As usual, they separate the discounts based on whether something is marked down or not. Here is the offer:

• 10% discount on already marked down items
• 25% discount on regular priced items

Even so, if there was something in particular that you were thinking of buying at Sportmart Canada, now would be the perfect time to buy.

I also heard a rumour that Sportmart will soon be selling to Canadians online, so I’ll keep you updated if I hear any more about that.

The VIP Cash event from SportMart is back! I’ve seen this a few times in the past and found the discounts to be quite good. You have to print the coupons and take them in-store to SportMart with you.

All the coupons are valid until the 3^rd of May 2009. It says on the free coupons that coupons can be combined when purchase minimums are also combined. This means that you can use more than 1 coupon on your total. For example, if you are spending $120, you could use both the $10 and the $5 discount coupons as the total minimum spend has been met.

SportMart sometimes have excellent deals on clothing and sporting equipment, so I hope you get a good bargain.

A friend of mine is planning on buying a new bike in the Spring, but this is the kind of handy coupon that would encourage her to purchase now! $10 discount isn’t to be sniffed at!

Speaking of bikes… I really enjoy getting out and about on a bike. In my teenage years, I once went on a biking holiday in the Sahara. That was my first mistake – do you know how hard it is to cycle on sand!? Well, I had to try and do something to make it easier to cycle on the sandy shifting dunes, so I attached a ring of small field mice the whole way round the wheels. The combined power of the little mice legs managed to get me to my destination, and we all had a party, the field mice and I.

What these field mice were doing in the desert in the first place, I really don’t know.
