These bundles offer a different fully playable characters by the likes of either Nightwing, or Catwoman that come with their own set of unique moves and weapons. Paying full price for these isn’t particularly worth it but considering they’re between $2.80 and $4 for each right now, then it’s definitely better to get them now.

These are all RPG games but if you’re looking for a fighter game, then you could get Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition for either PS3 or PS4 on sale for $12 (reg. $29.99). You will find iconic characters like Batman, Green Lantern, the Flash, Wonder Woman, Superman and the Joker. You can play it with up to two players.

Another fighter game that you can currently get on sale is Mortal Kombat vs. DC  Universe. Originally priced at $19.99, it’s now on sale for just $8 and looks super fun to play. If you have played it before, then keep in mind that online matchmaking is no longer a feature of this game.

For those of you with kids, LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes could be a good one to pick up as well, especially since it’s down to just $8 (reg. $19.99). There is also currently a full game free trial available of this one. So you could give it a whirl before buying it but just make sure to get it before the sale ends to get it at the discounted price.

PlayStation Store Coupon: 10% Off Games & More

Posted by on March 28, 2015 at 9:00 AM

PlayStation Store Coupon: 10% Off Games & More

Receive 10% off PS3, PS4, and more games at the Sony PlayStation Store this weekend. PlayStation has only had one of these coupons before, in recent memory, so they are fairly rare!

Click here to shop the PlayStation Store online now

  • Coupon Code: LQ8ERDQH3A
  • Discount: 10% off
  • Expiry: 30th March 2015 @ noon PST

This coupon can be used on all games including sale titles but excluding pre-orders. We are in Week 4 of the Spring Fever event at PSN. Pick up deals on the God of War franchise, Wrestlemania and more.

I mentioned the free DLC for God of War: Ascension just a few days ago. In that post, I suggested buying the entire God of War: Ascension Ultimate Edition that was $39.99 and is now on sale for $12. After this coupon code, you can actually get this mega pack with the game and the full DLC bundle for just $10.80. All other titles are 40% off their original price.

There are other good deals on as well. I invaded the 50% off games section on the PlayStation Network. While there are a lot of DLCs and game content in the sale, you can find some stand-alone titles. Zen Pinball 2: South Park Pinball (PS4) is on sale for from $4.99 down to $2.49. After coupon code, pay just $2.24 for the title. I could literally waste hours playing pinball. I started playing pinball on an old computer I had that had the game built in (as well as the usual Solitaire, Hearts, and more). I really enjoyed playing the game and have since tried my hands at a real pinball machine.

WWE 2K15 is also on sale for 50% off. Originally $59.99, the game has been discounted to $29.99. After coupon code, pay only $26.99 for this title. I could hardly believe that at this price the game was 50% off. However, I checked out the game on Xbox (same game, different platform) where it retails for $69.99. Much of the Wrestlemania franchise is on sale so check out all the games you can score here.

I am not familiar with many of these titles and I rarely buy games on the Sony PlayStation Network. That is where you come in dear Moosers! Drop us a line with your game suggestions. With an extra 10% off everything, including sale titles, now is a good time to expand your game collection.

I believe all prices are in USD. What titles are you going to buy?

Playstation Store: God of War Ascension Ultimate DLC Bundle PS3 FREE ($20 Value)

Posted by on March 24, 2015 at 4:45 PM

Playstation Store: God of War Ascension Ultimate DLC Bundle PS3 FREE ($20 Value)

The Playstation Store has a huge sale on the God of War franchise. Along with this up to 70% off sale, the PSN is giving away the God of War: Ascension Ultimate DLC Bundle for free. This DLC bundle usually retails for $19.99.

This bundle is for the PS3 version of God of War: Ascension. This bundle adds all add-on DLCs for God of War: Ascension multiplayer mode. The DLC pack also includes 14 sets of armour, 27 weapons, nine capes, and four tattoos. Now, you want to have the original game before you go buying any DLC pack for free as there is a bonus 48-hour 2X XP Boost. This experience boost helps you level up your warrior and get new equipment faster.

Now, say you do not own God of War: Ascension. Well sister, we can change that in a second. The Playstation network also has God of War: Ascension Ultimate Edition, for the PS3, on sale from $39.99 down to $12. If you buy this bundle, there is no need to download the above DLC Bundle. The ultimate edition already includes the entire DLC bundle. It is not worth buying the game as a stand-alone without the DLC Bundle as the game currently retails for $19.99 separately. Either you get just the DLC pack for free or you pick up the ultimate edition for $12. Those are your best deals.

I could not fairly price compare this deal, but I did find the regular God of War: Ascension game on Amazon Canada for $13.99. That is without the DLC Bundle. As the DLC bundle is valued at $20, I think this is a great offer. Of course, it is an amazing offer if you have the game but never bothered to pay extra for any DLCs. You can just download that content for free.

All other titles are on sale for 40% off their original price. Pick up God of War titles for the PS Vista, PSP, and PS3 during this sale.

PS4, PS3 & PS Vita Games Under $1 @ Sony PlayStation Network Flash Sale (EXPIRED)

Posted by on March 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM

PS4, PS3 & PS Vita Games Under $1 @ Sony PlayStation Network Flash Sale (EXPIRED)

Got nothing to do this weekend? Then bust out your PlayStation console and head on over to the PlayStation Network, where you can get plenty of games for under $1… or slightly over.

Okay so the image above isn’t exactly for the faint of heart and I’m kind of cheating in mentioning it but then again, the Sony PlayStation Network cheated as well.

Although, speaking of faint of heart, if you like Cards Against Humanity, did you know that you can now play it online with Cards Against Originality? Make sure to read the blog post I wrote on it a couple of days ago.

There are plenty of deals under $1 to take advantage of but the game in the image above, which is Dead Nation Apocalypse Edition is on sale for $1.65 (reg. $14.99). Forgive me for the $0.65 difference! PS4, PS3 & PS Vita Games Under $1 @ Sony PlayStation Network Flash Sale (EXPIRED)

I’m mentioning it because it’s actually a pretty amazing deal for a game that was originally priced at nearly $15 and is now a whopping 89% off. Plus, any game that is that cheap for the PS4 is definitely pretty awesome, especially considering the fact that Dead Nation has over 38,000 reviews with a total 4/5 stars.

It’s your typical zombie game with the main difference being that the two main characters are, for some unknown reason, immune to the zombie disease despite getting bit and scratched repeatedly. Since it’s a PS4 game, you can expect the gameplay to being stunning, especially as evidenced by this review from PS4 Experts:

Dead Nation: Apocalypse edition is the premier version of Housemarque’s solid arcade shooter. For some, the gameplay may be addictive and unforgettable, while others may find it repetitive and bland. I myself found it to be a mixture of the two and enjoyed my time with it. That being said, the upgraded graphics and included DLC do provide a lot of extra gameplay to delve into. I do also enjoy the support for local co-op.

Games that you can truly get for under $1 include but are not limited to:

  • PS3 – 94% off Tokyo Jungle: reg. $14.99/ now $0.90
  • PS4 – 93% off Surgeon Simulator: reg. $12.99/ now $0.91
  • PS4 – 81% off Home – A Unique Horror Adventure: reg. $4.99/ now $0.95
  • PS3 – 81% off Bejeweled 3: reg. $4.99/ now $0.95
  • PSP/ PS Vita – 81% off Beta Bloc: reg. $4.99/ now $0.95
  • PS3/PSP/PS Vita – 84% off Extreme Pinball: reg. $5.99/ now $0.96
  • PS3 – 63% off Who Wants To Be A Movie Millionaire: reg. $2.99/ now $0.99

Have fun!

PlayStation Network LEGO Games Sale: Up To 75% Off PS4 & PS3 LEGO Games (+ Up To EXTRA 15% Discount For PS Plus Members)

Posted by on March 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM

PlayStation Network LEGO Games Sale: Up To 75% Off PS4 & PS3 LEGO Games (+ Up To EXTRA 15% Discount For PS Plus Members)

The PlayStation Network has currently discounted a total of 20 LEGO games as part of their LEGO Games Sale and there are discounts of up to 75% to be had!

Here’s a sample of some of the game that you can get on sale:

PlayStation Network LEGO Games Sale: Up To 75% Off PS4 & PS3 LEGO Games (+ Up To EXTRA 15% Discount For PS Plus Members)

As you can see, the highest discount is the 75% one on LEGO Harry Potter and LEGO Lord of the Rings for PS3. Both games are down to just $5, from a regular price tag of $19.99. If you’re a fan of any of these franchises, then it’s definitely worth picking up both as you will be into for hours and hours of fun. I haven’t played them myself yet, but I have been told that both games are highly entertaining.

I have to admit that the only LEGO PlayStation game that I have played is actually the Marvel Super Heroes one. At the time, I paid far more than what it’s on sale for and I kind of wish I would have waited for this sale, but oh well! For either PS3 or PS4, you can get it for just $8 instead of $19.99. What I love about this game is that you can choose to play it alone or with one another player. The only downside is that despite boasting an impressive number of characters that you get to try out as you advance through the levels, only a maximum amount of two players can play together. It would be so much cooler if more than four people could play together, but perhaps this is a feature that will be implemented in the near future — fingers crossed!

If you’re a PS Plus member, then you can also save up to an extra 15% on some of these games, most notably the LEGO Marvel Superheroes one.

Perhaps it’s a coincidence, but lately we have been seen quite a number of LEGO deals. Just recently, Avigayil unerathed a cool freebie are LEGO stores countrywide for a free robot with purchase of the monthly mini model build. The 20% discount on select LEGO games at Chapters Indigo that Brooke wrote about last weekend is also still in full swing, so don’t miss it as it’s set to expire on March 8th. Last but not least, don’t forget about LEGO’s free part replacement program in case you lose any pieces from the sets.

PlayStation Network: $15 Credit with $100 Purchase

PlayStation Network: $15 Credit with $100 Purchase

Besides sales, PlayStation Network rarely has any extra deals of any sort. However, this week they are offering $15 credit back when you spend $100 or more at the PSN store.

The deal is simple. Spend $100 using your SEN wallet from now until the 24th of February. Third party application purchases are excluded from this offer. Between February 24th and March 2nd you will receive a coupon code good for one (1) PSN/SEN account to redeem the SEN wallet Top Up via the PlayStation Store worth $15. This promotional code will be emailed out to you. You need to redeem the code for your $15 credit by 31st March 2015.

You can then use the free credit against any future games, movies, music, or anything else that you can use your SEN wallet to pay for on the Sony Network.

The $100 can be spent on both regular and sale priced games from what I can tell. Raid the sale section to maximize your savings while still earning the $15 bonus. The Critics Choice Sale is currently on the PSN. Enjoy 30% off all Dragon Age: Acquisition games for both the PS4 and the PS3.This game has a near perfect 5/5 star rating on the PSN network with over 11,000 voters. One reviewer on Amazon said:

From the stunning visuals, to the very intricate social balance of your ever growing inquisition, to the most intuitive and customizable crafting system in an rpg ive ever seen. Ea fully delivered bringing this series to its full glory and potential on the new consoles, fully utilizing the power with large open expanses and intricate forests and more maps than you can explore.

FIFA 15 is also on sale at a sprightly 40% off for both consoles as well. I love the world of LOTR and The Hobbit so Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Legion Edition looks fantastic. The average rating is a solid 4/5 stars. Receive 40% off both console editions.

The Critics Choice Sale has between 30% and 70% off plenty of sweet games. Some are celebrated indie titles while others are mainstream games you already know. If you spend $100 or more during this sale then you will save up to 70% off the games you want and earn a bonus $15 credit. Together, the Critics Choice Sale and this promotion from Sony Network are really good.

(PS4) Knack Just $10 | Was $40 @ PSN Valentine’s Day Flash Sale (+ Up To 80% Off Other Games)

Posted by on February 14, 2015 at 7:30 PM

(PS4) Knack Just $10 | Was $40 @ PSN Valentines Day Flash Sale (+ Up To 80% Off Other Games)

In celebration of Valentine’s Day, the PlayStation Network has discounted a bunch of games as part of their Flash Sale and until Monday, Knack for PS4 is on sale for just $10 (reg. $39.99).

This is perhaps the lowest price that we have ever seen for Knack. It’s a game that was released at the same time as the PlayStation 4 and features amazing graphics that perfectly showcase the latest console’s capabilities. Reviews are somewhat mixed on this game but if you’re looking for something new to play, then its current price reduction is definitely worth taking advantage. Keep in mind that it’s only a digital copy that is good for one account. If you prefer having a hard copy of the game, then you can pick it up on sale for $20.48 at Amazon right now instead. It’s usually priced at $39.99 and in fact, both Future Shop and Best Buy have it at that price. Here’s what someone had to say about it on Amazon:

The thing I love about the game is the ability of the co op experience. In knack you can have another person join your game at anytime as your sidekick and then run around and bash things together. I think this game is geared toward young kids however having played video games myself since Atari I have to say I love this game.

Not interested in Knack? No worries, there are numerous other games on sale, including some of the PS3 and others for the PS Vita. Here’s an overview of just some of the top games that you can pick up on sale:

  • PS3 Dead of Alive 5: reg. $19.99/ now $4
  • PS4 Divekick: reg. $9.99/ now $4
  • PS4 Dynasty Warriors 8 – Xtreme Legends: reg. $59.99/ now $18
  • PS3 Street Fighter X Tekken: reg. $29.99/ now $7.50
  • PSP Def Jam Fight For New York: reg. $9.99/ now $2
  • PS3 Digimon All-Star Rumble: reg. $39.99/ now $16
  • PS Vita Mortal Kombat – Unchained: reg. $9.99/ now $2.50

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris for the PS4 has also been slashed in price. It’s down to just $8 (reg. $19.99) or $11.60 (reg. $28.99) with the season pass pack. The latter also include a season pass pack, thus explaining the slightly higher price. This game was released in December 2014 and has garnered a general consensus of 7/10 within the online gaming community with positive reviews like this one that was posted on Metacritic:

The best of Lara, whether played on your own, or shared with others.

A couple of movie rentals have also been reduced in price. Belle as well as Men, Women and Children are both down to $4.99, but there are also other movies like Rudderless, Snowpiercer, Sugar and In a World… to name a few.

Playstation Network Coupon: 10% PS Store Discount

Posted by on January 23, 2015 at 3:00 PM

Playstation Network Coupon: 10% PS Store Discount

The Sony PlayStation Network is offering a one-time 10% discount off eligible items for their PSN members this weekend.

Click here to shop @ the PlayStation Network now

  • Coupon Code: JBFHBPJL8H
  • Discount: 10% off
  • Expiry: 26th January 2015 @ 9AM PT

You can only use the coupon code once per account, so make sure you have all the games you want in your cart at once. According to the blog post about this from the Sony network, exclusions include:

subscriptions for PS Plus, Music Unlimited, PS Now and rental video content (update: game preorders are also excluded from this promotion, we apologize for the confusion).

Now, you can order either through your PlayStation or online via the website I linked to above. I have linked directly to all the games that qualify for the extra 10% discount, with many games already on sale.

In the deals section, I found LEGO Marvel Super Heroes priced at $19.99 for the PS4. The website does not say how much it cost originally, but that seems like a very good price. The game is highly rated with a near perfect five start out of five rating. Nearly nine-thousand people cannot be wrong! After coupon code, pick up the game for $17.99.

While I like super-heroes well enough, my heart belongs to a certain dwarf king. The PS4 Lego The Hobbit is currently $29.99, but comes down to $26.99 after coupon. Follow Bilbo as he is recruited by a certain pointy-hat wizard to go on an epic quest for the dwarven king and his mighty band of dwarfs.

On my wish list are a few cheaper games. I want to pick up FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 as it is on sale for just $9.99 right now, and comes down to $8.99 after coupon. I would also like to pick up Tomb Raider: Underworld. Sure, it is an older game, but there is nothing like kicking ass as Laura Crawford. Outside the anime world, she is one of the few female protagonists to head the video game world and make a successful go of it. After discount, purchase the game for $4.49. Both of these games are for the PS3, which suits me fine, as I own one of those.

I cannot actually remember the PSN releasing a flat out coupon code like this before. I suggest checking out the Weekly Deals, 50% off Section, and up to 85% off 2K sale to maximize your savings.

For other amazing coupon codes, visit our forum.

Posted by on December 24, 2014 at 8:30 PM

PlayStation End Of Year Flash Sale: Up To 75% Off Select PS4, PS3 & PS Vita Games

Already bored by the holidays? Then head over to the PlayStation Network because for a couple of days, you can save up to 75% off select games for either the PS3, PS4 or PS Vita.

Once you click over to the PlayStation site, you will see a list of all the games on sale, but here are just some of the top ones:

  • PS3 Assassin’s Creed Rogue: reg. $55.99/ now $44.99
  • PS3 Borderlands – The Prequel: reg. $59.99/ now $34.79
  • PS3 Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Pro Edition: reg. $99.99/ now $79.99
  • PS4/PS3 Destiny: reg. $59.99/ now $44.99
  • PS4 FIFA15: reg. $59.99/ now $35.99
  • PS4 Just Dance 2015: reg. $49.99/ now $37.49
  • PS4 LEGO Batman: reg. $59.99/ now $44.99
  • PS4 NBA 2k15: reg. $59.99/ now $49.79
  • PS3 Risen 3: reg. $49.99/ now $29.99
  • PS4/ PS3 The Evil Within: reg. $59.99/ now $30
  • PS4 The Walking Dead Season 2: reg. $24.99/ now $6.25
  • PS4 The Walking Dead The Complete First Season: reg. $24.99/ now $6.25
  • PS4/ PS3 Watch Dogs: reg. $59.99/ now $44.99

For 75% off, The Walking Dead seasons 1 and 2 for the PS4 stand out from the pack. They were both originally priced at $25 and are now under $10, so if you haven’t yet watched them, then now is your chance to get both for less than you would normally pay for each. Keep in mind that this is the game version and not the TV series. The first season of the game is a 5-part series, where you play as Lee Evertt, a convicted criminal trying to survive in a world plagued by the undead. The second season continues the same story line but this time, you play as Clementine, a young girl.

Above, I featured Borderlands: The Prequel, which is another game worth picking up. It has generated a merascore of 75/100 on Metacritic with reviews like the following:

Exactly what fans of the series wanted in a new instalment — more Borderlands. It keeps everything that made Borderlands 2 great, and adds a few new tricks of its own. It might not be innovative, but it’s damn fun to play. Honestly, isn’t that what really matters?

From there, either head over to the Sony Entertainment Network site to search and buy the game(s) you want or you can also get them directly through your PlayStation.

Amazon Canada: PlayStation Plus 1-Year Membership Now $43.66 (EXPIRED)

Posted by on November 23, 2014 at 9:30 PM

Amazon Canada: PlayStation Plus 1 Year Membership Now $43.66 (EXPIRED)

The PlayStation Plus 1-year membership is just $43.66 at Amazon right now. It was originally priced $49.99.

By taking advantage of this deal now, you will be saving 13%. This is actually the lowest price I have seen the PlayStation Plus 1-year membership go for and with the holidays right around the corner, it’s definitely a great deal to take advantage of, whether you already have any of the systems.

Breaking down the current $43.60 deal, each month comes down to just $3.63. Every month, new games are made available for a free download and once you download them, they’re yours forever! Well, at least until you decide to delete them off your system. Amazon Canada: PlayStation Plus 1 Year Membership Now $43.66 (EXPIRED)

Here’s a snippet from a review on Amazon’s site:

With a PS+ subscription, you get instant access to a bunch of free games*, every month, and steep discounts every week. You don’t need it to play online for the PS3 or Vita, but it’s worth it just for all the stuff that comes with the subscription. You’ll probably find that it pays for itself within a matter of weeks, although your backlog will become an unwieldy mess.

Keep in mind that you need to manually download the free games each month as these won’t automatically be added to your system’s hard drive.

To give you an idea, here’s a list of the games that became free this month (November):

  • PS4: Binding of Isaac Rebirth & Steamworld Dig
  • PS Vita: The Hungy Horde & Escape Plan
  • PS3: Frozen Synapse Prime & Luftrausers

Speaking of which, the 1-year membership can be used on either a PlayStation 4, a PlayStation 4 or a PS Vita. The cool about this is that once you redeem the code on your account, then PS Plus will automatically become available on any other system. This means that if after playing the PS4, you decide you want to play an older game on the PS3, then you can just as easily access the PlayStation Plus network from there as well. In fact, different games for each system are often offered, so it’s a great way to play different free games.

Price comparing, I found that the PlayStation Plus 1-year membership is still regularly priced everywhere else, like at Walmart, Best Buy and Future Shop.

Since Amazon usually offers free shipping to orders over $25, you’re sure to get your 1-year membership card shipped for free as well.

Best Buy Canada: Playstation TV Bundle | Was $140 Now $100

Good morning, my fellow gamers! Today’s deal at Best Buy is for a Playstation TV Bundle, which includes a DUALSHOCK 3 controller, an 8GB memory card, and a voucher that you could use to download The LEGO Movie Videogame. This bundle normally sells for $139.99, but you can now purchase all of this for $99.99! It’s a surprising deal, since the Playstation TV was just released fairly recently! You’ll also qualify for free shipping, which is always a nice bonus!

This Playstation TV Bundle can be a great gift for the holidays. You can play hundreds of games on it, since you could download many PS One and PSP classics. Trust me – Crash Bandicoot: Warped and Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night are still awesome games to play! It’s also compatible with most PS Vita game cards, so you could play your Vita games on the big screen!

It’s also compatible with the new Playstation Now service, so you could stream many great PS3 games with this Playstation TV. Finally, you could also play your PS4 games with this device – all you need is a PS4 controller, and you can wirelessly connect to the PS4 system in your home and play your games on another TV! Now that’s cool, and makes this device great for those that already have a PS4 system.

What makes this device interesting is the ability to download, rent, or stream movies, TV Shows, and music. It’s a versatile product that many people will have their eyes on during the holiday season!

This Playstation TV Bundle was just recently being sold for $139.99 at Best Buy, so you’re saving $40 with today’s deal. It’s also currently being sold at retail locations like Toys R Us for $139.99. Listed below is a snippet of a review of the Playstation TV from a satisfied Best Buy customer:

It’s a complete package for the casual gamer like me.

Happy gaming, Bargainmoosers!

The Source Canada: $30 Off PS4 Controller – Now $40

The Source Canada: $30 Off PS4 Controller Now $40

The Source has a fantastic deal on the PlayStation 4 Dualshock wireless controller. It’s now on sale for just $39.99, which is a $30 discount from its original price of $69.99.

The PlayStation 4 may have been released last year but I guarantee that it will nonetheless be at the top of plenty of Christmas lists this year, so if you anticipate having to get one or are already considering one, then you’re going to want to get an extra remote.

At The Source right now, you can get it in the 3 following colours:

Looks like there is also a blue PS4 controller available at The Source but only in-stores. So if this is the one you want, then I suggest calling your local The Source store to see if they have it in stock before heading out and trying to reserve it. Both Best Buy and Walmart have this remote for $65 (the camo one is $70 at Best Buy) and the cheapest I have seen it anywhere else is $44.98 at Amazon.

I have had the PlayStation 4 console for a couple of months now and it’s definitely well worth the investment, especially in the case of any serious gamer that has yet to get it. Personally, I would totally go for the urban camo one as it’s slightly less conventional from the black and white ones, which are the most common since they are typically released first. When I bought my second remote, even the white one wasn’t yet available!

Despite widespread concerns about battery life, the PS4 controller is much better than the PS3 one has it’s more comfortable to hold and is more precise. The built-in speaker is definitely a nice addition as it enhances game play (though you may want to turn it off if your remote is low on battery) and the touch pad is pretty cool as well.

Shipping is at a flat rate of $5 per order or you can choose to have your order shipped to your local The Source store for free. In any case, $5 is more than likely the price it would cost to drive over to the store anyways, so you might as well save yourself the trouble! The Source Canada: $30 Off PS4 Controller Now $40

Select Games Starting From $1.50 @ Sony PlayStation Network Flash Sale

Select Games Starting From $1.50 @ Sony PlayStation Network Flash Sale

Fancy yourself a gamer? Grab a couple of games starting at $1.50 at Sony’s PlayStation Network right now! Keep in mind that while you will be able to see the Flash Sale, you will need to sign into your PSN account in order to descriptions and actually make a purchase.

The cheapest game you can get is Resident Evil 3: Nemesis for $1.49. Rekeased in 2009, it’s playable on PS3, PSP and PS Vita and it actually boasts a near perfect score on IGN and is labelled as one of their Editors’ Choice games. It’s even 8.8/10 on GameSpot! In fact, here’s a snippit from James Mielke’s review:

While it may seem as if Resident Evil fans are getting shortchanged on this one, it really isn’t the case. Judged on its own merits, Resident Evil 3 is a truly outstanding game. Unlike other series (Street Fighter, Tomb Raider) that offer incremental “improvements,” the RE lineup continues to refine an already excellent premise. This is a series with legs, and each new chapter does nothing to diminish it.

Listed from lowest to highest priced, here’s a short list of the other games you can get during PSN’s Flash Sale:

  • Mirror’s Edge: $2.25
  • BloodRayne – Betrayal: $2.49
  • Mortal Kombat: $2.49
  • Knytt Underground: $2.49
  • Sacra Terra – Kiss of Death: $2.99
  • Sanctum 2: $3.49
  • Beyond Good and Evil: $3.49
  • Giana Sisters – Twisted Dreams: $3.49
  • Portal 2: $4.99
  • Resident Evil Code – Veronica X: $5.99
  • Battle Princess of Arcadia: $7.49
  • Remember Me: $11.99

A game you should definitely consider getting is Portal 2. Only playable on PS3, it’s an absolutely incredible game that will have you hooked within the first couple of minutes. Essentially a puzzle game, the goal is to create puzzles in order to escape the chambers that you are trapped inside. Each “level” gets progressively harder as you advance through the game and even cooler is that you can either play it solo or with someone else.

In fact, you can also rent the first and second volumes of Kill Bill for $3.99 each in SD (or $4.99 in HD). I have to admit that I totally thought it was a game version of the popular movie but as it turns out, it’s the movie itself! So if you want to re-watch (or perhaps even watch for the first time), this two-part phenomenal movie, then here’s your chance!

Destiny was released earlier today on September 9th 2014 and yet overwhelmingly positive reviews have already begun pouring in. Mostly praising the graphics and the beauty of the created world, reviewers have also noted the epicness of the story behind this mega-game. Why mega? Because it’s an action role-playing game that comes very close to being a MMO (massively multiplayer online game) but is instead beginning to be referred to as a shared-world shooter game instead as instead of hordes of players playing on the same servers, as in the case of World of Warcraft, for instance, players are instead matched with other players. This matchmaking does then allow for more interactivity within the game, though definitely not on the same scale as in WoW or SWOTR.

The Destiny eGuide available on Prima Games is definitely pretty cool as it’s beyond detailed. The main topics include the: field manual, the tower, earth, moon, venus, mars, armory, crucible codex, and trophies & achievements. Most of these further divide into subcategories as well. Whether this is a good thing or not is for you to decide but it has also been written in such a way that it will give away no spoilers of the games content. It is also mainly devoted to the PVE (player versus environment) but it does also cover some PVP (player versus player) aspects in the process.

Every facet of the Destiny eGuide is filled with interesting details about the game. In fact, I discovered that the class that you choose for your character will have a massive impact upon the storyline, so choose carefully! Prima Games Freebie: Free Destiny eGuide ($10 Value)

If you haven’t gotten it yet, you can get Destiny for either PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 or Xbox One for just $69 at Amazon.ca (shipping will also be free as most orders over $25 are shipped for free).
