Monday Meme Of The Week: Cupcake Dog!
This week, we bring you a meme in the form of dramatic cupcake dog. It’s Stains, an Australian shepherd.
The poor doggy – it looks haunted! The creepy music makes the clip even funnier.

OK, I’m not even going to try and disguise it and trick you guys, I’ll just blog about it. This week’s meme is the “Rick Roll!”
So here’s what people do: when participating in normal forum chat, someone posts a link to a helpful resource on the topic of discussion. Unbeknownst to the forum members until they click through… it actually links to the Rick Astley music video “Never gonna give you up.” It’s known as an “interruption fad.”

This week, here’s a rib tickling meme for you. It’s Miss Teen South Carolina, a beauty pageant entrant. When asked why a fifth of Americans can’t locate the US on a world map…. hilarity ensued…
OK, we probably shouldn’t be laughing at this one… but she’s just so dumb!
Another oldie this week in the Bargainmoose series of memes! It’s the dramatic prairie dog!
I’ll not say much about the video, just give it a watch for a few seconds of fun.
This is an oldie but a goodie – the Star Wars kid (original version).
This video was originally recorded by Ghyslain Raza, a 14 year old French Canadian high school student… who went on to internet fame!
Now, it has gone on to spawn many more off-spins, such as this digitally remastered version, complete with light saber special effects! It’s been all over the place too, such as on American Dad, South Park, & Weird Al Yankovich’s White And Nerdy (1.25).
This week, I’m showing you “Daft Hands.” It’s a good little video, and a good little tune. The video takes about 50 seconds before the lyrics start, but it’s worth the wait.
What’s really special about this video is that it was done in one take, no edits, no breaks.
You might also be interested to see “Daft Bodies.” 2 girls doing the same, except with the words written on their bodies this time.
Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. Kudos.
I’m sure we’ve all heard of the Diet Coke and Mentos phenomenon by now. For those of you who have not, you might be interested to hear of the strange properties of diet coke when you put some mentos in it. It goes mad!
Some great videos include:
There are loads more on youtube, just do a search.
While I’m not sure if Susan Boyle has reached “meme” status yet, she certainly was a massive hit on youtube over this last week! The video has broken a few youtube records for most viewings in a certain time period, and she’s been featured all over the world on news shows.
Just give it a watch:
Great, eh?
Here’s your dose of hilarity for this week! Let’s just call it “chairperson.”
Hear the strange cracking noise when he is in the middle of a sentence at about 10 seconds… then wait for the fun!
LOLs ensue.
OK, if you’re not a gamer, you might not really get this meme of the week – Leeroy Jenkins.
It’s a World of Warcraft video, where a team of people are apparently about to go on a mission. Now, I’m not a World of Warcraft player, so I’m not really down with the lingo. But there are a few bits of the video which get me giggling.
It has also been rumoured that this was a setup, but apparently it was just a prank by Ben on his teammates.
Leeroy is now world-famous in the gaming world.
Oh it’s another adorable moment from the kiddies this week, in the Monday meme! This video features the 56 second adventure of Harry and Charlie and a nasty finger biting incident – Charlie Bit My Finger.
Charlie… that really hurt!
Ok, we’ve got American Idol, Pop Idol… etc etc. I’m not a big fan of those shows, but I certainly am a fan of the outtakes. One of the funniest I have ever seen was “Ken Lee” on Bulgarian Idol.
Check it out:
Ken Lee…. Tulibu dibu douchoo….
This is one of the oldest memes I know of. It consists of a slightly chubby guy miming along to the song “Dragostea din tei” as performed by Moldovan pop band O-Zone (obscure!) in 2004. Check out Numa Numa on youtube.
His actions are just hilarious. At least he’s happy! And it’s a really happy tune.
He was even in an episode of South Park, pictured there with Tron Guy.

Just another manic Monday, eh?! This week, I’m going cat mad. A friend linked me to this strange little video on Youtube, “Kittens, Inspired By Kittens.”
With many hilarious phrases such as:
Really made me chuckle!
Here’s another meme on a Monday for your fun and enjoyment! Last week “David After Dentist” hit the country by storm. It’s a short video clip of a young lad who is a bit out of it, after a visit to the dentist. It features such hilarious comments as:
Classic.
The video has spawned a lot of spin-offs too! If you’re familiar with the Chad Vader webisodes, you might like “Chad after dentist.” The video also translated quite well into “David after the divorce.” I think that’s the marker of a good internet meme – when people start copying it and spreading their own interpretations.
