In-store details:

You can shop in your local Roots store with this free printable coupon from Roots Canada. You need a print out on April 22^nd and 23^rd. The offer will be valid until the 26^th of April, but you won’t need a printable discount coupon, as it is a store wide offer anyway.

It’s so complicated Roots! Your promos are not for those lacking in the brains department!

Regarding the expiry dates, I’d take those with a pinch of salt. Roots Canada has been well know to start a promo, and then extend the expiry dates to let it run for a while longer.

I’ve just had an email from Roots.ca to tell me about a free shipping promo which is on for Easter weekend! Between the 10^th and the 13^th of April 2009, all orders will receive free shipping. You don’t have to make any minimum purchase either, free shipping works on anything!

There are a load of baby tees on a 2 for $24 promotion. You can see them by clicking “kids & baby” at the top, then click the baby tees banner that appears. There are some pretty cute examples on offer, such as the “global warming is not cool” t-shirt pictured to the right!

All tees are already 20% off! Prices seem to start about $19.99 for their basic ladies tees, and $26 for the guys. The tee pictured to the left is the “roots seal tee” for guys, priced at $26. I think it’s quite nice. All guys and ladies polos are also priced at only $29 each.

I’m quite partial to a few of the clothing items from Roots. I really like their hoodies – perfect for inconspicuously robbing stores in the dead of the night.

I don’t know the expiry date of this one. UPDATE: The coupon is due to expire onFebruary 28th, 2009. But a $30 discount on a $100 spend is pretty decent.

They have a sale on right now, with many items up to 60% off!! All the applicable items on their site are already discounted down. To see it, it’s at position 2 in the big advert when you land on their site. This could be a perfect opportunity to grab a few bargain clothing deals. Let me see what I can find:

Ladies, check out the “Millie Button Up Cardigan” reduced from $98 down to $49.98. It’s a real cutie. And it has huge pockets in which you can store anything you want… candy, gerbils, love letters, cocaine…

For the lads, check out the “Royal Peruvian Plaid Scarf” which has been reduced from $58 down to $22.98. It’s made from Made from 100% Luxurious Baby Alpaca!! I actually had to google that to see what an alpaca was. I think they should have worded it “Made from 100% Luxurious Baby Alpaca Wool” as I thought it was made from the whole animal.

There are also a few bargains in the kids section too… such as the “Boys Warmth Hoody” reduced from $26.99 to $14.87. It’s black as the blackest night. Or the “Girls Long Sleeve Bow Tee” for only $9.87… what girl could live without such a bow round their neck?

Shopping online @ Roots Canada over the next few days gets you a nice bonus in your shopping cart. Spend at least $200, and you’ll get a nice $50 discount! It seems to apply to everything, even their leather items which are sometimes excluded from this kind of promotion. You’ll see it automatically applied in your cart. Don’t forget you can also get 3.25% cashback @ DealGuild.

This promotion should also work with all the other deals that the Roots store are running at the minute, such as the sweat and t-shirt sale where you can buy 1 and get 25% or buy 2 or more for 30% discount.

Shipping from the Roots Canadian site is only $3.50, that’s pretty cheap. Spending over $75 gets you free shipping anyway.
