NewEgg Canada Marketplace: Free Shipping on Watches, Clothing, Sunglasses & More

NewEgg Canada Marketplace: Free Shipping on Watches, Clothing, Sunglasses & More

Get free shipping on a bunch of great items from all sorts of vendors in NewEgg Canada’s Marketplace!

NewEgg Canada Marketplace is still sort of new so I’ll give you a quick heads up on what it is. Basically it lets vendors sell their wares on NewEgg Canada’s site. The vendor doesn’t have to set up their own eCommerce and fulfillment solution, NewEgg does it for them.

NewEgg is known for their electronics and computer gear but the Marketplace is for anything. You can sell watches, makeup, jewelry, clothes and yes, even electronics. If NewEgg isn’t normally a website you’d look at, NewEgg Marketplace might be. For the most part, the Marketplace doesn’t interest me personally. There is a bit of electronic/computer gear and some tools (I really need a new drill…) but it seems to mostly be fashion items named after people I don’t know. If Borsa Lea, Michael Kors, VOLO, A Julian or Yves Saint Laurent mean anything to you, you’re in the right place.

And of course we have free shipping on a bunch of stuff. Nothing stings quite like finding a great deal or the perfect item only to have a big shipping cost slapped on it. Keep in mind that this does not apply to all items in the Marketplace nor does it apply to the main NewEgg store.

NewEgg Canada: Save $60 on Kingston HyperX 240GB SSD (Just $180)

Posted by on February 13, 2014 at 9:30 PM

NewEgg Canada: Save $60 on Kingston HyperX 240GB SSD (Just $180)

Get yo’ speed on. HyperX. $179.99. NewEgg Canada.

An SSD means speed. You get it so stuff runs faster and it certainly works. Pop it in your computer and load your OS on it and you cut boot times down by a huge margin. Been playing a certain game a lot lately? Load it on the SSD and your load times are cut down. It’s also great if you manipulate big files like video or images.

And if you’re going to go with a flash memory based method of storage, you can’t do much better than Kingston. Kingston has been one of the leading names in RAM and other forms of flash memory for a long time and they’re continuing that reputation with their SSDs.

I work with a guy who has had some big problems with another brand SSD and when he saw this he decided to pick it up (assuming out bonus comes in) and finally put an end to the ridiculous issues he has been having with the other brand.

It was $239.99 but you’re saving $60 so you get it for $179.99. You can also choose 120GB and 480GB which are on sale as well. Shipping is $6.99.

NewEgg Canada Marketplace Now Open – Shop For Watches, Household Items, Automotive & Tons of Other Items

Posted by on February 7, 2014 at 10:30 PM

NewEgg Canada Marketplace Now Open Shop For Watches, Household Items, Automotive & Tons of Other Items

NewEgg Canada isn’t just for technology anymore! Check out the Marketplace!

Usually we write deals here. We’re a deals website after all. But from time to time a new store pops up that we want to tell you about. This time it isn’t a new store per se but rather a new service offered by a store we know and love: NewEgg Canada. NewEgg Canada has launched their Marketplace. It’s similar to Amazon’s Marketplace and let’s other retailers sell their wares on a platform you trust. Sure you can go to the “Big Jim’s Downstairs Medical Supply Shop” website. But wouldn’t you feel better getting Big Jim’s quality tinctures from NewEgg? Yeah, me too.

The best thing about this whole setup is that the Marketplace is curated. You don’t have to just wander around a website, NewEgg is going to curate pages for you. For example, right now you can shop for watches, jewelry, appliances, electronics and even a scooter on their Valentines Page. I’m not 100% sure but I’d have to assume they are going to have a Christmas page, summer page, Canada Day page, etc…

Like I mentioned, the best part about this is that it all processes through NewEgg Canada, a company we here at BargainMoose love on a disturbingly deep level. Shipping will vary like it does through NewEgg, payments go through your NewEgg account, it all just works.

Newegg Canada: 27% Off Krups & Heineken B100 BeerTender – Now $109

Posted by on February 4, 2014 at 10:00 PM

Newegg Canada: 27% Off Krups & Heineken B100 BeerTender Now $109

No, what you’re looking at above isn’t a Keurig. Though it may look like one, it’s actually a home beer draughting system and with Valentine’s Day right around the corner, this could definitely turn into the best present ever. Even better is that it’s currently 27% off at Newegg: now just $109.99 (reg. $149.99).

Though it only has 3 stars out of 5 on Newegg, it does, however, have an average of 4 stars out of 5 on with over 130 reviews. Plus, this nifty device is actually priced as high as $237.47 on!

In fact, here’s what one reviewer had to say about it:

For beer drinkers, how can you go wrong with your own keg? The mini kegs are a little overpriced. So if you drink like a fish, it’s not for you. But if you want a fresh, cold, amazing drink after a long day at work, go ahead and spoil yourself. Just don’t forget to freeze some mugs!

Admittedly, the only drawback is perhaps the lack of selection when it comes to the beer you can use with this machine but if you or your hubby are a fan of any of the following, then I’m sure you will love this handy machine that will keep your beer at the perfect temperature: Heineken, Heineken Premium Light or Newcastle Brown Ale Draughtkeg.

Even with the $19.99 shipping fee that is automatically applied to this BeerTender, it’s still a better deal than anywhere else.

What do you think? Would you consider this for a Valentine’s Day gift?

Newegg Canada: Up To 28% Off LG & Toshiba TVs + Up To $100 Gift Card

Posted by on January 28, 2014 at 5:00 PM

Newegg Canada: Up To 28% Off LG & Toshiba TVs + Up To $100 Gift Card

Sure, you could walk or drive over to any electronics store right this second and browse for a new television but do you really want to risk the salesperson upselling you as they always do? Check out instead Newegg’s sale on LG and Toshiba televisions and you could save up to 28% and get up to $100 back via a gift card just by shopping from the comfort of your own home.

Newegg’s promotion includes reductions on the following 5 televisions:

First off, let’s clear up the fact that the word “refurbished” is not one to be scared of. It just means that a part within the given electronic may have been replaced by the manufacturer or quite simply, the box may have been dented during shipping, but the chances of you getting a lemon are really the same as buying a brand spanking new product.

When shopping for a new TV, the main factors I generally take into consideration are the price, size and of course, picture quality. In this case, though, the first choice boasts only 720p, while the others feature 1080p, the price is certainly the most appealing, but that’s only if you’re on the hunt for a relatively small TV – perhaps for the kitchen or a guest room. Otherwise, the last TV on the list, the Toshiba 47TL515UC may be worth considering, especially since it comes with 3D technology, 240HZ and built-in wireless networking. It’s only 13% off the original price but it does also come with a $100 gift card that you can then spend on anything else on Newegg’s site.

Shipping costs are different for each product, so be sure to check those before ordering.

NewEgg Canada: Toshiba 1TB USB 3.0 2.5″ External HDD For Only $50

Posted by on December 29, 2013 at 2:30 PM

NewEgg Canada: Toshiba 1TB USB 3.0 2.5 External HDD For Only $50

Get the fastest, smallest, cheapest external HDD around only from NewEgg Canada!

Okay, maybe it isn’t the fastest, smallest and cheapest around, but it uses a 2.5″ inch drive, which is the smallest common hard drive form factor. It is using USB 3.0 which is the fastest common connector around. Finally, at $49.99, well, you aren’t going to find a better price anywhere that I know of.

I know 1TB isn’t that much nowadays, but the USB 3.0 external drives are still pretty expensive, so getting a similar drive in 2TB bumps you up in to the $100+ range. Since it is only 1TB, I’d probably use this for active data. That is, data that I am going to be using in the future, such as a TV series or bunch of movies I plan to watch, a video I am editing, a picture I want to show to the family, etc… I likely wouldn’t keep my Christmas movies and college labs on it, because those aren’t files I am going to need in the near future. I can keep those on my slower, bigger external drives.

The drive is normally $30 more at $79.99. Shipping is $4.99. I don’t know that this is specifically a Boxing Week deal, but it’s great regardless.

Newegg Canada: Boxing Day Deals on Now

Newegg Canada: Boxing Day Deals on Now

Newegg’s Boxing Day sale has already started with deals on a whole truckload of electronics!

I picked out a few of the steeper discounted deals to show you just how much of a gold field this place can be with a little mining.

Each item has it’s own shipping cost but given these deals are already pretty steep – the shipping doesn’t cut into the deal all too much. I am really tempted by those Mikros headphones – the discount is just driving me crazy! Such a beautiful and quality set for that cheap… *swoon*

Newegg Canada: $25 + Shipping for HP Deskjet 2510 Printer (Save $35)

Posted by on December 17, 2013 at 2:30 PM

Newegg Canada: $25 + Shipping for HP Deskjet 2510 Printer (Save $35)

Newegg Canada is offering the HP Deskjet 2510 Printer on sale from $59.99 down to $29.99. When you use the coupon code 1213CAD04 the product comes down to just $24.99 (plus $9.99 shipping).

Make sure to use the coupon code above when you place your order for the extra $5 off. That will offset the price of shipping (which is $9.99 for this unit). You will pay $24.99 for the printer + $9.99 for shipping which brings your total cost to $34.98. I price compared with which has this unit for $69.99, it’s $75 @ NCIX. It’s also $35 @ Canada Computers, but shipping is extra too.

This is an all in one printer so it includes print, scan, and copy. It can print in black or colour and is compatible with HP 61 ink cartridges. It comes with both a colour HP 61 and a black HP 61 ink cartridge which are worth more than the price you are paying for them and the printer together.

Newegg Canada 12 Days Of Techmas: Today’s Deals Are On Vacuums

Newegg Canada 12 Days Of Techmas: Todays Deals Are On Vacuums

Newegg’s Twelve Days of Techmas are currently in full swing, with new deals being made available every day!

Focusing on vacuums, today’s Newegg’s Days of Techmas has the following sales:

The Shark vacuum is the one with the most reviews and surprisingly, is actually as high as $446.20 on Amazon, which means that you can get it for close to 65% off from Newegg! It’s a pretty incredible deal if you ask me, especially when you factor in the fact that it also comes with pet cleaning tools, a 30ft power cord and a 24″ crevice tool. Out of a general consensus of five stars out of five, here’s what one reviewer had to say about this vacuum:

This may be one of the best vacuum cleaners I have ever used, its super easy to put together out of the box no directions needed. This thing really sucks no pun intended, just as good as any Dyson for a fraction of the cost. The lift away pare is great you just lift and go, makes it really easy to clean stairs. I don’t think you’ll find anything better for the money.

If you’re in the market for a new vacuum, today is your lucky day! Keep in mind that shipping fees vary per product.

Ok, first things first – there are 30 pages of deals here and, although I love you all very, very much, I’m not going to summarize them all. As with most NewEgg deals the front page is loaded and the rest of the deals are just ok. I will pick out some of the better front page deals for you.

NewEgg Canada: 256GB Toshiba Q SSD For Only $130 (Save $80)

Posted by on November 29, 2013 at 10:30 AM

NewEgg Canada: 256GB Toshiba Q SSD For Only $130 (Save $80)Speed up your computer with a 256GB Toshiba Q SSD from NewEgg Canada!

I can’t imagine this lasting long, so I’ll make it quick. An SSD, for the unaware, is like a super fast hard drive. If you put Windows or a video game or some other program on it, it will load faster and likely run better. They are quite expensive compared to regular hard drives but this deal, well, this deal is awesome. I was looking at a deal earlier on an SSD that was half the size and only $10 less, so this is a really great deal. This one was $209.99 and you’re saving $80. The final price is $129.99.

If you’re a gamer, for you to use any sort of data intensive program like video editing, or even if you have a home server that pushes files out all the time, this is a great buy. Even if you don’t need this, it’s still a great buy since it should increase performance all around.

You can get the smaller and larger versions on sale too, but this one is the best buy. There is a limit of two per customer and shipping is $4.99. Isn’t Black Friday great!?

MSI 17.3″ Gaming Notebook for $1600 & a FREE 50” TV @ Newegg Ultimate Black Friday Sale!

Posted by on November 29, 2013 at 2:00 AM

MSI 17.3 Gaming Notebook for $1600 & a FREE 50” TV @ Newegg Ultimate Black Friday Sale!

We recently got word in an email from that they will be offering a pretty hot deal on an MSI gaming laptop for the Black Friday weekend. The MSI GS70 2OD-229US Intel Core i7 4700HQ notebook is currently priced at $1600 plus $10 shipping – that’s an OK price for the notebook, but the clincher is that you get a free 50” LED LDTV!

When Newegg first emailed me, the price on this MSI notebook was due to be $159.99 (!) – Shawn spotted the deal and we thought it was amazing! But an email to Newegg confirmed that was sadly a typo.

A quick note on the specification of the notebook:

  • Intel Core i7 4700HQ(2.40GHz)
  • 12GB Memory 500GB HDD 128GB SSD
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M
  • 1920 x 1080
  • Windows 8

They’re classifying this as a gaming laptop, so if that’s what you are looking for, then consider this deal. I showed the spec to my other half and he was quite impressed.

We asked Newegg for more info on the TV itself but they weren’t able to give a lot – this is all they said, “It’s a 50” LED 1080p HDTV.” Even for a non-branded 50″ TV like that, you’d be talking about at least $600, so it’s quite a good free gift with purchase. UPDATE – the brand is Changhong.

We have no ideas of the quantities that are going to be available of this MSI laptop and TV combo bundle, so if you are interested, buy it when you can.

Obviously some of these are discounts off the retail price. Like the Klipsch speakers for instance. No one sells them for $450 but the end result is still the same – a great deal. Same with the Logitech Gaming headset. It’s normally discounted $50 so really you’re saving $30 off of whatever they usually sell them for. You could really bump a lot of gifts off your list with this sale.
