Quick! If you have been wanting to play Destiny, then here’s an absolutely fantastic deal from Amazon.
Right now, Destiny for PS4 is 59% off and can be yours for just $28.99 (expired). If you have a PS3, Xbox 360 or Xbox One, then you can pick it up for 50% off, at $34.99. Everywhere else, this game is priced at $59.99, though Amazon has an original list price of 69.99.
First, I must warn you. In writing about this deal, this game kept changing in price. I initially saw it for $28.99, then after refreshing the page, it went up to $34.99 and when I refreshed again, it went back down to $28.99. Even a $34.99 price tag is worth paying, especially since like I already mentioned, this game is being sold at full price everywhere else, but if this happens to you, then I suggest refreshing the page or viewing it in a different browser. Deleting cookies could potentially help as well.
Once you land on Amazon.ca, you can also try copy/pasting the URL into a new tab or browser as that seemed to solve the price discrepancy for me as well.
There aren’t very many copies left either, so don’t wait as it’s sure to go back up in price very shortly!
Destiny is essentially a first-person shooter game that verges on being an MMORPG as it’s massively-multippayer and features a shared world concept.
A1cross the board, this game has stellar reviews, like this one from Best Buy:
Best game of the year, but I shouldn’t be shocked it was made by Bungie, the best gaming franchise EVER.
Even at Amazon.ca, this game has a total of 3.6/5 stars.
According to numerous other reviewers, this game is highly addicting but do beware of the fact that there is some grinding involved. Okay, according to the countless reviews, there is quite a lot of grinding involved. Many have compared it to World of Warcraft in that regard, so only get this game if you have the time and patience to invest into it!
With regards to shipping, it’s free if you get it on any of the other consoles but for PS4, it’s $4.99 as it ships from Mythical Video Games, an independent retailer.
