Best Buy Canada: Buy 3 Select PS4 Titles And Get 25% Off Each Game

Best Buy Canada: Buy 3 Select PS4 Titles And Get 25% Off Each Game

Calling all PS4 gamers! Best Buy is currently having a decent deal for those that are looking to augment their Sony PS4 video game collection – when you purchase at least 3 select PS4 games, you’ll get 25% off of each game! That’s a sweet deal for those that are doing their Christmas shopping now – after all, if you’re planning to buy some of these games anyways, why not take advantage of these savings? You’ll also qualify for free shipping with your order.

There are quite a few PS4 games that you can choose from for this deal, including many titles that were recently released! Most of the titles that qualify for this deal are at least $40 (except for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, Rayman Legends, and Trials Fusion, which are $29.99 each). Some of the titles that you can save on with this deal include the recently released and highly popular Destiny ($52.49 - was $69.99), EA Sports UFC ($52.49 - was $69.99), NHL 2015 ($52.49 - was $69.99), Diablo III ($41.24 - was $54.99), and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn ($33.74 - was $44.99). If the game is at least $40, it will qualify for this deal. Remember that you have to purchase at least 3 of these PS4 games to qualify for this deal – if you did, you’ll see the amount that you’re saving in your shopping cart.

I don’t have a PS4 system yet, but it looks like there’s plenty of great games that are currently out. From classic sports titles like FIFA 2015 to the latest popular titles like Destiny, the PS4 is definitely picking up some steam!

If you were to purchase these titles anywhere else, you’d be paying the regular retail prices that Best Buy usually charges – for example, Destiny was just released about a month ago, and it’s more than $69 everywhere (it’s $69.99 at Future Shop, and $69.96 at WalMart). I’ve listed a brief review of Destiny for the PS4 from a satisfied Future Shop customer below:

Since I received my copy of Destiny for PS4 I have not been able to stop playing it. It puts Titanfall to shame!

This deal may not last for long, so check it out while it’s still valid! Happy gaming, my fellow Bargainmoosers!

Select Games Starting From $1.50 @ Sony PlayStation Network Flash Sale

Posted by on October 17, 2014 at 10:00 PM

Select Games Starting From $1.50 @ Sony PlayStation Network Flash Sale

Fancy yourself a gamer? Grab a couple of games starting at $1.50 at Sony’s PlayStation Network right now! Keep in mind that while you will be able to see the Flash Sale, you will need to sign into your PSN account in order to descriptions and actually make a purchase.

The cheapest game you can get is Resident Evil 3: Nemesis for $1.49. Rekeased in 2009, it’s playable on PS3, PSP and PS Vita and it actually boasts a near perfect score on IGN and is labelled as one of their Editors’ Choice games. It’s even 8.8/10 on GameSpot! In fact, here’s a snippit from James Mielke’s review:

While it may seem as if Resident Evil fans are getting shortchanged on this one, it really isn’t the case. Judged on its own merits, Resident Evil 3 is a truly outstanding game. Unlike other series (Street Fighter, Tomb Raider) that offer incremental “improvements,” the RE lineup continues to refine an already excellent premise. This is a series with legs, and each new chapter does nothing to diminish it.

Listed from lowest to highest priced, here’s a short list of the other games you can get during PSN’s Flash Sale:

  • Mirror’s Edge: $2.25
  • BloodRayne – Betrayal: $2.49
  • Mortal Kombat: $2.49
  • Knytt Underground: $2.49
  • Sacra Terra – Kiss of Death: $2.99
  • Sanctum 2: $3.49
  • Beyond Good and Evil: $3.49
  • Giana Sisters – Twisted Dreams: $3.49
  • Portal 2: $4.99
  • Resident Evil Code – Veronica X: $5.99
  • Battle Princess of Arcadia: $7.49
  • Remember Me: $11.99

A game you should definitely consider getting is Portal 2. Only playable on PS3, it’s an absolutely incredible game that will have you hooked within the first couple of minutes. Essentially a puzzle game, the goal is to create puzzles in order to escape the chambers that you are trapped inside. Each “level” gets progressively harder as you advance through the game and even cooler is that you can either play it solo or with someone else.

In fact, you can also rent the first and second volumes of Kill Bill for $3.99 each in SD (or $4.99 in HD). I have to admit that I totally thought it was a game version of the popular movie but as it turns out, it’s the movie itself! So if you want to re-watch (or perhaps even watch for the first time), this two-part phenomenal movie, then here’s your chance!

Game Access Canada: Call Of Duty: Ghosts For The Sony PS4 (Used) | Was $60 Now $20 (EXPIRED)

Posted by on October 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM

Game Access Canada: Call Of Duty: Ghosts For The Sony PS4 (Used) | Was $60 Now $20 (EXPIRED)

PS4 owners should check out Game Access’ deal of the day today – it’s for a used copy of Call Of Duty: Ghosts. Normally $59.99, you can now get this PS4 game for just $19.72 (plus $3 shipping). If you just got a Sony PS4 system and want to pick up an affordable game that’s fun to play and has an addicting online multiplayer mode, then you should definitely check out this deal!

The PS4 version of Call Of Duty: Ghosts has some incredible graphics, and is exactly what you’d expect from the Call Of Duty series: Easy-to-control gameplay, an intense online multiplayer mode, and an abundance of fun.

When I see games like Call Of Duty, it harkens me back to the days when I played the early first-person-shooter games like Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Quake, and Duke Nukem 3D. Oh Duke Nukem – the 12-year-old me loved your profane yet hilarious one-liners and references to They Live (starring Roddy Piper – yeah, that Roddy Piper).

The first-person-shooter genre was so revolutionary for its time. I remember getting a Sega 32X (an attachment for the Sega Genesis that allowed you to play a small selection of powerful-for-its-time 32-bit games) just so I can play Doom on a home console. Nowadays, these FPS games are much more advanced, and have plenty of extra features (and they look A LOT better), but they still retain that simplistic yet fun gameplay where you “kill or be killed”.

Call Of Duty: Ghosts for the PS4 currently costs $49.99 at Best Buy and Future Shop. I’ve included a brief review of this game from a satisfied Best Buy customer below:

I love this game! Fantastic graphics, smooth controls, a pretty good storyline, and lots of play variety: stealth, action, in the jungle, in the city, in buildings, rappelling down a building, on water, in water, underwater, on ice, in space, in a tank, in a helicopter, lots of weapons and lots more! Highly recommended.

This deal expires tomorrow, so check it out now! Happy gaming, Bargainmoosers!

Game Access Canada: inFamous Second Son For The Sony PS4 (Used) | Was $70 Now $20 (EXPIRED)

Game Access Canada: inFamous Second Son For The Sony PS4 (Used) | Was $70 Now $20 (EXPIRED)

Good morning, my fellow gamers! Today’s daily deal at Game Access is for a used copy of inFamous Second Son for the Sony PS4 system – usually retailing for $69.99, you can now get this game for just $19.72 (plus $3 shipping).

A PS4 exclusive, inFamous Second Son has an interesting plot where humans hunt down any superhumans that they can find. With an open world to explore, it’s easy to see why this game is very popular with PS4 owners!

I have yet to try out this game for the PS4 (I don’t own a PS4 video game system yet – the newest system I have is the Wii U). It does look like it would be a lot of fun to play. Plus, the graphics are so incredibly detailed – this is one of the perks of playing a game on a next-generation console.

When it comes to games on the next-gen systems, I’m sure that the best is yet to come! After all, PS4 and Xbox One systems are barely a year old right now, so there are still plenty other gems that will be released within the next year.

If you were to purchase this game at WalMart or Amazon, it would cost you $39.96. I’ve listed a snippet of a review of inFamous Second Son for the PS4 from a satisfied Game Access customer below:

Amazing game to play, like The Last Of Us and Red Dead Redemption it is not a game you want to miss. It has amazing visuals, very fluent gameplay, the controls felt polished, your movements are fine tuned, and the story line itself was very good (typical good vs evil). The only real downside to this game is the fact that it is very short.

If you’re looking for a new adventure to play on your PS4 system, then you should consider picking up this game. Happy gaming, Bargainmoosers!

Game Access Canada: Need For Speed Rivals For The Sony PS4 (Used) | Was $50 Now $20 (EXPIRED)

Posted by on October 7, 2014 at 10:00 AM

Game Access Canada: Need For Speed Rivals For The Sony PS4 (Used) | Was $50 Now $20 (EXPIRED)

Game Access is providing gamers with another great deal! Today’s daily deal is for a used copy of Need For Speed Rivals for the Sony Playstation 4 system, which you can now get for $19.72 (plus $3 shipping). The regular price of this popular racing game is $49.99, so you’re saving $30.27 with this deal!

If you’re looking for high speed chases and racing thrills, then this is the right game for you. The Need For Speed series has been loved by video game fans since it first appeared on PCs back in 1995. Technically, it was on an obscure video game system known as the Panasonic 3DO at first in 1994 (Electronic Arts, the company behind this popular series, were one of the biggest supporters of this failed system). I actually had a 3D0 system back when I was 12 (it was only $50 at Microplay… plus, I wasn’t allowed to get a Playstation or N64 at the time).

I previously wrote about the PS3 version of this game, but this PS4 version of Need For Speed Rivals provides players with a truly breathtaking experience, thanks to the next-gen visuals in the game. The graphics are simply gorgeous! Even though the PS4 has barely scratched the surface in terms of its graphics capabilities, Need For Speed Rivals really shines on this console.

If you wanted to purchase Need For Speed Rivals for the PS4 at Best Buy, it would cost you $49.99, while a used copy at Future Shop is $39.99. I’ve included a snippet of a review of this game from a satisfied Game Access customer below:

This game is beautiful. The opening cinematics, the beads of water on your car, the environment, it’s a pleasure to look at and does a good job of showing off some of the PS4′s power, considering it’s a release game.

This deal will expire tomorrow. Happy gaming, Bargainmoosers!

Game Access Canada: The Amazing Spider-Man 2 For The PS4 (Used) | Was $60 Now $20 (EXPIRED)

Game Access Canada: The Amazing Spider Man 2 For The PS4 (Used) | Was $60 Now $20 (EXPIRED)

My Spidey Senses are tingling! That’s right, Peter Parker – Game Access is having a sweet deal on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 for the Sony PS4! You can score a used copy of this game featuring Marvel’s famous web-slinging hero for only $19.72 (plus $3 shipping). The regular price of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 for the PS4 is $59.99, so this is a great bargain! This deal is only valid today, so take advantage of it while it’s still available!

Based on the recently released movie, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 for the Sony PS4 video game system allows you to sling web and swing around town as Peter Parker’s alter-ego, Spider-Man!

The first Spider-Man video game I ever played was for the Nintendo Game Boy (no, not the Game Boy Color – the original, fat, brick-like system). It was mediocre at best, but there weren’t many other video games at the time that allowed you to play as Marvel’s ultimate web-slinger. I know there was a Spider-Man game for the Atari 2600 system, but I just didn’t have one at the time (and I’m sure it was much worse than the Game Boy game).

Eventually, I played Maximum Carnage for the Super Nintendo, a beat-em-up game that allowed you to play as Spider-Man or Venom that was similar to games like Final Fight, Streets Of Rage, and Double Dragon. It was a ton of fun, and I still occasionally play it to this day!

If you were to purchase this game at Best Buy or Future Shop, it would cost you $64.99. I’ve included a brief review of this game from a Game Access customer below:

This game is extremely fun, although there is pretty constant issues with the camera, this really only affects the battles, some of the time. The web swinging ability is what makes this game so fun for me, you really feel like Spider-man as you are leaping between buildings.

This deal expires on October the 7th. Happy gaming, Bargainmoosers!

Future Shop Canada: PS4 500GB The Last of Us Remastered And inFAMOUS: Second Son Bundle | Was $520 Now $450

Posted by on October 5, 2014 at 9:59 AM

Future Shop Canada: PS4 500GB The Last of Us Remastered And inFAMOUS: Second Son Bundle | Was $520 Now $450

Gaming fans, brace yourself for another enticing deal for a Sony Playstation 4 system! At Future Shop, you can get a PlayStation 4 500GB The Last of Us Remastered & inFAMOUS: Second Son Bundle for $449.99! It normally costs $519.99, so this is a great deal for those that were planning to get a PS4 system. You’ll also qualify for free shipping!

This PS4 system bundle includes a 500GB Playstation 4 system, The Last Of Us Remastered (click here to see what I had to say about this fantastic critically acclaimed game), and inFAMOUS: Second Son. That’s 2 great games that you’ll be getting with your PS4 system!

The Sony PS4 system certainly has some interesting games that will be coming out in the future, including Kingdom Hearts 3 (a game that both Disney and RPG fans would especially enjoy). Now that we’re creeping closer towards the holiday season, you’ll likely see a PS4 system on many people’s “most wanted” lists (both children and adults).

If I were to choose between the Xbox One and the PS4 at this time, I think the PS4 would win my affection first. I think there’s just more games that captivate me for the PS4 right now, but I’m still going to wait until it has an even bigger game library available (and who knows? Perhaps the Xbox One will have some fantastic games out by then).

You can normally get the PS4 Last Of Us Bundle for $449.99 at Best Buy. What makes this deal particularly enticing is the fact that it essentially includes inFAMOUS: Second Son for free! You’re paying the same amount that you normally would for the PS4 Last Of Us Bundle, but you’re getting a free game with it.

Listed below is a brief review of inFAMOUS: Second Son from a satisfied Future Shop customer:

This game is a must buy on PS4 definitely the best game I played on PS4 so far. The graphics are great and the game itself is really fun and challenging to play.

This deal will be in effect until October the 9th. I hope you all enjoy your day, my fellow Bargainmoosers!

Best Buy Canada: The Last Of Us Remastered For The Sony PS4 | Was $55 Now $30

Best Buy Canada: The Last Of Us Remastered For The Sony PS4 | Was $55 Now $30

It’s a great week for gamers. Not only is Super Smash Bros out for the Nintendo 3DS, but there are some decent sales cropping up for other great games. Such is the case with this sale for The Last Of Us Remastered at Best Buy this week – this critically acclaimed Sony PS4 game regularly costs $54.99, but you can now purchase it for $29.99! You’ll also qualify for free shipping with your order!

I’ve talked about the original PS3 version of The Last Of Us before. I own it, and it’s a fantastic game that’s exceeded all expectations. In fact, notable video game review site IGN gave it a 10 out of 10 rating. It’s definitely one of the best games ever released for the system! Both critics and video game fans love this masterpiece, which is why Sony decided to release a slightly upgraded version of the game for their new PS4 system, which is known as The Last Of Us Remastered.

Sony recently started to bundle their PS4 systems with this game. It’s safe to say that even upper management at Sony hold this game in high regard!

If you’ve been waiting for the perfect adventure to dedicate your free time to, then The Last Of Us Remastered should certainly be considered. This deal at Best Buy has it for the lowest price I’ve ever seen so far, so I highly recommend that you take advantage of this deal while it’s still available. If you were to purchase this game at WalMart, it would cost you $54.96, and it’s $54.99 at EB Games.

I’ve included a brief review from a satisfied Best Buy customer below:

IGN named it the best PS3 and PS4 game ever made. It lives up to its reputation

This is the perfect game to check out this weekend! Happy gaming, Bargainmoosers!

Game Access Canada: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (Used) For PS4 | Was $40 Now $20 (EXPIRED)

Game Access Canada: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (Used) For PS4 | Was $40 Now $20 (EXPIRED)

Good afternoon, my fellow deal hunters! Today at Game Access, they have a great game that’s had many favourable reviews on sale – that game is LEGO Marvel Super Heroes for the Sony PS4 system, and you can get a used copy of it for just $19.72 (plus $3 shipping)! It normally retails for $39.99, so this is a nice deal for both LEGO and Marvel fans.

The PS4 version of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is well regarded by both gamers and reviewers alike. On Metacritic, it has an overall score of 83 out of 100, which shows that this is a game that’s fun, well made, and worth the money.

I’ve played the Nintendo 3DS version of this game, and while it doesn’t have the stunning, crisp visuals that the PS4 version has, it’s more fun than you’d think! I mean, you get to play as The Avengers, and smash your enemies up into itty bitty LEGO bits! It’s an experience that needs to be seen to be believed. You can’t go wrong with a game that allows you to play as The Hulk!

At Future Shop and Best Buy, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes usually retails for $39.99. I’ve included a review from a satisfied Future Shop customer below:

There are not too many games worth the price tag, but this is one that is. Lots of action, humour and collectibles. I platinumed mine in just under 60hours of game play. Well worth it and highly recommended.

If you’re looking for an enjoyable gaming experience on your PS4, then you should consider purchasing LEGO Marvel Super Heroes today. Happy gaming, Bargainmoosers!

MTC Clearance: Sony PS4 System And Vita Play Well Combo (Refurbished) | Was $650 Now $450

Posted by on September 25, 2014 at 8:38 AM

MTC Clearance: Sony PS4 System And Vita Play Well Combo (Refurbished) | Was $650 Now $450

This would be the ultimate present for video game lovers! Today’s deal at MTC Clearance will allow you to purchase a refurbished Sony Play Well Combo Set – it comes with a 500GB PS4 system and a PS Vita portable gaming system for just $449.99! The typical price for a new Sony Play Well Combo is $649.99, so you’d be saving $200 on this deal! When I calculated shipping, it came to $9.78 (Fedex 2 day shipping seems to be the standard option), so that should be the shipping price for this package.

The Sony Playstation 500GB PS4 & OLED Vita Play Well Combo comes with a 90 day MTC warranty, so no manufacturer warranty is included with this refurbished package.

I know that I’ve been on the fence regarding the purchase of a Sony PS4 system, but the Vita portable system is also pretty enticing. I know that I’ve got plenty of Nintendo 3DS games to play at the moment, and there aren’t too many Vita games that are luring me towards purchasing one, but it is quite the powerful little system.

The Vita is a great media player, and it also can link up to your PS3 and PS4 system. There are many cool things that you can do with this portable system, and in this package, you’ll be able to enjoy both the PS4 game console and the Vita right away! Titles that I’d love to try out on the Vita include Little Big Planet, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, and Playstation Battle Royal (actually, if you have the PS3 version of the game, most copies allow you to automatically get a free download of the Vita version).

I haven’t had any luck finding these Sony PS4 And Vita Play Well Combo Sets for sale online, but if you were to purchase a PS4 and a PS Vita separately, it would be $449.99 for a PS4 The Last Of Us Remastered Bundle, and $199.99 for a PS Vita Borderlands 2 Bundle at Best Buy. Even though the PS4 And Vita Play Well Combo doesn’t come with any games and it’s refurbished, you’re still saving $200 from purchasing both systems.

I’ve included a brief review of the PS Vita from Metacritic below:

I love my 3DS, I sincerely do, but there’s no denying that this is a sturdier, sexier machine. What it lacks in gimmicks, it makes up for in features; where it falls down in terms of portability, it raises itself back up with vastly superior controls and an astonishing touch-screen display.

If you want the ultimate gaming package, you should consider getting this deal. Happy gaming, Bargainmoosers!

Game Access Canada: Knack For Sony PS4 (Used) | Was $40 Now $20 (EXPIRED)

Game Access Canada: Knack For Sony PS4 (Used) | Was $40 Now $20 (EXPIRED)

PS4 fans will certainly be intrigued by this deal! For one day only, you can get a used copy of the critically acclaimed Knack video game for the Sony PS4 system at Game Access for just $19.72 (plus $3 shipping). Many gamers raved about this game when the PS4 was released, and if you haven’t tried out Knack yet, you should consider doing so now that it’s less than 20 bucks.

With many gamers loving its gameplay, Knack is certainly a very original game that’s exclusive for the PS4 system. Like all video games, people will have different opinions on whether they like certain titles or not (yes, there are actually people out there that don’t enjoy Super Mario 3D World). Knack may have some detractors, but the general consensus is that it’s a clever game that may remind you of the Ratchet & Clank games on the PS2.

Knack was the first PS4 game that I tried out. It was at a kiosk set up in a Best Buy store, and I ended up playing the game for roughly 10 minutes (which is shocking since I was “in a hurry” when I first stepped into the store). I found the game relaxing to play, and the main character is pretty interesting, too!

Used copies of Knack currently retail for $34.99 at Best Buy and Future Shop, so this deal at Game Access is a great one. I’ve included a snippet of a review of Knack from Metacritic below:

Knack is simply my most played game on my PS4 right now. This game is not supposed to be forcibly played in bulk sessions, but in more bit-sized, easy to chew chunks. If not, this game can become overly frustrating and too challenging.

This deal is only valid today, so if you’re looking for a fun PS4 game to try out, Knack should be able to keep you satisfied. Happy gaming, Bargainmoosers!

Sony Canada: Buy A 4K Television And Get A Free PS4 Last Of Us Bundle

Posted by on September 19, 2014 at 8:00 AM

Sony Canada: Buy A 4K Television And Get A Free PS4 Last Of Us Bundle

One of the first things that gamers will do when they get a brand spanking new TV is – you guessed it, they’ll hook up a video game system to it. With today’s deal from Sony, whether you’re a video game fan or not, you’ll be able to do just that! For a limited time, when you purchase a 4K TV from Sony, you’ll also get a free Playstation 4 System with The Last Of Us Remastered! You’ll also qualify for free shipping. If you’re in the market for these newer luxury television sets, it never hurts to get a free PS4 system bundle with it!

4K televisions are the next big thing. They literally have to be seen to be believed! The detail that you can see in the screen of a 4K TV is so intricate, it’s incredible! Even seeing a delicious food dish on a 4K television screen will make your mouth water – the picture is that crisp and clear!

One of the cheapest 4K TVs that you can currently get from The Sony Store is the 49” X850B 4K Ultra HD TV, which is currently on sale for $2099.99 (the regular price is $2299.99). Add in the PS4 Last Of Us bundle (a $449.99 value), and you`d be saving a total of $649.99 – it`s a great bonus for such a big purchase.

I first saw a 4K TV demo at a Best Buy location half a year ago, and it still amazes me. I’m trying my best not to exaggerate, but if you have a chance to see one that’s on display at a retail location like Future Shop or Best Buy, I think you’ll be very impressed with the picture quality on them.

At this time, they’re still pretty pricey, but 4K TVs are still relatively new to the market. At Future Shop, a similar 49 inch Sony 4K TV is currently on sale for $1999.99 ($500 off), while another one is $2129.80 on Amazon. Listed below is a snippet of a review of the 49” X850B 4K Ultra HD TV from a satisfied Sony Store customer:

The colours are bright, motion is smooth, blacks are deep, and I have yet to see an artifact that isn’t the result of Internet streaming. The 4K is very impressive. There isn’t a ton of 4K content out there, but from what I have been able to watch on this unit (a few Netflix shows), this TV handles 4K wonderfully.

For a new and exciting TV experience, perhaps a 4K TV would best suit your needs. If you don`t have the funds for it now, there`s always Boxing Day! Here’s to a great weekend, Bargainmoosers! Happy hunting!

Game Access Canada: Wolfenstein: The New Order For PS4 (Used) Was $70 Now $40 (Expired)

Wolfenstein is one of the most influential 3D video games out there. The first title in its series, Wolfenstein 3D, garnered universal praise when it first appeared on PCs everywhere in 1992. The Wolfenstein series is still going strong, and thanks to today’s daily deal at Game Access, you can get the latest chapter for the PS4 at a great discount! Normally retailing for $69.99, you can get a used copy of Wolfenstein: The New Order from Game Access for $39.72 (plus $3 shipping). If you’re a fan of 3D shooters, then this game should be right up your alley!

In case you’re new to the Wolfenstein series, you play the role of William “B.J.” Blazkowicz, and your main objective is to battle Nazis. That’s pretty much all you need to know about this series of video games!

If you’re looking for a game that you can easily pick up and play when you’re bored, then Wolfenstein: The New Order should be able to keep you satisfied. It’s fun, it’s easy to control, and it’s something new to play on your Sony PS4 system!

I first tried out Wolfenstein 3D for the Super Nintendo system at my best friend’s house. I was amazed by the 3D first – person perspective of the game, and I found it highly addicting! Of course, Doom came out shortly afterwards (created by the same company, ID Software), and that just captivated gamers everywhere.

Currently, used copies of Wolfenstein: The New Order cost $49.99 at Best Buy and Future Shop. I’ve included a brief review from a satisfied Game Access customer below:

My expectations for this game were not high, but this turned out to be a great, fresh title. It has an interesting story, good graphics, old school gameplay (non-rechargeable health, limited ammo) and is very long. I would recommend as a purchase!

Take advantage of this deal while you can, Bargainmoosers! Happy hunting, and I hope you all have a great day!

Future Shop Canada: Skylanders Swap Force Starter Kit (PS4, Xbox One, Wii U) | Was $60 Now $30 (Expired)

Future Shop Canada: Skylanders Swap Force Starter Kit (PS4, Xbox One, Wii U) | Was $60 Now $30 (Expired)

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, or if you do your best to ignore everything related to video games, it’s likely that you’ve heard of Skylanders. These collectable figurines are wildly popular with children, since they’re so unique – after all, these toys are used to play a video game! You simply place the figurine of a character that you want to play as on a portal, and in no time at all you’ll see that toy come to life in the Skylanders video game! At this time, Future Shop is having a decent sale on the PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U versions of the Skylanders Swap Force starter kit (the latest entry in the series) – you can order a starter kit of this game for just $29.99! It typically costs $59.99 for both the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. You’ll also qualify for free shipping if you order this game, so that’s another great bonus!

The Skylanders Swap Force starter kit comes with the game, portal, 3 figurines that you can use in the game, and some trading cards.

Whether you’re a kid or an adult, these Skylanders games are pretty fun. They revolutionized the genre, and they even have an imitator that’s out in the market (The Disney Infinity series of games). The current rumour is that a new Skylanders game is on the horizon, which is why Skylanders Swap Force starter kits are currently on sale at Future Shop. Regardless of that, it’s still a great deal – especially if you’ve never tried out any Skylanders video games before.

I’ve tried out this game at an in -store kiosk before (they have these at many retail locations, including Future Shop, Best Buy, and even Target). It’s very intriguing, and a lot of fun. If you’ve ever wanted your toys to come to life, this is the next best thing! Plus, the character designs are pretty creative for these figurines, so I can see why this series has so many fans.

Skylanders Swap Force typically retails for $59.99, but it’s also on sale at Best Buy for the same price of $29.99 (as we all know, Best Buy and Future Shop tend to share some deals at the same time). However, it currently costs $59.99 at Toys R Us and WalMart. I’ve also included a brief review of Skylanders Swap Force (the Wii U version) from a Future Shop customer below:

The game was really cool, totally different, and they can jump now! Also, another good thing about the new one is the fact that you can still use the old Skylanders.

Quantities are limited, so get these while you can. Hope you all enjoy your Sunday, Bargainmoosers!
