Paypal Canada Coupon: Duty Free Shopping From Popular US Stores

Paypal Canada Coupon: Duty Free Shopping From Popular US Stores

Paypal Canada has a really cool offer on right now where you can shop at popular US stores and get your items duty free when you pay via Paypal (not Paypal mobile).

Click here to view this offer @ Paypal Canada

    • Coupon Code: DUTYFREE
    • Discount: Save the Duty
    • Expiry: 3rd April 2013

This offer includes some really big companies like Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Shoes.com, and many more! All participating retailers can be found through the link above.

Do note that most all purchases will be in USD (of course). They will ship from the US but with the coupon code you will pay no duty – fantastic! Shipping varies, for some stores you get free shipping with certain minimums. Usually the big expense is duty so even with shipping costs you are getting an amazing deal. I am really excited about this because the USA has so much that Canadian online shops just don’t have.

Here is an example. For Canadian shoppers, Macy’s offers:

    • All prices in Canadian dollars
    • Duties and taxes calculated at checkout
    • Low international shipping rates
    • Guaranteed landed costs (no additional charges at delivery)

I love that American websites are trying to serve North of their border. Enjoy this offer while it lasts!

Paypal Canada: 5% Back on Back to School Shopping

Paypal Canada is offering 5% cash back on Back-To-School shopping when you checkout with Paypal at participating Canadian and US retailers.

There is a bit of nitty gritty fine print that is VERY important, so please read:

Complete one purchase using PayPal at any participating merchant. Your second purchase, and each purchase you make thereafter during the Offer Period, will qualify for the Offer. The maximum amount of cash back under this Offer is limited to $20.00 CAD per purchase, and a maximum amount of $200.00 CAD per PayPal account for the entire Offer Period. The cash back will be transferred into your PayPal account between September 1, 2012 and October 13, 2012 based upon your transaction dates.

For the rest of the fine print, click through the link and get a magnifying glass.

Oddly enough, I can’t find a full list of participating retailers, though there was a short list of some of them. This 5% cash back includes:

    • SportChek
    • Forever21
    • eBay
    • Dell
    • Office Depot
    • The Home Depot
    • Newegg.ca
    • ToysRUs
    • Garage

If you find a full list dear Moosers, I would love to have a looksie and will update this post with it.

Paypal: Sign-up and Watch 5 hours of Netflix to get $10 cash back from PayPal

Posted by on May 16, 2012 at 9:00 AM

Paypal: Sign up and Watch 5 hours of Netflix to get $10 cash back from PayPal

Paypal Canada has an interesting deal going on right now: If you sign up for Netflix through Paypal (use the link below) and watch 5 hours of Netflix within your first month, you will get $10 cash back from Paypal.

Please read the fine print I have attached below. The fine print is very important for these offers, and often the reason people miss out on their bonus is because they miss one little step.

    To qualify for this Offer:

    • have a Canadian PayPal account in good standing
    • Click through the link to sign up for your new Netflix account and free trial period
    • be a new, first time Netflix subscriber, and
    • use PayPal as your Netflix payment method

Offer is limited to (1) one per PayPal account. You will receive $5 cash back (in CAD) when you start a Netflix free trial plus additional $5 (in CAD) cash back if you watch 5 hours of content via Netflix during the free trial period. Please allow 4-7 weeks after the Promotional Period for the cash back to be transferred to your PayPal account, so long as your PayPal account is in good standing.

That is pretty simple. You should see a Paypal bar when you click through to the offer.

Paypal Canada: $5 Cash Back on $20 Cineplex Purchase

Posted by on January 25, 2012 at 3:30 PM

Paypal Canada: $5 Cash Back on $20 Cineplex Purchase

Paypal is offering $5 cash back to your paypal account when you purchase admission tickets totalling a minimum of $20.00 CAD when purchased through www.cineplex.com or m.cineplex.com on your mobile phone using PayPal as the payment method.

    Fine print:

To receive this Offer, you must use a Canadian PayPal account in good standing and complete a Qualifying Purchase no later than January 27, 2012 at 11:59:59pm EST. The maximum amount of cash back allowed per PayPal account is $5.00 CAD. PayPal will transfer the cash back into your PayPal account within 6- 8 weeks after your purchase, so long as your account is in good standing. The following transactions are not considered a Qualifying Purchase: gift certificate payments, gift card purchases, send money transactions not associated with a purchase, and payments made when you are not logged into your PayPal account. If the payment is refunded or cancelled at any time, you are not eligible for the Offer. If the payment is refunded after you receive the cash back, PayPal will deduct the cash back amount from your account.

I find that the fine print is very important for these deals.

There are currently so many movies I want to see in theatres right now (or nearly out!), and so little time! I want to see Beauty & The Beast 3D, Tin Tin and the second Sherlock Holmes.

    Expiry: 27th, January 27 2012

Thanks to sanders for posting this deal on the community forum.

eBay & Paypal: Spend $50 on eBay via Paypal and get $10 Off Next Purchase

eBay & Paypal: Spend $50 on eBay via Paypal and get $10 Off Next Purchase

When you spend $50 on eBay and use paypal to pay, you will get $10 off your next purchase on eBay.

Unfortunatly I can’t find the terms/conditions for this deal: it doesn’t seem to be up on Paypal’s website or on eBay’s yet. However, the offer starts today and runs through the 15th, November 2011. It is good for one purchase only.

From my understanding of previous eBay/Paypal deals: shipping costs don’t count towards the $50. So it has to be a buy of $50 pre-tax, pre-shipping.

Check out this JVC GC-FM2A Full HD Pocket Video Camera, Camcorder from JVC Canada. They only cost $69 each (over 60% off original retail value), and are manufacture refurbished.

Cineplex: Get $10 Cash Back With $20 Purchase When Paying With Paypal

Cineplex: Get $10 Cash Back With $20 Purchase When Paying With Paypal

Spend $20 on movie tickets at Cineplex online or on your mobile device and get $10 cash back when you select PayPal as your form of payment. Take advantage of this deal until 17 February 2011.

There are two romantic comedies that I would like to see, No Strings Attached and Just Go With It. I think I’d be able to convince my husband to see either of those movies for Valentine’s Day. Going to the movies seems to be getting more and more expensive, so this deal puts some cash back in your pocket so you can enjoy some popcorn at the movie!

The maximum amount of cash back allowed per account is $10. The $10 cash back will be transferred into your PayPal account on or before 31 March 2011.

    Logitech G27 Driving Wheel For $260 @ Tigerdirect.ca

Posted by on December 29, 2010 at 4:00 AM

    Logitech G27 Driving Wheel For $260 @ Tigerdirect.ca

Right now at Tigerdirect Canada, they are offering the Logitech G27 driving wheel for only $279.97.

The price at Tigerdirect is $279.97, as you can see above. But as Avigayil mentioned in this previous Paypal post, if you pay with Paypal before the 31st December 2010, they will credit your account with $20, making the G27 wheel only $259.97. Bargain-licious! UPDATE - note on the Tigerdirect site that the paypal cashback offer now semms to have been cancelled early.

Though the G27 is out of stock at many places, just to price compare elsewhere: $350 at Best Buy, $370 at Futureshop, $344 at Newegg.ca, and $330 at NCIX.

You might think this is pretty expensive for a console accessory, but it’s a very popular device! I was trying to decide between the G25 and the G27 wheel, as my other half wanted one for Christmas. I ended up going for the cheaper G25 model. But we’ve been so busy over Christmas that we haven’t had the chance to use it yet!

Also, if you are wanting to use these wheels with certain games, have a google and check for compatibility – they’re not compatible with all racing games. This particular wheel can be used on your PC or PS3.

Spend $75 on Ebay.ca, get $10 Back with Paypal

Spend $75 on Ebay.ca, get $10 Back with Paypal

As the holidays are gearing up this is a great way to keep money in your pocket, or put it back in there. If you register your paypal email address at the following link you can get $10 back on a $75 purchase on eBay.ca when you pay with paypal.

There are some rules, so I will try to sum them up for you. The $75 cannot include taxes or shipping, and must be on one listing, though it can be multiple items from one listing. The offer expires December 1, 2010 and you have to have your Paypal email addy registered to take advantage of the offer. For the full list of terms & conditions click HERE.

I like these offers because there are so rarely any good offers from Paypal / eBay that help you save money (besides the really good deals you find on eBay).

Tiger Direct Canada: $10 Paypal Cashback (Spend $100)

This is another great Christmas offer from Paypal, in conjunction with Tiger Direct. The deal is this – if you spend $100 @ Tiger Direct, and subsequently pay by paypal, you will receive $10 cashback into your paypal account, to do with as you please.

And remember, because of the current Tiger Direct shipping promo, anything over $100 is shipped for free!

Tiger Direct has recently had some excellent prices on computers and electronics, so if there was something in particular you were thinking of buying for Christmas, then I would have a browse!

Ends 14th December 2009 (If you don’t see the paypal logo on the above landing page, it probably means the offer has ended).
