The  deal seems pretty good in and of itself… but I have some interesting info to share with you. I posted a Thyme Maternity coupon back in March 2009, but it is still valid, until the end of 2009.

Now, the small print on the coupon seems to indicate that you CAN use this with other offers, just not with any other coupons. It will get you an extra $15 off your $100 spend. I reckon that the discounted order total would have to be over $100 before you can then apply the coupon.

Now, I haven’t tested this out myself, but from reading the T&Cs, I can’t see a problem with it. Please let me know if it works for you!

This free coupon for Thyme Maternity is slightly better than the last coupon I posted for $15 off $100. However, the new one expires on the 30^th of June 2009, and the older coupon will last until December 2009.

Going by my sisters’ experiences, maternity clothes can be quite expensive! They found it quite hard to get comfortable maternity pants, at affordable prices. That’s where free coupons for maternitywear can come in really handy! You could buy yourself a few pairs of stretchy pants to last you through those last few months of tummy stretching.

You don’t always have to buy at the big box stores, it’s good to support the little ones too. Mamagoddessbirthshop.com is one such business. They are a proudly Canadian site for mamas, which sells a load of things, from organic herbal teas to water birth pools!!

I’m on their mailing list for email newsletters, and they emailed me today with an interesting coupon code. Apparently, they’ve been having server problems, so decided to release a 20% discount coupon in celebration of them getting fixed! Here are the details:

I do find their store name quite odd – Mama Goddess Birth Shop! It’s a bit of a mouthful, but I guess it tells you exactly what they are – a maternity store. If you want, you can join their newsletter, and receive their monthly updates, including more discount coupons.

This “blossoming belly” tee-shirt is pretty cute! It would be $15.16 after the 20% coupon code was applied. They actually say it’s extra long, which makes it perfect for doing yoga in! I’m not preggers, but I always have that problem at yoga – you’re stretching about the place, and constantly having to pull down your tee to cover your belly or your bum cleavage.

If you fancy a home birth, how about an inflatable birthing pool!? The “La Bessine” pool would be $112 after the discount coupon is applied. You can even buy all the accessories to go with it, such as waterproof sheets and debris nets!!!

Shipping:

If you live in the Vancouver area, you can actually save on shipping costs by picking up your order. Otherwise, you have to pay extra for shipping within Canada, but it seems fairly reasonable, and depends on how much you are spending. At least the 20% coupon helps towards those shipping costs!

As you can see from the coupon itself, there are also a few other coupons on there which you can use in-store @ Toys R Us Canada (Babies R Us). They were previously mentioned in this Toys R Us blog post, but I think the coupon for Thyme Maternity is worth a special mention. The free coupon is good until the end of December 2009! Ages to go! So even if you’re just trying to get pregnant now, or have an inkling that you might be in the near future, don’t forget to make use of the coupon on Thyme Maternity wear!

I was having a nosey round their site, and a lot of their maternitywear seems to be pretty stylish! Alas, their website uses flash, so I cannot direct link you to any of the nice products. They’ve got quite a nice range of tops and tees, even blouses.

I’ve never really thought about this – but they sell maternity lingerie! I know there are special nursing bras and things, but Thyme maternity also sell special pregnancy panties. I guess I just assumed that your normal panties just fit you perfectly, but I guess there could be complications.

It’s quite a short-running discount code, you only have a few days left to use it. Bravado even have a very useful page if you want some maternity bras, but are unsure what to order. If you’ve never heard of Bravado Designs, have a quick Google search and hunt down some product reviews. I spotted this one at classymommy.com, regarding the Silk Seamless Nursing Bra.
