(PS4) 59% Off Destiny @ Amazon.ca (Or 50% Off For Other Consoles)

(PS4) 59% Off Destiny @ Amazon.ca (Or 50% Off For Other Consoles)

Quick! If you have been wanting to play Destiny, then here’s an absolutely fantastic deal from Amazon. Right now, Destiny for PS4 is 59% off and can be yours for just $28.99 (expired). If you have a PS3, Xbox 360 or Xbox One, then you can pick it up for 50% off, at $34.99. Everywhere else, this game is priced at $59.99, though Amazon has an original list price of 69.99.

First, I must warn you. In writing about this deal, this game kept changing in price. I initially saw it for $28.99, then after refreshing the page, it went up to $34.99 and when I refreshed again, it went back down to $28.99. Even a $34.99 price tag is worth paying, especially since like I already mentioned, this game is being sold at full price everywhere else, but if this happens to you, then I suggest refreshing the page or viewing it in a different browser. Deleting cookies could potentially help as well.

Once you land on Amazon.ca, you can also try copy/pasting the URL into a new tab or browser as that seemed to solve the price discrepancy for me as well.

There aren’t very many copies left either, so don’t wait as it’s sure to go back up in price very shortly!

Destiny is essentially a first-person shooter game that verges on being an MMORPG as it’s massively-multippayer and features a shared world concept.

A1cross the board, this game has stellar reviews, like this one from Best Buy:

Best game of the year, but I shouldn’t be shocked it was made by Bungie, the best gaming franchise EVER.

Even at Amazon.ca, this game has a total of 3.6/5 stars.

According to numerous other reviewers, this game is highly addicting but do beware of the fact that there is some grinding involved. Okay, according to the countless reviews, there is quite a lot of grinding involved. Many have compared it to World of Warcraft in that regard, so only get this game if you have the time and patience to invest into it!

With regards to shipping, it’s free if you get it on any of the other consoles but for PS4, it’s $4.99 as it ships from Mythical Video Games, an independent retailer.

PS4, PS3 & PS Vita Games Under $1 @ Sony PlayStation Network Flash Sale (EXPIRED)

Posted by on March 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM

PS4, PS3 & PS Vita Games Under $1 @ Sony PlayStation Network Flash Sale (EXPIRED)

Got nothing to do this weekend? Then bust out your PlayStation console and head on over to the PlayStation Network, where you can get plenty of games for under $1… or slightly over.

Okay so the image above isn’t exactly for the faint of heart and I’m kind of cheating in mentioning it but then again, the Sony PlayStation Network cheated as well.

Although, speaking of faint of heart, if you like Cards Against Humanity, did you know that you can now play it online with Cards Against Originality? Make sure to read the blog post I wrote on it a couple of days ago.

There are plenty of deals under $1 to take advantage of but the game in the image above, which is Dead Nation Apocalypse Edition is on sale for $1.65 (reg. $14.99). Forgive me for the $0.65 difference! PS4, PS3 & PS Vita Games Under $1 @ Sony PlayStation Network Flash Sale (EXPIRED)

I’m mentioning it because it’s actually a pretty amazing deal for a game that was originally priced at nearly $15 and is now a whopping 89% off. Plus, any game that is that cheap for the PS4 is definitely pretty awesome, especially considering the fact that Dead Nation has over 38,000 reviews with a total 4/5 stars.

It’s your typical zombie game with the main difference being that the two main characters are, for some unknown reason, immune to the zombie disease despite getting bit and scratched repeatedly. Since it’s a PS4 game, you can expect the gameplay to being stunning, especially as evidenced by this review from PS4 Experts:

Dead Nation: Apocalypse edition is the premier version of Housemarque’s solid arcade shooter. For some, the gameplay may be addictive and unforgettable, while others may find it repetitive and bland. I myself found it to be a mixture of the two and enjoyed my time with it. That being said, the upgraded graphics and included DLC do provide a lot of extra gameplay to delve into. I do also enjoy the support for local co-op.

Games that you can truly get for under $1 include but are not limited to:

  • PS3 – 94% off Tokyo Jungle: reg. $14.99/ now $0.90
  • PS4 – 93% off Surgeon Simulator: reg. $12.99/ now $0.91
  • PS4 – 81% off Home – A Unique Horror Adventure: reg. $4.99/ now $0.95
  • PS3 – 81% off Bejeweled 3: reg. $4.99/ now $0.95
  • PSP/ PS Vita – 81% off Beta Bloc: reg. $4.99/ now $0.95
  • PS3/PSP/PS Vita – 84% off Extreme Pinball: reg. $5.99/ now $0.96
  • PS3 – 63% off Who Wants To Be A Movie Millionaire: reg. $2.99/ now $0.99

Have fun!

Amazon.ca: Turtle Beach COD Task Force PS4 Was $90 | Now $38 & Free Shipping (Expired)

Posted by on March 6, 2015 at 12:17 PM

Amazon.ca: Turtle Beach COD Task Force PS4 Was $90 | Now $38 & Free Shipping (Expired)

Amazon Canada has discounted the Turtle Beach COD Task Force PS4 gaming headset from $89.99 down to $38.43. As the headset costs more than $25, it will also ship for free to your home.

This headset is not readily available across Canada, but I did find it at a few other Canadian retailers. Walmart Canada sells the headset for $89.96. Newegg Canada also sells the COD Task Force headset for $89.99 plus $4.99 shipping. Neither Future Shop nor Best Buy stocks this product.

The Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Ear Force Sentinel Task Force Gaming Headset is designed for the PS4. Turtle Beach has designed a comfortable, lightweight headset with 50mm speakers. There is an in-line amplifier with Bass Boost, Master Volume, Mic Mute, and Mic Monitoring for easy communication with teammates. The mic is highly sensitive and removable. You can pop out the mic and connect it to mobile devices – including the PS Vita. Thus, the mic is multi-purpose.

On Amazon.COM, this headset scores 4.4/5 with over 40 reviews. Most people are impressed with the removable mic. Only plug it in when you need a mic and disconnect when you just need a plain headset. Here are some of the comments about this headset:

The base is strong so you can hear the distant rumble of explosions as well as the huge boom of a grenade going off right beside you. Voices are clear so you can hear in game chat and call outs while playing. TB knows how to make a headset that can play audio perfect for a Call of Duty game. Whether trying to hear footsteps in game or hearing what your teammates are talking about what person on the other team is camping where, you’ll be able to hear it all clearly..

That is really cool. I have owned a Turtle Beach gaming headset before and they are really well made. The earpieces were the most comfortable I had tried. Surprisingly, they were also the only ‘breathable’ headphones I have ever tried. Usually you can expect a little ear sweat if you are living in a headset, but these are designed a bit differently. This pair of Turtle Beach COD Task Force PS4 headphones has a perforated design on the earpieces.

Given that this headset is nearly 60% off the going rate, I figured this was a really sweet deal.

FutureShop Canada: MLB 14: The Show PS4 Was $30 | Now $10 (FS @ $25) *HOT* (EXPIRED)

FutureShop Canada: MLB 14: The Show PS4 Was $30 | Now $10 (FS @ $25) *HOT* (EXPIRED)

Future Shop Canada has a really hot deal on MLB 14: The Show for the PS4. Originally $29.99, the game is now on sale for $9.99.

I suggest buying this one QUICKLY as it has already sold out on the Best Buy Canada website. You also have the option of reserving and picking up in store, which will save you shipping charges.

Now, this is one heck of a deal. The same game for the PS4 is currently $34.52 on Amazon.ca. Even if you have to pay for shipping (around $5, depending on where you live), you will still save a ton off money off Amazon Canada’s price right now. EB Games sells MLB 14: The Show for $39.99 new and $29.99 recycled. On Walmart Canada, expect to pay $39.96. Compared to the price at Walmart, Future Shop has the game for 75% less money. The original price for this game at Future Shop is even less than everyone else is selling the game for right now.

There are several very lengthy reviews written about this game, so check out the reviews on Amazon and Future Shop for more details. This game averages 4.5/5 stars with 11 reviews at Future Shop. One reviewer said:

Great game! It is filled with tons of different gameplay options and a staggering amount of customization options. Graphics are breathtaking and all players and mascots really do look like their real-life counterparts.

If you have not figured it out yet, this is a baseball game. Grab your bat and your helmet for this awesome sports game. Immortalize yourself in baseball legend with this game. Enjoy enhanced game play, faster response time, better player creation mod, and a pre-draft showcase feature. There is even a funky little feature called “Road to the Show” that is sure to provide plenty of entertainment.

Even if you play the game and find you do not like it, right now you could trade it in at places at EB games or sell it at Kijiji or Craigslist for more than your purchase price.

Quantities are LIMITED!

Diablo 3 Ultimate Edition PS4 & Xbox One – Was $70 | Now $32.49 & Free Shipping @ Amazon.ca

Posted by on February 20, 2015 at 12:43 PM

Diablo 3 Ultimate Edition PS4 & Xbox One Was $70 | Now $32.49 & Free Shipping @ Amazon.ca

Gamers! Amazon Canada has dropped the price substantially on Diablo 3 Ultimate Edition for the PS4 and the Xbox One. The price for the game on these new consoles is cheaper than it is for the PS3 and the Xbox 360. Originally $69.99, Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition is now on sale for $39 $32.49 with free shipping.

You can select either console edition through the link above. I price compared this PS4 and Xbox edition with other retails to find it substantially more expensive elsewhere:

  • $64.99 @ Future Shop Canada
  • $64.99 @ Best Buy Canada
  • $69.99 @ EB Games (new)
  • $59.99 @ EB Games (recycled)

You would also have to pay shipping at EB games if you bought from there. I checked Walmart Canada as well, but they only have the game for older consoles. Amazon Canada’s price is the best you can get right now – and it is hot!

There are two different versions – one is English only and the other is French only. May sure you buy the right version or you might end up with a game in a language you do not speak. Evidently the French version for the PS4 does have an English language software package that can be installed so the game plays in English. i do not know if the English version has a language pack you could install for French. This is rather silly in my mind – if movies can be bilingual, why can’t a game?

Over, this game is a killer purchase at this price. It also has garnered high reviews from gamers. One reviewer on the Xbox One edition said:

Addicting as hell, I spent the last 12 hours playing non-stop, forgot to eat, drink and call my girlfriend to tell her I loved her, I’m now single. You want a game that will make you forget you have a life? Buy this.

I feel sorry for his girlfriend.

What blows my mind is that such a popular title is currently on sale for 40% off its original price – for the two newest consoles. How on earth did that ever happen? Even the recycled version at EB games is not that cheap.

You will receive free shipping on this game as it costs over $25. This is a win-win situation my lovely Moosers! Pick up this game before it sells out.

Best Buy Canada: Trade-in 2 Select Games for $70 GC (In-Store)

Posted by on February 10, 2015 at 5:00 PM

Best Buy Canada: Trade in 2 Select Games for $70 GC (In Store)

Best Buy Canada has started their trade-in event yet again. As a special promotion, they are offering a $70 gift card when you trade in two select PS4, XBox One, or WiiU Games.

Games must include their original boxes. They will not accept duplicate titles regardless of which console they are for. There is a limit of one trade in promo (of two games) per customer.

The following titles are eligible for trade-in:

Xbox One & PS4

  • Assassin’s Creed Unity
  • Destiny
  • Dragon Age Requisition
  • Fifa 15
  • NBA 2K15
  • Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor
  • COD Advanced Warfare
  • Diablo III Ultimate Evil Ed ENG
  • WWE 2K15
  • NHL 15
  • GTA V
  • The Crew Ltd Edition
  • Dying Daylight

Other

  • PS4 Little Big Planet 3 Ltd Edition
  • Xbox One Forza Horizon 2
  • Xbox One Halo Master Chief Collection
  • Xbox One Sunset Overdrive Day One ED
  • Wii U Mario Kart 8
  • Wii U Super Smash Bros

While they are all pretty new games, this is an opportunity to trade them in for a good return on your original investment. Two games equal a $70 gift card, so you are getting $35 trade-in value per game. You can then use that credit to buy new games, or even buy other Previously Played titles.

Each previously played title is backed by a 30-day money back policy and are guaranteed to work. Your previously loved games will be sold to other eager gamers that just cannot afford to buy the game at full retail price.

I think this is an excellent incentive from Best Buy Canada and a very good trade-in value. These days, you are lucky to get $20 back for fairly new games from the trade-in stores. While it would make most sense just to sell the titles privately, some people just do not have the time to dedicate to privately selling.

This offer is available in store only and is only available for a couple more days. Then the games will go back down to their regular trade-in value (whatever that might be). I am a bit disappointed that PS3 titles are not included in this offer. I would LOVE to trade in a few PS3 titles for some store credit, but i guess they have had their day.

You can spend the gift card on anything Best Buy has to offer!

(PS4) Tomb Raider Definitive Edition Only $20 @ Best Buy / Future Shop (+ Shipping or Free Collection)

Posted by on February 7, 2015 at 12:25 PM

(PS4) Tomb Raider Definitive Edition Only $20 @ Best Buy / Future Shop (+ Shipping or Free Collection)

Here’s a deal on the Playstation 4 version of Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, a popular video game of recent days. For a mere $19.99, you can buy the game from either sister site, Future Shop or Best Buy Canada.

Price Comparison

While the “was” price on Best Buy and Future Shop says $29.99, this video game is actually being sold at varied prices all over the Canadian interwebs. For example, it’s $31.96 @ Walmart, $29.99 @ London Drugs, Archambault and $28.90 @ Amazon. The BB/FS price is the best I can see anywhere online and I’ve only ever seen this low a price point in the Boxing Day sales.

Shipping / Collection

If you want to only pay $19.99, then you can actually order this item online and collect at your local store for free. However, if you’d prefer it to be shipped to you, then shipping would cost extra if you buy this game on its own. I’d highly recommend making your order up to the $25 mark to get totally free shipping to your home.

Reviews

If you want to read some reviews before buying the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition for your PS4, I spotted one such review here on Canada.com. The reviewers opening line was,

It’s hard to deny Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is a great looking game.

From the screenshots shown in that review, I’d agree. The images look superbly clear and crisp. The launch trailer is here if you’d like to view it too:

Over on Metacritic, this edition gets a Metascore of 85%, that’s very high. The user score is slightly lower though, coming in at 78%. But overall, this looks like a good game to try out if you are a fan of Lara Croft.

(PS4) Tomb Raider Definitive Edition Only $20 @ Best Buy / Future Shop (+ Shipping or Free Collection)

Lara Fun

The above image shows you the evolution of Lara Croft, from release to the present day. Lara finally wears pants again!! It’s funny to see all her characters over this time period. I dressed up as Lara Croft for Halloween about 10 years ago… and I’ll admit, I looked hawt! The style I went for was the Angelina Jolie style from the Tomb Raider movie, so it was more of a black outfit than her signature green t-shirt. In order to improve the appearance, I had a few pairs of socks stuffed down my bra… that worked well to finish off the outfit!

Amazon Canada: Free Game ($70 Value) with PS4 Bundle Purchase

Posted by on February 5, 2015 at 6:30 PM

Amazon Canada: Free Game ($70 Value) with PS4 Bundle Purchase

Amazon Canada is offering a free game worth up to $69.99 with the purchase of select PlayStation 4 Bundles.

The console must be purchased from Amazon Canada (not secondary marketplace sellers). The game will be in the form of a code that you can redeem at http://redeem.us.playstation.com . Expect the code to be emailed out to you within two days of your completed shipment. The following consoles qualify for this deal:

The Destiny Ps4 bundle is no longer available from Amazon Canada. However, if you have your heart set on that bundle, then watch the link to see if Amazon brings some in. Now, for your free game you have a choice between four titles:

  • Destiny
  • NBA 2K15
  • Far Cry 4
  • Little Big Planet 3

I looked at what these games are retailing for right now to give you a good idea as to the true ‘value’ of this deal. Destiny costs $44.99, NBA 2K15 costs $60.53, Far Cry 4 costs $42.44, and Little Big Planet 3 costs $46.99 for the PS4 editions. While it appears that NBA 2K15 is the best choice, it will all depend upon which bundle you purchase and which games you already own. You will not want to choose Little Big Planet 3 if you are going to get the bundle that already includes that game.

While this may not seem like a huge deal, the game is worth approximately 10%, if not a bit more, of the price you are paying for the PS4. Thus, I think it is a nice bonus given the PS4 console is still new.

The offer limited to one per customer and account. There is no expiry date so you should see this “Get a Select Bonus Game with PS4 Purchase” under special offers and promotions. If that is missing, then the promotion is over.

I am quite curious as to how many of our lovely Moosers have already upgraded to the PS4 and what you think of it so far. I only have a PS3, and I am quite attached to it since I have opened it up twice to fix it – successfully I might add! I do not think I play enough console games to warrant a new console, especially since I can play most the current games on my old console anyway. However, I would like to know what you think so comment below!

Amazon Canada: 20% Off PS4 & XBox One Games TODAY (EXPIRED)

Posted by on December 11, 2014 at 12:15 PM

Amazon Canada: 20% Off PS4 & XBox One Games TODAY (EXPIRED)New games are on so many wish lists this year. If you missed on on the last sale Amazon had on new console games, then take advantage of their new 20% off deal when you purchase two or more select Ps4 and Xbox One games. This offer ends tonight!

This offer should work on all the games through the above link as the link directly connects to the promotion. The offer is only valid on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. Only games sold directly from Amazon (not secondary sellers) are eligible for the promotion. You will not see the discount in your cart, but it will be shown on your order total before you complete checkout. See below as an example:

Amazon Canada: 20% Off PS4 & XBox One Games TODAY (EXPIRED)

You can order more than two games, but you must order a minimum of two for the promotion to work.

As console games are terribly expensive, you can understand why this promotion is so lucrative. In my demo cart I used Little Big Planet 3 – PlayStation 4 Day One Edition at $69.95 and Halo: The Master Chief Collection – Xbox One at $69. However, there are many other popular games you can choose from in this offer.

A few titles sparked my interest. The Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor – Xbox One looks really cool. I really love the Lord of the Rings and The hobbit movies so anything set in that world really perks my interest. In addition, one reviewer said that:

The nemesis system really give a different personality to each of your enemy, so you don’t feel like you are bashing through generic enemy without personality. Each time you face an Uruk, he will remember what you did and it will impact on it’s motivation and personality. Each enemy is unique and you will never meet him again in another game neither will you hear the same line of dialogue

That sounds pretty awesome. I have played quite a few games and repeat dialogue and ‘bashing through enemies’ gets pretty boring after a while I LOVE the sound of that system.

I also think that Just Dance 2015 – PS4 Standard Edition looks pretty cool as well but it is getting mixed reviews. Evidently, Ubisoft is really pushing their downloadable content. I think dance games are a lot of fun (hello dance-dance revolution, which I SUCK at!).

Receive free shipping on orders of $25 or more.

Free PS4 Game + Other Freebies & Discounts @ PlayStation Store Right Now!

Free PS4 Game + Other Freebies & Discounts @ PlayStation Store Right Now!

Sony’s PlayStation Experience has been ongoing all day today in Las Vegas after announcing that a couple of games and special discounts would be going live this afternoon, it looks like they have made good on their promise! This week-end only, you can get 3 free games (one for each PlayStation platform), along with a couple of select discounts. Keep reading to find out more.

Although only available on select PlayStation platforms, here’s a list of the freebies that you can score as of right now:

  • PS4: Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare
  • PS3: Mirror’s Edge
  • PS Vita: Need for Speed Most Wanted

Only available for the PlayStation 4, you can also score the following game rebates:

  • Grand Theft Auto V & free Bull shark cash card for just $69.99
  • The Last of Us Remastered just $38.49
  • Dying Light Ultimate Edition: was $79.99/ now $71.99

Keep in mind that you might need to sign into your PlayStation account in order to view these freebies and deals.

I have to admit that Plants vs Zombies isn’t a game that I would normally ever even consider buying but since it’s free, I’ll definitely be giving it a whirl. This game is usually priced at $39.99. It looks like the perfect lazy week-end game to play, especially since GameSpot has given it a good rating of 7/10.

However, if you’re looking for something with more of a story, then The Last of Us Remastered is definitely worth its current discounted price tag. At Best Buy, The Last of Us Remastered is currently 54.99. I haven’t played it myself as I’m not the biggest zombie fan, but I have had to endure my hubby playing it and on top of stunning graphics, the story is well worth exploring as well.

Hurry to download these because although they are supposed to be available during this week-end only, you simply never know when they might expire. Even if you don’t plan on playing any of these game this week-end, just download them real quick to have them when you do have time to play.

Just Dance 2015 (PS4 & Xbox One) $25 & Free Shipping @ Walmart.ca! (EXPIRED)

Posted by on December 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM

Just Dance 2015 (PS4 & Xbox One) $25 & Free Shipping @ Walmart.ca! (EXPIRED)

Here’s a deal for those of you with either an Xbox One or a Playstation 4. Perhaps you picked up a bargain in the recent Black Friday sales and you’re looking to expand your video game collection… or maybe you are on the lookout for video game deals for Christmas. Walmart.ca has reduced the price of Just Dance 2015 for either console – right now, you can get this game for only $24.94 with free shipping!.

As has been the case with all Walmart online sales lately, we don’t know how many they have in stock or how long this deal will last. If you’re even interested a tiny little bit… buy now, think later.

Price comparison of Just Dance PS4: $50 @ Amazon, Future Shop, The Source, Archambault.

Price comparison of Just Dance Xbox One: $35 @ Toys R Us, $50 @ Best Buy, Amazon, Microsoft, The Source, Archambault, Staples.

As you can see, the Walmart price seems to be the best online in Canada – sweet deal.

Note that the PS3 version is also on sale @ Walmart for the same price, but you can pick that title up at that price from a couple of other stores too, such as Amazon and Toys R Us. The best deal is on the PS4 and Xbox One versions, as they are much cheaper than the competition, as shown above.

Just Dance 2015 gets a rating of 71 on Metacritic, my go-to site when I want to see ratings of recent video games. They say:

Let loose with friends and family by dancing to hit songs like “Happy” by Pharrell Williams and “Burn” by Ellie Goulding.

Do you remember when Just Dance launched back in 2009? I am not sure if it was the launch that coincided with an app being released, but I DO remember a Just Dance Autodance app which went viral. Me and my sisters used the app to record some funny dancing videos, after we’d imbibed a few cocktails to loosen the inhibitions. The little videos were really great, and ended up on our Facebooks, of course. Do you remember the Autodance app?

Shop.ca: Knack For The Sony PS4 | Was $40 Now $20

Shop.ca: Knack For The Sony PS4 | Was $40 Now $20

I hope you’re all enjoying your morning so far, my fellow Bargainmoosers! Your day just might get even better after checking out today’s deal at Shop.ca – you can now pick up a copy of Knack for the Sony PS4 video game system for only $19.99! This game typically sells for $39.99, so this is quite a bargain! Best of all, you`ll also get free shipping with your order at Shop.ca!

Knack for the PS4 is an early title for the system, but it’s a game that every Sony PS4 owner should try out. It’s creative, it’s fun, and it allows you to play as a unique character. It has plenty of positive reviews, and is a lot of fun, too. I tried out this game at a Best Buy location near my home, and it certainly got my attention! When I get a PS4 system (likely next year), I plan to get Knack as well. It’s just a cool game.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! With snow flurries, cold weather, and an abundance of holiday decorations littering retail stores, you can’t help but get a little excited if you’re a fan of Christmas. After all, surprising the people that you love with thoughtful gifts is always a fun thing to do, and it’s definitely one of my guilty pleasures. If you want to surprise someone with this game, make sure that they own a PS4 system!

If you wanted to buy Knack for the PS4 at WalMart, it would cost you $39.83. Listed below is a snippet review of this game from a satisfied gamer that posted this on Metacritic:

I have not put another game since I started. Knack reminds me of games of my youth (I’m 41 years old).

Happy gaming, my fellow Bargainmoosers! Here’s to a great weekend that’s filled with good times, great memories, and lots of fantastic deals!

Two PlayStation PS4 Dualshock 4 Controllers for $30 Each @ Shop.ca (EXPIRED)

Posted by on November 28, 2014 at 12:16 PM

Two PlayStation PS4 Dualshock 4 Controllers for $30 Each @ Shop.ca (EXPIRED)

This deal takes a little explaining so bear with me lovely folks. Right now Shop.ca has PlayStation PS4 Dualshock 4 Controllers on sale for $39.99 each for Black Friday, down from $64.99. Sign up for a new unique $20 off $50 coupon code right here, and then use the code on a purchase of two controllers. Two controllers = $79.98 and then you get $20 off, which comes down to $59.98 for both controllers. Divide that by two and you are paying just $29.99 per controller!

Honestly, there are two ways to use this deal. If you want two PS4 controllers than your best deal is to get both of them and use the coupon code. However, if you are just in the market for one – you could just add $10.01 to your cart of other stuff and then add on the $20 off $50 coupon code on top. Either way you will be getting the best deal you can find on these controllers right now.

Here is what they are selling for at other retailers:

  • $39.99 @ The Source
  • $39.99 @ Best Buy
  • $39.99 @ Future Shop
  • $39 @ Walmart (OOS)

As you can easily see, purchasing two from Shop.ca and using the above unique coupon code promotion will make this controller the cheapest you can find this Black Friday. The only downside is that this offer is only available for the black; the other colours are still full price.

I would totally buy both the controllers if I owned a PS4 because you can never have enough controllers. Are you having friends over for games night? You need an extra controller or two. When my friend Lee comes over to play, suddenly the two controllers we have for the PS3 are not quite enough. It would be nice to get a third controller.

If you are still looking for a fantastic deal on a new console, look no further than Anna’s Black Friday Console Gaming Deals Roundup! There you can find a summary of the best console deals around and get your hands on a new PS4 or Xbox One.

You will also receive free shipping on any order at Shop.ca.

Black Friday Console Gaming Deals Roundup!

Black Friday Console Gaming Deals Roundup!

From all the Black Friday flyers and deals at the various Canadian stores across the internet, I’ve noticed that there are quite a few sweet deals on consoles and gaming bundles with the PS4 and Xbox One, with some top tier gaming titles too. If you were considering buying one for Christmas, here’s a breakdown of a few of the best deals for your buck.

ONLINE: Xbox One console & Free Game – $349.99

If you just want the basic console, no bells and whistles, then consider this deal at The Microsoft Store. You can buy the Xbox One console on its own for only $349.99 with free shipping. PLUS you can then choose a free game as well, with choices such as Titanfall and Forza 5.

ONLINE: Xbox One 500GB Assassin’s Creed Unity Bundle with Kinect - $449.99

This is a super deal from Best Buy Canada! For $450, you’re getting a 500GB Xbox One console, Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, plus your choice of one more game up to a value of $69.99. Just add that game to your cart and it will be automatically discounted.

ONLINE: PS4 500GB GTA V & The Last Of Us Remastered Bundle – $449.99

You can pick this one up from either Walmart or FutureShop, whoever you prefer. They’ve matched each other’s prices on this deal. In this bundle, you will get a 500GB PS4, Grand Theft Auto V, and The Last of Us Remastered, all for $449.99 and free shipping.

ONLINE: PS4 500GB GTA:V HARDWARE BUNDLE – $449.99

Here’s a great bargain from The Source. For only $449.99 with free shipping, you will get the 500GB PS4 console, The Last of Us Remastered, GTA V, a DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller, a wired headset, an HDMI cable, a power cable and USB charging cable.

ONLINE: PS4 The Last of Us Remastered Bundle & Free $75 account credit – $449.89

This deal from Amazon.ca may not last much longer, as it is one of the lightning Black Friday deals. For $449.89, you will get a 500GB PS4, The Last Of Us Remastered, and $75 credit to spend on Amazon.ca. If you prefer to have the account credit to spend on games of your choice rather than being stuck to a set game in one of the bundles above, then this would be a good choice.

Our old Bargainmoose author Shawn says:

Assassin’s Creed 4 and 5 as well as GTAV and The Last of us are absolute top of the line.

He’s right! Usually in gaming bundles, you get some crappy little titles… but these are excellent games in the bundles. Are you buying one?
