Here’s how:

• Register today for the Tell a Friend Event

All you have to do is spend $20 or more on 11th, 12th or 13th January 2011 and you will get 5,000 bonus points.

Then tell your friends! When they register and spend $20 or more also, you will receive an additional 5,000 points for each referral (up to 10 referrals) or 50,000 extra points.

You could earn up to 55,000 bonus points. That’s a reward of $85. Even if you and just one friend sign up and spend the $20 minimum each, you would get 10,000 (8,000 points = $10).

Great time to order all of those holiday prints! I think I must have taken at least 100 pictures of the kids on Christmas Day alone! I’ve had good luck ordering from many different photo centres, from the grocery store photo centre to the photography stores recommended by professional photographers. Maybe I’m just not that picky, but I’ll take whatever is cheapest! I’m not one to take my memory card to the store and try to add and edit hundreds of pictures at a time either, so I need to be able to do it all from my computer.

These are some great deals on prints especially compared with prices for 4×6 prints at other retailers such as $0.39 at London Drugs and $0.19 at Wal-Mart’s Photo Centre. Have you spotted any other deals we could add to this list?

I love Shopper’s Drug Mart. I shop there at least once a week, usually more. Since most of my shopping is done with a toddler and preschooler in tow, I need to get in and out as quickly as possible. At Shopper’s I can grab many of my grocery staples and be back in the van in under 10 minutes. I find that they have great weekly sales, with items like milk, eggs, cheese, and cereal at bargain prices.

I had never registered on the site before, so I did so and tested it out. You can choose themes for your photobook, depending on what you want it to look like. For example, I choose the baby girl theme under “baby and kids” to make a photo book for my mom, with pics of my little baby.

The book was pretty easy to make, though it can take a little time to get it just how you want it.

When you’re happy with your photo book and have added it to your cart, you can select your pick up location – just choose your nearest Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada.

What a great freebie!
