When they show an outfit, they’ll tell you the price of each item, even what kind of nail polish the model is wearing. You really can copy the look! There is a really cute polka dot blouse for $36.75  (reg. $49), skinny red belt for $21.75 (reg. $29) and black ponte skirt for $51.75 (reg. $69) that would make a great outfit for a night out.

I haven’t shopped at Jacobs for ages. I use to love getting skirts their as they were feminine and generally a good ‘business’ length. Business length being that they either hit at the knee or right below it. I prefer mid length skirts that still spell fun but cover what your mother gave you!

I’m not sure if you have to be a member of Jacob to use this coupon. It didn’t really say in the email, and it doesn’t say on the coupon either.

Did you know: Did you know that Jacob has a no-retouching policy? Jacob is a Montreal-based clothing retailer with 100 or so stores. It made the decision a while ago to stop retouching the body shape of models used in their lingerie and apparel campaigns. That means: no shaved hips, skinnier thighs, slimmed tummies and the what-not. It also means: more realistic image of what women are. You can see more about their policy here. Go Jacob!!

I like Jacob’s clothing, it’s trendy and professional. I also really like their lingerie, but find it a bit pricey.

While browsing their site, I noticed a link on the left for their “no retouching policy.” They’ve undertaken not to use photoshopped pics for the advertising campaigns – which I am behind. They show an image of a before and after model shot, which was used in a previous campaign – and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the “before.”

I spotted this deal over on Lena’s blog, and she says:

Sometimes many stores say that the free gift card has to be used towards a certain spend threshold, but the Jacob advert doesn’t mention any future minimum spend needed.
