Amazon Canada: Playmobil Cargo & Passenger Aircraft Was $120 | Now $74 & Free Shipping

Playmobil is my life. Well, it seems that way with this house pretty much full of it. This Playmobil cargo and passenger aircraft was actually one of the first things we ever bought from Playmobil. Well, ours is a little bit different, but that was about eight years ago. And eight years later, my kids still play with it and it is still in the same condition as the day we got it. Playmobil doesn’t often go on sale and when it does it is a maximum of 20% off. With this deal, you are getting 40% off. While this set is more than likely going to be discontinued, will your kid really care? Your wallet won’t. Regularly $119.99, it is on sale at Amazon for $73.95.

I don’t know a kid who doesn’t like airplanes. What’s cool about Playmobil’s airplanes is that they are quite large, so they are definitely a major player in the kid’s toys. This one comes with cargo that can be loaded and unloaded, plus a few passengers with luggage. It also has an air traffic control tower with equipment and accessories. We had to buy ours separate, so that’s a nice little bonus. I also like the little traffic controller with his signs.

You don’t have to take my word for it that kids and parents love this set. The reviews on Amazon give it a total of 4.8 stars out of five, with five 5-star reviews and one 4-star review.

Of course, I shopped around for price comparisons and found every other store had it on for full price, like the Playmobil store, Chapters Indigo (out of stock) and Toys R Us. The reviews on those sites are great too.

If you are looking for a birthday present, end of school year gift or want to save this for Christmas, either way, this is a really great deal. Shipping is going to be free as this item is over $25.

Playmobil Pirates Ship Was $100 | Now $39.95 @ Toys R Us Canada

Posted by on March 28, 2015 at 3:25 PM

Playmobil Pirates Ship Was $100 | Now $39.95 @ Toys R Us Canada

Toys R Us Canada is just loaded with great deals right now. Earlier I wrote about discounts available on the Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway toys, but now you can get a hot deal on this Playmobil Pirate Ship too. This Playmobil Pirate Ship was priced at $99.95, but is now 50% off. That brings the price down to $49.95. There is also the coupon code CINEPLEXHOLIDAY that will get you an additional $10 off orders over $40, bringing your price down to a fabulous $39.95.

There is no telling how long this deal will last, so snag it quick. I am sure quantities won’t last long considering this Playmobil Pirates Ship is basically 60% off right now once you apply the coupon code. It is rare to find discounts that great on Playmobil products.

Playmobil toys are rated for children ages 4-10, but my two year old son enjoys them just the same. I just remove any pieces I find too small for him to play with. He has the police car, school bus, pony farm and now the pirates ship is on the way. This Playmobil Pirates Ship comes complete with working cannons, a crane for loading items on and off the boat, a hidden treasure compartment and more. This ship can even float on water. There is a Playmobil Underwater Motor you can purchase so that the boat can propel itself as well. There are also four pirate figures included among many other accessories.

Here is one of the customer reviews from

This pirate ship is good sized and offers ALOT of play value. I would say Playmobil toys are a exceptional value. This toy has many features to keep little ones busy. The captain’s cabin has a table where the pirates can sit for a meeting, and even a bed where someone can sleep! A working anchor and derrick can both be raised and lowered for fun.

You will also save $10 on shipping when you purchase this Playmobil Pirate Ship. That probably won’t allow for free shipping, but maybe you will get pretty close. My estimated shipping cost to the GTA, Ontario was $10.33. So once I received the $10 discount (automatically applied) I only had to pay $0.33 for shipping, which is not bad considering the discount you are already getting on this toy.

Take 50% Off Playmobil My Take Along Train For Just $33 Plus Shipping @ Chapters Indigo Canada

Take 50% Off Playmobil My Take Along Train For Just $33 Plus Shipping @ Chapters Indigo Canada

My son is obsessed with trains. I would probably be interested in purchasing this Playmobil My Take Along Train for my little guy, if he wasn’t so obsessed with Thomas the Tank Engine. Right now Chapters Indigo Canada Online has the Playmobil My Take Along Train on sale for 50% off the regular price. That leaves you paying just $32.50 instead of $65 for this adorable little play set.

The Playmobil My Take Along Train is now 50% off at Chapters Canada. You will be impressed with this toy for your little one, especially since you will be paying just $32.50 instead of $64.95. This train will cruise down the tracks while keeping your little one’s attention with the colourful and bright design. The pieces are large and well rounded, which makes them well suited for toddlers.

This Playmobil My Take Along Train is not only fun, but also convenient. The train station doubles as a carrying case, so this set can be entertainment anywhere you go. All you have to do is unlatch the side to open up the storage compartments for the Playmobil figures. The items included in this Playmobil My Take Along Train include the three figures, two train cars, tracks, bench, suitcase, and a traffic sign. There is enough track pieces included to make an oval track about 19 inches wide.

This is the absolute best deal around on the Playmobil My Take Along Train. While Chapters Canada is selling this set for just $32.50, other retailers are selling this set for upwards of $65. Here is a quick look at the cost of this set at other Canadian retailers:

So as you can see, $32.50 is a steal for this great toy. There are many happy reviews on different Playmobil products, I am sure you and your little one won’t be disappointed. Here are two of the customer reviews on this product:

This Playmobil MyTake Along Train is great. My son loves trains and this one is awesome. The tracks stay together while he plays. Playmobil123 has never let me down.

This My Take Along Train is the perfect take along toy to keep any youngster occupied. The toy arrived as presented and quickly. We can’t wait to see it unwrapped.

This offer is available online at only, but there is a catch. While Chapters Indigo Canada would normally offer free shipping on all orders that exceed $25, this product is an exception. You will still have to pay shipping and handling fees. I live in the Toronto area and my shipping cost came to $6.28. Even after taking the shipping costs into consideration, this toy is still going to cost you a lot less from Chapters Canada.

Chapters Indigo Canada: 25% Off All Playmobil

Posted by on October 28, 2014 at 4:00 PM

Chapters Indigo Canada: 25% Off All Playmobil

My kids are already making out their Christmas lists and what’s on top of the list? Playmobil! We have a little bit of an addiction here in the Webster household, but we can’t get enough of this fun and educational toy. Playmobil can get super pricey, especially when buying the larger sets so I always keep an eye out this time of year for sales and Chapters Indigo has read my mind. For a few days only, you’ll get 25% off all Playmobil. I have to say this is one of the highest discounts you’ll get on Playmobil, as I typically only see 20%, so if you are waiting for something better, you might not find it.

When I was in Chapters Indigo recently, my youngest son went right up to the Playmobil featured and picked up an Advent calendar and would not put it down. It was quite the scene leaving the store when I told him he couldn’t get it. I know how he feels, I feel the same way about wine and chocolate. But, his birthday was last week, so Nana came to the rescue and got it for his birthday and he was very happy. While it isn’t typically a birthday present, I like to get one to start in December, rather than those cheap chocolate Advent calendars that aren’t really all that fun. These were $26.95, now $20.21.

Now, my middle son has not stopped talking about “the hotel”, which he means this furnished hotel. He has actually been saving his allowance and birthday money to buy this set for himself, after his brother sort of took over the Playmobil school and made it into a mansion with his friends with a spy office on the top and a fire station on the side. Luckily for him, I know a very nice Grandma that is getting him this for Christmas. I just wonder if she paid $149.95, or the low price that it is right now of $112.46? I also see it is not available in stores so if your kid wants this, here’s where you get it!

I love to check out the new and hot section and I see they now have a shopping mall! I don’t know if my kids would be interested in that since they are typical boys who hate shopping, but if any Nana or Grandma wanted to get me it for Christmas, it might see some action Chapters Indigo Canada: 25% Off All Playmobil

Shipping is always free on orders over $25, so note this when you are getting your Playmobil stash.

Chapters Indigo Canada: 25% Off All Playmobil

Chapters Indigo Canada: 25% Off All Playmobil

For three days only, Chapters Indigo has 25% off all Playmobil. This is a great deal because you don’t often see an all-Playmobil sale on for more than 20% off!

I love Playmobil, my kids love Playmobil and my hubby loves Playmobil. Having recently moved into a home with a finished basement, it is now a Playmobil paradise. We have quite a few sets and what my kids and husband ended up doing is put a bunch of them together making what they call “the mansion”. The mansion consists of a school at the bottom, bedrooms on top, even a jail, a fire pole and an ice cream shoppe. I love the creativity that Playmobil allows my kids (and hubby). I would say it is on par with LEGO (although I prefer Playmobil) in terms of you can create the model that comes with the set, or you can branch out and do something different. I also much prefer stepping on Playmobil as LEGO feels like a hot dagger through my toes.

The vehicles for Playmobil are also a huge hit with my kids and they stay together much better than LEGO vehicles too. My middle son’s birthday is coming up in a week and every year he gets a new Playmobil set. I’m definitely going to get him one from Chapters Indigo, as the deals are hot! The new and hot section is of course the place to start.

I know my son would completely love this camp site set, and this is the perfect thing to bring along to our new trailer! With a regular price of $69.95, you’ll get it for only $52.46. I think I have a winner!! The biker at camp site would go well as an addition and I find it hilarious! My husband is taking the kids camping today with his friend who rides a motorcycle so I know exactly what they’ll do with this guy! This was $19.95 and now $14.96. I really can’t wait to get the kids this set!

Shipping is free from Chapters Indigo with a $25 or more purchase.

Chapters Indigo Canada: Playmobil Bank With Safe $30 (Was $50)

Posted by on July 3, 2014 at 12:30 PM

Chapters Indigo Canada: Playmobil Bank With Safe $30 (Was $50)

There is only one thing I love more than Playmobil, and that is Playmobil on sale. Our family has a huge collection of Playmobil sets, and we love adding to it for birthdays, Christmas and the such. When I find a good deal on sale, I buy it, rather than pay full price for it before a birthday or getting 20% off it, which is pretty much the maximum I’ve seen it on sale as a whole. The bank with safe is a fantastic price, with $20 off, now only $30, with a regular price of $49.95.

We actually have this set, which is one reason I wanted to blog it for you. It is one set that really gets played with a lot. For some reason, boys like to simulate bank robberies and do the typical bad guy vs. good guy role playing and this sets gives them the background to do so. You could of course pair it with other sets like the police station, where you can put the robbers after they’ve been caught.

If this set is just not up your alley, there are other sets also on sale. One of my favourites is the beach holiday. We have this set as well, and I find my younger boys play with this one a lot. I think this one is also unisex (not that they all aren’t), because the beach has universal appeal. We’ve paired this up with quite a few other sets like the ice cream shoppe and the jet ski. This one was $12.99, now $9.

Another favourite in our house, that isn’t a huge discount (13%) is the police car with flashing lights. All of the Playmobil vehicles get tons of use from all three of my boys, but there is just something about the wee-oh wee-oh of the sirens of a police car (self-made included) that boys can’t get enough of. Get this toy for $26, from $29.95.

Shipping is of course free on a $25 or more purchase at Chapters Indigo.

Mastermind Toys: Free Knight Or Fairy Case With $25 Playmobil Purchase

Posted by on April 10, 2014 at 7:30 PM

Mastermind Toys: Free Knight Or Fairy Case With $25 Playmobil Purchase

As I’ve blogged several times before, my kids absolutely adore Playmobil. Mastermind Toys has a terrific deal on that both kids and adults will love. Get a free knight or fairy case worth $12.99 with your purchase of $25 or more of Playmobil.

With Easter coming up, Playmobil sets could be your candy egg hunt alternative. I know quite a few parents who don’t like their kids to have a lot of candy and loathe the sweet goodness of these holidays. While I love candy, I used to be the mom who hid granola bars and rice cakes for my kids to find from the Easter bunny. My kids just don’t buy that anymore and while they would be fine with it, I can’t imagine the lack of enthusiasm I’d get when instead of a chocolate bunny at the end of their hunt, they found an apple. Toys are a great alternative and Playmobil is great because there are literally hundreds of tiny pieces. While normally tiny pieces frighten me because of the whole stepping on them in the middle of the night factor, Playmobil’s tiny pieces are totally cute. Like, one of our sets is a farm and it comes with tiny bunnies and kittens and carrots and other veggies. So, when I step on these I don’t freak out as much as when I step on a LEGO block that means nothing to me. Instead I coo at the little plastic bunny.

Before you go all “Playmobil is so expensive” on me, remember that your spend is only $25 to get the free set. There are a number of really cute sets for only $3.95 or $4.95, that would be perfect little gifts during an egg hunt. This little architect with planning table is very cute and so is this mom with a baby carriage. Playmobil really  has any theme you can think of. These would also make great loot bag gifts at kid’s birthday parties. Then your kid can keep the free case.

Shipping is free on a $60 purchase. It looks like only one case is free per order, so you can’t order $50 worth and get two cases.

Chapters Indigo Canada: 30% Off Select Playmobil

Posted by on January 4, 2014 at 11:30 AM

Chapters Indigo Canada: 30% Off Select Playmobil

I took a look at Chapter’s sale section and found select Playmobil sets on sale for 30% off. I’ve never seen Playmobil go on sale for more than 30% off, and in fact it is rare to see it on sale for that high of a discount. It is only applicable on select sets, but they are new or newer sets, so this sale is worth taking a look at to stock up for birthdays, or to complete sets your child may have gotten for Christmas.

I’ve mentioned quite a few times before that my kids are huge Playmobil addicts, and they have a number of sets. This Christmas alone, they were gifted with five new sets! These aren’t complete sets, but usually just parts of a set, and there are many other smaller sets that go along with what they have.

My oldest son was gifted with the Future Planet set. There are a few items he didn’t get that are now on sale like:

We already have the Harbour Police with speedboat set, and it is a great one on its own, or with the rest of the harbour. Was $59.95, now $42.

Shipping is free once you spend over $25.

Chapters Canada: Five Days Of Deals!

Posted by on November 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM

Chapters Canada: Five Days Of Deals!

Chapters has their awesome five days of kids deals sale going on right this week.

I love this sale because I love the mystery of wondering what tomorrow’s deal will be. Each day will showcase a different deal. Today’s deal is probably already my favourite because it is 30% off Playmobil, which is honestly the highest I’ve ever seen it on sale. I will definitely be picking up a few items for my kid’s Christmas wish list today. They also have Geranimo Stilton books for only $10, was $16.99. I may also get a few of those.

I usually do a cheesy advent calendar with chocolate, but this year I’ve decided I want to do a Playmobil or LEGO one, so this sale has come just in time for me. My kids would love this Playmobil Police Advent calendar. Was $24.95, now $17.46.

My son has been talking non-stop about the E-Rangers’ Headquarters for Future Planet by Playmobil. This set has a high (but worth it) price tag and you’ll save $40! Was $129.95, now $90.96.

Shipping is free when you spend over $25 and I know they ship quickly.

(Expiry: 11th November 2013 for Playmobil/Geranimo Stilton; 15th November 2013 for entire deal)

Mastermind Toys: 15% Off All Playmobil

Mastermind Toys: 15% Off All Playmobil

If you’ve been waiting for a sale on Playmobil, here it is. Get 15% off all Playmobil sets at Mastermind Toys.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that 15% off is not the best sale I’ve seen on Playmobil, although the most I’ve ever seen is 30% off and that is rare. 20% sales happen at places like Chapters and Toys R Us. But, Mastermind has the best selection I’ve seen on Playmobil. So, although you might get some sets cheaper during different sales, you might not get what you want.

I’ve mentioned a few times that my children love Playmobil and we have a number of sets. The sets can be pricey so these are usually big gifts at Christmas or for birthdays. My kids also love the more unique sets, which you usually can’t find at Toys R Us or Chapters.

On their wish list:

Shipping is free when you spend over $60.

Mastermind Toys Canada: Free Sets With Purchase

If you love Playmobil, and our family loves Playmobil, Mastermind Toys has a hot deal for you. Spend only $20 on Playmobil and you’ll get two free sets worth $3.95 each. Spend $50 or more and you’ll get those two free sets, plus a free take along hospital worth $39.95.

You can’t beat free gifts with purchase, especially when the gift is almost worth the amount of the purchase. When you spend $20, you have your choice of two of the following sets:

I quite like the little sets, which make great stocking stuffers or even gifts in a loot bag. The kids love having different people, even if they don’t match the sets they have.

When you spend $50, you get a free take along hospital, valued at about $40, which is a pretty sweet deal, considering you also get the two free sets above as well, making it almost a buy one, get one free deal. I bought our first take along set this Christmas and it is great for taking in the car, camping, hotels, or places where there might be no toys (think Great Grandma’s house).

Chapters Canada: 5 Days Of Toy Deals

Posted by on July 22, 2013 at 2:30 PM

Chapters Canada: 5 Days Of Toy Deals

This is one of my favourite sales! Chapters is having five days of deals on select brands of toys, with a new surprise brand each day.

Today’s deal is 30% off Playmobil, which is a fantastic deal, since I’ve rarely seen it for more than 25% off. Playmobil can be pricey, but I think it is well worth it and our family has many, many sets. Getting it at a deal like this is a treat. Other upcoming deals that Chapters may feature, like in years past, could be LEGO, Barbie, LeapFrog, Star Wars, Crayola, VTech, and more. You’ll have to check back at Chapters each day to see what the rest of week holds, but I think today’s deal is my most favourite and I don’t even know the rest.

My son’s birthday is next week and he will be six! He loves Playmobil, and I need to figure out what to get him. This sale came at the perfect time. I’m thinking of the following:

  • Ambulance – my kids and their friends are mostly drawn to the Playmobil vehicles we buy. The ambulance is a perfect vehicle for transporting their imaginary patients and making loud wee-ooh, wee-ooh sounds. Was $49.99, now $34.99.
  • Mega Masters Razor-Copter – they already have a few pieces from the spy set, and this copter is high-tech and cool. Was $34.95, now $24.46.
  • Family Motorhome – the perfect toy to take camping, so you can pretend you are camping. Irony, I love it. Was $59.95, now $41.96.
  • Summer House – a great toy to take to the cottage! Was $69.95, now $48.96.

As an added bonus, when you spend more than $50 on Playmobil at Chapters, you’ll get a free gift worth $12.95. Choose between the Chopper Motorbike or the Arabian Horse and add them to your cart when you reach $50.

Shipping is free on orders over $25.

Mastermind Toys Canada: Free Playmobil w/ Playmobil Purchase

Mastermind Toys Canada: Free Playmobil w/ Playmobil Purchase

Mastermind Toys Canada has yet another sweet deal getting you free items with your purchase, this time for Playmobil. Get a free police boat and a fire boat or police helicopter when you spend $60 on Playmobil (a $51 value). Also, get a free fire boat or police helicopter when you spend $30 on Playmobil (a $16 value).

Your best bet here is to spend the $60 on Playmobil and get the two free items, plus free shipping (which is free on orders over $60). My kids absolutely love Playmobil and I do too. I think I might even like it more than the kids do. We have a Playmobil city in our playroom, which actually includes the fire boat and the police helicopter, but with three boys, it doesn’t hurt to have more than one item, especially of the transportation-type items like these that get a huge amount of play.

My oldest loves police and robbers scenarios, so he would love this bank with safe for $49.95. Add this police special forces with an actual K-9 unit for only $9.95 and you’ll get the two free items.

You don’t just have to buy police or fire Playmobil items either. Check out this take along soccer match, with nets, strikers and everything for the ultimate soccer match, for only $59.95 and you’ll get the two free items with this set too.

I’ve written on here before how much I love Playmobil and how we have a virtual Playmobil city in our playroom. I could almost say my kids don’t need any more Playmobil, but I don’t think that could ever be possible. There are so many great sets and they come out with new great ones all the time. My kids always get new items for birthdays and holidays and they play with all of it.

One set they don’t have is the Pirate Attack Ship. This ship has working cannons, a crane that can be used for loading and unloading, and a hidden compartment to store treasure. It even floats on water and can be upgraded with an underwater motor. Four Playmobil figures and other accessories come with this set, which goes along with the Pirate Adventure Island. Regularly $79.99, get $10 off and pay only $69.99.

If you have the Playmobil House, which we would love to get, now might be the time to furnish a few rooms. The Children’s Room is $29.99 and the Parent’s Bedroom is $24.99. Get both and pay only $44.98.

My kids love the Playmobil vehicles with their many doors and detailed functions, like a working steering wheel and opening and closing doors. This Adventure Truck is cool and regularly $59.99, but get it with $10 off for only $49.99.

Shipping is $0.01 on orders over $100.
