Canadian Freebie: Portrait Package Valued At $115 @ Sears Canada

Posted by on May 21, 2015 at 9:48 AM

Canadian Freebie: Portrait Package Valued At $115 @ Sears Canada

It might be time to update a few photos on your wall. Sears Portrait is offering a completely free portrait package including session fee valued at $114.91. Print the freebie coupon or schedule your appointment to claim this freebie.

This is a sweet little deal for anyone who needs an updated photo. Maybe you need a new LinkedIn profile picture that looks more professional, or you are trying to have a few professional portraits of your kids as they grow. Either way, free is the way to go in my book!

Once you click on the link, you are directed to a webpage that allows you to book your portrait sessions right away or print a coupon for later use. If you book your session right away, the deal should be in the system. I would probably print a copy of the coupon also to make sure there are no questions about this deal when I arrive at the studio. There is no expiry listed on this coupon, the coupon simply states “Hurry, this deal ends soon.”

Included in this freebie deal is the following:

  • Free session fee
  • One 11X14 wall portrait print
  • One 8×10 print
  • Two 5×7 prints
  • Four 3 1/2 by 5 prints

It states on the coupon that all of these prints must be of the same pose. That is how they sometimes can get you to purchase as they will take multiple shots and force you to only take home one pose with the freebie. This offer is also valid for only a single subject, so you will not be able to put multiple family members in the shot according to the rules. The freebie also states that appointments must be scheduled on a Monday through Thursday.

There is also an option at the bottom of the page to share the deal with three friends. Once you forward the deal, you will receive a coupon in your e-mail box for a free 8×10. While the original deal states you cannot combine the freebie with other promotions, in the e-mailed coupon you receive for the extra 8X10 it states that it can be combined with the freebie. I received my e-mailed freebie within 20 minutes of signing up.

Go print your freebie now Bargainmoosers, and put a few free prints on your wall. I could use some free pro photos of my kid. I generally only buy pro portraits right before Christmas, so it will be nice to see the changes in how she has grown in the last six months.

Sears Canada: Columbia Men’s Element Blocker 3-in-1 Jacket Was $170 | Now As Low As $70 (FS @ $99)

Posted by on April 16, 2015 at 12:11 PM

Sears Canada: Columbia Mens Element Blocker 3 in 1 Jacket Was $170 | Now As Low As $70 (FS @ $99)

I actually just stumbled upon this awesome deal from Sears this morning. Get the Columbia men’s Element Blocker 3-in-1 jacket for only $87.94, with a regular price of $169.99. Because you don’t really get free shipping until you spend $99, you should definitely add another $15 or so in merchandise, because at that point, you’ll also get an additional 20% off your $100 order with coupon code 941612175, making your jacket an even sweeter deal!

This is an incredibly versatile and warm jacket for our Canadian winters. While the sun is indeed shining today, you’ll be happy next January that you scored such a good deal on a nice coat. But, you don’t have to wait until January to use it – because it is a 3-in-1, you can actually even use it now as well, as it works for all seasons.

What you get in this 3-in-1 is a nylon outer jacket that protects from the wetness, which can be worn on top of the other two pieces, or on its own on rainy spring days. Then, there is a polyester lining, which is insulating during the cold days. Last, there is a polyester inner jacket with a nylon lining. Wearing all three will give the maximum for warmth. The inner jacket has its own zipper front and zip pockets. The outer jacket has a storm flap and outside zip pockets.

It looks like all sizes are available in black, boulder and red.

There are two reviews, and both give it an outstanding rating:

I bought this jacket recently. First of all, this is just as warm as my previous jacket, but lighter and less bulky. Apart from the generally good design, here are specific reasons why I particularly like this jacket.

That reviewer also liked the chest pocket for his phone, and also mentioned that there are also waist cinches, which are great to keep you extra warm and covered.

I couldn’t find this exact jacket at other Canadian stores, but other Columbia 3-in-1 jackets sell for a minimum of $115 on sale at Columbia Sportswear. I did find it on, where it sells for $170. This is a fantastic deal from Sears on a Columbia jacket.

As I said above, I added another item to my cart – the Boulevard club reversible bold stripe scarf, that is $13.94 and was $24.99 and my cart with the jacket and the scarf and promo code added came down to $84.30.  The jacket came down to $70.36. The only problem I now have is that my shipping won’t be free, so I need to add something else! I don’t mind Sears Canada: Columbia Mens Element Blocker 3 in 1 Jacket Was $170 | Now As Low As $70 (FS @ $99)

Sears Canada: Today Only! Big Backyard Westwood Playground Was $1200 | Now $672! (EXPIRED)

Posted by on April 15, 2015 at 12:34 PM

Sears Canada: Today Only! Big Backyard Westwood Playground Was $1200 | Now $672! (EXPIRED)

Sears has an almost amazing deal on today only on all their Big Backyard climbers. First, you’ll get 30% off, second, you can use the coupon code 941612175 to get another 20% off! The Big Backyard Westwood playground was originally $1199.99, on sale for $899.99, which in itself is already a good price. Add the coupon code and bring your price down to $672! You may need a Sears card to checkout at this price, but I couldn’t confirm this, as it gave me the discount, but I didn’t go right through the checkout.

I was at Costco a few days ago and my son was begging me for a climber. We are moving next year, so there is no point in spending a lot of time and energy putting a climber up that we’ll probably just have to leave. I really do want to get the kids a climber and this would have been fabulous for us. The one at Costco, which is always a good deal, was over $1000. I’d love to pay under $700 for a $1200 climber instead.

The Westwood play system has so much for kids to do. With two slides and three swings, multiple kids can play on this without getting in each other’s way. There are also sandboxes, a large clubhouse, rock climbing wall and a chalkboard.

There are a few reviews and they mostly centre around the tediousness of putting the item together. I know that it is, as we have put a playground together so I don’t think it is limited to this climber.

While I wasn’t able to get you an exact price comparison, I did see sets at Toys R Us from the same brand. One like this with two slides would probably sell around $1200 – $1500, as you can see from the comparable climbers. This is a really hot deal at Sears.

Shipping is not going to be free, but your savings more than makes up for that. It will be about $70 to get to your home, which I do think is worth it, considering it is such a large item and you can just be happy you didn’t have to carry it from your vehicle yourself.

Sears Canada: 50% Off Barbie Beauty Sets – Now $9.99

Posted by on April 11, 2015 at 5:00 PM

Sears Canada: 50% Off Barbie Beauty Sets Now $9.99

It’s Barbie time! A number of Barbie beauty sets are currently on sale for just $9.99 at Sears, which is 50% off their original prices of $19.99.

In total, the following three beauty sets have been discounted by 50%, down to just $9.99:

Out of the three, I would totally go for the first one on the list, the Jetting beauty set, as it has the following positive review:

My three year-old loves her set!!! She does her own nails and lip stick. I find that the lip colors aren’t too dramatic and the nailpolish colors are very gentle and don’t go on too dark. My little girl always asks, “Mommy, where my ‘makeups’?”

An important factor to note here is that although the reviewer mentioned her three year old daughter, these sets are actually recommended for kids aged four year old and up. If your little one isn’t old enough yet, then this deal could be great to take advantage of anyways as it’s always better to buy ahead anyways — more savings in the long term this way!

It comes with 2 nail polishes, a set of 10 artificial nails, 1 sticker sheet, 2 lipsticks, 22 lip glosses, 2 heart-shaped trays, a 4-colour eye cream compact and a duo applicator.

The train case doesn’t have any reviews, while the ultimate beauty salon has two reviews with a total rating of 3/5 stars.

If your daughter isn’t a Barbie fan, then check out the Monster High Skullette fashion make-up case instead. This one is 50% off also but it’s slightly higher in price. Originally priced at $34.99, it’s now down to just $17.49 and comes with 3 lip glosses, 3 nail polishes, 2 quad eyeshadows, 2 chubby lip pencils, 2 chubby eye pencil, 2 spongetip applicators and even a toe separator. Monster High is actually all the rage right now, so if price makes no difference, then definitely pick up the Monster High Skullette set instead of the Barbie one. In fact, this one also has one 5/5 rating. Sears Canada: 50% Off Barbie Beauty Sets Now $9.99

Since shipping is only free on orders over $99 at Sears, you would need to either add more items to your cart to reach that threshold or you could always pick-up your order in-stores instead.

Sears Canada: Exclusive Inventory Reduction Sale

Posted by on April 7, 2015 at 9:54 AM

Sears Canada: Exclusive Inventory Reduction Sale

Sears is having an incredible inventory reduction sale on items like furniture, tools, outdoor living, decor and more. We’ve got an exclusive link for our readers to have a first crack at this sale, as it doesn’t officially start until tomorrow, but you can shop today!

There are 117 items on sale at their final price as Sears tries to get rid of items to make room for new ones. I’m actually really interested in the furniture and outdoor items on sale, as I need a few things! It is really difficult for me to price compare a lot of the items, but I still see some fantastic prices.

This Diablo pub-height dining table is 50% off, which I think is a fantastic deal for a tablet. Regularly $199.99, it is on sale for $99.99. The chairs are not included, but I think this item is great even without chairs. It has an industrial look, with an integrated wine rack. It would great on its own as a bar. It also has fantastic reviews.

If you need a new garage door opener, check out the Craftsman/MD 1/2 HP belt drive garage door opener, which was $349.99 and now $249.99. Craftsman is a brand that Sears sells so I couldn’t price compare, but did find that other belt driven 1/2HP openers sold around the $300 range. Again, this is another item with fantastic reviews, giving it a 4.7 star rating.

What I’m quite interested in is this Curtis bonded leather power motion reclining sofa. I recently bought new living room furniture but finding while it looks good, it is not functional. Everyone is fighting over one coveted spot and my back is crying out for somewhere that I can put my feet up. This one was regularly $1899,99, now $799.99.

I am also looking for an indoor/outdoor rug for my deck and this Alpha collection stripe indoor/outdoor rug fits the bill perfectly. I like the simplicity of the stripes, with three colours choices. The smallest size is regularly $59.99, now $30. The largest size is regularly $399.99, now $200.

Sears offers free shipping with a $99 spend.

Sears Canada: $100 Off Broil King Signet 90 Propane Grill – Now $650 & NO TAX With Promo Code

Posted by on April 4, 2015 at 12:30 PM

Sears Canada: $100 Off Broil King Signet 90 Propane Grill Now $650 & NO TAX With Promo Code

Summer is right around the corner and if you need a BBQ, then the Broil King Signet 90 family-size propane grill is $100 off at Sears right now. Originally priced at $749.99, it’s now $649.99 and even better is that you can use the Sears coupon code: 941612317 to save an extra 15% on it.

A couple of days ago, Avigayil blogged about Sears’ Save The Tax Event on right now until April 6th. I definitely didn’t expect for the coupon code above to work on the BBQ but was very pleasantly surprised when it was indeed applied at checkout and the subtotal stayed at $649.99.

The Broil King Signet 90 propane grill features:

  • 4 stainless steel Dual-Tube burners
  • stainless steel control panel
  • 500 sq. in. main cooking surface (695 sq. in. total cooking surface)
  • 50,000 BTU main burner & 10,000 BTU cast brass side burner

Out of 12 reviews, this barbecue even has 4.8/5 stars! Here’s what one reviewer had to say about it:

We looked around at several options, but found the Broil King Signet 90 was the best value for money and it also came ready assembled. When the lid is opened you have complete access to the whole grilling area, which is excellent. Use it regular, did a great lamb rack the other day.

A number of other Broil King barbecues are also currently on sale, depending on the size and power you need. Another great contender is the Broil King 440 propane barbecue, which also has 4.8/5 stars and a total of 12 reviews. Originally priced at $849.99, it can be yours for just $749.99 with no tax when you enter the Sears coupon code mentioned above.

Shipping also appears to be free. Usually, shipping is free on orders over $99 at Sears but since a barbecue is quite a large and heavy item, I’m skeptical as to whether it would truly be shipped for free. I added this BBQ to my cart and got all the way to the last part of the checkout without any extra shipping fees being added, so it does seem legit! Just to make sure, you could have it shipped to your local Sears store instead but you would need to go pick it up.

Sears Canada Coupon Code: Save the Tax Event – Get 15% Off

Posted by on April 2, 2015 at 4:59 PM

Sears Canada Coupon Code: Save the Tax Event Get 15% Off

Sears Canada has just launched their ‘save the tax’ event where you receive a flat 15% off your entire order of select sale items, regular priced items, and more.

Click here to shop @ Sears Canada now

  • Coupon Code: 941612317
  • Discount: 15% off
  • Expiry: 6th April 2015

This offer is better than an actual ‘save the tax’ offer where tax is not included on your order. This way, you receive the 15% discount before tax is calculated. So you will not only save money on your item, but you will also pay less as the calculated tax rate is less as the item you are buying costs less.

The offer is a flat 15% discount, which works out really well for those living in lower tax provinces. For those living in Alberta, you save three-times your tax rate!

The discount applies to the usual stuff like clothing, tools, toys, and more. For the full list of applicable items, visit the link above. Do note that the coupon excludes items with prices ending in .94, .88, .91 or .97. There are other exclusions, but these price ones always seem to trip me up. The outlet is also excluded (what a shame). Unusually, the coupon also works on some major appliances!

I checked out the appliance section because these are big-ticket items. I found a LG 7.3 Cu. Ft. Large-Capacity High-Efficiency Dryer on sale from $849.99 marked down to $649.99. Once I added it to my cart and added on the applicable coupon, the dryer came down to $552.50! One reviewer mentioned some of the best features of this dryer:

New Dryer has no problem Drying my King Size Duvet and at the right temperature. Has many choices for types of Drying. My Old one had 4. It is a quiet Dryer and with 2 Dogs and a Cat, I am finding much more of the hair is left on the Dryer Filter as opposed to on the clothing. It scares me to think of the amount that was left on the clothes previously.

I also checked out some Kenmore appliances, as the coupon is valid for that brand as well. The Kenmore /MD 24” Built-In Dishwasher- White is on sale from $549.99 down to $459.99. After coupon code, the dishwasher comes down to just $391 in my cart.

You will see the coupon applied at the last stage of checkout if your order is applicable. Given this coupon is valid on appliances and some bigger ticket items, I think it is a great deal. Shipping depends on what you buy and whether you want home delivery or delivery to store. Receive free shipping on lighter items when you spend $99 or more.

Sears Canada: Fresco Home 9L Roasting Pan Was $40 | Now $10 + Shipping

Posted by on March 25, 2015 at 8:31 AM

Sears Canada: Fresco Home 9L Roasting Pan Was $40 | Now $10 + Shipping

If you’ve got family coming over for Easter next weekend, you might be scrambling to decide what to cook. You might also wonder what you’ll cook it in. Don’t fret, as Sears has a fantastic deal on today only on the Fresco Home 9L roasting pan with rack. This pan was originally $39.99 and now only $9.99. You’ll have to reach $99 to get free shipping, but if you want the pan alone, your shipping would be around $7.50, which still gives you a savings of over $20.

I really like the look of this pan, with a green exterior. I have roasting pans, but they are all oval. One like this is great for lasagna, which I really enjoy making for family dinners. Because it has a rack, you don’t just have to use it for lasagna and you can cook various meats in there too, like roasts or whole chickens.

The rack and pan are both non-stick so you don’t have to worry about getting the dishes cleaned up afterwards as it should come right clean. The pan itself is made with carbon steel and the side handles are riveted.

Taking a look at Hudson’s Bay, you could pay upwards of $300 for a roasting pan, depending on brand, but you really don’t need to. If it does the same job and looks almost as good, I’m going to pay the $10 instead.

The pan has great reviews with four on the Sears website, three giving it five stars and one giving it four stars.

needed a roaster with a rack in it, this one is fantastic, very easy to clean!!!

If after you get the pan, you are still trying to decide what to make, you could take a few tips from my article 5 Easy & Cheap Ways to Feed a Crowd At Christmas. That breakfast casserole would be great.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Frozen & More Costumes 50% Off @ Sears Canada

Posted by on March 24, 2015 at 3:23 PM

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Frozen & More Costumes 50% Off @ Sears Canada

Although Halloween is seven months away, kids can’t resist getting dressed up. My youngest son has a huge dress-up box, which he puts to good use on a daily basis. I think his favourite present to get would be a costume. He is also in love with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so I was very excited to see costumes from them regularly $49.99, now $24.99 at Sears right now.

My son is actually in love with Mikey, but Leonardo might do. Unfortunately, only sizes 8 and 10 are available so one of his older brothers might like this costume for next Halloween (or when he secretly plays dress up too). Scouring the web, I found this was a terrific bargain, with it being $46 at Walmart. Even if you only bought the costume and had to pay for shipping from Sears because you didn’t reach their $99 minimum, the $7.50 you’ll add will still make Sears cheaper than Walmart’s price.

Of course, every little girl has her Elsa and Anna fantasies and a costume is a great way to let her be that Frozen princess for a day (or more). Regularly $39.99, it is now $19.99.

If your little girl is past Frozen and Monster High is on her mind, check out the Clawdeen Wolf deluxe Monster High costume. Regularly $59.99, now $29.99. The rest of the Monster High team is also there if your child likes different characters.

While many of these costumes come in the larger sizes, I did find this Strawberry Shortcake kid’s deluxe costume at Sears, that was regularly $59.99 and now $29.99.

What I like about this sale is that the costumes are the big names that the kids love and will most likely still love in October if you are saving them for Halloween. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been around for so long, I already know my son won’t be disappointed in a few months if I tell him he’ll be Michelangelo this year. The same goes for guys like Darth Vader and Captain America, who are also on sale.

Fisher Price Imaginext Eagle Talon Castle Playset Was $80 | Now $42 @ Sears Outlet Canada (EXPIRED)

Fisher Price Imaginext Eagle Talon Castle Playset Was $80 | Now $42 @ Sears Outlet Canada (EXPIRED)

Now it can be easy for your child to imagine a world full of action. Sears Outlet Canada has the Fisher Price Imaginext Eagle Talon Castle Play set for just $41.94 as opposed to the regular price of $80. That means you save almost 50% on this medieval adventure set.

Fisher Price Imaginext is famous for creating tiny worlds of action and excitement for your little ones. While the Imaginext play sets can be quite pricey, this is a great deal. Right now you can save almost 50% on the Imaginext Eagle Talon Castle Play set by shopping at the Sears Canada Outlet online. This set would have normally cost you $80, but right now you will pay just $41.94.

Get ready for battle with this medieval adventure set. Your child will be set for hours of entertainment with the castle and accessories included in this purchase. There are 3 figures, turn discs, catapults, cannons, projectiles, firing discs, flags, castle and batteries are included. The figures even come complete with helmets, shields and swords. This might be a great addition to the play room if your family has recently ventured out to a Medieval Times show.

Take one of the life like figures and turn them on different disks to activate the defense mode. Talons will lock the gate to the castle while shutters barricade the windows. Then, the eagle’s head will reveal itself and be ready to fire at your enemy. There are also many different lights and sounds featured to spark the imagination. Your child can reconfigure the castle from being 20″ up to a whopping 42″, which will make sure that play time doesn’t get boring.

Did I mention that this product has great reviews? Here is a happy customer’s review:

My 4 year old received the Eagle Talon Castle and The Dragon for Christmas this year. They are by far the best toys he has received. We cannot wait to purchase more accessory pieces that interact. Approximately four times a day I hear my son exclaim “Defend the Castle!” and “Dragon!!!!” I haven’t had any issues with any of the pieces, everything has interacted well together and performed as suggested.

This Imaginext Eagle Talon Castle Play set for $41.94 at is best suited for children ages 3 – 8 years of age. If you are just purchasing this item alone, you will pay $7.95 for shipping. That means, after shipping and taxes your total will be $56.37 which is still quite a discount from the regular price. If you don’t want to pay that price for shipping, you can either opt for “Ship To Home” which will cost you $3.95, or spend $99 and get free shipping.

Sears Canada: Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Juicer Was $90 | Now $60 + Shipping (EXPIRED)

Posted by on March 4, 2015 at 11:39 AM

Sears Canada: Hamilton Beach Big Mouth Juicer Was $90 | Now $60 + Shipping (EXPIRED)

How are your new year’s resolutions going? Feel like you need a little bit of tweak? I know that I need something more to get my fitness and nutrition goals on track. Juicing is one way to get nutrients into your body in such an easy and not to mention, delicious way. Sears has a fantastic deal on the Hamilton Beach Big Mouth juice extractor right now. Regularly $89.99, it is on sale for $59.99. I actually found the regular price higher at competitor stores, so that makes this deal super!

This big mouth juicer doesn’t have a big mouth because it tells you pick up your socks and find a job. It has a big mouth that is an extra large chute for adding fruits and vegetables that don’t have to be chopped into tiny pieces to be juiced. You can add 3″ pieces into the chute, which means less work for you.

I think the biggest complain I have about my juicer is that it is so much work to clean up, but this one has a cleaning brush for easy removal of pulp and an easy to detach pulp container. Another way to keep clean up easier is to place a plastic bag (or paper) inside of the pulp container. That way you can just remove it and chuck it.

While we’re at it, if you think juicing is too expensive, even with this deal from Sears, check out Claire’s article on how to save money while juicing.

Need to hear about ways to use your juicer from those who know? This video is extremely informative:

Of course, I had to check to see if this was the best deal out there and it is. Best Buy sells it for $89.99. So does Future Shop. Amazon has it on for $99.99. Even Hudson’s Bay has a sale on today on all Hamilton Beach appliances, but its sale price of $74.99 is far more expensive than Sears price.

Gotta love reviews like this, and there are lots like it:

I’ve had this juicer for about 2 weeks, and have made various fruit and veggie juices, and now (today) almond milk. I am seriously impressed by this juicer, particularly at this price point (and even more so if you can get it on sale!) — I think I would be equally impressed with it if it had been twice its retail price.

Shipping is free on a $99 spend at Sears, otherwise you are paying a $7.95 shipping fee. Even with the fee on top, this is still a deal that beats the other stores. But, do yourself a favour and get your total up past $100 and save yourself that fee.

Sears Canada: Beautyrest Halifax Tight-Top Sleeper Now Only $150 (Expired)

Sears Canada: Beautyrest Halifax Tight Top Sleeper Now Only $150 (Expired)

A while ago, I posted a fantastic deal on mattresses at Sears. Unfortunately, there was something wrong with their system and these were all price errors and Sears cancelled all the orders. This infuriated me, but I’ve since learned that for your trouble, if you complain, you’ll be rewarded with a gift card. While that isn’t the best consolation for not getting an amazing deal on a mattress, it could make it worth your while to try for this mattress deal and if it is cancelled, ask for your free gift card for your trouble. Today’s deal at Sears may or may not be a price error, so if you are in the market for a new mattress, they have the Simmons Beautyrest Halifax tight-top sleeper in king or queen on for only $150.

This mattress is a firm support mattress with two quilted layers and two comfort layers. Basically, it looks like a good mattress from a quality name in mattresses – Simmons.

The shipping to your home is going to be about $70, so factor in this cost, which is standard for this sort of large purchase.

If you like Serta, I also found a similar deal, although only on the double or twin size. The double plush of the Serta Slumber Keele foam pillow-top sleep set is $300 but the firm sells for $1559.99. The twin firm is $150 with the plush selling for $1999.99. I find it interesting that the regular price of the twin is more than the double, telling me that the regular price is also an error. Either way, this is a good deal on this size of mattress, regardless of regular price.

If you don’t want to gamble on price errors and just want a fantastic price on a mattress, there are plenty on clearance at good prices. This Sealy Malta II tight top sleep set starts at $359 for the set in twin in double up to $679.95 for the king.

Sears Canada: Today Only Bath Sheets Were $25 | Now $15 (FS @ $99)

Posted by on February 18, 2015 at 12:08 PM

Sears Canada: Today Only Bath Sheets Were $25 | Now $15 (FS @ $99)

Stock up on the basics today only at Sears Canada. They’ve got their wholeHome Oxygen bath towels, sheets and face cloths on sale for 40% off.

If there is one thing that every family needs, it is towels. As I realized when the towels I was given on my wedding grew old and smelly, towels can be expensive! Unfortunately, they are also not something you want handed down to you. Well, I’ve had towels handed down to us from our in-laws, but they are probably the only people I’d like them from as they keep everything in their home immaculate. Their hand-me-down towels were in better condition than the ones I had bought new!

Either way, it looks like it might be time to get more new ones as I’m finding they are losing that softness, that some have a weird smell I can’t get rid of and they are somewhat frayed. Plus, I have no idea where all the hand towels went. I bet if I looked in the garage, I might find them near my husband’s tools, so those won’t be making their way into the main bathroom again.

These towels at Sears look very plus, with 400 grams per square metre of weight and extra-long staple cotton. No idea what those terms mean? It just means they are very soft and lightweight. You can even get them monogrammed for an extra charge.

There are eight colour choices available, and all are a light colour. Bath sheets, which are the larger version of a bath towel, meant to stay around you after your shower were $24.99 and are now $14.99. Bath towels were $15.99 and are now $8.99. Facecloths were $7.99 and now $3.99. Hand towels were $9.99 and now $5.99.

Because shipping is free at $99, you’ll want to get the entire set. If you spend less than $99, you’ll be charged a $7.95 fee for shipping, so buying one facecloth and paying shipping really isn’t a smart move.

Consider that you can get yourself two bath sheets, four bath towels, two hand towels and six face cloths for a grand total of $102 including shipping. Regularly that would come to $180. I think this would make a fantastic wedding gift, but I may be bias.

Sears Canada: Featherlite 55″ Aluminum Ladder Was $60 | Now $27 + Shipping

Sears Canada: Featherlite 55 Aluminum Ladder Was $60 | Now $27 + Shipping

Looking for a handy ladder for doing home renovations? Sears has a great deal on right now on the Featherlite 55″ aluminum platform ladder, that had a regular price of $55.99 and is now $26.99. Shipping is free at $99, so you might want to see what else you need at Sears, or you’ll pay about $8 (what it was to my Ontario address) to ship to your home. You also have the option of shipping to store for free.

My husband and I are addicted to the Home Network. He loves renovation shows, I love home buying shows. Either way, if we aren’t watching our favourite shows like Shameless or American Horror Story, we have HGTV on in the evenings. He’s got the reno bug and even though we don’t own a house, he wants to buy one that has something he needs to fix up. I’m all about not doing any extra work, but he loves having a project.

This ladder might make him the perfect Father’s Day gift, along with buying a house that needs some renovations. At only $27, I think this is a hot deal and I never pass up a practical and useful hot deal.

This particular ladder boasts that it is lightweight, has a fold-down utility tray for your tools or paint and has slip-resistant feet. We don’t want any accidents! The comfort foam grip on the handrail is handy when you need to lean a little bit as well. This ladder is rated as type 2, which means it is for household use with a workload of 200lbs.

I don’t really see this ladder elsewhere, so I can’t give you a price comparison or reviews, but Featherlite is a well-known name in industrial ladders.

Sears is known to sell out of their sale items quickly and even though this is advertised as being on sale until February 18th, you might want to jump on it before it does sell out.

Sears Canada: Hamilton Beach 20-Cup Digital Simplicity Rice Cooker Only $40 + Shipping

Sears Canada: Hamilton Beach 20 Cup Digital Simplicity Rice Cooker Only $40 + Shipping

The Sears Outlet has the Hamilton Beach 20-cup digital simplicity rice cooker on clearance for $39.94. While the regular price on their site says $49.99, I actually found that it is much higher, making this a steal of a deal.

While I don’t myself have a rice cooker, I think it is a really good investment for my family and most families. Rice is a staple we eat often, as it is low in calories and if you eat the brown rice, so good for you. I like to cook up a big batch at the beginning of the week so I can add it as a side dish very easily for dinners and lunches and even breakfast.

Rather than boil the rice, the rice cooker method is so much easier and a huge time saver. This rice cooker can cook 20 cups of rice, which is quite a lot of rice, but it lasts for a while, so if your family eats it often, this could be a week’s worth of rice. It is also great for cooking a big batch for a party.

The technology on this rice cooker is also cool, as it has sensors that lets your cooker think and decide if the rice is truly done. It even has a simmer function so you can add other items like seasonings, beans and more. You can also steam your vegetables in here, so you don’t need another device like a steamer.

There is one review, which gives it a four-star rating, but I like what it has to say:

Sears Canada: Hamilton Beach 20 Cup Digital Simplicity Rice Cooker Only $40 + Shipping

Like I said, the regular price for this rice cooker is much higher at other stores like Walmart and Amazon where I found it for $62.97 and Best Buy where it sells for $69.99. This means your true savings is about $30.

You are going to have to pay shipping on this product, unless you buy other items to get your total up to $99. The fee to me is $7.95, which is still well worth it for this deal.
