Chapters Indigo: $10 off $50 with Paypal

Chapters Indigo: $10 off $50 with Paypal

For three days only, use Paypal to pay for your $50 or more purchase at Chapters Indigo to receive $10 off. Usually, Chapters Indigo only has $5 off $50 deals, so a $10 off $50 offer is a pretty big deal! You also want to combine this deal with the $5 off $50 coupon code NEWINMARCH I already blogged about for a total of $15 off $50!

Now – you need to do this in the RIGHT way (or it won’t work and you will be short $10). Follow these instructions:

  1. Log into your PayPal account and click to save the offer.
  2. Shop
  3. Pay with Paypal and the offer is automatically applied
  4. The savings will show on your Paypal email receipt and account details

It is imperative you remember to do step number one – do not just jump straight to shopping! I just clicked through and redeemed the offer on my Paypal account. Now, I can go shopping!

The beauty of this offer is that it combines with the above coupon code, sale items, books, and everything but gift cards. I just blogged about some great Le Creuset accessories on sale including a lovely salt crock. Receive an extra $10 off your order when it totals $50 or more.

Personally, that salt crock and a book tempt me! Monstrous by MarcyKate Connolly is on my wish list just because Scottie Young – the artist from Marvel’s Wizard of Oz series and the Marvel baby comic covers – illustrates the book. He is truly one of my favourite artists and I am interested in all his work. The book costs $15.16 for Plum members so it pairs perfectly with the salt crock – as together they cost $50.16. After checkout out with Paypal, the book and the salt crock will only cost me $40.16 plus taxes.

I always have to go back to books. The Adventures of Tintin Complete Slipcase set is on sale from $129.95 down to $81.47. When you checkout with Paypal, the set will cost just $71.47. While that may still seem like a lot of money, we are talking the complete TinTin collection – it is massive. I used to watch TinTin on TV when I was a kid. If it was not on in English, then I would watch it on the French channel.

The sale section is always a good place to shop as well. This Wecker Sweet Diamond clock (in black) was $55 and is now $22.

I also highly recommend shopping the Select Robert Munsch collections for only $15 (originally $25). These books are awesome for kids and there are four to choose. If you bought all four (4 x $15 = $60) then you could get the $10 off deal with Paypal. That brings all four books down to $50 when they have an original value of $100.

Paypal Canada: $50 Off $125 @ * BUMP *

Paypal Canada: $50 Off $125 @ * BUMP *

*** BUMP – the deal is now active, look in your Paypal accounts! Plus, there is a $20 off $50 coupon which you can claim here on Facebook which will stack with this offer! ***

Paypal Canada has a secret offer just waiting for you to find it! This appears to be a targeted offer so you may not all have it, but I hope that many of you will. Receive $50 off $125 or more at when you pay with Paypal Canada.

If you are eligible for this offer, you will probably not have received an email for it. The offer is hiding away somewhere in your Paypal Canada account just waiting for you to find it. Follow these steps to find your offer.

  1. Sign into Paypal Canada
  2. Select “Wallet” from the top bar
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and look for “Saved offers”

Under saved offers, you should see a deal for $50 off $125 at Here is what the offer will look like when you click into it:

Paypal Canada: $50 Off $125 @ * BUMP *

Now, this deal is not valid yet – It will be valid from February 18th through March 8th, 2015. This is your heads up so you can start looking for an awesome item to purchase with this sweet offer from Paypal Canada and together.

Unfortunately, not everyone will have this offer in their Paypal account. I have no idea how Paypal decides what accounts to give these promotions to, but I wish they would just give them to everyone. I did find this offer in my own account; that is how I grabbed the screen shot I have attached above.

It looks like you do not need to do anything special to receive the offer except choose Paypal when you checkout at The discount will be automatically applied. If you are completely not interested in this offer, it appears you can remove it or disable it from triggering. I have no idea why you would want to do that.

Deals on change so often, thus I cannot advise you on what to buy. I suggest watching for deals on the blog. I recently posted an up to 75% Off Bench deal that would be amazing to combine with $50 off $125 deal. Eva’s deal on the Columbia men’s Summit Crest Interchange jacket would also be great to add to your cart before receiving an extra $50 off $125. I am hoping for some more great deals just in time for you to take advantage of this Paypal deal.

Paypal Canada: 10% Off iTunes Codes

Posted by on December 26, 2014 at 11:35 AM

Paypal Canada: 10% Off iTunes Codes

Paypal Canada is offering 10% off iTunes cards from their digital store for Boxing Week. Cards come in denominations of $25, $50, and $100.

Here is what you will actually pay for each card:

  • $25 for $22.50
  • $50 for $45
  • $100 for $90

You can buy for yourself or gift to a friend. This deal is unusual because iTunes cards and codes are not sold online in Canada. This is a luxury that the USA has experienced for a while now, but only very recently has iTunes opened up a few venues for online purchasing of iTunes credit. My husband often buys me iTunes cards when they go on sale and he always has to make a trip to the local pharmacy or electronics store to do so.

This deal is nice because you can save of your iTunes codes up front. This is one way to combine deals: purchase cards at a discount and then get music, movies, etc. when they are on sale. I purchase nearly all my music digitally and i have a few seasons of Sherlock and Avatar on my system as well. These costs add up, so saving a bit up front on an iTunes card is vital.

A similar promotion happened in the US just a bit ago, and it completely sold out. While this 10% off iTunes codes is valid for four days, there are also ‘limited quantities’ so it could sell out at any time. You will want to purchase this deal sooner rather than later. All codes are digital and can be redeemed in the iTunes store.

Are you looking for some great music? I highly recommend The Piano Guys. They became a sensation overnight with their Frozen rendition (mixed with Vivaldi). Even if you are only so-so on classical music, their classical take on your favourite movie themes might just warm your heart. I know their Batman movie theme is immensely popular.

If you are into symphonic metal, I have a whole pile of recommendations for you and I would love to hear some of your recommendations as well. Just drop me a comment below!

Unfortunately, Apple cancelled their usual 12 Days of Christmas giveaways, so if you are waiting on that – it is not happening this year.

Hey Moosers, what denomination of iTunes card are you going to purchase?

Paypal Canada: Signup For 5% Cash Back

Posted by on November 23, 2014 at 6:00 PM

Paypal Canada: Signup For 5% Cash Back

Paypal Canada is offering 5% cash back on purchases between the 24th of November (tomorrow) and the 2nd of December at participating merchants.

There is a bunch of fine print you need to know for this offer so sit back, relax, and read on.

First, you need to go through the above link to register for this deal. You can do that now. The actual cash back offer starts on Monday. This year, Paypal has done something tricky. You will earn cash back on your second purchase and any subsequent purchases thereafter. Your first purchase during that time period will not earn any cash back.

Here are some additional rules you need to know:

  • Maximum $20 cash back per transaction
  • Maximum $200 cash back per account for the promotional period

That means you cannot buy a $1,000 television and expect to get 5% back, rather you would only get a maximum of $20 back. Now, I know your deal loving brains are thinking of all the wonderful things you can buy with this promotion. Well here is a little fine print to guide your steps:

Pre-orders, gift certificate payments, gift card purchases, automatic and/or recurring payments that you have scheduled, and any payments made when you are not logged into your PayPal account are all excluded.

I know, I would be loading up on gift cards too if they were eligible.

As for retailers, you can get a good idea of qualifying stores here. You will find popular stores such as Lush, The Home Depot,, Garage, Globo, Etsy, and more. I am pretty stoked that Etsy is on that list! Most Canadian and US retail stores where the sole method of payment is Paypal will qualify.

Now, while 5% cash back does not seem like a lot in the long run, it can really add up if you are doing a great deal of holiday shopping online. As this promotion runs during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it is the perfect time to go through Paypal while making your purchases to save some extra money. The 5% cash back will be deposited into your account approximately one month after you have earned it. After it is deposited, you will receive an email informing you of the details.

Do remember, your first purchase starting on November 24th does not qualify so maybe buy something small the first time around.

Test Drive PayPal’s New Site To Get A Free $5 Credit (Or Choose Among Others Deals) – EXPIRED

Posted by on September 7, 2014 at 10:00 PM

Test Drive PayPals New Site To Get A Free $5 Credit (Or Choose Among Others Deals) EXPIREDWant a free $5 credit at PayPal? Then test drive their new site now. It only takes a couple of minutes and you also have the choice between either a $5 credit or a discount on other sites like eBay, DealXtreme, ShoeBuy, Deezer or Champs Sports.

The test drive begins by asking which your are more likely to buy the next time you choice and have the choice between eight options like tech, music, travel, education, etc. I doubt it matters which choice you go with as once you proceed to the next step, PayPal outlines the dangers of buying online merchandise directly with a credit card when instead, you can simply sign into your PayPal account without exposing your financial information.

Personally, that is definitely an aspect of online shopping that I have always been apprehensive about because I certainly wouldn’t want to unknowingly have my credit card information stolen by some malware software or what if the website I’m shopping at gets hacked?

PayPal’s test drive then outlines the benefits of an account with them like: security, purchase protection and speed — all very convincing aspects of course.

Once you’re done with the test drive, then you will be given the option 6 deals:

  • $5 PayPal credit
  • eBay: Up to 70% off eBay Deals
  • Deezer: 3-month subscription for just $0.45 USD/ month
  • DealXtreme: up to 50% off
  • 10% off everything + free shiping
  • Champs Sports: 17% off orders over $120 USD

There is a limit of one per customer and you only get to choose once, so choose carefully! If you end up choosing any deal other than the PayPal one, then you can always check out the PayPal coupon codes on the Bargainmoose forum. There are currently two active ones on there: one for a $5 credit with activation of a PayPal prepaid Mastercard and the other for $50 off an order over $400.

Personally, I have had an account with PayPal for a couple of years now and it really is a breeze to use for both personal and business use. I have noticed that a lot of small business have begun accepting PayPal but I wasn’t sure if a large company like Best Buy would and to my surprise, I discovered that yes, even they accept PayPal!

Moosers, do you use PayPal? Which offer will you be choosing?

Paypal Coupon Codes: Duty Free Offers & More

Posted by on August 19, 2014 at 3:00 PM

Paypal Coupon Codes: Duty Free Offers & More

Paypal Canada has teamed up with select US companies to offer duty-free cross-border shopping and extra discounts. Minimum purchase required varies with company.

The first company you can shop at this month is Bloomingdales. They do not require any minimum for you to use their duty free coupon, which makes this one great deal for Canadians. Shipping is a flat rate of $9.95 to Canada.

  • Coupon Code: DUTYFREE
  • Discount: No duty
  • Expiry: 14th September 2014

The coupon excludes Gift Cards, Furniture, Rugs, and Mattresses and select large items as well as anything that the manufacturers will not export to Canada. Be sure to check out Bloomingdale’s extensive sale and clearance section for great deals to stack with this offer.

Land’s End

At Land’s End, you will get a slightly different deal. Enjoy duty free shopping on orders of $100 CA or more and receive free shipping as well. You will need both a coupon code and a PIN to redeem this offer.

  • Coupon Code: DUTYFREE
  • PIN: 24396
  • Discount: No duty & free shipping on $100+ CA
  • Expiry: 14th September 2014

There appears to be no exclusions on this offer, so you are golden. Right now Land’s End is offering 40% off select backpacks and 25% off uniforms. It is a great time to be shopping back to school offers.

This is the first time we have ever mentioned Pacsun on Bargainmoose, so please give them a warm welcome. This company sells graphic tees, denim, and more. They can provide great basics for your wardrobe that no one else has. Receive free shipping and no duty on orders of $100 US or more at Pacsun when you pay with Paypal Canada.

  • Coupon Code: DUTYFREE
  • Discount: No duty & free shipping on $100+ US
  • Expiry: 14th September 2014

The main difference between the Land’s End and the Pacsun offers is that Pacsun’s minimum is in US currency while Land’s End’s minimum is in CA dollars. Pacsun currently has a buy one get one free offer on their Bullhead jeans for men or women that is certainly worth getting in on. They also have an extra 30% off their sale section right now.

You must use Paypal Canada to pay along with imputing the coupon code in order to use these deals. Overall, I am very pleased with these offers as duty is the largest barrier to shopping across the border.

For other great back to school coupon codes, visit our coupon forum.

PayPal Canada: Check in with PayPal Mobile & Get a Free $5 Towards Toronto Coffee Shops

Posted by on July 23, 2014 at 6:30 PM

PayPal Canada: Check in with PayPal Mobile & Get a Free $5 Towards Toronto Coffee Shops

PayPay Canada is trying to brighten up your morning with a nice new freebie offer.  If you are a PayPal Canada user, they have a great deal happening right now. Check in with PayPal mobile by the end of July, and you will automatically get $5 towards coffee at various Toronto coffee shops absolutely free!

There is no purchase necessary to get the free $5, you just need to log into your PayPal account from your smartphone. It is a great app to have because you can actually pay through it at many stores across Canada. A lot of people have the misconception that you can only shop on your computer online and use PayPal but that is just not the case. I assume that they are doing this promotion to advertise that they can be used at any stores and not just online.  Personally, it doesn’t matter to me why they are doing the promotion when you get a freebie!

To get this deal, you must have the PayPal app on your phone. If you do not have it downloaded to your smart phone, we can help you out with that. It is totally free to download.  Just choose the app for either or iOS or Android. Once you have it, follow these simple steps to get your free $5.

  • Log in with your PayPal account
  • Click the ‘Shop’ button and select a location
  • Save the $5 offers and slide the blue ‘P’ to check in
  • Inform the cashier that you will be paying with PayPal

It will be valid at various coffee shops around Toronto Ontario. There are so many in fact that I don’t want to list them all here.  You will see the complete list on the main link above.

Ontario always seems to get the great deals don’t they! This is one of those times I wish I was living back there.

Keep in mind, you can spend the $5 on anything at any of these coffee shops.  You can obviously get coffee, but you can also get tea, snacks, even novelties sale items. This is a one time deal so you will not get the free $5 every time you log into PayPal through your smartphone app.

AVG: Get 40% of AntiVirus or Internet Security 2014 when you Pay with PayPal!

Get AVG Anti Virus 2014 or Internet Security 2014 for 40% off when you pay with PayPal!

You have the use the above link to get the deal.

PayPal has been doing a lot of these deals lately. Get a percent off or some cash back when paying with their service. I think this is the biggest product discount I’ve seen them offer.

They’re offering the discount on a fantastic product though. AVG was the first really popular free anti-virus program. People flocked to the program because, up until then, the only players in town were Norton and McAfee. Of course there were other free ones and other paid ones but that was kind of it. I remember people were just amazed that someone was offering a free  anti-virus program.

Of course they needed to make some money so they are offering up a paid version with more protection. This is the version, AVG Anti Virus 2014, that you can buy here for $23.99 (was $39.99, save $16) or you can get a bit more protection with AVG Internet Security 2014 for $32.99 (was $54.99, save $22) if you feel like a little more. Remember though, you only get the deals when you pay with PayPal!

These are digital downloads so there is no shipping.

The Bay Canada: Use PayPal to Pay & Get $30 Back On $150 Purchases

The Bay Canada: Use PayPal to Pay & Get $30 Back On $150 Purchases

Shop at the Bay this week and pay with PayPal and you’ll get $30 back on a $150 purchase.

Your eligible purchase can’t include taxes or shipping and PayPal must be your sole method of payment. There is only one offer per PayPal account and unlike many other PayPal offers, you don’t need an existing account to take advantage of this offer. You can sign up easily at PayPal, get yourself a new account, shop, pay and get your $30 back easily.

Because this is a PayPal deal, you can still take advantage of any great deals on at The Bay too, like the clearance sale or the white sale my fellow bloggers already told you about.

If you need a new flatware set, or are looking for a useful wedding gift to give, this Henckels set in twin opus is 63 pieces and I love the classic but modern look it has. Was $479.99, then $189.99, but with the additional $30 back you’ll pay only $159.99, saving you $320 on this set!

If you love new coats as much as me, this London Fog wool hooded trench coat is already on sale for $171.50, was $245. Add the $30 cash back and you are paying only $141.50 for this coat, saving you over $100.

If you are taking advantage of this deal, you are spending over the minimum shipping threshold of $99, so you’ll get free shipping as well.

PayPal Canada: 5% Back On All Purchases

Posted by on November 13, 2013 at 2:00 PM

PayPal Canada: 5% Back On All Purchases

Get 5% in cash back on all your purchases from now until December 12th when you pay with PayPal.

PayPal is a very convenient way to pay for purchases. They have a number of stores which use their service like Toys R Us, Roots, Ebay and Etsy. I plan on buying a few items from Etsy this Christmas and it is great that I’ll get 5% back! It says that this deal is only for people who have been invited. I didn’t get an invite, but was able to sign up for it. I assume this means you have to have an existing PayPal account. But, it does say sign up now, so I also wonder if you can do it without having had an account already. Either way, try it out if you want 5% back on purchases!

If you don’t have an existing account, I suggest you sign up for one to get any future deals. Our code deal is fantastic, but you can only use it with an existing account. I’m sure there will be more of these in the future. Even better that I’ll now get another 5% back if I use that deal.

NOTE: Some people are reporting problems, and a friend just got this email:

“You recently tried to sign up for our exclusive segmented 5% cash back offer. Unfortunately, you aren’t eligible to receive any cash back as this offer is only valid for a specific segment of PayPal members. The offer terms and conditions stated that you must receive an email directly from PayPal inviting you to participate in the offer. Therefore, any forward of the offer is not allowed.”

October 25 Stacking Deal: $25 off $75 Paypal Promo is Back, Extra $10 off $50 Mooseclusive, And $25 off $100 For New Accounts (Potential $60 off $100!)

Posted by on October 25, 2013 at 2:25 PM Stacking Deal: $25 off $75 Paypal Promo is Back, Extra $10 off $50 Mooseclusive, And $25 off $100 For New Accounts (Potential $60 off $100!)

A while back, had an offer with Paypal, where you were able to get $25 off a $75 spend, and it’s now available again. On top of that, you can combine our Bargainmoose exclusive coupon code MOOSE for $10 off $50, making a potential total saving of $35 off $75!

AND if you are a new customer on, you can actually get $25 credit for your first $100 spend. Therefore spend $100, and end up paying only $40!?!

We had a bit of trouble the last time this promotion was posted, because back then, it was only valid to certain Paypal customers who were already signed up to their deals mailing list. But this time, I am informed that the Paypal discount is open to anyone who has had a valid Canadian Paypal account active up until Oct 15th. Note: If you used the offer previously, it won’t be available now. Or if you have a business PayPal account, the offer is not available either.

To make sure you get the offer, here’s how to check. When you’re going through the checkout, first of all make sure you apply the exclusive Bargainmoose promo code MOOSE for $10 off $50. Then, select Paypal as the payment method. When you proceed through checkout and log in to Paypal, under payment methods, you should see something like this message, “special offer will apply and display on paypal receipt.” Stacking Deal: $25 off $75 Paypal Promo is Back, Extra $10 off $50 Mooseclusive, And $25 off $100 For New Accounts (Potential $60 off $100!)

After you complete your purchase through Paypal, you should see something like this in your account activity: Stacking Deal: $25 off $75 Paypal Promo is Back, Extra $10 off $50 Mooseclusive, And $25 off $100 For New Accounts (Potential $60 off $100!)

Note the $25 credit from Paypal. If you don’t see that, then something’s gone amiss, and you might have to contact Paypal about it. There’s also an explanatory video here if that helps.

Our author Shawn tested this out and it’s working, though Eva was getting an error on the Paypal sign-in, so I hope you guys don’t have any trouble.

(Ends 17th November 2013)

P.S. If you need a small item to make your cart up to a certain level, here are office supplies sorted by price ascending – pop something small in your cart! Our developer Ricky just ordered GTA V, a litter box and 6 pens for $64.19 after tax … !!

Paypal Canada & $25 Off Your $75 Purchase

Posted by on September 28, 2013 at 9:30 PM

Paypal Canada & $25 Off Your $75 Purchase

PayPal keeps coming up with these amazing deals that make you have to shop! This one is pretty sweet. Shop at and pay with PayPal using your existing paypal account, and PayPal will give you $25 off your $75 purchase. You can combine this with any rewards points you have to get an extra discount and you may be able to stack another $10 off with our exclusive promo code. This means on your spend of $100, you could potentially get $60 off.

I couldn’t find many details of this offer online, only what I was sent in an email. Basically, you are going to do all your shopping at, enter in all your promo codes, and check out using PayPal (which comes up in the box that asks you if you want to checkout). You do have to spend $75, but you are basically getting a third off your purchase price (minimum). Like I said, you can also use your rewards points, which, if you haven’t shopped at before, you’ll get $25 worth to use on your first $100 spend. This means a total of $50 off of $100 – now half off.

Now, I can’t guarantee this will work, but this is a stackable coupon, so please try it – we have a $10 off exclusive coupon code for any purchase over $50.

***Added note*** After doing a little bit of research, this coupon is in fact stackable, but you can only use this $25 off $75 from PayPal, if you are already subscribed to PayPal’s promotional emails. When you are in the checkout, there is a section titled “special offer” by the balance, which you’ll need to check. has some really great sales on and they change daily, so if you don’t see anything that floats your boat today, check back tomorrow. Let me know your experience in the comments below!

Future Shop Canada: Pay With PayPal & Get Up To $25 Back

Future Shop Canada: Pay With PayPal & Get Up To $25 Back

You don’t always need a credit card to shop online. Get a PayPal account, which is free, and you can use it to shop at a ton of retailers. Right now you can also get up to $25 in cash back when you shop at Future Shop.

I’ve been using PayPal for about a year now and find it incredibly handy. I can get and make payments, and it is totally free for this type of service. I originally opened the account to buy something from Etsy, where some of the sellers don’t have the ability to take credit card payments. You can transfer money from your bank account or store your credit card information there so that you don’t have to give it out to retailers. It makes it safer to do transactions. It also makes it easier to buy items, because all of your shipping information is stored and you don’t have to enter it over and over.

PayPal also has various deals and incentives to pay with them while shopping, making whatever deal you get that much better. Future Shop has just started using PayPal as a payment method, and are offering cash back on your purchases using PayPal.

When you spend between $100 and $249, you’ll get $10 back in cash in your PayPal account. Spending more than $250 gets you $25 back in cash.

If you need a reason to shop at Future Shop, check out the PC gaming hardware and accessories sale, or the backpack sale.

  • Discount: Save the Duty
  • Expiry: 3rd April 2013

This offer includes some really big companies like Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue,, and many more! All participating retailers can be found through the link above.

Do note that most all purchases will be in USD (of course). They will ship from the US but with the coupon code you will pay no duty – fantastic! Shipping varies, for some stores you get free shipping with certain minimums. Usually the big expense is duty so even with shipping costs you are getting an amazing deal. I am really excited about this because the USA has so much that Canadian online shops just don’t have.

Here is an example. For Canadian shoppers, Macy’s offers:

  • Guaranteed landed costs (no additional charges at delivery)

I love that American websites are trying to serve North of their border. Enjoy this offer while it lasts!
