I am very fond of Orange Julius because I love fruit! It just tastes so darn good and even though Orange Julius can be a bit expensive I know I am getting a ton of vitamins and minerals in every swallow. That is delicious!

This promo looks like it is to celebrate the launch of their new Pineapple Berry Daylight smoothie, but the coupon will apply to any smoothie you want.

I am not the world’s biggest fan of smoothies at all, I could take them or leave them. I much prefer proper juice, and I really love the fruit juice combos from Orange Julius!

I’ve never actually tried a “tea” based smoothie, it doesn’t really grab me. I always think that smoothies should contain lovely ingredients of fresh and exotic fruits – not tea!!

They seem to now be selling these fruit drink lemonades, which is probably why they are promoting it with this free coupon. It looks like you can buy plain lemonade julius, raspberry lemonade julius, or strawberry lemonade julius. From the photo above, they do look very refreshing!

I think I’ll go for the Strawberry one! Smoothies are delicious, they are a great snack. They fill you up and are nice and healthy, that’s why I like them.

It appears to be a deal in conjunction with SPC. The coupon states in the T&Cs that you need to present the printout and ID to claim your freebie, it doesn’t say you have to show an SPC card too, so this freebie should be applicable to everyone.

If you join the Orange Julius Quench Club online, they will send you email newsletters from time to time. They don’t send them very often, they don’t spam you like mad or anything.

When you first sign up, they send you a free printable coupon for a free 20oz fruit smoothie with the purchase of the same. They also send you an email coupon on your birthday, plus various other coupons throughout the year. An example of a free coupon I have received in the past was this $1 discount coupon for Orange Julius.

I must say I’m not a big smoothie fan… I much prefer the plain fruit juices. My sister got one of those mad centrifugal juicers last summer, and I went a bit mad with the juice making! I was making lots of strange concoctions and storing them in the fridge… and making people taste a little tiny bit of each one!

I’m definitely more of a fruit juice fan… I really don’t like vegetable juices. I tried carrot and ginger, and nearly puked. But the juicer was great – you could do a huge batch of orange juice and it would last you for a day or two, when kept in the refrigerator.

UPDATE: I’m bumping up this older thread with the newest coupon from Orange Julius. It’s for the same as below, a $1 discount on any premium smoothies, and it will last until the 4th of January 2009.

I got a rather handy printable coupon from Orange Julius today. The free coupon is worth a $1 discount off the cost of any of their Premium Fruit Smoothies in store. They’re pictured the “Merry Berry” smoothie on their coupon, and it looks delicious! There’s a store locator on their website if you want to find the one closest to you.

If you are a regular customer, you could even consider buying the gift cards – I don’t necessarily mean as a gift, I mean to use for yourself. Because if you buy a $20 gift card, they give you a free coupon for a free 20oz premium fruit smoothie. You can’t order this online though, that’s only available to US customers, but you can ask in-store and pick it up there.

The coupon expires on the 14^th of December 2008, so doesn’t last very long.

I’m not a huge fan of smoothies, maybe they’re too healthy in my mind! I do like plain ones, just strawberries and watermelon or something, but I don’t like it when they add things like spices or ginger etc.
