Get Tuesday Pricing All Week @ Cineplex & Landmark Cinemas Canada

*BUMP! We wanted to include Landmark Cinemas in this post* Get Tuesday Pricing All Week @ Cineplex & Landmark Cinemas Canada

This week at Cineplex & Landmark Cinemas Canada, you can get Tuesday pricing any day of the week. That makes for some fun & frugal outings with the family to see whatever movie suits your interests. This offer will run between August 31st and September 4th, but I have already purchased the tickets I want to ensure they don’t sell out first. It also appears that you can apply your 10% Scene member discount on top of these already low prices at Cineplex, woohoo.

I used to think that Tuesdays at Cineplex meant half price tickets, but I have been proven wrong! Actually, on Tuesdays you can get a discounted rate for all films at both Landmark Cinemas and Cineplex. Scene members will get their additional 10% discount as well at Cineplex. So the discount varies by movie it appears, so you’re going to have to take a look through the tickets online to see what price you will end up paying. Read the rest of this entry »

BOGO General Admission for Mother’s Day @ Landmark Cinemas (May 10)

BOGO General Admission for Mothers Day @ Landmark Cinemas (May 10)

This Mother’s Day, take your mom to the movies. Landmark Cinemas Canada has a printable coupon to bu one get one free on general admissions this Mother’s Day, May 10th. That means mom watches the movie for free.

Are you scrambling to think of a fantastic Mother’s Day plan? Sometimes it is just to just kick back and relax with mom, so why not go see a movie together? Landmark Cinemas Canada has a coupon valid for this Sunday the 10th of May. With this Landmark Cinemas coupon, buy one general admission and mom will get in for free. Just print the coupon or show it on your mobile device at the Box Office. Unfortunately you cannot use this coupon towards tickets purchases online.

There are lots of movies available to watch at Landmark Cinemas Canada right now. Even if you have young children, there are movies suitable for them as well. Some of the movies that are now playing at Landmark Cinemas include:

  • Hot Pursuit – tickets on sale now – advance screenings May 7
  • Ex Machina – tickets on sale now – coming May 8
  • Marvel Avengers – now playing
  • Furious 7 – now playing
  • Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 – now playing
  • The Age of Adaline – now playing
  • The Water Diviner – now playing
  • Unfriended – now playing
  • Woman In Gold – now playing
  • Home – now playing
  • Monkey Kingdom – now playing

My son and I went to watch the movie “Home” a few weeks back. Considering he is only 2 years old, he sat and enjoyed the entire movie without any complaints. I even found many parts hilarious. If you have young kiddos, perhaps you should consider going to see this movie with the entire family for Mother’s Day. Even if you’re the mom and have to plan this one yourself, it may be worth it. This adorably funny movie is about an alien race that takes over Earth. The main character Oh (alien) teams up with a little girl to find her mom and stop the aliens from taking over. Personally, the movies would be my kind of Mother’s Day!

You could spice it up a bit by dressing up or bringing flowers for mom. Chocolate is most likely welcomed as well. If you are looking for ways to save money on last minute Mother’s Day ideasthen read Clare’s blog post. For more Landmark Cinemas’ coupons and discounts, check out the Bargainmoose forums.

Buy 1 Adult Ticket, Get 1 Child Ticket Free @ Landmark Cinemas Canada

Buy 1 Adult Ticket, Get 1 Child Ticket Free @ Landmark Cinemas Canada

You may have plans for you and your kiddo to head out to see a movie this week, but you may want to wait. Landmark Cinemas Canada has just released a printable coupon that you will want to make use of. This Landmark Cinemas coupon will allow you to buy one adult ticket and get one child ticket for free. That means you and your little one can go see a film and you will only have to pay for yourself. This coupon is valid on select days between the 22nd of March and the 26th of March.

You can enjoy a free child’s movie ticket with the purchase of your adult ticket if you are planning on attending your local Landmark Cinema on the following dates:

  • 22nd March
  • 23rd March
  • 25th March
  • 26th March

If you reside in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba or Ontario then you’re in luck! That is where the Landmark Cinemas are located. There are quite a few locations throughout each province, so hopefully you have a theatre close enough to make use of this coupon. You will be limited to one coupon per person, per visit. However, one voucher can be used for a family of 2 adults and 2 children which is great.

There are lots of movies out that I want to see right now, but not many movies that are kid oriented. Your daughter may be interested in seeing Annie, Cinderella, or Swan Lake while your son may be pleading with you to go see The Penguins of Madagascar, Avengers Age of Ultron, or the new Spongebob movie: The Sponge Out of Water.

To get your free child ticket, all you have to do is purchase an adult ticket and either print this coupon or show it on your mobile device. Unfortunately this coupon cannot be used towards tickets during special events or “Morning Movies”. I am sure that applies to the Toonie movies as well. My son is two and I have been wondering if he would sit still long enough to enjoy a full movie at the theatre. Now I can try it out without worrying about wasting my money, since his ticket will be free.

What movie do you and your kiddo have your eyes on?

BOGO General Admission @ Landmark Cinemas (Printable Coupon)

Posted by on February 26, 2015 at 9:30 PM

BOGO General Admission @ Landmark Cinemas (Printable Coupon)

3, 2, 1, it’s movie time! Starting March 1st, you can use the printable coupon available at the link below to get a free movie ticket with purchase of a general admission.

On the coupon itself, you will see in the upper right corner that this BOGO offer is only valid on March 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th. The third of March is completely skipped because of it being Tuesday, also known as Cheapie Tuesday, during which all admissions get automatically slashed in half anyways.

Not sure what to watch? “Focus” is coming out on February 27th. It’s odd because personally, the only time that I have seen any kind of promotion for it is today on TV. Even my hubby who is an incredibly huge movie buff was surprised to see Will Smith in another movie given that his last two roles were not main ones at all. He played a judge in “A New York’s Winter’s Tale” and an ESPN reporter on “Anchorman 2″ before that. It’s a romantic dark comedy that focuses on the story of Nicky, a con-man who gets sidetracked by a young woman – surprise, surprise!

Speaking of a romantic movie, you could also check out Fifty Shades of Grey. It’s of course been highly hit or miss at the box office, with some movie viewers leaving the middle of the viewing, others love it and even more people than that boycotting. In any case, if it’s your cup of tea, then that’s another choice!

Another movie that could be interesting to watch is The Lazarus Effect, a thriller with Olivia Wilde and Donald Glover. Starting on February 27th, the plot centres around a team of medical professionals who find a way to resurrect the dead. However, when they are successful in bringing back their lead researcher back to life, things go unexpectedly haywire with a potential for the supernatural. It’s labelled as thriller, but judging by the description it does seem to have a tad of horror injected into it as well.

Moosers, which movie are you most excited to see at the box office @ Landmark Cinemas?

Landmark Cinemas Canada Printable Coupon: 2-For-1 General Admission

Posted by on October 5, 2014 at 1:30 PM

Landmark Cinemas Canada Printable Coupon: 2 For 1 General Admission

Go see a movie tonight or tomorrow at Landmark Cinemas and take advantage of a BOGO printable coupon to get two general admissions for the price of one.

While this is a hot offer, this is also one that expires really soon, so if you were thinking of going to see a movie either tonight or tomorrow, then make sure to use the printable coupon! Keep in mind that Landmark Cinemas aren’t as country-wide as Cineplex but they are still available in numerous of the major cities like Victoria, Surrey, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, etc. Sorry Eastern provinces, there are no Landmark Cinemas in Quebec or any of the maritime provinces but here’s to hoping that some pop up soon!

My hubby and I love going to the movies but paying nearly $50 for two general admission tickets, a popcorn, a drink and sometimes even a chocolate is just beyond outrageous. This is why we tend to only go on Tuesday in order to take advantage of the cheapie Tuesday deal at most movie theatres but sometimes, it is great to go see a movie on a day or night when it isn’t as packed.

Speaking of movies, did you hear about the recent partnership between Miramax and Netflix? Next summer, the sequel to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon will simultaneously come out in theatres and in Netflix. It will be available on the same day for viewing in either theatres or at home (as long as you have a Netflix subscription). This is an unprecedented move and one that I hope won’t be the last!

If you’re not sure what to watch, then might I suggest Gone Girl? I haven’t seen it yet but countless positive reviews have been pouring in for this mystery thriller film starring Ben Affleck, Carrie Coon, Rosamund Pike and Neil Patrick Harris. In fact, even Tyler Perry is in it! Alternatively, Guardians of the Galaxy is definitely worth watching as well, especially in 3D. I had the pleasure of watching this movie when it first came out and although I was a bit on the fence about whether I would enjoy a movie with so many seemingly random characters (i.e. there is a talking raccoon and a walking tree with the vocabulary consisting of just 3-4 words) but I absolutely loved it! There are plenty of funny moments to keep both kids and adults entertained the entire time.

Landmark Cinemas Canada Freebie: Get a Free Medium Popcorn

Landmark Cinemas Canada Freebie: Get a Free Medium Popcorn

Heading to a Landmarks Cinema theatre? Don’t forget to sign up for your free medium popcorn coupon first.

A trip to the movie theatre can be a lot of fun, and a lot of money. So I’m always happy for savings opportunities when they come up. One of my favourite long-standing offers is the free popcorn deal from Landmark Cinemas. When you visit their site and sign up for their e-Newsletter (bottom right of the homepage) they’ll email you a coupon for a free medium popcorn.

You just print the email and present it at your local Landmark Cinemas concession stand. With the high cost of concession items these days, it’s a pretty hefty savings and I appreciate that you don’t have to buy anything else in order to get the free popcorn. Get the whole family to sign up with different email accounts and you’ll really see the savings add up. Luckily, my son hasn’t discovered soda yet and he’s not big on candy, but he can certainly down more than his fair share of popcorn!

Once you’ve signed up for their eNewsletter and received your free coupon you can always unsubscribe, but I find they send some pretty good offers without spamming and overdoing it. Landmark Cinemas currently has locations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and the Yukon. To find a theatre near you visit their website.
