Sears Outlet Canada: 50% Off SportsPower 2-Pc Board Table Tennis – Now $250

Posted by on September 6, 2013 at 7:30 PM

Sears Outlet Canada: 50% Off SportsPower 2 Pc Board Table Tennis Now $250

Sears Outlet Canada has a sale on many basement game tables right now. One of their better deals is 50% off the SportsPower Two Piece Board Table Tennis which was originally $499.99. It is now on sale for $249.94.

This board has several important features to mention. First, it comes with its own base, thus it is a stand-alone unit instead of one you put on your kitchen table. It can remain set up at all times and does not need to be taken down when you need the table for something else. Another important feature is the two piece board. This creates the ‘playback’ feature. What is playback? It is when you bend one of the sides up so that one person can play against the board and the ball will bounce back. It is great for practicing your table tennis when you do not have a partner. You can see the playback function in the image above.

Shipping depends on where you live. To keep shipping costs down, I suggest having it shipped to your local Sears store or Sears outlet.

Knetgolf Canada: Golf Ball Summer Sale

Posted by on August 10, 2013 at 7:00 PM

Knetgolf Canada: Golf Ball Summer Sale

Enjoy summer sale discounts on all Titleist, Bridgestone, and Taylormade golf balls at Knetgolf Canada.

If you are unfamiliar with Knetgolf, which means you are fairly new to the Bargainmoose, they sell used and refurbished golf balls at discounted prices. We like them because their prices are a massive discount from what you would have to pay retail for golf balls and we are well aware that golfing enthusiasts (of which there are a lot in Canada) need plenty of golf balls to hit with irons and swear at. We figure the cheaper the better while still maintaining quality.

There was a Titleist sale earlier this year which we blogged about, but the other two brands haven’t been on this good of a sale lately that I have noticed.  You can pick up some Callaway HEX Black Tour Used Golf Balls in Mint Recycled – 1 Dozen for $23.99 (regular $44.99). Or if you are looking for a volume buy, try out these Taylor Made TP Red LDP Used Golf Balls in Grade A Refinished – 5 Dozen for only $42.99 (original price $199.99!).

There are plenty of choices and they all depend on your golf ball preference.

Enjoy free shipping on orders of $129 or more. If your order is under $129, shipping is $9.99. If your postal code has an “0” as its second digit (i.e L0E1R2) then they will charge a $10 extended area surcharge. No Canadian orders are charged duties, customs or tariff fees.

Amazon Canada: 35% Off 7′ Ponderay Frameless Pontoon Boat – Now $289

Posted by on August 4, 2013 at 8:00 PM

Amazon Canada: 35% Off 7 Ponderay Frameless Pontoon Boat Now $289

Want to do some fishing this summer? Or, maybe just enjoy the water while not actually being in the water. Pick up this Classic Accessories Ponderay Frameless Pontoon Boat in navy/grey for just $288.66, originally $444.76.

The boat handles up to 350 lbs, which means I could stick both me and my hubby on it… woohoo! I’m not sure it is made for more than one person, though. It features:

  • Seven foot pontoons for stability
  • Hydrodynamic hull shape for easy tracking and steering
  • Boat and three-piece oars disassemble into a compact size
  • Two large zippered cargo pockets on the pontoons, and rear fabric storage platform with a large zippered pocket above
  • Big pocket on seat back with mesh bottom for drainage and quick-release stripping apron with fish ruler
  • Class i river rating

This looks like a whole lot of fun. I have a strong love of water and being on the water. This little boat is perfect for paddling around on a lake or down a gentle river.  I like how open the boat is, and I also think that all the storage compartments would come in very handy.

Enjoy free shipping on orders of $25 or more!

Sport Chek Canada: Minimum 30% Off Baseball Clearance

Posted by on July 30, 2013 at 3:30 PM

Sport Chek Canada: Minimum 30% Off Baseball Clearance

Sport Chek is having a baseball clearance with 30% off bats and gloves. Even if the season is nearing its end, stock up with what you need for next year.

While most of the kids in my neighbourhood play soccer, my family is more into baseball and golf. My kids see all the running and kicking and fighting over a ball, and say “no thank you”. Baseball seems more relaxed most of the time (at least at their age group), and they do much better when it doesn’t seem like everyone is depending on you. Anyway, I know my sons will all play baseball again next year, and that we are going to need more equipment. My husband is also into baseball and has helped coach, so he could use some equipment for himself.

The prices are already shown as discounted, so I don’t know the original price, but they say it is a minimum 30% off discount.

Check out this Easton Typhoon Youth Baseball Bat, now $41.99.

These Under Armour Clean Up IV Batting Gloves are great for gripping the bat perfectly and giving support. Now $24.49.

This Louisville Valkyrie 12″ Ball Glove has a secure fit and bruise guard padding. Now $69.99.

Get free shipping on orders over $99.

Amazon Canada: iPong I0 Topspin $49.99 (Save 62%)

Posted by on July 23, 2013 at 9:00 AM

Amazon Canada: iPong I0 Topspin $49.99 (Save 62%)

There is a really cool deal happening right now over at Amazon Canada for the sports enthusiast.  For a limited time only, you can get an iPong 10 Topspin for just $49.99.

The regular price of this machine was $129.95, and it is now just $49.99.  That is 62% off the regular price, which is a great deal.  It is a newer product, so it is a little hard to price compare.  I did find it on eBay selling for $77.27 plus shipping, and at the iPong store for the same price plus shipping.  All in all, the deal at Amazon Canada was the best and lowest price I could find.

I love playing ping pong, but it is a two person sport.  This machine allows you to either practice your sport or be able to play a little by yourself.  It is a cool robot that shoots out customizable topspin balls so that you can master your table tennis skills. You can easily adjust the power and spin in which the balls shoot out with the attached wired remote control, and it comes with 100 balls to practice.

As an added bonus, you will get free shipping for this order!

Knetgolf Canada: Up To 85% Off Sale On Titleist Golf Balls

Enjoying golf season? Already lost a few dozen balls? Enjoy this sale on Titleist Golf Balls at Knetgolf Canada. Get up to 85% off retail prices on used Titleist balls.

Depending on the quality you are looking for, you can find some pretty mean discounts. I have tried to represent a variety of some of the higher discounts to give you an idea on prices:

  • THP2DA Grade A Recycled – 1 Dozen Retail $29.99 | Sale $5.99
  • TNXTTB-10 Grade B Recycled – 10 Dozen Retail $299.99 | Sale $74.99
  • TIT48BAG Practice Refinished – 48 Ball Bag Retail $199.99 | Sale $29.99
  • TITPV9AR-10 Grade A Refinished – 10 Dozen Retail $549.99 | Sale $159.99
  • TITPV11B Grade B Recycled – 1 Dozen Retail $54.99 | Sale $15.99

Whether you prefer recycled or refinished, getting used golf balls is a great way to cut down on your golf expenses.

Cabela’s Canada: Deals, Free To Store Shipping & No QST

Posted by on July 17, 2013 at 3:00 PM

Cabelas Canada: Deals, Free To Store Shipping & No QST

There have been a lot of changes at Cabela’s Canada lately, so I figured I would wrap them all up and stick them in a blog post. First off, they have this wonderful thing called the Bargain Cave. It features deals on hunting, fishing, camping, boating, and other outdoorsy supplies.

Camping is very popular during the summer, but can be a nightmare if you don’t have the right gear. Get a good tent like this Eureka Taron Tent that was $199.99 and is now $169.99. Though others may speak against such things, I think moderate comfort is key to a successful camping trip. Pick up a Intex Queen Classic Downy Bed that was $49.99 and is now $24.99. No use inhaling all that clean fresh country air if you can’t sleep for a week. Pass on the age old tradition of sitting on tree stumps and get yourself a comfy Browning Grizzly Chair for around the campfire. Originally $69.99, it is on sale for $39.99. There are so many things on sale and they change regularly, so they are worth a frequent visit.

Now, on to the other news. Cabela’s now offers free shipping to your local store. This not only works for your usual hunting, camping, fishing, and accessories but now includes non-restricted firearms (rifles). Any restricted firearms (handguns) are not included.

There is also a special little deal for all residents of Quebec (which, may I say, is pretty rare since Quebec usually gets the short end of the stick because many deals exclude Quebec).  There is no QST on orders shipped to Quebec. How fantastic is that?

Shipping to your home depends upon how much you are ordering and you can see the shipping rates here.

Mountain Equipment Co-op: Clearance Bicycles – Urban to Mountain – Save Up To $550

Posted by on July 17, 2013 at 11:00 AM

Mountain Equipment Co op: Clearance Bicycles Urban to Mountain Save Up To $550

Time for a bike upgrade? Check out some of the great options on clearance at MEC!

There are five bicycles on clearance.

I used to bike all the time and I miss it dearly. I was riding a $750 bike before I quit, and I had a choice of a $2000 bike or a $2000 laptop. I went with the laptop, but sometimes I regret that. Biking was just so liberating. You could go anywhere with a bike. You can do trails, urban drops, street riding, trails – whatever you want. It’s just fun. And that’s not even mentioning the health stuff. I suspect that if I had gotten the bike instead of the laptop, I’d be in far better shape than I am now.

If I was still in to biking, I’d be making regular trips to the nearest Mountain Equipment Co-op (in Halifax, six hours away, in case anyone at MEC is reading and looking at putting up a new location) for gear. Of course, MEC.ca would be a constant spot for me to look. I bought a bunch of climbing gear from them once and the staff was incredibly helpful and knew their stuff, so if you aren’t sure of any of these bikes (although if you’re spending $3000 on a bike, you likely know what you’re doing), I’m sure you could call or email them and they’d be able to help you.

I think the MEC Skyway looks pretty cool. It’s an urban bicycle, so people who are sick of driving in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver or whatever other traffic-congested city you might be in would find this bike quite useful. If you’re hitting the trails and the muck, well, maybe not. The Skyway is meant specifically for driving through the streets, so it’s perfect for city-dwellers looking to get to work or the store without their car.

Shipping is free, but they do not ship to rural or remote locations or to P.O. boxes. So, if you go stand by the side of the street in front of your house and all you can see around you is wheat or snow or trees, you might want to call them and make sure you can have gear shipped to you.

Do you bike? Let me know in the comments below!

Amazon Canada: Park & Sun Volleyball Net Was $255 | Now $130

Posted by on July 12, 2013 at 4:00 PM

Amazon Canada: Park & Sun Volleyball Net Was $255 | Now $130

Amazon Canada is selling a durable and high quality Park and Sun BC-400 Volleyball Net for 49% off its original retail price. Originally $249.99, the net is on sale for $129.99 with free shipping!

The net is currently showing as out of stock, but you can still order and it will ship when it comes back into stock.

Features:

  • Regulation three-feet by 32-feet volleyball net
  • Four-inch top tape
  • Three-inch side and bottom tape
  • Steel cable top and bottom
  • 0.875-inch wooden dowels

So far all reviewers agree that the net is very durable and they look forward to years of use out of it:

This is a high quality volleyball net. The tape around the net is very durable, as is the net itself. The steel cables and dowels keep the net from sagging.

They do suggest you either own a ratchet or buy one to get the net tight enough. I really enjoy playing volleyball, though I have no sense of direction when I spike the ball. It is a great summer sport and an excellent way to get outside and have some fun.

Get free shipping on all orders over $25 – meaning this ships for free!

Sport Chek Canada: $100 Rebate With Bicycle Purchase

Posted by on June 26, 2013 at 4:00 PM

Sport Chek Canada: $100 Rebate With Bicycle Purchase

A very popular rebate is back at Sportchek Canada just in time for summer cycling.  Get a $100 instant rebate towards any cycling apparel, footwear or accessories with the purchase of any GT or Jamis Bicycle.

There is some fine print for this deal:

One $100 rebate per qualifying item. $100 rebate cannot be applied towards qualifying item. No cash value. $100 instant rebate will be applied after applicable taxes.

I think this deal is so popular because a lot of people want to get new footwear, apparel or accessories when they buy a new bicycle so this will save them on those purchases.

The qualifying bicycles do vary in price depending on what you are looking for.  A huge bonus is that there are some great bikes on sale that also qualify so you will save on the bike and get the rebate if you get one of those. These sale bicycles will only be on sale until July 8th and since this rebate deal has an unknown expiry, it would be best to shop sooner rather than later.

As for the cost of shipping, Sportchek offers free regular shipping for most orders of $99 or more (up to a $15 value).

BoatSmartExam.com Coupon: $15 Off Online Boating Exam

Want to go have some fun on the water this summer? Take your Pleasure Craft Operator exam online and save $15 with the following coupon code. The exam usually costs $49.95, so you will pay only $34.95.

Click here to get boating @ Boatsmartexam.com now

  • Coupon Code: TIBS 439
  • Discount: $15 off
  • Expiry: Unknown

I have never lived near a pond of water big enough nor near enough to justify investing in a boat nor a licence. But all that has suddenly changed since I moved to Vancouver Island. It is an island, I am surrounded by water. Suddenly I am motivated to learn to drive a boat. To do so, I would need to take my Pleasure Craft Operator exam (and pass) to get my card.

For $49.95 (minus the $15 you save with promo code) you get the study guide, exam and permanent operator card. Yes, permanent – once you have one of these you can’t get it taken away. Well, I am sure if the coastguard was properly motivated…! The course study guide takes at least three hours with quizzes. However, if you choose to boat without an operator card you are risking not only your life, bot other people’s lives, and a large fine because you don’t know how to properly handle the boat you are operating. Safety first!

For this and any future Boatsmartexam coupon codes check out our forum.
