Amazon Canada: KitchenAid 4-Cup Personal Coffee Maker Was $100 | Now $50 & Free Shipping

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid 4 Cup Personal Coffee Maker Was $100 | Now $50 & Free Shipping

If you love the look of sleek KitchenAid appliances in your kitchen, you won’t want to miss out on this deal at Amazon. Get the KitchenAid 4-cup personal coffee maker in empire red for only $50 and free shipping, with a regular price of $99.99.

I personally already have one empire red KitchenAid appliance in my kitchen and I think it looks fantastic on the counter. I don’t drink coffee, but I’m still considering getting this appliance, mainly for my husband and the guests who come over who might want coffee.

I love that it has an 18-oz thermal mug with lid so you can make your coffee right in the travel mug and go. This way when my husband has very early mornings, he doesn’t have to make that extra stop for coffee and wait in a long line at Timmies. I would just hope he’d bring it back each time!

So while they call this a 4-cup coffee maker, they mean 3.5 actual cups of liquid, not four cups of coffee. It brews 18oz into one cup, which is probably what you’d call an extra large coffee, although for some, this just gets them started.

It has varied reviews, although the majority are 5-star, with only one 1-star review. Reviewers love that this is a single-cup brewer but without the waste of k-cups or discs. Personally, when I see the waste that my husband’s Tassimo discs add, I feel very icky. I find it ironic that the people opposing single use plastic water bottles have no problem slipping in a disc for their coffee and then throwing it out. This definitely feels like a solution to that problem.

I like what this one reviewer had to say:

This coffee maker makes a perfect cup! It’s hot, strong, and convenient! The coffee maker is easy to clean, and a great size to fit into a small counter space! Best of all? It matches my stand blender!

The one-star review says they could only get the machine to work once. To me, that signals human error, as it would have a warranty, so all they would have to do is call and get a new one. Even KitchenAid can have the odd faulty machine.

I couldn’t really find this machine anywhere else to price compare, but even on Amazon, I see other colour brewers selling for $90.

Now, I know some of you can be picky with having to do mail-in rebates and may have had failures with these in the past. But, this is a legitimate offer via Amazon and KitchenAid, and as long as you fill in the form correctly and send it off in a timely manner, you will be fine. You must purchase the device before the end of the 12th March 2015, and have the paperwork to them by the 12th April 2015.

Sadly, all the different colours aren’t as good a deal – they’re all priced at $379.99 on Amazon. Only the metallic chrome is on offer for $299.99 there. However, the mail-in rebate also applies – if you want to choose another colour, you’ll be paying an extra $80 for that privilege.

Price Comparison

Elsewhere online in Canada, this particular model is only sold at a handful of competitors. You can pick it up for $550 @ TheToolStore.ca, $380 @ Sears, and $550 @ The Bay. So overall, it’s a superb price from Amazon today.

Hands down this is the best blender on the market and it is a better price than those expensive Ninja, Vitamix, etc blenders that cost double or triple and do NOT do the job. This blender WILL make your food smooth. I tested many of the others and found they are sub-par. Look at YouTube for great reviews on this blender and watch it outperform others. I make veggie smoothies every morning – kale, herbs, greens, more greens, and one banana. I am picky about chunks – I want it smooth!

Amazon: KitchenAid Strainer & Grinder Attachment Was $160 | Now $89.99 & $20 Rebate (EXPIRED)

Posted by on December 25, 2014 at 1:41 PM

Amazon: KitchenAid Strainer & Grinder Attachment Was $160 | Now $89.99 & $20 Rebate (EXPIRED)

Amazon Canada has a huge one-day Boxing Week sale on KitchenAid attachments for stand mixers. One of the best deals is the KitchenAid FVSFGA Fruit/Vegetable Strainer and Food Grinder on sale from $159.99 down to $89.99. It also qualifies for a $20 rebate via KitchenAid. Once you receive your $20 rebate, the attachment will have cost you $69.99.

This is a very versatile Stand mixer attachment. Use it to turn fruits, vegetables, and more into juice. In addition, you can use the attachment to grind either fresh or cooked meat for burgers, meatloaf, or whatever else your recipe requires. I like how this attachment pulls double-duty and fits on to the end of my Stand Mixer. The reviews are extremely positive with many reviewers positively bursting with pleasure at the attachment’s usefulness:

We canned two bushels of tomato sauce in one weekend this year with the help of this little attachment. This made short work of juicing the tomatoes, about an hour and half for each bushel, with very low effort. The previous year saw us using a hand-cranked strainer, that required us to skin the tomatoes before using, and that took a whole day to juice the tomatoes and we didn’t get nearly as much liquid. Long story short, this thing is worth every penny.

I could not see doing enough juicing in my house to make it worthwhile but for many people – this is a god-sent.

Several other attachments on sale also qualify for rebates. Combined, they are one of the best deals I have seen on these attachments.

Amazon: KitchenAid Strainer & Grinder Attachment Was $160 | Now $89.99 & $20 Rebate (EXPIRED)

The KitchenAid KPRA Pasta Roller & Cutter Set retails for $279.99 and is now on sale for $139.99. As you can see from the graphic above, it qualifies for a $20 rebate bringing the price down to a $119.99.

The KitchenAid KSM2FPA Food Processor Attachment with Commercial Style Dicing Kit was $279.99 and is now on sale for $172.99. After rebate, your total would be $152.99.

In addition, the KitchenAid KSM1JA Masticating Juicer Attachment is at its best price yet on Amazon. Originally $279.99, pick up the unit for just $149.99. After $20 rebate, you will have picked up this sweet attachment for just $129.99.

There are many other attachments on sale. Receive free shipping on orders of $25 or more.

KitchenAid Rebates: Up to $75 Holiday Rebate Offer

Posted by on December 5, 2014 at 5:00 PM

KitchenAid Rebates: Up to $75 Holiday Rebate Offer

Kitchenaid is offering up to $75 back in rebates for the purchase of various KitchenAid appliances including stand mixers, juicers, blenders, food processors, and stand mixer attachments purchased from the 14th of November through the 9th of January 2015.

It is important to familiarize yourself with the selection of appliances that are eligible for rebate. The companies selling the appliances this holiday season may or may not advertise that these rebates are available. Also, rebates are only available on select models so it would be good to save the model number sheet so you can quickly look up if the item you are about to purchase for a good price qualifies for the rebate. Here is an example of some of the rebates available:

  • Artisan – All Colours – $50 Rebate
  • Stand Mixer Rotor Slicer/Shredder Attachment – $20 Rebate
  • Architect Series KFP1344A & KFP1433A Food processors – $75 Rebate

These are just some of the rebates you can expect to see. Almost all the food processor attachments have a $20 rebate right now. Stand Mixers, depending on what model and series, are eligible for up to $75 back.

The rebate form can be printed off and mailed. However, I found it much easier to submit the form online. You will need to keep the product packaging long enough to cut out the UPC code on the box as it acts as your proof of purchase along with your receipt. You will also need access to a scanner, but the camera on your phone should work just as well. I have filed a couple rebates this way and it saves on the cost of a stamp.

If you bought any Kitchen Aid appliances for Black Friday, make sure you still have the boxes for that UPC code, as you will need it. You will need to enter the date of purchase, retailer and the product you purchased by description, model number and UPC code in the form and then provide scans of the UPC code and the receipt as well.

Overall, the process is simple. Together with fantastic sales around the holidays, you really can score quite the deal on KitchenAid. This is exactly how I managed to purchase an Artisan stand mixer for $170 after rebate.

All claims must be received by the 9th of February, 2015.

I’ve included a brief review of this Ultra Power Series 4.5-Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer from a satisfied Amazon customer below:

Very well built product. One mixer combines multiple products into one. Makes work quick on recipes, I used it to make a huge batch for quick breads. They turned out fantastic!

Walmart Canada: $150 Off KitchenAid Stainless Steel 10pc Set – Now $98

Posted by on September 19, 2014 at 10:00 PM

Walmart Canada: $150 Off KitchenAid Stainless Steel 10pc Set Now $98With so many amazing deals going on right now at Walmart right as part of their Anniversary Even’t, it’s hard to know where to look but here’s a really good one I spotted: you can currently get the KitchenAid stainless steel 10-pc set on sale for just $98. It was originally priced as high as $249, putting this at a 60% discount!

Silver metallic in colour and made of stainless steel, this KitchenAid cookware set comes with a stock pot, 3 sauce pans and a frying pan, along with all of the lids for these. I have been in the most deperate need of a cookware set and this one is definitely right up my alley. Not only is it a really good deal because of the price but it’s also a particularly good one for a KitchenAid-branded set. I had a look on Amazon for KitchenAid cookware sets and the cheapest one I found is actually the 11-pc one for $214.24, which personally isn’t appealing to me at all because compared to Walmart’s deal, you would be looking at an extra piece for more than $115.

Plus, this cookware is also dishwasher safe and at that price, I wouldn’t worry too much about that little factor anyways. In any case, it’s still nice knowing that once you’re down cooking, you can simply throw everything in the dishwasher without fear of something warping or breaking.

A couple of months ago, an extremely happy reviewer posted the following 5 stars out of 5 review:

I bought this at an amazing price… Great products.. All ready to cook my holiday feast!! Thanks Walmart.

And while it doesn’t apply to this year’s holidays, it’s nevertheless a good idea. If you’re planning on either hosting dinner over the holidays or perhaps even helping out with one, then you can never have enough containers, cookware pieces… basically, everything you have, you now need in double or triple! So, even if you already have a cookware set, this one could totally serve as a backup one for those big family and friends kind of events as there is nothing worse than not having enough room to either cook or store all of the food in.

Even better is that you won’t have to worry about any additional fees as Walmart offers free shipping.

Hudson’s Bay Canada Flash Sale: Kitchenaid Classic Plus Stand Mixer | Was $400 Now $200 (Expired)

Posted by on September 17, 2014 at 8:30 AM

Hudsons Bay Canada Flash Sale: Kitchenaid Classic Plus Stand Mixer | Was $400 Now $200 (Expired)

Good morning, Bargainmoosers! Hudson’s Bay is currently having a flash sale on their Kitchenaid Classic Plus Stand Mixer – it normally retails for $399.95, but for a limited time you can nab it for just $199.95. That’s 50% off of the regular price! Since this product is over $99, your order will also qualify for free shipping! Kitchenaid is a reputable and established kitchen appliance brand, and there’s always room on the counter for a powerful mixer, so I would fully recommend checking out their Classic Plus Stand Mixer.

The Kitchenaid Classic Plus Stand Mixer has a sleek silver exterior, comes with 3 attachments, and can help you handle all of your mixing needs! Whether you’re making pizza dough, bread, cookies, or even a delicious key lime pie, this powerhouse of a mixer can be a handy assistant in the kitchen.

My significant other has this same mixer (except it’s black instead of being silver), and it’s great. She’ll make pizza dough from scratch with the help of this Kitchenaid Mixer, and it always ends up morphing into a fantastic pizza every time! In fact, if she’s reading this, I hope that she decides to make me another delicious pizza during the next few days!

Hudson’s Bay is also slashing prices on some of their Kitchenaid Architect Food Processors, which you can check out by clicking here.

This is just a great deal. It’s $399.99 at Sears, and it’s on sale at Amazon for $249.99. I’ve included a snippet of a review from a satisfied Hudson’s Bay customer below:

I have had this machine for at least a dozen years. I just bought one for my son, who is in his first home missing my baking. This mixer is heavy duty and reliable. I get beautiful results from it in a fraction of the time compared to a hand mixer… This mixer can handle anything I want it to do. In a nutshell, this machine is quality and will last a lifetime.

Get this powerhouse of a mixer while it’s still available! I’ve seen it in action, and I highly recommend the Kitchenaid Classic Plus Stand Mixer. Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid Stand Mixer Only $199

Posted by on August 20, 2014 at 1:00 PM

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid Stand Mixer Only $199

I know I blogged about a KitchenAid mixer deal just a few days ago, but this one is a good one too! And you deserve to know! Get the classic stand mixer for only $199.99, with a regular price of $399.99.

The nitty gritty:

This mixer has a 4.5 quart polished stainless steel bowl, a 275 watt motor and comes with a flat beater, dough hook and a six wire whip. This one comes in silver, which is a standard and gorgeous colour for a small appliance in your home.

It has a tilt head and 59-point planetary mixing action. This means that it has 59 touchpoints per rotation in the bowl so you know your ingredients are all being incorporated.

This might make a great gift to put away for Christmas, as the under $200 price point is pretty amazing. You could wait and hope the price goes down more, but will it?

Reviews:

The reviews are more than awesome for this machine. Most are five star, some are 4 star and only one person rated it with a 2-star rating. Here’s what people are saying:

This was perfect – just what we were looking for and it’s so beautiful it can just live on the counter!

More than I hoped for. Too bad I didn’t get one earlier. So far, I have whipped egg whites, made bread, whipped cream, cookies and waffles.

Price comparison:

While there is an ongoing KitchenAid rebate going on right now, unfortunately, this mixer doesn’t qualify. It is still a great price regardless. Here it is at Sears for the full price of $399.99. NewEgg has it for $229.99 and Air Miles sells it for $329.99.

Shipping:

Amazon offers free shipping on orders over $25, so this will definitely qualify and you won’t have to pay those irritating delivery fees.

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid Rotor Slicer/Shredder Attachment Now $39.95

Posted by on August 17, 2014 at 8:30 PM

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid Rotor Slicer/Shredder Attachment Now $39.95

Amazon Canada has not had this deal for well over a year, thus I am excited to be blogging about it again. Pick up the KitchenAid RVSA Rotor Slicer/Shredder Attachment for Stand Mixers for only $39.95, originally $99.99.

Edit: As per our lovely Moosers’ comments; there is a $20 rebate from KitchenAid on this attachment from August 15 – September 26. In the end you would be paying around $20 after rebate!

I conducted a little price comparing. Sears.ca has the Rotor slicer/shredder attachment on sale for $89.99, Hudson’s Bay Canada has the rotor for $99.99, London Drugs has the rotor on sale for $84.99, and only Future Shop Canada matches Amazon’s price at $39.95. Therefore, if Amazon’s price changes suddenly, you can buy it at Future Shop instead. Given that anywhere else you are paying at least double the price for the attachment (except for Future Shop), I figured this is an awesome deal.

The rotor slicer/shredder attachment comes with four blades and the housing, which fits on your stand mixer. It also has a metal core with which you attach the blades. My husband still has not figured out how to mount the shredder properly, but it really isn’t rocket science. I use the fine shredder blade the most on cheese for pizza. I do highly recommend using firm cheeses. Moisture content matters when it comes to the quality of your shredding.

I have tried slicing cucumbers and a few other vegetables. For me, the shredder is far better than fishing out the food processor when you only need a small amount of shredding or slicing done. I originally found the blades hard to detach, but the trick is to wrap a dishtowel around your hand, stick your hand in (make a fist in the dishtowel), and then rotate backwards. Of course, you want to make sure the stand mixer is unplugged. It works every time.

My main pet peeve, like other reviewers, is the stuff that is trapped between the housing and the blade. However, like one reviewer pointed out:

Some food did get stuck between the hopper and the blade, but, to be fair, I have also had this problem with other food processors.

That is fair. I have watched my husband use the food processor and he hardly fairs any better.

While I would not pay full price for this attachment, I certainly think it is worth the $39.50 that Amazon and Future Shop are asking, especially after the $20 rebate. It is used often in my household.

Don’t have a stand mixer? Amazon Canada has this KitchenAid KSM75SL Classic Stand Mixer on sale for $199.99, down from $399.99!

Receive free shipping on orders of $25 or more at Amazon Canada now.

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid Artisan Mixer Only $239

Posted by on August 15, 2014 at 9:30 AM

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid Artisan Mixer Only $239

Amazon has dropped the price on their KitchenAid Artisan five quart stand mixer. Some colours are only $289.99 and the other colours have varying prices, but are also discounted. On top of this, KitchenAid has a mail-in rebate promotion going on for a number of their appliances, but on this particular model you’ll get $50 back, making the price only $239, which is quite sweet!

I’ve been really wanting one of these stand mixers for my loves-to-bake husband. On a whim, he’ll whip up a batch of cookies, muffins, cupcakes, a cake, or whatever and while I love him for it, my thighs don’t like him as much. Either way, I’d love to reward his love of baking and get him something he’ll really appreciate. This might be perfect gift to save for him for Christmas as well. While everything I bake turns to dough, I wonder if this appliance would help me be better at baking. I even made a boxed cake mix where you only add water and it didn’t turn out. How does this happen? I think I may have over-whipped it and a stand mixer would take this step right out of my hands.

While both the black and the white are ultra-slick and at the $289 price point, I really love that you can accent your kitchen with a kitchen appliance like this. I have the Artisan food processor in red, and it looks amazing on my counter, so it would be nice to match them up. The red is also $289 and so is the very hot metallic chrome. Decisions, decisions!

Depending on the colour you want, this item may sell out fast, so don’t hum and haw over this and come back tonight hoping to get the colour you want. For example, the watermelon, while the most expensive at $403.56 only has six left in stock.

Amazon will ship this item to you for free as well. I’m not sure when this deal will end, but the mail in rebate deal ends in September, so you have quite a bit of time to get your forms in.

KitchenAid Classic Plus Stand Mixer Only $199.95 @ The Bay Today Only (Half Price!)

Posted by on August 6, 2014 at 5:56 AM

KitchenAid Classic Plus Stand Mixer Only $199.95 @ The Bay Today Only (Half Price!)

Flash sale! For one day only, you can buy a Kitchenaid Classic Plus Stand Mixer for only $199.95 with free shipping at The Bay Canada – only at the online store! Regularly priced at $399.95, that’s a $200 discount. Here are all the details:

When I have seen flash sales like this in the past from The Bay, sometimes they run out of stock through the day. So if you are interested, I’d purchase sooner rather than later.

These Kitchenaid stand mixers are something we write about here on Bargainmoose quite often, they’re a very popular sale item. As such, the prices tend to go up and down a lot. However, between $180 & $200 is the lowest I’ve usually seen them drop to. I’ve only ever seen this model drop this low in price in flash sales.

In price comparing this particular model, I can see it selling for $400 @ Amazon, $480 @ LondonDrugs, $400 @ CanadianTire, $400 @ Sears – therefore it’s an excellent price from The Bay.

As you’re getting free shipping anyway, have a browse round The Bay’s site and see if there’s anything else you want to pop in to your cart. There is up to 70% in the final summer clearance, you can check out the men’s or women’s sections here.

I would love one of these beautiful stand mixers in my kitchen, but I really don’t have the available countertop space. I’d want to display it there, I wouldn’t put it away in a cupboard. I’d also probably make use of it a few times a month… we do baking almost every weekend in this house. It’s a great form of entertainment for my four year old daughter, and I try and get her to do almost everything herself (apart from putting things in the hot oven). She loves stirring and mixing, getting covered in flour and icing sugar, and inevitably licking the bowl encrusted with some sort of sweet chocolaty goo!

On its own, the KitchenAid ice cream stand mixer usually retails for $129.99 and it’s definitely a pretty nifty tool to have alongside the stand mixer. Although you can buy any regular ice cream maker for as low as $29 at Walmart, the KitchenAid far outweighs all of them because it takes less space, is bigger and the motor is known to last longer. This promotion also perfectly coincides with the current hot weather as you could use the bonus ice cream bowl to make frozen treats for the whole family to enjoy and cool off with as it sure beats overspending on Dairy Queen every day!

Amazon has the Artisan mixer on sale for $349.99 but the fact that The Bay is throwing in a free ice cream bowl is what pushes this deal over the edge. Arguably, Costco is selling the KitchenAid Professional 6000 lift stand mixer for $359.99 and while it’s only $10 more for a mixer that can hold more (5.7 L as opposed to 2.1 L with the Artisan), I actually have the professional one and I wish I would have gotten the artisan instead. The reason for this is that while I fancy myself a baker, I don’t bake nearly as often or as much as I would like. So if like me, you don’t see yourself making dozens upon dozens of cookies simultaneously or say, multiple triple-layered chocolate cakes, then I would definitely recommend the Artisan one.

Other points to consider when debating between the Artisan and the Professional is that the latter is much taller and may not fit on your counter, especially if your cupboards are lower. I also wonder about the effectiveness of making regular batches in such a large container as the Professional and I would think that a regular mixer would perfect mix much better.

You can also save up to 40% off a variety of KitchenAid small appliances as well right now. Among these, I found the KitchenAid Architect blender in candy apple red on sale for just $129.99 instead of $199.99. It can hold up to 48oz and has 5 different blend speeds: stir, mix, chop, puree, liquefy or chop ice.

Since The Bay typically offers free shipping on orders over $99, your order will also be shipped free of charge.

Canadian Tire: KitchenAid Deals Up To 75% Off (In Store)

Canadian Tire has some Kitchen Aid deals to rock your little socks off. However, all these deals are in store only, so you will need to jump on your peddle bike and high-tail it to your local store to shop.

I want to send my husband to go get this KitchenAid Cast-Iron Skillet, 10 inch, because I love cooking with cast iron and our frying pans are in desperate need of replacement. The skillet is also on sale from $59.99 down to only $19.99. Click through each link provided to see the availability at your local store. Our local store has zero in stock, so I might be out of luck on this one.

Thankfully, the larger size KitchenAid 12-in Cast Iron Frying Pan is on sale as well and in stock at my local store. Originally $89.99, it is now on sale for $29.99. While I prefer smaller frying pans for eggs and such basics, I think I could get along with a 12″ just fine for that price. I just love that you can use cast iron in the oven, on the stovetop, on a grill and even on the campfire.

If you are looking for a new set of pots and pans, I highly recommend checking out the deal on this KitchenAid 10-piece Red Cookset. It is 70% off the original price of $439.99. Now only $129.99, it is an absolute steal for three pots, a Dutch oven, a sauté pan, and matching lids.

No kitchen is complete without utensils. If you buy utensils individually, then they can cost you a lot of money. Thus, this 17 piece KitchenAid Tool and Gadget Set is a fantastic buy as the tools are already bundled and they are on sale. Originally $59.99, the bundle is now on for just $29.99.

The absolute crème-de-la-crème of the entire sale is this stunning 14-piece KitchenAid White Triple Rivet Knife Set for 75% off. Originally $199.99, the set is on sale for just $49.99. The set includes an 8″ Chef knife, 8″ slicing knife, sharpening steel, 5.5″ serrated utility knife, 5″ santoku knife, 3.5″ paring knife, kitchen shears, six 4.5″ steak knives, and a block. It’s everything you need for a kitchen and it is beautiful as well.

I really cannot wait for the day that Canadian Tire is ready to sell their wonderful deals online. Though these are all in store deals, they are all just so good I had to blog about them because they are worth heading out for.
