Summer Clearance Sale: Books, Cards, & More From $0.23 @ Book Outlet

Book Outlet Canada is hosting their summer clearance sale with books, greeting cards, and more from 23¢. Book Outlet is one of the most popular discount book retailers online because of their discounts: often you can find books over 90% off their retail price.

Check out The Biggest Loser Quick and Easy Cookbook. This cookbook is designed for those who want to eat yummy food and loose weight. Originally $21.99, this cookbook is now on sale for just $1.79! This may be my favourite deal of the sale as this book alone is over $20 off.  Read the rest of this entry »

Canadian Freebie: The Jungle Book Story Reading (iPad/iPhone)

Posted by on May 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM

Canadian Freebie: The Jungle Book Story Reading (iPad/iPhone)

The Disney movie The Jungle Book was an extremely popular movie back in the day, but its appeal has also extended down the ages. It’s still quite a timeless movie and still loved by kids of all ages, including me! Just now over on the Apple app store, there’s an app which you can download – it’s a lovely retelling of the movie, in illustrated ebook form. And what’s even nicer, is that it’s free!

The “The Jungle Book – Story reading for Kids” will be free on both iPad and iPhone, only for those of us on iOS. Sorry Androiders, this one’s not for you! The app store says that this app is free for a limited time, but I have no information when that is due to expire or what price the app will increase to, after that point. If you want it, download it right now.

This customer review sums up the positive points about this free book app:

Great classic book for kids. No ads, no in-app purchases.

That’s ideal. I really don’t love my five year old seeing extra buttons to buy other features or additional books, and wondering why we cannot just click it and get it. She doesn’t quite understand the foibles of micro-transactions quite yet!

I’ve just downloaded it and will be reading it with my daughter later today.

I just checked IMDB for the release date of The Jungle Book movie, and it was first released in 1967 and I was shocked, as was my fellow Mooser, Kristy! I didn’t realise it was soooo long ago – that’s nearly 50 years ago. I’m quite amazed how popular that this movie still is.

I’ve got The Jungle Book soundtrack on CD and it’s regularly played in my car, for the kids when we are travelling somewhere. We’re all fluent in, “I wanna be like you-hoo-hoo,” and, “The Bare Necessities.” Sometimes I even sing it when the kids aren’t in the car with me…

Is The Jungle Book an old favourite of yours too? Will you download this app for your wee ones to read?

Chapters Indigo: The Complete Far Side Was $72 | Now $58 with Visa Checkout

Chapters Indigo: The Complete Far Side Was $72 | Now $58 with Visa Checkout

Until this winter, there was no way to get your hands on the Complete Far Side unless you were ready to shell out over $100 for the hardcover edition. In November, The Complete Far Side was re-released in a new softcover box set. Originally $115, the box set currently retails for $72.10 with Plum. However, with the Visa Checkout discount, you can purchase The Complete Far Side for just $57.68 with free shipping.

I mention this set for several reasons. First, it is rare that a box set already discounted by 37% will go on sale. You can see that Chapters Indigo and Amazon Canada match on their prices (pre-Visa Checkout) as well. Amazon Canada has the box set for $72.10. It is pretty rare for Amazon Canada to discount box sets any further – book sales just do not happen very often. Book Depository has the set for $101.61. Not many other places online sell new books to Canadians.

This is also a very new set, just released at the end of November. The previous (hardcover) set came in two gorgeous but huge volumes. My partner owned this set, but could never read it much as the volumes were huge: larger and thicker than encyclopaedias. He was super stoked when this set came out and promptly purchased it. This set has three volumes that make the books much easier to read. They come in a cardboard slipcover that is cow-patterned. Overall, this is one sweet set and incredibly affordable after the Visa Checkout discount.

Really brings back great memories. Very, very funny. Never tire of reading them again and again….They remain funny

I also wanted to point out a few other box sets that become rather affordable with Visa Checkout – and a better price than you will get at Amazon Canada. The Complete Calvin and Hobbes paperback box set is one of my favourite things on this planet. Originally $100, the box set is on sale for $62.20 with Plum. Pick this beauty up for just $49.76 with Visa Checkout.

While not a box set, I highly recommend picking up the Oz Omnibus during this promotion. This recently released omnibus collects over 1000 pages of the Morvel comic ‘Oz’ illustrated by Skottie Young. The OZ Omnibus was $140, but it will only cost you $70.29 after Visa Checkout. This book collects all six volumes.

Receive free shipping on these box sets, omnibuses, and more when you spend $25.

Book Outlet: Extra 25% Off for Mother’s Day

Posted by on May 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM

Book Outlet: Extra 25% Off for Mothers Day

Book Outlet Canada is celebrating Mother’s Day by offering an extra 25% off their already discounted book prices.

The extra discount is taken off each book as you can see on the website. I decided to look for some of my old favourites and a few new ones.

My goal this year is to read all the books I have on my shelves that have not been read. I give each book a 50 page fighting chance. If I cannot get through 50 pages without yawning, then it is probably not a book I will want to keep. Currently, I am on page 185 of The Fellowship of the Ring by Tolkien. I think that not having read The Lord of The Rings series was a tarnish on my geek cred., so I started the series about a week ago. Purchase your own gorgeous copy of The Fellowship of the Ring from Book Outlet. Originally $19.99, the book is now down to $5.39 after the extra 25% off. I really like the cover of this edition.

I cannot recommend Neil Gaiman’s ‘Make Good Art’ Speech enough. I buy this book and give it to all the artistic people I know. I gave one copy to my friend Lee as he is into multi-media editing. I will be buying another copy for my friend Angel, as she is both a writer and a musician. I bought this book for myself as a graduation gift. Originally $12.99, the book is on sale for $3.59. This sweet little hard cover was worth the original price in my mind. The same book is $11.54 at Chapters.

If you are a Robert Jordan fan like my partner, you may want to check out the vast selection of books and graphic novels. I know my partner will be purchasing two books, as they are part of the series he is collecting (specific cover) and they are ones he does not have. Knife of Dreams for $5.39 and Crossroads of Twilight for $6.29 will be coming home with him. Knife of Dreams costs $16.60 at Chapters Indigo and Crossroads of Twilight costs $15.87. I can get both books for far less than the retail price of one at Chapters.

There are a myriad of gorgeous books and authors to choose from. Share some of your favourite authors below and maybe even recommend a few books!

Shipping is $3.99 plus $0.75 per book. Given that you are saving such a huge amount per book, the shipping cost is really offset by your savings.

Book Depository: Up to 50% Off Books & Free Shipping

Posted by on May 8, 2015 at 10:00 AM

Book Depository: Up to 50% Off Books & Free Shipping

Book Depository is offering up to 50% off the retail price on a variety of books with free shipping, no minimum required.

While most of us buy our books at Chapters Indigo or Amazon Canada, alternative book sellers can actually have better priced options. That is why it is important to shop around – even for books.

Do not miss the small white tabs at the top that take you between different genres including, fiction, sci-fi, young adult, and more.

In the fiction section, I checked out Uncle Fred in the Springtime by P. G. Wodehouse. I picked out this book because of the funny name and the pig in the bathtub on the front cover. Originally $14.67, this book is on sale for $7.32. The book is $16.96 @ Amazon and $12.91 @ Chapters.

Some of the books in this sale are older, thus they are OOS at Chapters and Amazon. I found All of Me: My Incredible True Story of How I Learned to Live with the Many Personalities Sharing My Body on sale at Book Depository from $23.84 down to $11.89. When it was in stock at the other companies, it cost $16.14 @ Chapters and $15.33 @ Amazon. I think this non-fiction book is interesting read about a woman who suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). This disorder resulted in multiple and very different personalities housed all in one woman’s body. How do you feel like yourself when you are many selves in one body?

In the children’s section, I found a Dr. Seuss book – Scrambled Eggs Super! – on sale from $9.16 down to $5.80. This is the yellow book version (soft cover), which I could not find many places. The hard cover version costs $14.40 @ Chapters and Amazon. Even the digital versions are more expensive than this edition. Both the Kobo and Kindle editions are $10.99.

In the lifestyle section, I found a yummy book on food. The Make Your Own Organic Ice Cream book sounds delightful and makes me want to buy an ice cream maker for my stand mixer. Originally $27.52, the book is on sale for $13.73. This book was $24.70 @ Chapters and is $19.52 even used at Amazon Canada.

There are plenty of other books to choose from including romance, thriller, and sci-fi titles. With free shipping on any order, I suggest placing orders around the $20 mark to avoid duty charges (Book Depository is a UK company).

Book Depository: 20% off Select Titles & Free Shipping

Posted by on April 22, 2015 at 1:30 PM

Book Depository: 20% off Select Titles & Free Shipping

Book Depository is one of those hidden gems of the book world. Usually, if you need a book you would look to Amazon or Chapters Indigo. However, Book Depository offers free shipping with no minimum. They also are currently offering an extra 20% off select book titles.

If buying any books from this sale, I always suggest price comparing. For all the books I price compared, the prices here were cheaper than at Amazon Canada or Chapters Indigo Canada.

Children

The Day the Crayons Quit  is a New York Times bestselling children’s book. What happens when the crayons go on strike? Blue is tired of colouring in water and pink would really like to be used some time! The book originally cost $12.76 but is now on sale for $10.13. The book is $13.72 @ Amazon and $13.72 with Plum Rewards @ Chapters Indigo.

Have You Filled a Bucket Today? is a guide to daily happiness for children. This adorable book shows kids, via a bucket, how positive actions fill both their bucket and the buckets of other people. This is a lovely book for younger kids learning the benefits of love, helping, and kindness. Originally $12.76, the book is on sale for $10.13. The same book (paperback) costs $11.68 @ Amazon Canada and $11.68 with plum Rewards @ Chapters Canada.

Adult

Some books are substantially cheaper than the books available in Canada. More Fool Me by Stephen Fry is on sale from $16.40 down to $13.05. While the cover is different from the versions on Chapters and Amazon (OOS), the book is the same: all 400 pages of it. Chapters Canada sells the same book for $21.91 after Plum reward. I am not a big fan of Stephen Fry’s acting, but his blog is a masterpiece of whit and wonder. The gentleman is a fantastic advocate for free speech!

All the Light We Cannot See is a critically acclaimed novel that was just released! In fact, there is one-day left to go on the pre-order at Book Depository. I expect this will be one of the most popular novels of this year. If you have never heard of it, the book is “about a blind French girl and a German boy whose paths collide in occupied France as both try to survive the devastation of World War II.” Originally $16.40, the book is on sale for $13.05 in paperback. The same paperback book costs $14.19 @ Amazon and $14.19 with Plum Rewards @ Chapters Indigo.

Reading Eggs: Exclusive 4-Week Free Trial & 25% Off Coupon

Reading Eggs: Exclusive 4 Week Free Trial & 25% Off Coupon

Hands down, one of the hardest things I’ve had to teach my kids is how to read. This is just behind getting them to sleep as infants and potty training. While there aren’t really apps or programs that help with those two, I can enlist help on the reading front. Reading Eggs is a program with games and other fun activities so kids don’t know they are learning in the process. We’ve managed to score you an exclusive four-week free trial, which you’ll see when you click the exclusive link below. When you are ready to purchase, we’ve also got an exclusive coupon for 25% off your one-year membership.

Click here for your free trial @ Readingeggs.com now

  • Coupon Code: BARGAINMOOSE
  • Discount: 25% off
  • Expiry: 31st December 2015

I have three boys of varying ages and so far I’ve tried this program with my seven-year-old who has been struggling with his reading. He used it yesterday and did like the games. What I did find is that he didn’t like it when it he got something wrong, because the software would simply say “no, like this”, which would make him feel like he wasn’t getting anything right. I did sit down with him a few times to show him exactly what to do.

Overall, I like that it tracks his work and I can see his progress through the lessons. There is a test at the beginning to figure out where the child is at what reading level. I have yet to try my four-year-old on the program and what I realized when I added a child to my free four-week trial was that it only gave him two weeks. What I would suggest is signing each kid up with a different email address so you get the four weeks for each child.

Lenny, a couponer who works for Bargainmoose, actually tried this program out before we got the exclusive trial and loves it for her four-year-old son. She said:

My son has only had the trial for a few days, and I have noticed a huge difference in his letters and word comprehension. He’s understanding the written version of numbers also. Its great!

Since we have this trial, it will give you time to realize if you love it before you buy it. If you do feel ready to buy it, use our exclusive coupon code to get 25% off and pay $51.75 instead of $69 and you’ll also have access to Mathseeds. I’m excited for them to try that program out too!

Note that this program is a U.S. program, so you may see a few differences in language and I always like to go over that with my child when I see it. They need to know the difference between neighbor and neighbour! Pricing is in CAD, so no worries about that.

Book Outlet: 30% Off Family Week & Extra $5 Coupon

Posted by on February 10, 2015 at 5:30 PM

Book Outlet: 30% Off Family Week & Extra $5 Coupon

Heads up book-loving Moosers! Starting Friday, Book Outlet is offering 30% off all books, puzzles, games and more – their entire online store will be on sale. I am giving you a warning because you can earn a $5 off coupon code before that date hits.

Here is how it all works. Book Outlet is throwing a party and having a giveaway where you can win one of 10 $25 gift cards. All you need to do in order to receive your exclusive $5 off coupon code is invite two friends who then sign up for the giveaway as well.

The $5 coupon will be for use during the 30% off sale – sort of a double deal of sorts if you are willing to do a bit of work for it. I love combining coupons with sales, so I am going to get my unique link and then invite my friends to enter the contest as well. This is why I am posting about the 30% off sale early – you can earn a bonus $5 off! I think that is worth it.

Are you having trouble getting two friends to sign up to the contest? Here are a few suggestions:

  • Post it to your Facebook wall
  • Tweet about this promotion
  • Email your friends and family

If you do not have any friends and your family hates you, then as a last resort you might want to use multiple email addresses. However, I do not recommend it (I hate multiple email addresses myself!). I just posted on Facebook and Tweeted about the promotion. You can check back on the website to see how many friends have signed up to the contest. In addition, when eligible, you will be emailed the $5 off coupon to use from February 13 – 17th.

I am still on a new-book diet, so this coupon will be given to my partner. The last time I found a deal like this for him, he purchased Legends: Short Novels by the Masters of Modern Fantasy. The book retails for $21.99 and is currently $9.59. If my calculations are correct, the Legends book should be only $6.71 during the sale next week. Take an extra $5 off your order (no minimum) with the coupon code you have earned.

Shipping is $3.99 plus $0.75 per book. The coupon will not apply towards shipping costs.

Book Outlet Coupon Code: $5 Off No Minimum

Book Outlet Coupon Code: $5 Off No Minimum

Oh, maybe just one more. That is exactly what I thought the second I saw this wonderful Book Outlet coupon code for $5 off your order with no minimum purchase this weekend.

Click here to shop @ Book Outlet now

  • Coupon Code: BookOutletJan5
  • Discount: $5 off
  • Expiry: 19th January 2015

This Book Outlet coupon code can only be used once per customer.

The 50/50 section is a good place to start. This is the place where fifty titles have been discounted by an extra 50% off. This week’s theme is puzzles of all sorts. For example, if you are a Sudoku master, then the Will Shortz Presents Fascinatingly Fierce Sudoku (200 Hard Puzzles) book is just what you need to stimulate those brain cells. Originally $8.99, the book is now on sale for $1.64. Personally, I think I need the Sudoku for the stage before beginner level book.

I think mind-bending puzzles can be a lot of fun, so The Little Book of Big Mind Benders would be a great brain tease. Originally $9.95, pick up this softcover book for just $2.19. Throw it in the car for camping when the kids have reached that nagging level of ‘I’m bored’ and you are at your wits end to entertain them, or just get them to shut up.

On Tuesday, I finally went to see the last Hobbit movie. I know there are people who hate the movie, but I rather enjoyed it. I think of the entire trilogy as Peter Jackson’s Hobbit and a beautiful adaptation of the original story (which I have most certainly read). I ran across The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey book at Book Outlet. This is an official tie-in photo guidebook with exclusive photographs and in-depth text about the first of the Hobbit films. The hardcover book retailed for $24.99, but it is at Book Outlet for just $8.79. I have to say, I am mighty tempted to purchase it.

Book Outlet’s website seems to be getting hit hard since the coupon was released. The website is a bit slow and often pictures are not loading properly. Have a little patience, and if you really need to see the cover for a book, I suggest Googling the title rather than waiting endlessly for the photo to show. In some cases, it just never loads.

Shipping is $3.99 plus $0.75 per book. So at the very least, the coupon will cover shipping costs plus a little more for one book.

Click here to shop books @ Chapters Canada now

  • Coupon Code: NEWYEAR
  • Discount: 10% off
  • Expiry: 16th January 2015

What are you reading this New Year? I have set a personal goal of 30 books on Goodreads this year, and those are all books I currently own. I have decided to get through my backlog of unread pages before I buy too many new distractions. One of the books I will be reading this year is All Men Of Genius by Lev Rosen. I actually won a signed copy of this book. Since I was in university, I did not get around to reading it. Thus, this is the year. My partner read the book and quite liked it. You can pick up All Men of Genius at Chapters Indigo. Originally $5.99, the book comes down to $5.39 after coupon.

I will also be reading a million Terry Pratchett books and quite a few books by Neil Gaiman as well. I am only about 20 or so pages into Stardust but it promises to be an interesting read. The book mixes the world of man with the fairy world on the other side of a great wall. A quest will be undertaken to rescue a fair maiden! The online price is currently $12.91, but the book comes down to $11.62 after coupon.

When I mentioned this coupon to my partner, he immediately thought of buying William Shakespeare’s Star Wars Trilogy: The Royal Imperial Boxed Set. This is a set he has wanted to get his hands on for ages – since I found him propped up against a bookshelf in Chapters reading from the first book when it was released. The set includes Verily, A New Hope; The Empire Striketh Back; and The Jedi Doth Return. The online price is $31.58, so after an additional 10% off, you will pay $28.42. One reviewer said:

I’m a huge fan of Star Wars and the Star Wars Universe and believe these books should be in any collection. I have also studied William Shakespeare in school and although I’m not a huge reader and fan of his work I greatly enjoyed this Star Wars/Shakespeare mix and found humor on every page. Also I love the art work found on the box set, very well done.

I believe my partner is ordering them right now. All orders of $25 or more will ship for free. For this and any future Chapters Indigo coupon codes, please visit the forum.

Book Outlet Canada: 30% Off Boxing Day Sale (EXPIRED)

Posted by on December 26, 2014 at 1:51 PM

Book Outlet Canada: 30% Off Boxing Day Sale (EXPIRED)

* Updated – sale extended until the 27th December 2014 *

My hubby placed his order the second this sale opened, so I know other bookworms will be interested. Receive an extra 30% off all books at Book Outlet Canada for Boxing Day.

Remember, if you signed up for the 50% off coupon (instead of the 30% off sale), make sure to use your coupon code today.

This sale is ripe with amazing book deals. While my partner was hunting down his favourite authors, we ran across this Orson Scott Card Boxed Set Trilogy with the following three books:

  • Ender’s Game
  • Ender’s Shadow
  • Ender in Exile

Originally $38.99, this box set usually retails for $16.49 at Book Outlet. However, right now it is on sale for $11.54. If you are willing to put up with a few cosmetic issues, the scratch & dent copy for only $8.11.

My own personal wish list was simple: I wanted nothing. Yet, I ended up getting two books. First, I could not resist adding Wintersmith by Terry Pratchett to my collection. Unfortunately, it just went out of stock. However, there are many other books by Terry Pratchett that you can pick up in this sale. I love the adult covers of Soul Music for $3.84 (a fantastic novel), Interesting Times for $5.38, and Maskerade for $6.15. They do not even look like you are reading good old-fashioned fantasy. Some of these books were not in stock just a few hours ago so stock is changing continuously.

If you are looking for a total chick-book that is 100% guilty pleasure and a ‘hard read’ then you need to pick up the very promising The Vampire with the Dragon Tattoo. I am not sure it promises great prose, but I do not think you read this kind of book for the quality or writing. Rather, you just want a deep and satisfying storyline with all the perks the summary promises. The book retails for $7.99, and is now $2.30 at Book Outlet.

For the kids, pick up Let’s Pretend: Nativity Play Set for just $5.03. It retails for nearly three times that price regularly, so it is a nice deal for the kids. Just hide it away in your gift closet until next Christmas.

There are so many good deals on books with new books coming in all the time. This sale is for today only, so jump on it now Moosers so there will be no regrets later! I now have to make room for two more books on my shelf. I have no idea how my partner will ever fit the ones he ordered onto his bookshelf!

Shipping is $3.99 plus $0.75 per book.

Book Outlet Canada: Sign-Up for 50% Off Boxing Day Coupon

Posted by on December 21, 2014 at 4:00 PM

Book Outlet Canada: Sign Up for 50% Off Boxing Day Coupon

Book Outlet Canada is having a 30% off site wide Boxing Day Sale, which is the same as their Black Friday sale was if you missed out. However, you have the opportunity to bump that sale up to 50% off site wide by signing up your email address and sharing their sale with a friend. They will then email you a unique coupon code for 50% off everything.

They had a similar offer for Black Friday (30% off plus a $10 coupon code if you signed up and shared). My husband hauled in a large stack of books with that combination of deals and I think he is looking forward to this Boxing Day sale to do it again. Needless to say, we had to give his book shelves a good organizing after Black Friday as they were overflowing!

The process to score this deal is simple:

  1. Enter your email address (twice)
  2. Share the news with your friends via Facebook, Twitter, Email, or through Link.
  3. Click “Done Sharing. Get my coupon code” after you have shared the deal.
  4. Save the unique coupon code that pops up. This will also be emailed to you.

Make your purchase during Book Outlet’s Boxing Day sale (starting December 26th) and you will receive 50% off everything instead of 30% off for those who are too lazy to simply share this deal with their friends (or who do not know about it). I sent the deal to my partner because we are both avid readers. The Boxing Day sale appears to be one day only and the best book selection will be earlier rather than later!

What books are on your wish list this year? While I have over 20 unread books on my shelf (so I have stopped buying), my hubby is busy collecting a beautiful trade paperback version of Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time Series. For my partner’s birthday (January 2nd), I bought him Artemis Awakening by one of his favourite authors, Jane Lindskold. I would have waited until Boxing Day, but the book never would have arrived in time for his birthday.

Book Outlet is one of my favourite places to buy books as they are far below retail value. Even with shipping costs, you are saving oodles of money.

Ruckus Books: 25% off & Free Shipping Grand Opening

Posted by on December 7, 2014 at 2:30 PM

Ruckus Books: 25% off & Free Shipping Grand Opening

Ruckus Books just opened their virtual doors on December 3rd. In honour of their grand opening, they are offering 25% off and free shipping on all orders.

Ruckus Books comes under the same company as Book Outlet, who we know and love already, and they use the same distribution channels as well. However, Ruckus Books is very different from Book Outlet. Where Book Outlet is the premier destination for Canadian discount books, Ruckus books specializes in 3D books. These are really incredibly detailed books where the book itself takes on the shape, image, or texture of what it is about.

3D books make incredible gifts for anyone who is passionate about a certain subject. My companion’s cousin is a huge beer fan. We are not talking Molson or Corona here; this gentleman is a connoisseur of import beers and even built himself a beer cellar. His last vacation was a trip to Belgium for the beer tasting and tours. For him, I think this A World of Beer 3D book would make an incredible gift. The book is shaped like a beer bottle and it tells the history of beer and how it is made. Regularly priced at $29.99, it is now on sale for $22.49.

For me, A World of Chocolate is the book I would choose. In most cities I visit, a chocolate tour is one of the first orders of pleasure. I adore chocolate in all forms: dark, milk, and good quality white. I love it in liquid form and in solid. This book is shaped like a chocolate bar. Not only that, it feels and smells like one too. The book talks about chocolate around the globe and includes a number of recipes for you to experiment with as well. Regularly priced at $29.99, the book is now on sale for $22.49. I like that it comes wrapped in foil and boxed.

I think 3D books are good gifts for anyone extremely passionate about a given subject. There are several books to choose from including food, drink, fashion, and sports. Also, if you run a business, then Ruckus Books can create custom 3D books that preserve texture, shape, size, and even scent into a memorably book.

All prices are in USD. Right now, all books qualify for free shipping.

As is common with these promotions, the offer is only available for two days. This is a wonderful time to buy those book lovers in your family their Christmas presents. The coupon works for Plum and irewards members only. Plum rewards is free to join!

The last time Chapters had this offer, my husband pre-ordered a copy of Avatar: The Last Airbender – The Rift Library as he is a huge Avatar fan and bought the previous books. This book will not be released until February. So you might want to look into the previous two.

Avatar: The Last Airbender – The Promise Library is $29.03 for non-Plum members and comes down to $26.13 after coupon code. It is the first of the three library size books. The second book is Avatar: The Last Airbender – The Rift, which retails for the same price. Pay only $26.13 for it as well. The library editions are huge hardcover editions with very good quality paper. They are well worth the price and make great gifts.

Books are really subjective, everyone likes different stuff! Thus, it is hard to make recommendations based on my tastes because you might not like what I like. However, I do know that the final instalment of The Hobbit trilogy is coming out and fans may want to buy the book! Pick up this The Hobbit: Gift Edition is beautiful hardcover. The book retails for $16.49, but will cost $14.84 after coupon code.
