Shop.ca: KitchenAid Event With Up To 40% Off & Up To $75 In Rebates

If you are in the market for a KitchenAid appliance, now is the time to buy with Shop.ca’s KitchenAid event. You’ll get up to 40% off, plus up to $75 back in rebates.

I love KitchenAid appliances and wish I could every single one! I have the Artisan food processor and I can’t tell you how much I love it. The Harvest the Savings event is happening at KitchenAid until September 19th, with rebates back on various items from them. You can shop at any store that carries these items and still get the rebate, not just at Shop.ca. But, add their sale, plus the rebates and you’ve got yourself a deal.

I absolutely love this Architect 6qt slow cooker in silver. Awesome for making meals ahead on those busy weeks when you have hockey practice, gymnastics and karate all in one night. I’ve been there, I know how it feels to have no dinner prepared and everyone is ravenous and you have to leave in less than five minutes. Was $199.99, now $119.99.

If an Artisan stand mixer is on yours or someone  you love’s wishlist, this cornflower blue one is on sale. Was $499.99, now $349.99, but with mail-in rebate, you’ll get it for only $299.99.

If you do happen to find one of the rebate items cheaper, remember that Shop.ca offers free shipping, plus rewards, and you can use our exclusive $10 off your $50 purchase on top of this. Factor all of these facts in before you purchase anywhere.

Amazon Canada: 5-Speed KitchenAid Blender Only $88.99

Amazon Canada: 5 Speed KitchenAid Blender Only $88.99

Get the KitchenAid Five Speed blender with polycarbonate jar in empire red for only $88.99, was $189.99. I price compared this with other sites, and you couldn’t get this blender for under $100 anywhere else.

I’d love to get this blender, especially considering I have the matching food processor in empire red. I find the colour striking in my off-white and black kitchen, and it really makes it a standout piece. Not just a functional item, the KitchenAid blender is also a decorative item.

The jar is shatter-resistant, which is so important as I once broke the jar for my food processor, rendering it useless, even though it cost me almost $200. Hence, why I bought the new KitchenAid one, so it ended up being a win anyway. It holds 56 ounces, which is definitely a great amount. The controls are easy to use and you can blend in five speeds with the Intelli-speed electronic controls. The way the pitcher is built, it eliminates food getting trapped at the bottom so you aren’t having to use a toothbrush every time you want to clean it. It also has an advanced air flow design to keep the blender cool while you continue to blend with it.

Not only can you blend drinks in here, you can puree, stir, chop, and mix everything from smoothies to frozen drinks to soups. Honestly, this item is a must-have in a cook’s kitchen. It would make an amazing wedding gift, especially for the cost.

Reviewers say it is quiet, powerful and even compares to the more expensive, professional blenders like the Vita-mix.

Amazon Canada: $30 Off – KitchenAid Appliances For $39.99

Amazon Canada: $30 Off KitchenAid Appliances For $39.99

Amazon Canada has a great KitchenAid sale on select appliances. Get chef’s choppers, hand mixers, and immersion blenders for just $39.99!

My kitchen is full of KitchenAid appliances because I have worked with a lot of appliances in my short life and they are the best. Unfortunately, all my appliances are not matching. However, we do have two lovely empire red appliances: my husband’s food processor and my beloved blender, which is perhaps the most used appliance of them all. I would love to match any future appliances to them. I could get this KitchenAid KHM512ER 5-Speed Hand Mixer in Empire Red for only $39.99, originally $69.99. It is perfect for when you just need a little beat action but don’t want to haul out the stand mixer. I could also get this KitchenAid KFC3511ER 3.5-Cup Chef’s Chopper in Empire Red for only $39.99, originally $69.99. I would actually prefer it to our food processor. I’m not a big fan of the huge food processor because usually, what I want to chop is only a couple cups of nuts or herbs. This chopper would be perfect for me.

If I got to colour code my kitchen appliances all over again, I would not go for empire red. I would actually be all over this stunning crystal blue! You can get all three of the sale appliances in this beautiful colour:

Isn’t that just the prettiest colour ever?

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid Architect Slow Cooker 50% Off – Now $79.99 & Free Shipping

Posted by on April 30, 2013 at 8:00 AM

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid Architect Slow Cooker 50% Off Now $79.99 & Free Shipping

I was originally going to write about this great deal I found at The Bay, until I price compared and found this KitchenAid Architect Slow Cooker at Amazon much cheaper. On now for 50% off, regularly $149.99, now only $79.99. This is the cream of the crop of slow cookers, so it could be a great deal for a Mom who loves her small appliances.

I love KitchenAid and I really love the Architect series appliances. Not only do they look amazing on your countertop, they are pure function.

The 6 QT slow cooker comes in cocoa silver so it won’t clash with your kitchen, no matter your colour scheme. It has 24-hour programming so you can set it for whatever time you’d like it start cooking. I find this one of the greatest inventions for the working mom, since what could be worse than working a long day then trying to figure out what to make for dinner. This device lets you stay organized.

With four temperature settings, this powerful slow cooker will cook anything, no matter how slow or fast you may need it. It pre-heats quickly so you can get the party started, just in case you do come home and need something quick. The glass lid has form-fitting edges to seal in moisture and so it reduces the chance of lid drips, which are very annoying. The best part is after you are all done, you can just throw the ceramic pot right into the dishwasher.

You’ll also get free super saver shipping on this item.

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid 5-Speed Hand Mixer Only $39.99

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid 5 Speed Hand Mixer Only $39.99

Get the KitchenAid five-speed hand mixer for only $39.99, regularly $69.99, at Amazon Canada right now.

This very handy tool is a must-have in a kitchen. Save your arm muscles from exhaustion and use a hand mixer to mix cookie or bread dough, smoothies, gravy, whipped cream and more. This is a tool I remember fondly using in my mother’s and grandmother’s kitchens when they cooked. I especially loved licking chocolate pudding off of the beaters. Those are memories to remember.

Lightweight and quiet, this mixer will last a lifetime. If you aren’t an all-the-time baker and don’t need the stand mixer, this is a perfect replacement, especially as it is much cheaper! This one comes in my favourite colour of Empire Red, so it would be a perfect match with my food processor.

The reviews for this machine are fantastic, mostly about how stylish it is in the kitchen, that it is very quiet and that is powerful enough for dough, but gentle enough for whipping.

KitchenAid Canada: Mothers Day Rebates Up to $75 Off

Our beloved Kitchen Aid has a mail-in rebate promotion where you can get up to $75 off select small appliance purchases. This offer includes select stand mixers, food processors and stand mixer attachments.

You must buy a new appliance by May 30th, 2013 and you must submit your online claim form by July 12th, 2013.

I checked a number of stores and Amazon seems to have the lowest prices, but if you do a Google search of the product code (on the rebate form) you’ll be able to price match different stores. It must be a qualifying and participating store. Check the Find a Retailer page to find stores.

Qualifying appliances are as follows (check model number on form for more details):

Stand Mixers – $50 rebate:

  • Artisan – all colours
  • Architect Series – cocoa silver
  • Architect Series – all colours

Amazon Canada: Kitchenaid 3.5 Cup Food Chopper Only $39.99

Posted by on April 1, 2013 at 7:00 AM

Amazon Canada: Kitchenaid 3.5 Cup Food Chopper Only $39.99

Get the Kitchenaid 3.5 cup food chopper in tangerine today at Amazon Canada for only $39.99, regularly $69.99.

I’ve blogged here about how much I love my Kitchenaid food processor, and if you don’t want to or can’t spend the $200 on a kitchen tool, this food chopper is a steal. Even though it is small, it is so convenient for chopping up anything! It chops as well as slices, dices and purees with two speeds. One button and one blade lets you do all of these functions, so it is the perfect little tool. You can chop meat, raw or cooked vegetables and fruit, herbs and even nuts. A reverse spiral design on the blade actually pulls your food down so you get uniform chopping. How annoying is it to have larger chunks stuck at the top?

The 3.5 cup work bowl is BPA-free and dishwasher-safe, and so is the stainless steel multipurpose blade. What’s also cool about the blade is that it locks in, so when you pour out your ingredients, it doesn’t fall into the bowl which is super annoying.

The domed lid removes easily to add ingredients, and there is a wet-ingredient adder hole for adding liquids without removing the lid. The included spatula lets you get the bowl as clean as possible so you don’t waste any ingredients. The power cord wraps under the base so you don’t have long cords all over your kitchen.

Amazon Canada: Save $100 – KitchenAid 5-Speed Blender Now $89.97

Posted by on March 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM

Amazon Canada: Save $100 KitchenAid 5 Speed Blender Now $89.97

Amazon Canada has a huge discount on the KitchenAid KSB565OB 5-Speed Blender with Glass Jar in Onyx Black. Originally $189.99 the blender is on sale for $89.97.

If you want a different colour than onyx black, it will cost you an extra $10.

Features:

  • 48-oz. glass pitcher with measurement markings can withstand a range of temperatures
  • Stay-Put Lid w/Ingredient Cup
  • Steel-Reinforced Coupler ensures strength and durability by directly transferring motor power to the blade
  • Stainless steel blade is positioned on four different planes for fast, thorough blending.

I just used my KitchenAid blender to make a smoothie while writing this post. I find a fruit smoothie with a yogurt base really works well on mornings when I am rather busy. If you are getting a blender I would recommend investing in a good blender book so you get the most out of it… something like The Blender Bible which was $27.95 and is now $17.52.

Free shipping on orders of $25 or more.

Amazon Canada: 56% Off KitchenAid Rotor Slicer/Shredder Attachment

Amazon Canada: 56% Off KitchenAid Rotor Slicer/Shredder Attachment

Amazon Canada is offering 56% off the KitchenAid RVSA Rotor Slicer/Shredder Attachment for Stand Mixers. Originally $89.99 the set is on sale for $39.95.

I own this attachment and it is a good, though not perfect, substitute to shredding by hand. I have maintained more skin on my knuckles much to my husband’s delight. There are four blades for the rotor attachment and they are fairly easy to maneuver. Assembly is easy and cleaning is also very simple. I just suggest cleaning sooner rather than later. You can shred cheese with this system – I do it all the time.

One of the difficulties people have with the set is getting the blades unlocked. The mechanism is a bit stiff so to avoid any injuries I wrap my hand in a dish towel and stick it in the cone to rotate it to the unlocked position. It is really simple that way.

This is a fantastic deal for this set. I certainly think it is one of the most useful attachments for the stand mixer.

Free shipping on $25 or more.

Canadian Tire: Save Up to $150 on KitchenAid Appliances

Canadian Tire: Save Up to $150 on KitchenAid Appliances

Canadian Tire has a great deal on Kitchen Aid appliances from salad spinners to stand mixers.

There are nine items on sale. Here are a few of the better deals:

My poor wife has been suffering with a broken salad spinner for quite some time now. I know, I know, I’m a terrible provider and have grievously failed my wife but alas I shall make amends by purchasing a KitchenAid salad spinner for a mere $20. Like a phoenix, rising from the ashes, so shall be my appliance providing status! BWAHAHAHA!!!

Also, my poor wife for having to deal with someone who could turn the purchase of a salad spinner into that paragraph.

Anywho, these are really good deals if you need to replace something that is getting a bit older or if you’re just adding something. For example, a toaster oven. I love my toaster oven. When I was right out of college I quite literally never used my oven. Actually, I used it once to cook a ham. That was fun. The toaster oven though, that got used all the time. It was even big enough (as I believe this one is) to fit a 12″ frozen pizza. I still have that toaster oven and I use it quite a bit if I’m just cooking for me or if I’m cooking something for my boy.

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid Architect Food Processor Only $169

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid Architect Food Processor Only $169

Amazon Canada has an amazing deal on a Candy Apple Red KitchenAid Architect Series 12-cup Food Processor with three bowls for only $169, regularly $399.99.

I actually bought this exact food processor from Amazon just before Christmas and I have to say that it was love at first sight. Not just that it is beautiful, but everything it does for me makes me feel so, well, special.

This is an amazing tool to have in the kitchen. You can literally do everything with this machine. I shred cheese and vegetables with the shredding tool. I make french fries out of potatoes, sweet potatoes and any other vegetable I can think of so my kids will eat them. I chop herbs, vegetables, fruit, and meat. I’ve made whipped cream extremely easily. It also juices citrus fruits, kneads dough and probably does a bunch of other things I haven’t discovered yet. It has three bowls, which makes it easy to do fdifferent tasks without having to wash dishes in between. They are all different sizes too, so you don’t have to wash the biggest bowl, just to chop a few herbs.

The wide mouth is great for putting in whole vegetables and it pushes in really easy with the pusher. You can also put olive oil in the tube so it will slowly drain as your stuff chops and blends.

I can’t say enough good things about this food processor, it literally is my kitchen pride and joy and I show everyone who comes over how much I love it.

Shipping is free and for me it came amazingly quick.

The Bay Canada: Up to 45% Off KitchenAid Sale

The Bay Canada: Up to 45% Off KitchenAid Sale

The Bay Canada is having a fantastic KitchenAid sale right now. Save $150 on an Ultra Power Stand Mixer  and save up to 45% on other KitchenAid small appliances (excluding those ending in .95).

As most anyone who has seen my kitchen knows – I am a huge sucker for KitchenAid. Not all of it matches though because I buy the items on sale. I have a purple artisan stand mixer, a candy red blender and food processor, and a pink toaster. Sounds rather girly doesn’t it?! Here are some appliances I don’t have:

The featured deal, as seen in the photo above, is this Ultra Power Stand Mixer which was $399.99 and is now $249.99.

However, my favourite would have to be this Architect Series Stand Mixer With Glass Bowl Candy Apple Red which was $549.99 and is now $399.99. I have two other appliances that are candy apple red so this would match beautifully. Also, it comes with a glass bowl which I really prefer over the metal bowl.

Free shipping on orders of $99, or $45 with your HBC Card.

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid 5 Speed Artisan Series Blender Was $190 | Now $75

If you need a blender – this KitchenAid KSB565AC 5-Speed Artisan Series Blender with 48 oz. Glass Pitcher in Almond Cream is an absolute steal at Amazon Canada! Originally $189.99, the blender is on sale for $83.84 $75.46!

Features:

  • Easy Pour 48-Ounce (1.5 L) Glass Pitcher
  • Stay-Put Lid with Clear 2-Ounce (60 ml) Ingredient Cup
  • Soft Start Blending Feature
  • Clean Touch Control Pad
  • Die-Cast Metal Base

There are actually a lot more features – the list could go on, but these are some of the great ones. I own a KitchenAid Blender and it has lasted over a year with frequent use. I make smoothies in it several times a week. However, I think this price trumps the price I got mine for.

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid 5 Quart Glass Bowl Was $80 | Only $40 After Rebate

Amazon Canada has a KitchenAid 5-Quart Glass Bowl on sale from $79.99 down to $59.99. It qualifies for a $20 mail-in-rebate from KitchenAid so the total price the glass bowl will cost you is around $40.

This bowl fits all tilt-head KitchenAid Mixers (with the exception of the Accolade). I own an Artisan and it fits it just perfectly. It is a 5 Quart bowl – which is actually huge, it holds an absolute ton!

The rebate form is actually pretty easy. I have done two rebates before (though I forgot to do my rebate for my glass bowl… sigh, it was during finals!) and though they can be mail-in-rebates you can also file them online. You just scan in your receipt and the barcode info, plus fill in the required form and you are golden. Your purchase must be made between January 4th and February 21st, 2013 to qualify.
