The Source Canada: Samsung Wireless Mono Laser Printer | Was $100 Now $50

The Source Canada: Samsung Wireless Mono Laser Printer | Was $100 Now $50

It’s a great day to save a buck, my fellow Bargainmoosers! At this time, you can pick up this sweet Samsung Wireless Mono Laser Printer from The Source for only $49.99! That’s right – it’s 50% off the regular price of $99.99, and that’s still a decent price for a laser printer! You’ll also qualify for free shipping! Like many products that have great sales at The Source, this Samsung Wireless Mono Laser Printer may not be in stock for very long, so if you need a new printer, or if you’d like to finally try out a laser printer, then you should consider taking advantage of this deal!

This Samsung Wireless Mono Laser Printer seems like a great piece of equipment to have in your home office. It has a maximum print resolution of 1200 dpi, a 1,500-page one-piece toner cartridge that’s easy to replace, a maximum capacity of 150 sheets at a time, and best of all, you can easily connect this printer to your wireless network, since it has built-in Wi-Fi capabilities! You can learn more about this laser printer by clicking on the link above. Since this is a mono laser printer, it can only print in black and white, but if you don’t really use your colour ink (I know I don’t), then this shouldn’t matter – especially if you rely on your printer to print documents.

I keep toying with the idea of buying a laser printer. It can just go through so many sheets of paper when compared to ink-jet printers. Just like ink-jet printers, it can be pricey to buy new ink, and this printer is no exception (it’s $49.99 to get a new cartridge for this laser printer at 123inkcartridges). However, you should also remember that laser printers last much longer than regular ink-jet printers, so it will be a much better purchase.

If you wanted to buy this Samsung Wireless Mono Laser Printer from Amazon, it would cost you $79.99. Listed below is a brief review of this laser printer from a satisfied The Source customer:

It works for me! Simple printer with small footprint. It’s all I need, Thanks, Samsung!

Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

Best Buy Canada: Samsung Bagless Canister Vacuum | Was $300 Now $200

Posted by on November 1, 2014 at 9:00 AM

Best Buy Canada: Samsung Bagless Canister Vacuum | Was $300 Now $200

Is your current vacuum just not as powerful as it used to be? Perhaps it’s time to get a new one – when vacuuming starts to become too tedious (especially when you’re using a machine that requires you to go over the same spots repeatedly due to its age), then you should do yourself a favour and retire your machine. Thankfully, Best Buy is currently having a sale on their Samsung Canister Vacuum today! It normally retails for $299.99, but you can now buy this canister vacuum for $199.99. You’ll also qualify for free shipping – whoo!

This is a pretty nice deal – especially since you’re saving 33% on the regular price! This Samsung Canister Vacuum (model VC12F50HNDU/AC) comes with a 3-in-1 accessory pack, and has some sweet features, like a remote control handle that makes it easy for you to turn this machine on and off, a svelte bagless design, and an advanced HEPA filtration system. It’s also quite powerful, since it has Cyclone Force Multi Technology. You can read more about this bagless canister vacuum by clicking on the link above.

I currently use a Dyson bagless vacuum, and prior to that, I used bags. I can honestly say that you save so much by going bagless! Just think about all the dirt that needs to be removed when you’re vacuuming your home – especially if you’re vacuuming at least once a week, it won’t take long for those bags to fill up!

If you wanted to buy this Samsung Canister Vacuum from Lowe’s, it would cost you $299. I’ve included a brief review of this bagless vacuum from a satisfied Lowe’s customer below:

This Samsung works great. Has 3 levels of suction and you can feel it pulling the carpet. The power button on the wand is a great feature. And very easy to empty the canister. Before purchasing this particular vacuum, I read online reviews and this model seemed to have the least negative reviews.

Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

The product that’s on sale right now is the Samsung Gear 2 Smart Watch (Orange), which is now selling for $199.99 – the regular price of this smart watch is $329.99, so you’re saving $130 on the retail price! Not only does it look sleek, sophisticated, and sweet, but it can also . You can learn more about this Samsung Gear 2 Smart Watch by clicking here.

Smart watches are becoming very popular. Even Apple is releasing their own smart watch in 2015, known as the iWatch, and that will definitely turn some heads. I’ve seen these Samsung Gear 2 Smart Watches on display at WalMart and Best Buy locations recently, and they look very nice. Plus, with all the apps that you can get for it, it will always be something that you could rely on for many years. Best of all, it’s rechargeable so you don’t have to worry about replacing its battery like regular watches!

If you were to buy this Samsung Gear 2 Smart Watch at Best Buy, it would cost you $329.99. Listed below is a snippet of a review of this Samsung Gear 2 Smart Watch from a satisfied Future Shop customer:

I have a Samsung Smart TV so I use the remote control on the watch for the T.V. I also use the watch to control my music, this way I leave the phone docked and I can use the watch to adjust the music. The water resistant feature is nice to have so you don’t have to worry about getting it wet or submersing it for short periods of time. Really nice tech toy, I recommend it.

Get it now before it’s gone! Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

ML-2165 Laser Printer Only $49.99 + Shipping @ Memory Express Canada

Posted by on May 15, 2014 at 10:17 AM

ML 2165 Laser Printer Only $49.99 + Shipping @ Memory Express Canada

I was doing a price comparison for the ML-2165 Monochrome Laser Printer, and I spotted a super price over at Memory Express Canada. They are offering this basic Samsung laser printer for only $49.99 plus shipping!

Shipping costs depend on where you live. But for example, a test order to Ontario showed a shipping fee of an extra $8.99. Even with that shipping fee, it makes this printer about $59 plus taxes.

Price comparison for this Samsung ML-2165 Monochrome Laser Printer (including shipping fees): $100 @ CanadaComputers, $80 @ Best Buy, $98 @ Amazon, $100 @ Staples, $94 @ OfficeMax, $90 @ CDW, $80 @ LondonDrugs. The printer is $44.99 plus shipping @ FactoryDirect but it’s a refurbished model, so not quite the same to compare. SO, as you can see, the price from Memory Express is very competitive.

Sitting at my feet just now is a Samsung printer very similar to this one, except my printer also has a built-in scanner, it’s a multi-function device. In saying that, I’ve got an extremely high opinion as to the quality of Samsung products, I think they’re top notch.

Rogers: Reserve a Samsung Galaxy S5 and get a $50 Pre-Paid Mastercard (Only 10,000 Available)

Rogers: Reserve a Samsung Galaxy S5 and get a $50 Pre Paid Mastercard (Only 10,000 Available)

Reserve Samsung’s newest flagship phone at Rogers and get a $50 prepaid Mastercard!

This is a limited quantity offer so I don’t know how many are left or how long it will last. If you want to get in on this deal, do it right now.

If you are one of the first 10,000 people to reserve the new Samsung Galaxy S5 on a two year plan from Rogers, you will get a $50 pre-paid Mastercard which is good, because these phones are getting expensive. The pre-paid card won’t be a physical card, it will be on this totally awesome new technology called SureTap, which is going to be a place to pay for things using your smartphone! I had the OG Galaxy S and I currently have a Galaxy Note II both of which were going for $200 on a two year plan. I think I got a deal on the Note II but still, it was retailing at $200. And I thought $200 was expensive. Now they are bumping it up to $249.99. Why, back in my day I could go to the phone store with a nickel, buy three smart phones and still have enough left to make a mortgage payment.

But that’s just the way things go nowadays so you might as well take advantage of the deal and get a great phone while you’re at it. The Samsung phones really are great hardware. If you have a Galaxy S4 or a higher end phone from that generation, you probably don’t need to upgrade as the jump isn’t that great but if you have something around a Galaxy S3 or a lower end phone, this is a great one to get.

(Expires: 10 April 2014 or after 10,000 have been reserved)

SIG Electronics: Free Jawbone Jambox ($150 Value) When You Buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 8″ for $330 ($400 value)

Posted by on February 8, 2014 at 7:00 PM

SIG Electronics: Free Jawbone Jambox ($150 Value) When You Buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 for $330 ($400 value)

Get the grandaddy of Bluetooth speakers when you get a great Samsung Galaxy Note tablet from SIG electronics!

This is a great deal. No way around it. The tablet normally retails for $399.99 pretty much everywhere and the Jambox sells at $149.99 everywhere. It’s funny, some other retailers have matched the Galaxy Note 8″ and dropped the Jambox by $20 as if we’re going to go for them instead of this deal. Competitors might as well keep the price high and hope no one finds the SIG deal. The Tablet is normally $399.99 but you’re getting it for $329.99 ($70 off). The Jawbone Jambox is $149.99 but you get it for free!

Anywho, we have two great products here. The Jawbone Jambox was not the first in the Bluetooth Speaker market but they made it awesome. This is an outstanding product. It has great bass for a little unit and because it’s so little you can toss it in a purse, backpack or suitcase to take to the hotel room, a BBQ or anywhere you want some sound! It pairs to any Bluetooth device which means it is going to work with pretty much anything you’ve got.

Like your Samsung Galaxy Note 8″. I have the Galaxy Note II Phone and I love it. I’m personally a little sick of Samsung’s crapware but that happens with any device you buy other than the Nexus line of products. On the plus side, Samsung recently said they were going to put less junk on their devices and allow you to remove it which is a great big step in the right direction. Additionally the Note 8″ (which comes with Android 4.1) is reported to be getting 4.4 soon. The best thing about the Note 8″ is the stylus. It comes with a pen that lets you do everything from taking notes to making really high quality art. Just Google around for some of the artwork made with a Galaxy Note device. You’ll be really shocked at some of it. I take a decent amount of notes on mine but I find I use it more for fine manipulation. It makes it easy to fast forward a movie to a precise spot, fling that Angry Bird in just the right place or tap the ‘X’ on that ad without accidentally clicking the ad.

Shipping is a flat $9.99 to Canada.

CanadaComputers: Samsung 24″ Series 3 LED Monitor for only $150 (Save $30)

CanadaComputers: Samsung 24 Series 3 LED Monitor for only $150 (Save $30)

Get this 24″ Samsung beauty for less from Canada Computers.

I haven’t been in the market for a monitor in a long, long time so I needed to check prices to make sure this was a decent deal. I poked around and, as it turns out, it’s a good deal. I’ve seen them selling anywhere from $180 to $225. You are getting it for $149.99. That’s $30 off the original of $179.99.

Again, I haven’t been in the market for a monitor in a log time but I have been looking for a new TV lately and Samsung is the top of my list. And what is a TV but a big monitor, right? I know it’s a bit different but the things that make it different are basically software and inputs. A LCD panel is still and LCD panel regardless of size and form factor. They even made some of the best monitors back in the CRT days.

Shipping is based on where you live. As usual you’d be best to pick it up in store if you can.

MemoryExpress: Free Upgrade to Two Year Warranty with Purchase of Current Samsung TVs (In-Store)

Posted by on December 16, 2013 at 8:30 PM

MemoryExpress: Free Upgrade to Two Year Warranty with Purchase of Current Samsung TVs (In Store)

Protect your new Samsung TV at MemoryExpress!

This particular deal can be purchased online but it only makes sense if you live near a store.  That pretty much means Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver/Richmond and Winnipeg. That’s not like having a deal only in Toronto but it covers around 3 million people. Their warranty is what they call an IPR or In-store Product Replacement. Once you have the warranty, you simply bring your broken TV in to the store, they check it out and give you a new TV. Not refurbished, new. Not too shabby. Make sure you check out all the IPR details.

I don’t generally like extended warranty, but this one seems pretty good and, as much as it sucks to get a warranty and never use it, the times you need it are great. I bought an extended warranty on my washer and dryer and have used it twice on the dryer and once on the washer. Definitely made up for what I spent on it. So spending nothing on a warranty is awesome.

A washer and dryer breaking is one thing but it’s a whole other thing altogether to live without your awesome Samsung TV, amirite? There are 26 great Samsung TVs available with this deal from all price and size ranges.

Do you ever get an extended warranty? Let me know in the comments below!

Walmart Canada: Samsung Camera Only $199

Posted by on November 23, 2013 at 6:00 PM

Walmart Canada: Samsung Camera Only $199

Walmart has a fantastic deal on a Samsung camera, with $100 off, now only $199.86.

This all-in-one camera makes a fantastic gift idea. It has a 35 times super long zoom, so you can take photos of those moments that are far away, like your child on stage at the holiday concert, scoring a goal, or for stalking your ex (although I don’t recommend that). The photos are still crisp and sharp, even at a long distance. Low light is not tricky for this camera either, with a super-fast and sensitive 16-megapixel back-side illuminated CMOS sensor.

Not just a camera, it does full HD videos and has optimal sound settings so that all you hear is the video itself and not the camera working.

I couldn’t find very many reviews on this camera, but I think it is an inexpensive option and at $100 off, it makes it a great deal too. If you want a camera with a number of great reviews and many features, you are going to pay quite a bit more.

Shipping is free. For other stores that ship for free, check out our free shipping page.

Bell Mobility Canada: Save $100 When You Buy the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear!

Bell Mobility Canada: Save $100 When You Buy the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear!Get the latest Android smartphone and the newest kid on the wearable technology block for $100 less from Samsung and Bell Canada!

To get to this deal click the above link and scroll down to the “Get Galaxy Gear” links and click the one for the colour you want.

Wearable technology is the next big thing. Apparently. I don’t know. I’m down with wearable technology (and OPP) but I’m a little sick and tired of all the pundits who are trying to validate their use of it. No one out there will actually say it’s really cool to take pictures, read texts and do all this other stuff from their watch. For whatever reason these dummies just need to go on about stuff like their quantified self. This is the idea of knowing your blood pressure, heart rate, blood oxygen level, how many steps you’ve taken, how well you’re sleeping and all that other stuff from wearing some piece of technology. It’s fine to know all that stutff but come on, that’s not the real reason for wanting wearable technology, that’s just an excuse to be a big, big dork.

Okay, rant over. Samsung’s Galaxy Gear was released in concert with the Galaxy Note 3. If you want both of these (and who wouldn’t) then you can get them for $100 less at Bell. The Galaxy Gear is normally $329.90 but you’ll get it for $229.90 plus the cost of the phone which will either be $299.95 on a 2 year contract or $799.95 outright. I have a Galaxy Note 2 and I absolutely love it. I would highly suggest the Note 3 to anyone looking to get a new phone. And no, it’s not too big!

NCIX Canada: FREE Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 w/ Samsung TV Purchase! ($200 value)

NCIX Canada: FREE Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 w/ Samsung TV Purchase! ($200 value)

Get a FREE Galaxy Tab 2 when you buy a Samsung TV at NCIX.

This is an all around great deal if you’re in the market for a TV. I had a Samsung Galaxy S, I currently have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and my wife has an O.G. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. All awesome devices and while I haven’t played around much with the Galaxy Tab 2 7-inch I can’t imagine it’s anything but awesome. And the seven inch form factor has really come in to it’s own in the past little bit. Even Apple, who said they would never do a smaller tablet has one out.

As far as TVs go, you can’t go wrong with Samsung. I’m thinking of surprising my family with a new TV in the next little bit and Samsung is right at the top of the list as far as a top notch T.V. goes. They make some of the best TVs out there and it’s hard to go wrong with their stuff. For shipping it looks like a lot of them have FREE or cheap shipping right now. There is also a deal on most of them where you get a good price on a wall mount for your TV. It’s $98 which is a savings of about $81.

On a side note, if you search for ‘free blet’ in the NCIX search bar, you can see all the TVs available with this deal. Yeah, free blet.

Microsoft Store Canada: Up to $300 Off Windows 8 Computers

Posted by on June 4, 2013 at 9:00 PM

Microsoft Store Canada: Up to $300 Off Windows 8 Computers

HP. Asus, Lenovo, Samsung. Whatever you want, Microsoft has it and they have it for less!

There are some awesome computers at awesome prices here. There aren’t really any that I wouldn’t recommend so pick the one that you feel fits you the best!

The elephant in the room with this deal is the Windows 8 part so I’m going to address that up front. These are great computers and Windows 8 should not turn you off from buying them. I’ll explain why. There are a few things that people don’t like about Windows 8 but let’s tackle the big one: the start menu/button.

Instead of the start menu we now have the start screen which contains all of your programs. So the main difference is that before you had a menu that popped up and now it’s a whole screen. This is quite literally the stupidest complaint about Windows 8. I can’t even think of an argument that makes sense for why this is bad. Instead of opening a menu in the corner and launching programs, you open a new screen. That’s it. You can leave the screen with the click of a mouse or the push of a button just like you did with the old menu. It is functionally unchanged except you can’t see what’s on you’re screen while you’re looking in the start menu. I would submit to you that it is a very limited case for having to have your start menu open at the same time you are reading a website or watching a video. If you’ve opened your start menu, your focus will be there until you are done with it.

As far as the start button, you can just push the start key on your keyboard and, because you whined so much, Microsoft is releasing an update to put the start button back. If you are really so enraged about the change, you can get a program Classic Shell to return your previous menu. People even complain that Windows 8 books in to the start screen. Waitaminute, you’re saying that the operating system immediately brings me to the place where I can launch programs?! That’s horrible! Or maybe it’s an awesome design choice so that you can choose which program to launch immediately on boot instead of having to open a menu and claw through stuff.

This is a deals site, not a tech blog, so I didn’t go into detail or hit all the points I would have had I been writing a tech article but I just wanted to show you that Windows 8 isn’t some terrible demon. I’m not even a Windows guy. I traditionally use Linux and I’m fine with Windows 8. So if you’re looking for a new laptop don’t let Windows 8 scare you away from these awesome deals. Also, they all ship for FREE!

What do you think about Windows 8? Let me know in the comments below!

NCIX Canada: Free Samsung Tablet ($200 Value) With Camera or Sound Dock Purchase

NCIX Canada: Free Samsung Tablet ($200 Value) With Camera or Sound Dock Purchase

Need a camera? How about a sound dock? Well how about getting a great one from Samsung and NCIX and grab a FREE tablet while you’re at it? Can’t think of a reason not to, can ya?

This is a very odd sale and I can’t really figure out why it exists. They have taken two specific Samsung products and said if you buy them, you get a FREE 8GB Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 WiFi 7 Inch Android Tablet, which is valued at $199.99. The only thing I can think of is that they got a double shipment of the camera and sound dock and just need to move them quick. Or maybe Samsung is pushing them to sell these specific items. Whatever the reason, it’s a great deal. Even the camera itself is discounted!

Shipping is free! The sale on the camera expires on June 6th, 2013, and the free tablet offer is available while supplies last.

Why do you think NCIX is having this deal? Has a mandrill kidnapped their president and threatened to turn him into a living marionette if they don’t sell these? Let me know in the comments below!

Samsung and Apple are the kings of mobile devices. They make the best, they sell the most. There is a problem with both of these phones though: they’re fragile. They’re fragile in different ways though. Samsung phones are fragile like knee pads are fragile. If you fall, the knee pads are going to get scratched up. They still work and if you don’t like that they are scratched, you buy a new one. If your Samsung phone gets scratched, it’s probably going to be on the removable plastic back. You can buy a new one and toss the old one. The iPhone is like a diamond. It’s pretty but if you damage it you need to buy a new diamond. You can’t just replace a part for a few bucks. Same thing for iPads but to a lesser extent.

But regardless of which phone you have, you should protect it. Black’s has tons of great cases and they are all 25% off with the coupon code above! For more deals from Black’s check out our Black’s Coupon Codes!

Shipping varies, depending on your location.

Do you have kneepads or a diamond? Is that the weirdest way to represent phones? Find out next week! … or in the comments. Yeah, leave a comment below!
