Lenovo Canada Labour Day Sale: Save Up To 33% On Laptops & Computers With Coupon Code (Expired)

Lenovo Canada Labour Day Sale: Save Up To 33% On Laptops & Computers With Coupon Code (Expired)

Back to school, back to school…whenever I hear those three words, I still somehow hear Adam Sandler’s voice ringing in my ears from Billy Madison. With Lenovo’s labour day sale, it’s no wonder why these words are so relevant at this time – after all, there is a myriad of money saving deals on laptops, computers, and computer accessories that are sure to get students and parents alike psyched for back to school shopping. At this time, we’re going to look at some of the best finds in Lenovo’s labour day sale, where you’d be able to save anywhere from 23% to 33% off of the retail price.

Click here to check this deal @ Lenovo now

  • Coupon Code: DOORBUSTER
  • Discount: Depends On Deal (From 23% to 33%)
  • Expires: Unknown

In order to enjoy some decent savings on the following laptops, you’ll need to enter the coupon code DOORBUSTER when purchasing the selection that best suits your needs. Listed below are some Lenovo laptops that you can get at a great price during this promotion:

Lenovo Y40 – $729 (Regular Price: $1,099 – Save 33%)
If you’re looking for a laptop that’s powerful enough to provide you with an enjoyable gaming experience, the Lenovo Y40 is the laptop for you. I’ve been burned before when it comes to choosing a laptop that had less than satisfactory specifications; I didn’t think I would play many games on my laptop compared to my desktop computer, but I was unfortunately very wrong (trying to play a game with lag can really try your patience). With a powerful AMD Radeon R9 M275 2 GB video card under the hood, this would be wonderful for gamers. To show you how much of a deal this is, the very similar Lenovo Y50 sells on Newegg for $1,199.99 (plus $12.99 shipping).

Lenovo Z50 – $419 (Regular Price: $599 – Save 30%)
You’ll have ample room to save projects, photos, videos, and music on the Lenovo Z50, thanks to its massive 1TB hard drive. This laptop retails for $699.99 (plus $9.99 shipping) on Newegg – that’s $280.99 more than the price that’s being offered by Lenovo!

Lenovo U40p – $579 (Regular Price: $799.99 – Save 27%)
If you find yourself “on the go” constantly, the Lenovo U40p can best accommodate your needs. I know I’m traveling constantly as a freelance writer, so it’s important to have a laptop that’s travel friendly like this model is. It weighs less than four pounds, and has an extended battery life that can last up to ten hours, according to the Lenovo website. The upgraded i7 model can be found on Amazon for a whopping $1,239.82 (plus $13.37 shipping).

Lenovo Flex 2 15 – $739 (Regular Price: $969 – Save 23%)
This particular laptop intrigues me the most. It’s just so different from the others in terms of its appearance, since it’s an incredibly thin and light machine that also has touchscreen support (thanks to its ten-point multitouch display). Here’s a snippet of a review of the Flex 2 15 from Lenovo’s website:

“I really LOVE Stand Mode! I’m an accountant always working from a stack of papers and I can get the built – in keyboard and track pad out of the way! Now I can put papers in front of me and a wireless keyboard off to the side – true desktop replacement but still portable. The built – in keyboard is nice and satiny smooth.”

When September is on the horizon, the one thing that’s typically seen is that there are many back to school sales out there, whether it’s from retail electronics giants, or if they’re popular online retailers. One thing to remember is that these prices don’t include taxes, shipping and handling, or any recycling fees, so keep that in mind when making your purchase. You can also find some great deals on computer accessories and desktop computers on Lenovo’s website, so check out their Labour Day sale by clicking here.

Lenovo Canada: Black Friday Sale on NOW: Up To 36% Off Laptops & Tablets

Posted by on November 26, 2013 at 12:21 PM

Lenovo Canada: Black Friday Sale on NOW: Up To 36% Off Laptops & Tablets

Lenovo Canada has just released its Black Friday list of doorbuster deals and there is up to 36% off to be had on laptops and tablets. The tricky part involving this sale is that there is a different coupon code available for each item and even more specifically, for each model. So be sure to check right below the price for the specific Lenovo eCoupon you need to use at checkout as it won’t be automatically applied.

Though there are loads of laptops and even a couple of tablets to choose from, the laptop that right away caught my attention is the IdeaPad Z510 on sale for $549 instead of its original price of $849 ($300 in savings).

In theory, this should be a ridiculous criteria with regards to picking a laptop but I won’t lie that its color: dark chocolate, definitely caught my attention and had me reading more into the laptop. What I discovered pleasantly surprised me as for its reduced priced, this 15.6″ laptop packs a good deal of punch for anyone on the hunt for a laptop that can achieve the basics (web browsing, email checking and watching videos) and potentially even more. While it probably wouldn’t be able to run a massive game like World Of Warcraft without any lag, it could however be used for ordinary games like those on Big Fish Games and Green Man Gaming — perfect for kids!

Tech-wise, it is powered by a 4th Generation Intel Core i5 processor with 3.10 GHz, Intel HD Graphics 4600 and runs Windows 8 in 64-bit with a 500GB hard drive.

Otherwise, if you’re in the market for a tablet, especially with the holidays right around the corner, then the IdeaTab A300 is definitely worth considering. Though similar to its IdeaTab A100 counterpart, it’s much more powerful for just $46.80 more. On sale for $178.62 (reg. $229), the A300 model boasts quad-core performance, fast connectivity, up to 7 hours of battery life and two cameras (front & back) — all within a 7″ HD display that is neither too big, nor too small for lightweight activities such as web surfing, listening to music and watching your favorite TV shows or movies.

On an even brighter note, free shipping is also available on everything!

Lenovo Canada Coupon Code: Save $100 + Free Shipping On A3000 7″ Android 4.2 Tablet

Posted by on November 3, 2013 at 5:00 PM

Lenovo Canada Coupon Code: Save $100 + Free Shipping On A3000 7 Android 4.2 Tablet

Get seven inches of Lenovo Canada’s A3000 Tablet goodness, complete with Android Jelly Bean!

Click here to get your new A3000 Tablet @ Lenovo.ca now

  • Coupon Code: CAPA3561031
  • Discount: $100 + Free shipping on A3000
  • Expiry: 8th November 2013

The tablet is regularly $229. On the website, they are currently promoting a coupon code that gives you $80 off. That coupon code is fine, but our Kung Fu is better. You get $100 off, so it is only $129! That’s right, $129, full stop.

Now, I’m not saying that this is the best tablet out there, but at that price I’d certainly take a small hit in performance. It’ll still run most apps fine, and you can still use it for email, internet, Facebook, video, Youtube and all those other things you do on a tablet. It might chug a bit if you’re trying to run a high end 3D game on it or something, though.

On top of all that, you get free shipping! Check out more free shipping deals from Bargainmoose. Another good reason to visit the forums: more Lenovo coupons!

Future Shop Canada: Lenovo Refurbished IdeaPad 15.6″ Laptop – $230 (Save $70)

Posted by on August 28, 2013 at 6:00 PM

Future Shop Canada: Lenovo Refurbished IdeaPad 15.6 Laptop $230 (Save $70)

If you really need a laptop but do not have a lot of money to spend, be sure to check out this deal on a Lenovo IdeaPad 15.6″ Laptop – Black (AMD E1-1200 / 320GB HDD / 2GB RAM / Windows 8) – Refurbished. It is on sale for $229.99 so you save $70.

The reviews on this laptop all make mention that the computer is slow, but most the reviews who get past the slow element say you are getting good value for what you pay. The slow issue is an easy fix as these reviewers recommend:

The first thing I did was buy another 4GB memory Simm for $33 and now it performs well for everything.

Little bit slow but i upgraded memory to 4gb. Now its running like i3.

Memory is pretty cheap (as you see a guy upgraded his for $33) and is a really easy fix to the one problem that people seem to find with this computer. Besides that, the computer gets good reviews on everything else and it is really loved for its price point. I found this Corsair 2GB DDR3 1333MHz Laptop Memory (CMSO2GX3M1A1333) – Web Only for only $24.99. It is PC laptop memory, but I would just double-check with Future Shop that it is compatible with the Lenovo IdeaPad.

Now, if you pay with Paypal you can get $10 back when you purchase this laptop, which is a pretty nice bonus. So, instead of paying $229.99 you would be paying $219.99 for a fully functioning laptop. If you did pick up some extra memory at the same time, your total would go over the $250 threshold in which case you would get $25 cash back!

Microsoft Store Canada: Up to $300 Off Windows 8 Computers

Posted by on June 4, 2013 at 9:00 PM

Microsoft Store Canada: Up to $300 Off Windows 8 Computers

HP. Asus, Lenovo, Samsung. Whatever you want, Microsoft has it and they have it for less!

There are some awesome computers at awesome prices here. There aren’t really any that I wouldn’t recommend so pick the one that you feel fits you the best!

The elephant in the room with this deal is the Windows 8 part so I’m going to address that up front. These are great computers and Windows 8 should not turn you off from buying them. I’ll explain why. There are a few things that people don’t like about Windows 8 but let’s tackle the big one: the start menu/button.

Instead of the start menu we now have the start screen which contains all of your programs. So the main difference is that before you had a menu that popped up and now it’s a whole screen. This is quite literally the stupidest complaint about Windows 8. I can’t even think of an argument that makes sense for why this is bad. Instead of opening a menu in the corner and launching programs, you open a new screen. That’s it. You can leave the screen with the click of a mouse or the push of a button just like you did with the old menu. It is functionally unchanged except you can’t see what’s on you’re screen while you’re looking in the start menu. I would submit to you that it is a very limited case for having to have your start menu open at the same time you are reading a website or watching a video. If you’ve opened your start menu, your focus will be there until you are done with it.

As far as the start button, you can just push the start key on your keyboard and, because you whined so much, Microsoft is releasing an update to put the start button back. If you are really so enraged about the change, you can get a program Classic Shell to return your previous menu. People even complain that Windows 8 books in to the start screen. Waitaminute, you’re saying that the operating system immediately brings me to the place where I can launch programs?! That’s horrible! Or maybe it’s an awesome design choice so that you can choose which program to launch immediately on boot instead of having to open a menu and claw through stuff.

This is a deals site, not a tech blog, so I didn’t go into detail or hit all the points I would have had I been writing a tech article but I just wanted to show you that Windows 8 isn’t some terrible demon. I’m not even a Windows guy. I traditionally use Linux and I’m fine with Windows 8. So if you’re looking for a new laptop don’t let Windows 8 scare you away from these awesome deals. Also, they all ship for FREE!

What do you think about Windows 8? Let me know in the comments below!

There are eight laptops available and they are all pretty good computers. Actually, it’s more like eight classes of laptop, and within those classes there are more laptops. For example, if you pick the U410 “Performance and Gaming” laptop, there are five computers ranging from $699 to $1099 with saving as high as $300! These laptops even have touch screens.

The laptop I have is more of a work computer than anything, so while it’s super powerful, we didn’t want to spend a bunch of money on extras like a touchscreen. But I’ll tell you, I’ve reached out and poked my laptop screen more than once expecting something to scroll. I don’t know if it’s because I’m using Windows 8, which is basically a touch screen interface, or if it’s just that I’m used to poking at laptops and tablets but whatever it is, I sometimes wish I had tossed in a few bucks to get a touch screen.

Lenovo Canada Coupon Code: Save Up To 35% + FREE Shipping On Select IdeaPad LaptopsIf the U410 is too much for you, there are tons of other computers for less money. Lenovo does a great job at telling you right up front what the computer is good for.

I think the best deal here is actually the gaming rig. It’s normally $1329 but you can save $510. You get this great system for $819. It’s a bit steeper than most people would like to pay but listen to these specs!

  • 3rd generation Intel® Core™ i7-3630QM
  • 8GB DDR3 RAM
  • NVIDIA® GeForce® GT750M GDDR5 2GB
  • High-Sense 720p HD webcam
  • 14″ HD display

This is a beastly little machine.

Now if you aren’t up for something like that, there is a bunch of cheaper options too. For example, the Lenovo G780 LaptopYou save $370 on this one so you pay $579 instead of the original $949. It’s a 17″ laptop with a Core i5 and 8GB RAM.

Equate Lenovo selling computers to human trafficking? Who? Me? No! Of course Lenovo Canada isn’t selling people on the grey market, but they certainly are giving you some great deals on some great computers. Wow. That intro was a stretch, even for me. That got weird. Any who, I took a look at these computers and picked out a few of the better deals.

There aren’t really any bad deals here, and these three are the ones that caught my eye. I think the first one, the Z400 touch, looks really cool. I have a Windows 8 computer, which I actually enjoy using, but a touch screen would make it all the better. The best bang for your buck is the Y500 because it is super powerful. If you want something a little easier on the budget, the Z580 is a great choice!

Costco.ca: Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 Hybrid Tablet/Ultrabook for only $500! (Save $250)

Posted by on February 7, 2013 at 2:19 PM

Costco.ca: Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 Hybrid Tablet/Ultrabook for only $500! (Save $250)

Can’t decide between an ultrabook and a tablet? Costco Canada and Lenovo Canada have you covered with this sweet deal!

The price on Lenovo’s website is $750 so you’re saving about $250 on this one. It’s a very good deal that is only made better by FREE shipping from Costco Canada.

Here are some of the relevant specs on the Yoga 11:

  • 1.4 GHz Quad Code nVidia Tegra 3 processor
  • 2 GB DDR3L RAM
  • 64GB SSD
  • 11.6″ LED Screen
  • Integrated 720p HD Webcam
  • 2 USB 2.0 ports
  • HDMI
  • 2-in 1 card Reader (SD/MMC)

This is one of the best deals I’ve seen out there for a product like this. You get a full touch screen Windows RT (Windows 8 for tablets, basically) tablet with a full keyboard. The reason they call this line of devices “Yoga” is because it has a hinge that allows it to flip into different configurations. You can use it like a laptop or you can bend the keyboard to lay flat behind the screen to it can be used as a traditional tablet. There are two “in between” positions, one called “tent mode” and the other called “stand mode.” You can likely figure out what those look like but if you can’t just do a Google Image Search for Yoga 11.
