Discounted Things To Do When Visiting Toronto This Summer

If you are visiting the big city of Toronto this summer, I’ve compiled a list of discounted things you can do.

Check out this WagJag Jaunt, which saves you $190 off the cost of a hotel and admission to Canada’s Wonderland. You’ll get a one night stay in a Delta room at the Delta Toronto East, two adult tickets to Canada’s Wonderland, a $20 on-site dining credit, late checkout and complimentary parking. This is a really great deal for only $129.

In June, Cats is playing at David Mirvish’s Panasonic Theatre. With this Living Social deal, you’ll get a ticket to the performance and an official t-shirt and program, all for only $99.

For only $10, you can take a one-hour Toronto harbour tour and view Toronto’s skyline from the water with this Groupon. The regular cost is $28.19.

You’ll have to eat while in Toronto and this Groupon is a great deal for a Distillery District restaurant. Two can eat three courses for $55 or four can eat three courses for only $99 at Tappo Wine Bar and Restaurant.

If you are planning a three-night stay, look into this See Toronto Now deal, with one night free on a three-night stay.

The CityPass is an amazing deal with admission to five great Toronto attractions (CN Tower, Ontario Science Centre, Toronto Zoo, Casa Loma and the ROM) for only $62.12 (saving you $46) per adult and $36.87 per child (saving you $36).

Check each deal for expiry and more details.

Get $10 Starbucks Card For $5 @ LivingSocial (Quick)

Get $10 Starbucks Card For $5 @ LivingSocial (Quick)

Keen-eyed Bargainmooser Emma has just emailed me a link to a great deal on Living Social Canada – they’re offering a $10 Starbucks gift card for only $5!

The Starbucks deal is only available for the next 12 hours, so get in fast.-  it seems to have been updated and as of Thursday morning, there are another 17 hours left to purchase. As I write this, over 41 thousand people have already purchased this deal – so you can see how popular it is! When you purchase the deal on Living Social, they will email you the $10 gift card – then you can just use it in-store at Starbucks Canada.

I’ve just ordered one myself – I will definitely make use of this! I treat myself to a Starbucks about once a month. My favourite is the Mocha Frapuccino – even in the heart of winter. I’m not a great big fan of warm coffee beverages, but the frapuccino hits the spot for me.

What are your favourite menu items from Starbucks?

Pay $20 at Living Social to get a $40 voucher for Stuck On You. Stuck on You specializes in labels and personalized merchandise.

I found this deal in Montreal so if you get redirected, just check there.

Stuck on You is all about loosing less by having everything labeled. Also, when it does get lost it is easy to find in the lost and found.

Stuck on You has these great packs that can cover your needs at a good price.

For example, this 0 – 5 Pack costs $49.95, and is worth $63.30. The pack includes:

    • 50 Stick On Clothing Labels – 55 x 10mm
    • 25 Small Name Labels – 50 x 20mm

Living Social: $48 for a Proliss Infusion Hair Straightener at ISO Beauty (Reg $300)

Living Social: $48 for a Proliss Infusion Hair Straightener at ISO Beauty (Reg $300)

Living Social is offering a voucher to get your very own Proliss Infusion Hair Straightener from ISO Beauty for only $48 – regular price being $300! For Canadians there is an extra $8 shipping charge that will be charged at checkout.

I found this deal in Ottawa, but it is good nation wide.

    Some features:

    • heats up to 450 degrees
    • know when it’s ready thanks to the LED indicator light.
    • eight-foot swivel cord

I know that quality straighteners can be expensive, so I think this deal is pretty nice. The $8 shipping charge is mere peanuts for shipping from the USA to Canada.

Living Social & Clearly Contacts Deal

Posted by on January 13, 2011 at 8:41 AM

Living Social & Clearly Contacts Deal

Bargainmooser Jenn from PayingMyself has emailed me with a deal she spotted on Livingsocial Ottawa today. For only $49, you can get $100 to spend on eyewear from Clearlycontacts.ca!

The deal is available for another 19 hours from the time I write this post.

    Some terms:

Limit 1 voucher per transaction/order. Shipping, handling and tax not included. Your deal cannot be applied to any eye-glasses item that is designated “Coupons not applicable”; this will be denoted on each specific item. Valid only for eye-glasses purchases only. Other conditions apply. Expires on July 14, 2011.

As you can see, the deal doesn’t seem to apply to contact lenses, only to their range of prescription glasses. But it’s perfect if you need another pair of glasses.

ClearlyContacts sometimes offer coupon codes, like the ones we feature every month here. You probably won’t be able to use the Livingsocial offer on top of those.

I wear glasses on a daily basis, and I have 2 pairs that I currently go between. I am always mis-placing one or the other though. And for some reason, they always seem to congregate on my washroom window!

    FoxyOriginals $60 Credit For $30 @ LivingSocial

Posted by on November 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM

    FoxyOriginals $60 Credit For $30 @ LivingSocial

LivingSocial.com is a similar site to Groupon.com, which organises group buys to get us some really good deals. Today on the Mississauga LivingSocial, you can buy $60 credit for FoxyOriginals.com, for only $30! That’s a 50% discount.

When you click through to the above link, LivingSocial has the annoying habit of changing what you see based on your IP address, where you are in the country. So you might have to manually navigate to Mississauga in their list of cities, as that’s where this deal is linked to. Click “more deals” on the left of the page, then browse to Mississagua in the list of cities. You don’t actually have to live in Mississauga, you can make use of this deal from anywhere in Canada.

You buy the $60 FoxyOriginals voucher for $30 on LivingSocial, and then you can spend it on Foxy at a later stage.

In case you haven’t heard of them, I’ve posted about FoxyOriginals quite a few times here on Bargainmoose. They are a really popular Canadian jewellery store, which sells nice pieces that even Oprah likes!

As I write this deal, there are 17 hours left for you to make your purchase.

    Thanks Lena!

UPDATE – Tuesday 23rd November 2010 – this deal is now on in Edmonton LivingSocial.

Living Social: $15 for $30 Worth at Costume Express

This deal is on for another 20 hours! Found this deal under Living Social: Edmonton, but you don’t have to be in Edmonton to use it. You can get $30 worth of Halloween Costumes from Costume Express for just $15. Shipping and taxes not included.

Halloween Express looks to be a Canadian Company and they offer free shipping on orders over $65. Besides that shipping is really reasonable, budget shipping ranges from $3 – $5.

    Fine print:

Limit 1 per person per order for yourself and 2 additional vouchers may be purchased as gifts and must be gifted to two different customers • Limit one voucher per order; cannot be combined with other vouchers • Shipping and taxes not included • Expires on 12/31/10

I have bought 2 vouchers from Living Social before and they are fabulous, my second favourite to Groupon.
