamed milk, syrup, vanilla and cinnamon, topped with velvety foam.” Who can resist that? Sounds like heaven to me!

Starbucks didn’t get it’s nickname “Fourbucks” for no reason, so if you’ve been holding off trying a new tea latte, this could be the time to try a new one! I think I might be stopping by for tea time everyday during this promotion. Nothing better than tea time in the afternoon!

BOGO Free Coupon: Starbucks Doubleshot Energy & Coffee Drink

Posted by Anna Waters on September 8, 2010 at 9:00 AM

BOGO Free Coupon: Starbucks Doubleshot Energy & Coffee Drink

Here we have a buy 1 get 1 free coupon, which you can use to get a free Starbucks Doubleshot drink when you buy one there.

There are 4 flavours to choose from – Mocha, Vanilla, Coffee, and Vanilla Light.

You do have to install a Smartsource printer application on your computer to get this one printed out (which is a bit annoying, but I can live with it for a good deal). If you are going to do that, make sure your printer is set up and set as the default printer on your computer before you start. I have my default output as printing to pdf, and the Smartsource coupon program didn’t like that.

Thanks to Peter from e-offerz for emailing this deal. Even though the coupon website seems US based, Peter successfully used this coupon in Vancouver yesterday, so we should be good to go.

    Free Starbucks Coffee

Posted by Anna Waters on July 2, 2010 at 7:00 AM

    Free Starbucks Coffee

Bargainmooser Jeanine emailed me last night with word on a new deal from Starbucks. If you register with them online, they will send you a coupon for a free tall cup of Pike Place roast coffee!

    Terms:

Please Note: Limit one (1) coupon per email. Community pledge and free coffee coupon offer expires September 30, 2010. At participating stores, © 2010 Starbucks Coffee Company. All rights reserved.

I don’t usually drink the regular coffee from Starbucks, as I am not a big coffee drinker at all. I am in love with the frapuccinos though… I could drink those all day, until my brain freezes up!

If you manage to score this free coffee, it would be great to hear from you in the comments below.

    Thanks Jeanine!

    Starbucks Half Price Frappucinos

Posted by Yanyi on May 5, 2010 at 9:00 AM

    Starbucks Half Price Frappucinos

From the 7th of May until 16th May 2010, enjoy a frappucino at participating Starbucks for half price.

Between the hours of 3-5pm from May 7 to May 16, 2010, Starbucks custom made Frappucinos are half price. While it may seem picky to have a super long order with non-fats, no-sugar, extra syrup, or no whip cream, the whole idea of custom made Starbucks drinks is so you get exactly what you want. Create your own drinks before hand so your frappucino is exactly the way you like it.

Starbucks Canada: Free Pastry Day (With Coffee)

For one morning only, Starbucks Canada is offering you a free pastry of your choice, when you purchase a hand-crafted, brewed, or iced-beverage!

This event will be happening on the morning of Tuesday, the 23rd March 2010. Print out your coupon and take it with you on that day. It will only be valid between 4am or opening time, to 10.30am in the morning, so you will have to get there fairly early – perhaps on your way to work?

From the list of coffees available, that sounds like you can get the free pastry with any purchase there.

    Thanks for the email Camille!

Starbucks Free CD Offer: Spend $15

Posted by Anna Waters on November 19, 2009 at 9:00 AM

While probably not the hottest gift with purchase in the world, I think this deal is still worth a mention for the Starbucks fans. If you spend $15 in-store, they will give you a free “All you need is love” CD.

The CD contains exclusive tracks from artists like Playing for Change, U2, Dave Matthews and John Legend. It’s also to raise money for Aids in Africa, a good cause. $1 from each sale will go to that charity.

I checked into the T&Cs, hoping that a $15 top up of my Starbucks card would be eligible for the promo, but sadly not. Even so, it’s still easy to spend $15 there – if you and a friend are there for coffee and a bun, $15 is gone before you know it.

    Mocha frappucinos for the win!

Canadian Freebie: Register Your Starbucks Card, Get A Free Beverage

Posted by admin on September 21, 2009 at 9:00 PM

Chai, espresso, cappucino, coffee, tea – oh my! I like to go through my day with a near-toxic blood caffeine level, so it’s pretty safe to say that I”m a hardcore Starbucks junkie! Just seeing the color green now makes my heart beat faster! And being the parent of teenagers, I never have loose change or cash in my wallet (why does everyone need my last $5 just as I’m about to head out the door in the a.m.?!) … so I always have a Starbucks card in my purse.

Canadian Freebie: Register Your Starbucks Card, Get A Free BeverageStarbucks is now offering an extra incentive to register your card with them – they’re giving you a free beverage on your birthday!

Why bother to register your card?

Well, registering your card will help you to get the most out of it – special rewards and benefits like a complimentary beverage on your birthday. You’ll get up to 2 hours of free Wi-Fi (the card provides the username and password needed to conect with Bell Wi-Fi). It It lets you check your balance.

You can even set up your card under the “Manage Card” feature to automatically reload when the balance falls below a certain amount -   a definite perk if your kids use your card too, it helps avoid that “what do you mean there’s not enough left on it” moment at the till! Best of all, it protects your balance if your card is lost or stolen! If you report the card lost/stolen, they can transfer the balance as of that day to a new card that they’ll mail out to you immediately!

One other perk of registering your card, it also makes you eligible for Starbucks Card Rewards which offer some sweet savings to further enhance your visit to Starbucks: free syrup and milk options for your beverage, free brewed coffee refills -hot or iced, a free tall (12 oz) beverage with your 1lb whole bean purchase, and up to 2 hrs free Wi-Fi per day.Canadian Freebie: Register Your Starbucks Card, Get A Free Beverage

I registered my  card, and it only took me 4 minutes (and I’m a techno-doofus!). You’ll need to enter the card number and the 8-digit Card Security Code, both which can both be found on the back of the card. You’ll need to create an account with Starbucks, entering the usual name/password/date of birth/mailing address.

When you’re entering your address, the Canadian provinces are listed below the USA states. The form does accept Canadian postal codes.

    Happy Birthday to us!

    Thanks to pink!

Canadian Freebies: Free iTunes Song Download

Posted by admin on August 9, 2009 at 2:00 PM

Canadian Freebies: Free iTunes Song Download

iTunes has partnered with Starbucks to bring us a “Single of the Week” every Tuesday. Just drop into Starbucks, and pick up your free itunes download card (They are located where you usually pick up your beverage).

    • Download Code: See back of card (each code is unique, can be used once)
    • Discount: 1 Free Song, chosen by iTunes
    • Conditions: Have an iTunes Account
    • Expiry: Two Months from date of issue

You do not need to purchase anything from Starbucks in order to get your free song.

New cards are put out every Tuesday morning, and are left on the counter until they are all gone. There have been occasions where I went to Starbucks on a Thursday and they were still there, but other times when I went on a Tuesday night and they were all gone, so be quick!!!

This may not be a fantastic deal for those who download ALL of their songs for free, but for the few of us who purchase all of our music, it’s a nice treat!

I know we are on Bargainmoose, and we’re all about saving money, but is there anyone out there that still buys their music??? Leave a comment below!

Starbucks Canada: Free Coffees On Earth Day!

Posted by Anna Waters on April 14, 2009 at 11:46 AM

Digg if you like! Do you like Starbucks? Would you like a free coffee? Yes to both questions? Here’s how:

On Earth Day (that’s 22nd April 2009), bring in your travel mug, and Starbucks will fill it up with a free Pike Place Roast coffee!Starbucks Canada: Free Coffees On Earth Day!

This seems like a nice deal! Starbucks do it every year I believe, so good to see they’re keeping on track this year.

A friend of mine used to be the most anti-Starbucks person I had ever known. But he slowly seems to be coming round. Lately, Starbucks have been changing their policies, buying fair-trade, really getting into the socially responsible side of running a multi-national corporation. And my friend is slowly being corrupted by them! He was majorly against Starbucks and everything they stood for, but he is now grudgingly beginning to respect their practices! I’m sure there are a lot of others in the same boat too.

I’ve never had a problem with Starbucks. I’m not much of a coffee drinker to start with, but their frappucinos are to die for! Bury me in frappucinos and I’ll die happy (if a little cold).

    Thanks lickyoats!
